Play the PS2 version. It's much closer to the arcade version in terms of graphics .

That was released a decade later, there was nothing that could compare to Die Hard Arcade on the Sega Saturn in 1997

I don't care about the Sega Saturn.
I care about Die Hard Arcade.

The Sega Saturn is a downgrade. The PS2 is the best console port of Die Hard Arcade.

          >I don't care about the Sega Saturn.
          >I care about Die Hard Arcade.
Well let me explain to you something, the sega saturn port was the best port from 1997-2005, Die Hard Arcade on the Sega Saturn was one of the best games ever made.

the arcade machine is a sega saturn, PS2 version is a soulless remake.

No the arcade version used the ST-V board which was based on the Saturn hardware. Other than load times the Saturn versions was basically the same.

You must feel like a huge homosexual after seeing this. But you probably felt like one beforehand anyways.

It's because you're talking to a kid, no doubt. Or an idiot manchild. Start ignoring posters like that and maybe they'll go back to tiktok or spamming the Ganker catalogue with garbage.

I wanted to come back again and remind you that you're wrong:

You must feel like a huge homosexual after seeing this. But you probably felt like one beforehand anyways.

      >The PS2 is the best console port of Die Hard Arcade.
Sounds like something that someone who has buyer's remorse would say. That version sucks, and PS2 owners are mad.

Because Trilogy was more fun, and the Saturn port of Trilogy was garbage

    It's literally perma-seething N64 fans.

It’s not that the Sega Saturn was bad, it’s just that the competition that generation was incredibly good. Personally I think it was the best generation as far as games go.

You can blame a certain group of people constantly obsessing over obscure "gems" while ignoring all of the actual SEGA games on it, who somehow can't believe that SoA and SoJ were in fact both part of the same company (wow!)

It's a little of both imo. Nintendo and SEGA both did better in the previous gen I think. N64 should've had more 2D games, Saturn should've had more actual Sonic and Genesis IP's. PS1 was like the best parts of fourth gen combined with fifth gen technology.

I felt dynamite cop really missed the mark, it's a fine game but not close to Die Hard Arcade.

There were a couple Titan cabs around me that had the game: mall arcade and actual arcade. I like the game too, but I figured Sega games are an acquired taste which just simply does not vibe with contemporary standards. In the past there were more who may have enjoyed the game, but modern audiences have vastly different preferences and the game may no longer conform to the norms of present day. Even in its day the Saturn was unappealing to most, so you may also be in the minority that likes the games as I do.

I have a copy of this somewhere on the saturn.
Like most Saturn games it was garbage, and only lasted for like 19 minutes. Imagine paying 60bucks for a 19 minute game.

Trilogy on the other hand was way too long, also dogshit other than the lightgun game.

      > and only lasted for like 19 minutes. Imagine paying 60bucks for a 19 minute game.
      >Pay 60.bucks.for arcade perfect conversion
      >Arcade operator has to pay 1000 bucks to buy a ST-V board and game
Sounds like a fair deal to me.

Every arcade game is 20-40 minutes long.
Is every arcade game garbage? No most are the best games ever made.

      >Imagine paying 60bucks for a 19 minute game.
Bro wtf. 60 dollars? I could probably beat the whole game on $5 to $10 dollars at the arcade. But 60? Are you purposely sandbagging and dying all the time. That's horrible.

One of my favorite arcade games and Saturn exclusives. And way better than overrated mediocre beat 'em up of same era like Fighting Force.
