Even PS3 remedied itself with plenty of good games and the console itself was great, best blu-ray player at the time, also a multimedia station and if you used a hack, OS. I think it has one exclusive worth playing, and that exlusive is now on PC too. PS5 has no games. I am not going to buy a console to play Returnal. Callipso protocol and GoW 5 are coming to PS4 too. TLOU Part 1 is not TLOU 1 Remake, it is Part 1, it will retcon the original game just like they retconned the original in the sequel. I couldn't care less about Spiderman 2 and Wolverine either.

You'd believe that all those years after MGS4 you'd get something as TECHNOLOGY as Snake throwing up after killing many enemies in a row and remembering Ocelot, or the silly shit you could do with Octocamo. Instead with get God of War, a game that has the worst of every single fricking western game. Quippy dialogue, Destiny inventory, Ubisoft useless collectible galore, combat so clunky and stiff that makes The Witcher 3 look like Ninja Gaiden Black, uninspired art design, etc. I remember when God of War 3 first released, non pretentious straight to the point fun. I'll never forgive Sony for killing Japan Studio, therefore killing Patapon, LocoRoco, even the chance for oddities like Echochrome, Patchwork Héroes or Gravity Rush to see a release.
It's an standardized user interface that lazy western devs love to use. It's sterile and has no personality at all. And that's just the visual part.

However, these new enemies tend to be reused enemies with more health and more attack power, effectively bullet or hit sponges that artificially make the game harder and longer. Most Sony games right now are modeled after the Uncharted series. Why would you want those soft RPG elements in your cinematic thing? There are no menus on walking sims or games like Inside, the menus on Uncharted were pretty much sound, cheats and back to title. Ass Creed games and the like employ these techniques because they give the illusion of a huge game.
