why do all the characters look like monkeys
They look like Wallace and/or Gromit.
I think it's the smile
Fun game, but the pathfinding could be better.
Played it a while back. It's an ok theme hospital clone. That's it.
It's literally Theme Hospital in all but name, they even have the same voice-over lady from the original TH.
Does it improve in anyway on the old th formula? is it at least as amusing?
It's pretty much identical, even the flow of the build game is the same. It has all the usual funny illnesses but there's a lot more to do in this game. If you like TH then you'll like this too.
Hm, it looks like a cheap knockoff at first. Ty anon Ill be sure to try it
It's literally Theme Hospital 2 in all but name. A lot of the same people who made Theme Hospital made Two Point.
Np, I thought it was someone ripping it off too but after playing it you realise it's just the modern version of TH in every way.
Most of the same people from TH are in this company now, that's why it's good.
And the soundtrack in this is great too.
FISHHHH WHISPERSSSSS
I loved the radio, Game was great fun too. Only real complaint is that some of the 3*s were a real drag, I should have just stopped at 2*, but by then I’d 3*’d everything so far, there was a sunk cost
TWO POINT HOSPITAL'S THE ONLY PLACE TO BE!
(Though we're required to say there's other options, legally...)
Ahem.
FRICK GROCKLE BAY.
That is all.
Which area is that again? The snow level with the avalanches?
This fricking shithole.
>build your hospital on a cliff
>when patients die you just yeet them off the cliff into the ocean
Brilliant.
All the buildings have fricked up shapes which really makes it hard to build all the rooms you need.
I liked Evil Genius 2. Too bad it flopped and didn't get more content after the final genius dropped.
What are these types of base building games called?
Simulators.
Management Sims is the closest to a proper genre name but it would be helpful to have a name that distinguishes the kind of ones that specifically have little people running around and a bit of a dark sense of humour to it. Without just calling them Dungeon Keeper-likes or whatever.
Part of the reason it flopped was Denuvo. The other part was apparently it made you wait around doing nothing even more than the original.
I'm part of the people that dropped it thanks to Denuvo despite being a big EG1 fan.
If the second part is also true, then it was a guaranteed formula to frick over the game. The first one already had too much waiting. This one, I'm told, makes it even worse and fricks with the heat system to make it several times worse than the old one. I'm told that heat is inevitable and all you really do is wait for them to raid your base and then get back down to 0 heat. Mostly uncontrollable. Then they force you to lose minions on every job forcing you to wait while new ones train. That sounds like a really bad time as minions took forever already without forcing you into training them with no way to prevent their death.
tl;dr Evil Genius 2 died because the people making it were morons and did everything they could to make all the bad parts of the original game worse.
>This one, I'm told, makes it even worse and fricks with the heat system to make it several times worse than the old one. I'm told that heat is inevitable and all you really do is wait for them to raid your base and then get back down to 0 heat.
The problem with the game isn't the heat, the problem with it is
>can only take on one mission at a time
>many missions have multiple stages that can only be completed one at a time
>the most important missions (henchmen, super agent) all require multiple missions
So say you want to hire a henchman. You need to do all three stages to actually get him so you might as well put it off until the third mission unlocks and do it all in one go. The first mission has you do three world map objectives that take 8 minutes + load and travel time, but thankfully can all be done simultaneously. Then you need to do a base objective like interrogate some tourists. Then you need to do a 8 minute+tax map objective, which unlocks another map objective which progresses into a fight in your base.
This shit all up can take 40+ minutes without any extra bullshit like training up more goons to complete the objective or having your base come under siege by a super agent. And that's just the FIRST stage of a three part mission line, during which you can't do anything else like other henchmen questlines or getting loot items. Some missions can take HOURS with all the extra fricking around you need to do, in particular training up high-end goons which takes fricking ages just for later missions to chew them up by the bushel. I don't even mind long games but there isn't enough interesting shit going on in your base during this waiting time.
yiff in hell furgay
put it this way i liked evil genius 2 as well but its no way a perfect game and has lot anoying things with it that could been done way better.
portal dlc is fun mind love the turruts
So uh... does this game still have the thing where you can get an absurd amount of points for a room but spamming it with certificates on the walls? It's probably just my autism speaking here but it's kinda hard to not min max stuff without making the offices look very unnatural.
>Just don't do it
I know, but is the game fine and beatable like that?
You really don't need the ratings to be that high for people to be happy. Spamming 8 million tooth posters or whatever is just for minmaxers.
If you want to minmax and save room space, then yes. If you want to go for aesthetics then you have to build a bigger room to put in unique furniture.
Schools and hospitals are settings within the two most cucked institutions in modern life. They are the last place I want to be, especially in a video game. This is why I don't bother with this series.
Which is why the university game is full of silly classes that do not resemble the real world in any way anon.
And why all the diseases in Two Point are funny diseases that turn you into a clown or a retro video game character instead of cancer, AIDS, or cancerAIDS.
Hmmm. I dunno. It doesn't glorify the medical industry in any way?
BRUH.
You can make your doctors dress up as Sonic the Hedgehog. Your patients have lightbulbs for heads or delusions that they're Freddie Mercury. And your patients can literally die of having a pan stuck to their head. It's not meant to be taken seriously.
I'll think about it. Thanks for your comments.
Any University with Wizard classes is not cucked, Anon.
>they/them in character bio
Dropped. Sega is pozzed.
>publisher is the same thing as developer
Just what you'd expect from a hyper-pollitical moron
(you/your)
Will give it a pirate, was thinking of doing my yearly run of Theme Hospital but I will try this instead.
