This and Metaphor are going to sell like ass in Japan.
What was Atlus thinking?

yeah but can we talk about the price?
Yeah, I saw that. They are out of their goddamn minds with that.
>tendies are now dishonestly whining about muh $70 price as part of their doomposting
I knew that you'd go back to hating Atlus once Persona 3 Reload didn't show up on your precious Nintendo Direct.
$70 for a remake is completely unacceptable. $60 is already ridiculous. 50 max.
And yet you homosexuals bought Tears of the Kingdom without a problem, even though it's essentially a rehash of BotW.
I don't even own a switch.
Anon I think Nintendo gave you brain rot.
What side of the debate are you on or are you just shit flinging.
>tendies
>having standards
>50 max
lmao, tell me 1 remake in the last decade that was under 60$
Metroid Prime, MediEvil
>Metroid Prime
remaster
>MediEvil
never played it or the original, so can't say if remake or remaster
This will not pass Pikmin 4 in sales.
They like a lot of other companies are just gonna wait for the switch 2 next year.
Wrong. Here's a list of Atlus games that flopped on the Switch:
>Catherine Full Body
>Persona 5 Strikers
>Persona 4 Arena Ultimax
>Persona 5 Royal
>Etrian Odyssey
The idea that putting games on Switch is the best option for companies in Japan is nothing more than a myth.
Of course sales are gonna be low if they release it years late.
Why are you guys talking about this game as if its coming this year. Its FEB 2024 chill out homosexuals.
>Year and a half late port for 60 dollars
>Spinoff nobody wanted
>Spinoff nobody wanted
>3 years too late
>80 dollar collection
Stop making moronic decisions then Atlus
>Why is no one buying our overpriced late ports?
>Why is no one buying this spin-off of a game thats not on the switch?
Atlus has to be the most moronic videogame company out there along with Xseed
>Etrian Odyssey
That collection deserved to flop, sadly it killed the series probably.
>Japan sales: Persona 5 900,000, Persona 5 Royal 500,000, Shin Megami Tensei V 190,000
>2. [NSW] Persona 5 Royal – 45,998 / NEW
https://krsw.5ch.net/test/read.cgi/ghard/1644575223/
It's almost like waiting years to port a game to another console at full price hurts sales.
Cool, so Persona 3 Reload should never be ported to Switch or its successor since it'll flop anyway.
Man, I wonder why a late port did not sell as well maybe because it's a late port dipshit.
Bing Bing RPG will sell more.
No one cares about your remakeslop that's only reliant on nostalgia.
And what the frick is this P3 shit. It looks like the same thing nostalgia slop too.
The average third party brain
>How can I test if Nintendo fans will buy my games?
>I know, I'll port an old ass game you can buy for 20 dollars for full price
im gonna buy it and enjoy all of it
>What was Atlus thinking?
frick we hate the switch and it's whiny little b***h fans and we hate porting games to it.
>atlus
>thinking
It's funny how the narrative for P5R on Switch was that it would sell like hotcakes, and now you tendies are saying that it's only natural that it flopped.
Tendies only care if the game IS exclusive. Kodaka knew this, which is why danganronpa threads were constantly boycotted and doomposted until raincode, basically danganronpa4, became switch exclusive, suddenly it wasnt tranime, it was le kino detective game. Tendies are a sect who only care about numbers, see
We are talking abiut chris chans who buy the game and only post numbers. Juat notice how ALL mario rpg threads is about numbers, while at least Persona 5 got threads with people talking about the game
They are probably better getting gamepass money
>Juat notice how ALL mario rpg threads is about numbers
Original SMRPG was a flop btw.
FF16 melts PS5s, I doubt Switch would be able to open it even unless they make a mobile version like they did with 15.
>FF16 melts PS5s
wat
It's a meme but performance issues are appearent. It's scaling itself even down to 720p during combat since it targets 60 fps even in resolution mode. Switch can't handle it without serious downgrades which might as well basically be a different game at that point.
Oh okay I was considering picking the game up but this spooked me a little.
Pikmingays surprised me, always flamewarring
Nintendies are like the least comfy posters which is why I avoid their threads
>that thread
Kek, and then tendies deny they are not the shitposters
Same shit they constantly shit on ff16 and square enix and they would buy ff16 for switch
They'll announce it for Switch 2, don't worry
Good, games that release on shitch have no soul
GamePass money will cover it. Doubt they care.
>tfw Microsoft kills the tendies' hopes of Atlus pandering to them
They’ll sell fine because they’re on PS4.
A game (a Japanese game at that) still releasing on PS4 to me is always a sign that they have no confidence in the sales potential of the PS5 version.
The PS5 isn’t a safe bet in Japan for hardly anything. Look at FFXVI’s sales. Kodaka’s new Not Danganronpa game even outsold it. But The PS4 is in a lot of Japanese homes. This is why we’re so many years out and STILL have cross gen titles.
I love how tendies try proving that a game that isn’t on their platform is actually a win for them
Are you implying switchgays are even interested in 3 in the first place? They only know and want 5 thanks to Smash, and they got it.
Makes no sense, the game doesn't look like it couldn't run on a toaster.
Anon it will go out on Switch. They just delaying it because they want to implement Denuvo Anti Emulation
When it comes to emulation I think the people at brag about it and can't shut up about it and taunt Nintendo that they are pirating games are the ones that will ruin it for everyone and end up fricking themselves some way. This is the least bad outcome.
Japan is PC land, no worry.
For shit like Apex Legends, indie games and Only Up. From Soft titles are the rare exception in the Japanese PC market. Persona, or any Atlus game isn't doing big numbers on PC in Japan.
