I don't have any "checklists". I just have a general backlog and go through it at my own pace
>Thoughts?
Why do you want to binge fromsoft games so much? Eternal Ring was pretty fun
>Why do you want to binge fromsoft games so much?
Believe it or not, that list is only like 50% of their total catalog of games... these are just the games that happen to really appeal to me.
>Believe it or not, that list is only like 50% of their total catalog of games
I am aware of that. Well you do you, but you might want to play the original Demon's Souls instead of the remake. That said idk, i haven't really seen the remake, i just heard that it's kinda shit so you'd have to check it out yourself
Yeah I never play remakes or remasters of any games anyway, they're pretty much always shitter. I can't think of a single example when they have improved upon an original game.
good opinion
Agreed.
These are rare on Ganker these days
>Still know which games he will like (comtrarian and old good, new bad) despite never touching any of them
>Parrots generic brainfart contrarian opinions to fit in
What a dogshit pathetic thread, this OP specifically is a gay to rule them all
Have you ever played a King's Field game?
They are pathetically easy
I don't need to play an old game to know that it's better than the newest one
Mass Effect Legendary Edition
Darksiders Trilogy
Thief series
Deus Ex
you going down the fromsoft rabbithole? i did the same about 7 years ago. go ahead and try a king's field/shadow tower game before you try souls (seems like you haven't played a souls game yet). you may like the series more, like i do. you will get a much better understanding of what they were trying to accomplish with souls if you play a kf game first. I actually love that you are open to trying all of these games, instead of just settling with souls.
Yeah King's Field appeals to me a lot more than Souls because it's firstperson and the aesthetic and themes and music... I dunno they just seem more appealing to me.
Almost nothing about King's Field games is offputting to me.
I am not interested in Souls games beyond Dark Souls II though, as Dark Souls III, Bloodborne and Sekiro just do not appeal to me whatsoever.
Any specific reason you won't play fromsoft games past DS2? It's the correct choice, just wondering how you came to that conclusion without playing the games first
After Dark Souls II there is a clear shift towards much faster, more fluid, twitchpaced action-adventure style games.
For as much as Dark Souls II gets shat on, it still has that clunky, methodical, weighty gameplay of Dark Souls. I like the look of the lands and enemy designs and combat and general gameplay.
I feel like everything that's come after has just been soulless trash.
Cool
DS2 Sotfs is based btw unless you care about the lore
I've made a lot of lists like this in the past but all they do is make it a chore to play the games and I start to feel forced to play them as if it was a job. Now my lists contain of 1 game at a time, right now it's Majora's Mask and I won't decide on next game until I finish it.
Also, what do you mean by 2023 checklist, you won't start until 5 months until now?
>Also, what do you mean by 2023 checklist, you won't start until 5 months until now?
Yes, that's exactly what I mean.
wont you get tired playing so many of the same kind of games back to back?
No, no I won't.
No, I'll stick with the original.