Seems a bit too expensive and too loaded with DLC to purchase though.
still wondering why all of the humans in this game look like ugly nightmarish plasticine apes, but in hindsight theme hospital also looked fricking terrifying so maybe they're just living up to their legacy
It's called the Aardman style after the Wallace and Gromit guy, except TPH look really fricking ugly
game inadvertently showed how fricking moronic bong healthcare is
>everything must go through GPs
>both initial diagnosis and later diagnosis
>massive bottleneck
How is this game? Played Theme Hospital back in the day but I don't think I ever played more than 3 levels + the rat level
Is IS Theme Hospital 2, 20 years later just think any QoL that the game industry came up in the last two decades and it is here.
This game has like 30 hospitals in groups of 3 and flip ups one mechanic at a time.
Is the last DLC worth it?
not that fun honestly, the bottle necks in GP make hospital design a pain because you now need like 8 GP offices to try and at least avoid a bottleneck
GPs only bottleneck if you don’t have actual diagnosis buildings organised
Maybe it changed since then but the original game was designed so that the other diagnosis buildings just increased the diagnosis gauge. Patients still needed to go to the fricking GP to then be assigned a treatment, which is why you then had both new patients and long term patients fighting for the same room
It works the same in TPH
No the issue is that people don’t diagnose properly, or train staff properly, so someone’s going
GP > Diagnosis > GP > Diagnosis > GP > Diagnosis > GP > Diagnosis > GP > Treatment.
Instead of
GP > Diagnosis > GP > Treatment
id play theme hospital first, i played it last year for the first time and the game holds up pretty fricking well
Its fun at first but quickly it becomes kind of a chore. Every hospital ends up looking and feeling the same. When you start a new mission especially, it feels like you spend a lot of time just going through the motions to get your hospital started. There's no reason or incentive (or really even much of a way) to make your hospital stand out and feel different, so the game just feels samey after like 15 hours or so.
>through the motions to get your hospital started. There's no reason or incentive (or really even much of a way) to make your hospital stand out and feel different
You can make your hospital staff Sanics.
>TOPIC
Elder detected
>Build the beginner stuff
>Eventually someone comes with a new disease
>Build the required room and then pretty up the hallways
Basically every single level. I quit by the second island.
>Second island
Congrats on missing a shit ton of content.
Anyone played Project Hospital?
Looks like this but autistic. Kind of interested.
Started playing it recently, all the reviews said it was better than the meme hospital.
Really like it so far. Has a comfy Sims feel about it. Some of the management features are a bit basic but the complexity comes in anyway once you add more departments.
Main complaint is that it crashes a lot and im using a high end PC. Have to save quite regularly.
>Realistic portrayal of hospitals
No interest
>not playing the superior hospital management game
It's the same game.
I prefer CorsixTH personally.
Is the game still build a million GP Offices and load every room with millions of certificates?
Sounds just like real life.
How can I send patients to treatment faster? They keep going back to gp
GP and Diagnosis room, set your Diagnosis rate to 85%
>set your Diagnosis rate to 85%
where?
Open the Policy tab
You can send patients for treatment at 85%, you can keep lowering it later as your machines and staff get better
Also you can authorise nurses to send patients straight to treatment
kinda pissed me off you couldn't control the rate of visitors.
ltierally 2/3 of the hospital had to be reception/waiting/GP interview room
If you’re needing that many GPs you’re not diagnosing properly
I did 15 minutes of butthole sunning yesterday and feel supercharged for my week. I didn’t even need coffee this morning, I woke up bright and early with the sunrise ready for my day. Don’t take my word for it, just try it yourself so you can receive and feel the benificial power of the sun through your anus.
Remember to start your week by charging you anus with the power of the sun. Your anus is considered the “Fourth Eye” and it’s directly connected to your “Third Eye” and pineal gland. Absorbing sunlight through your anus is a great way to recharge your whole system. For many people in the world their anus is the seat of their consciousness and their consciousness needs brightening, what better way to brighten your mood by getting light to the darkest area of your body; if more people received nourishing light particles through their anus I believe there would be far less buttholes in the world.
Seriously though, it’s important to love the skin you live in, love your body and love yourself wholeheartedly and unconditionally. Spend time in your natural state in nature feeling the sun on your skin.

If im getting a ton of people, should I just raise the prices?
If you want. Some of them might refuse to pay if prices are too high. I used to do a thing where I lower vending machine orics to encourage people to eat/drink more in busy areas.
>Load game
>error 34
>cmd prompt opens and game crashes
>cpu 100%
>force restart and immediate uninstall
IDK but people that shill here shouldn't have malware in their games, and if you choose to shill here, we will expose the malware in your games
are you me?
Patients are asked not to die in the corridors.
I started playing on the University level and haven't left it because tailoring all my staff to my liking is too addicting
That’ll be every level from now on.
Why hire people with random skills when you can hire someone with zero or specific skills and then train him to do exactly what for need? A GP only needs GP skills, etc
Based.
>Mfw use one giant wing as my research center
>Losing money
>Check my financials
>Electricity bill is super fricking high
Lmao
theme hospital had soul
Don't mind me, just a regular V.I.P.
wish we just had a cleaned up port of theme hospital.
port from pc to pc I guess
there is corsixTH, but the game is also perfectly playable as it is through dosbox
Thanks for reminding me I needed to grab these, Ganker. I have my nostalgia games for ESA week ready to go!
call me when the game is actually cheap and not "lol here's dlc that is multiple times the cost of the game but it's major game mechanics and thus necessary because the '''game''' itself is just a barebones shell" like every paradox game
It’s not like that at all, the DLC is a nothingburger. Ignore it if you don’t want, you won’t notice it
Why did they make the decoration system in the game so weird? All you would do is just spam gold star awards everywhere and got all the prestige
