The game is an RPG where you choose your build and style, it may be more game mechanics based but you still are expected to choose a way to play. The people who think it is some difficult impossible game and that they need to grind or use the OP items to figure out a way to win are only meeting the bare minimum of the games skill floor which is actually pretty low by design. And thats totally fine if that is what they enjoy, but to do that then say the game was too boring or easy is just silly.

bleed wasnt even OP unless you dual wielded bleed and used weapons that get 2-3 extra attacks each when you jump/sprint attack with them. Even then you could only delete certain bosses, and others were immune to your gimmick.

They're still good, but the formula is beginning to go stale - especially after Elden Ring.
The next game needs to introduce actual interactive towns, interactive npcs that don't just stand around idle at a hub zone, lore that isn't about some kingdom or nation on the decline, co-op or multiplayer that isn't complete dogshit, or gameplay that isn't just entirely combat-based.
All in all, it's time to take risks in other directions besides throwing the same core game into a fresh new setting with minimal improvements. Sekiro was the right direction in this regard.

DS2 sucks ass as a game, only has a singular boss, the humanity mechanic is needlessly stressful, tying iframes to a stat is completely and utterly moronic, the ambushes are so common they start being boring and predictable and most locations are either unfinished or uninspired on top of all the balancing issues ds1 already had. Still has great atmosphere and despite it being bad, I still had a great time
I don't agree, even the worst bosses don't even come close to the hot slop shit that the moonlight butterfly or BoC is. Deaths have more meaning than just running back to pick your souls up again and agility only filters legitimate brainlets

Covetous Demon and Prowling Magus & Congregation are the two msot embarrassing bosses in any Souls game
Id take moonlight butterfly and bed of chaos any day over copypasting a single boss 50 times. The setback of a death has always been enough as death punishment, thats why I always felt like runbacks work as intended

Whats bad about iframes on a stat is that it makes the core game mechanics inconsistent. If the game is supposed to be challenging, let me have less iframes and help me learn it, instead of allowing me to get sloppy on higher levels while making me clench on lower levels

They're still good, but the formula is beginning to go stale - especially after Elden Ring.
The next game needs to introduce actual interactive towns, interactive npcs that don't just stand around idle at a hub zone, lore that isn't about some kingdom or nation on the decline, co-op or multiplayer that isn't complete dogshit, or gameplay that isn't just entirely combat-based.
All in all, it's time to take risks in other directions besides throwing the same core game into a fresh new setting with minimal improvements. Sekiro was the right direction in this regard.
