Nintendo inevitably shut down the Switch's online services, and SV's multiplayer will become unusable. Meanwhile, I can use the Battle Facilities in the older games for as long as I want.

Because it turns out that modern games age even more disgracefully than the last generation. I can play Pokemon Emerald as if it were still 2004, I cannot say the same for Pokemon XY.

The campaign used to be the main focus of these games and PVP an afterthought. Now both are afterthoughts. If you haven't realized thats bad.
The main focus of gen 9 is supposed to be raids. I guess I respect GF for trying something new, since I can always play the old games if I want a battle frontier, idk. But the limited time aspect of raids is definitely pretty lame.
Raids are still broken. Better than whatever programming hell was going on in Sword and Shield, but more like an open beta than final release.

the last battle facility they made was the battle agency and literally no one played that because it was fricking dogshit
if they took its failure as "no one plays these things" instead of "maybe we fricked up by making the worst battle facility since battle palace" then it's not my problem
