>goes up to the yakuza and tells them to kill themselves >the same guys who've been trying to kill her the whole fricking game >gets shot
lol I love how nips punish woman moments mercilessly
Just for arguments sake I'm going to disagree and say L is more of a medium difficulty letter to pronounce since it uses the tongue. Haha it's no "A" thats for sure!
>The English "L" sound (as in leaf or mild) does not exist in the Japanese phonetic alphabet, making "La li lu le lo" an impossible utterance in Japanese. Instead, the Japanese have a sound that can be either L-like or R-like depending on its location in a word, with the English "L" being somewhat unattainable (the phrase would thus be spoken as "Ra ri ru re ro"). The idea is that the Patriots change their name to be a phrase that cannot be spoken or written down. However, since English does have the "L", this concept could not be translated. This idea is also subtly referred to when Emma explains the Patriots' attempts at censorship to Raiden and how GW ties in to it, when she mentions that the twenty-six letter alphabet could have originally been thirty and that they removed a few letters.
I'm not an expert in japanese or english but I would assume that they can but simply don't know when or how to pronounce it properly when attempting to speak english. It's like when slavs don't care and have a very specific accent when talking to someone in english.
I think when westerners say "ramen" in english they incorrectly pronounce it with hard R when chinks/japs usually say it very softly almost sounding like "Lamen" instead.
Japanese doesn't distinguish between L and R so in a Japanese context you just need to get close enough and it'll be understood as the Japanese "R" sound. This is what can cause problems because even if you can pronounce the two sounds, you need to get used to distinguishing them in every context.
Also the Japanese R is mostly an alveolar tap, i.e. the sound Americans use for T/D in words like Metal/Medal.
>Remember when he beat his wife?
he hit her once but his real crime was abandoning her and frick ogita i'm glad he's dead >Or when he beat one of his family member with an umbrella?
stupid motherfricker should've laughed
Japanese don’t talk like this
my wife did
>my wife did
>did
Divorce or something else? If it's grim I'm sorry for your loss
She is Chinese.
Sorry. *ahem*
Honda, Subaru, Ramen, Mazda, Mitsubishi, Sushi, Suzuki. Fujitsu
That's precisely how Japanese people talk, which is why I exclusively listen to English dubbing.

Majima fell for a clumsy blind woman...
I can't blame him, he probably wanted to fix her
why can't they pronounce "L"
it's one of the easiest letters to pronounce
They can, but L and R is the same thing so they mess it up
Like how angloids can't pronounce X
>but L and R is the same thing
no they aren't
らるりれろ
it's both L and R
Technically it's just a ら sound with a different vocal
la li lu lei lo?
la lu li le lo
I'm a dumbass
no you were right, the order is la li lu le lo.
Just for arguments sake I'm going to disagree and say L is more of a medium difficulty letter to pronounce since it uses the tongue. Haha it's no "A" thats for sure!
the L sound doesn't phonetically exist in their language. they go through life without needing to learn it

its pronounced like El were I'm from
Same reason why westerners can't roll their R's.
