To be fair, this really started during a time where Switch didn't have many turn based JRPGs if any at all. Fast forward 3 years since Royal was first revealed, and many more turn based JRPGs have since either been made or came over to the system. P5R certainly isn't alone anymore, but there is an undeniable charm the games have. Even if you're turned off by the "UUH GUH ANIMU" moments P3 and 4 are known for, P5 would actually be right up your alley due to it's distinct lack of it for the most part.

Which is not the case in SMTV, bosses have cutscenes before and after, but most of them are like 1 minute long, if that. Regular battles on the other hand that isn't the case, even if you consider skill animations those can be shortened and there's nothing as long as FF summon animations, nowhere close.

Atlus already released the specs, it's 30fps and it's 720p in portable mode because that's the max resolution of the switch screen and the shadow quality is reduced slightly.
aside from that it basically runs exactly the same as the PS4 version, it might actually look slightly better than the PS4 version due to better color contrast and deeper blacks

GTS made it possible to get everything you want out of a Pokémon game without having to buy multiple games because you could just search and get what you want from other players. I dunno. I only have a PS4 Pro currently and am thinking of upgrading to PS5 just because it will carry over my entire PS4 library. So i don't know if that makes me "snoy" but as long as i get games i really don't care if others get the same games on whatever platform they get.
