What the frick is shit this. We already have overcome shit like this. It's fine to be a pedophile when it's just jerking off to drawings, no need for the denial arc to return.
If a particular porn damages your brain it's cuck shit.
I used too. Poker stars, it was fun, but now I'm looking after my sister and only do activities with her, maybe I should teach her how to play and do it together
Sorry I meant real money games online are banned in Australia. You can still use apps/programs that have play money. The problem with play money games is that there are no stakes so the game is played completely different
Sites like Juicy stakes still allow Australian players to play. Only thing is that theres little to no rake back and prohibitives fees to withdraw money. Good if you just wanna scratch the itch at lowstakes though,
Is it worth seriously learning poker in the hopes of making money playing online?
I'm from a 3rd world shithole and really hate working, so even a couple hundred dollars a month would mean that I can take significantly less shifts at my dead-end part-time job. For what it's worth, I've dabbled in digital card games like Hearthstone and Legends of Runeterra before with reasonable success (mid-high Legend/Master, i.e. top of the ladder, in both), but never really got into traditional gambling.
Well unlike Hearthstone and LoR, you can't just buy your way to a good deck, you actually have to learn the game and play it well.
If you want to make money online, good luck. Even slightly winning players will lose to the rake, you have to be among the best to make good money
I don't know how to play poker yet I have some interest for it because of Poker Night 1 (mostly because of the TF2 items)
any good resources for learning it?
Seconding this. I also want to learn because my local casino has a poker room and while I don’t want to try to become a wizard or make a living at it, I also don’t want to get fleeced. Also, is the strategy much different for limit poker vs no limit? I like the idea of playing with a smaller bankroll because of the above reasons.

If you don't know the basics play against bots until you do. if you know the basics the best way is to play against other players. there are books but most go way more in-depth than a simple "I don't want to get fleeced". Maybe get Essential Poker Math on libgen?
limit is a completely different game and you'll probably lose more in the long run because it's so tempting to call or even raise with hands that have no business doing so. better to play lower stakes
So I'm out of the loop on sports, I remember a few years ago I would never see any ads pushing for betting on sports but now I see that shit constantly (along with NFT and crypto ads) on anything that doesn't have adblock.
Did something legal change with that so now all the big companies are trying to get people to bet or is it just a sudden spike of interest or something? I don't know shit about betting.
I used to play back when it was actually profitable, as in pre-2010 when everyone was fish and it was easy to just dish out money playing absolutely stock TAG poker. Used to churn out way above average national salary out of this to the point where I was considering ditching university and going full time.
Glad I didn't though as it deteriorated over the next decade considerably to the point where HUD's are illegal on most poker rooms.
Grinding multiple tables at once destroys your attention span though and you will come to the point where you calculate in your head how many dollars will it cost you to go take a leak right now and if you're not doing it too often. Glad that part of my life is over but it was kinda fun

Poker is banned in Australia even if it doesn't involve money?

That's a weird way to call it.

This is how a crippling gambling addiction begins
