Considering it's been 2 years since TOK and they usually make a new game every 3-5 years but it's always 1 game per console, a remaster isn't 100% out of the question but I still highly doubt it since I'm convinced Nintendo and/or Intelligent Systems genuinely hates this game.

If you're not bad at puzzles this battle system actually pretty fun. The best RPG battles are the ones where you get a sense of satisfaction for doing the most optimal strat possible and clearing the encounters flawlessly, and this battle system takes that to the next level by making every encounter have a solution that makes it possible to clear in a single turn. Figuring out that solution is pretty consistently engaging.

This game doesn't need a remaster. It still looks great to this day, it merely needs a porting. i'd be fricking terrified if they redid the art, because i know they'd add the shitty white outline that fricking ruins the artstyle.
