So the game is designed to be retroactively playable with the previously purchased content and races; that's the draw. Otherwise no one would want to play it.
And that's literally that because they decided to release the game with the retroactive portion not playable- and when TW:WH2 it took them about a month I believe to get it working?
This is likely to take them around 8 months to 1 year for it to be fully properly implemented.
Also the TW:WH3 campaign right now is essentially just 4 demon factions and 2 human ones and its boring and its not fun.
People are waiting for immortal empires. Game was also released a half-broken mess, like all Total war games (this is not a justification, I stopped playing myself because of this shit).
2 had a shitty main campaign, saved by the mortal empires and their B team that handles the DLCs (unlike the A team that did the main campaign they actually understand what the players want).
While the B team was fixing their game, the A team, having learned absolutely nothing by the main campaign in 2 that absolutely no one played, proceeded to do the same exact thing again, but somehow even more annoying and frustrating.
Hopefully immortal empires campaign will save the game, and B team will move over and start making actually good stuff in form of DLCs.
unfinished. reintroduced bugs because its based on an older build. lacking the main content people want to play. which wont be done for like a year by the smaller dlc team it got dumped on to fix everything.
Actually it is bad. But it's made much, much worse by its mario party garbage campaign. I don't understand how these morons didn't realize 95% of their playerbase just wants to paint the map their color. Honestly 3 never should have existed, it should have just been DLC expansions until they had the entire warhammer map and all of the races plus whatever cool OC donutsteel stuff they wanted to do with cathay, khuresh and ind. Because most people didn't mind them making up shit, just make up cool shit not some shitty board game overlay for the campaign system that you've been running with for 20 years, that everyone enjoys.
I own the game, I had a good amount of fun with it. Currently waiting for ME because there's only so much fun you can have with 8 factions and a limited map.
It was rushed and released in an unfinished state. The updates for Immortal empires (which connects TW1, TW2 and TW3) look very promising, but it should've been almost done on release.
They made their money on it I guess, but just imagine if the game was free-to-play with big updates and microtransactions. Could have been the biggest game since OG WoW.
>free-to-play
Will be filled with shitty thirdworlders who would do nothing but drag down the quality of the game. F2P games are shit, and you know that.
Let's say it was a full million for a full $60 each, that's $60mil. With Steam's cut that gets reduced down to $42mil.
Now let's make a very rough estimate for how many people likely worked on the game and for how long, let's say 300 people for 3 years. Each person might get an average salary of $150k. In total, that would be $45mil of paid salary for employees that worked on a game that only brought back $42mil. In this scenario it wouldn't have even broken even, and we aren't even taking into account the cost for facilities and equipment and marketing.
The upfront cost of the game was never meant to pay for it, the in-game cash shop was supposed to make up the rest. But you can't do that when most of your players have quit. That's why this is a blunder and $60mil really isn't all that much.
Amazon is based in Seattle, that's what devs are paid out here, probably even more.
im neither of you but new world dev team is in california, so it could cost a lot
but they also definitely outsourced support and potentially a lot of asset stuff so I dunno
this is assuming you're part of amazon's sales software engineer (the people who run the actual trillion dollar site) not their gaming division who most likely gets paid way less.
Here's a listing for a senior position in their games department. That's just base pay too. You get stocks and decent bonus on top of that.

It's not actually that high of a position. It's generally 2 levels above the lowest position. You should be the equivalent of a senior engineer at a company like that within 5 years. In any case, that base salary is almost identical to what levels.fyi lists for Amazon's senior software engineer, so I don't know what you think you're arguing here.

please never get a job that involves anything beyond addition and subtraction
I would have gone with Amazon prime bonuses if I were them, but maybe Amazon told them to frick off they didn't want their service sullied by that sht.
Square Enix spent 10s of millions on licensing fees and made fricking Kamala Khan the central protagonist. They've lost 200mil in total to this moronic blunder.
>adds spiderman and he swings like absolute shit and make his movement not fun >spiderman comes to fortnite and they add swinging better and can attach to vechiles to ski around and whatnot
How the hell did a BR game did a better job at being spiderman than the actual avenger game?
Because despite what Ganker would have you believe and whatever you feel about the player base aside, Fortnite is stupidly well done, maintained, and consistently updated. Unironically the best BR on the market now that no-build mode is permanent
>PUBG where 50% of the players are bots, 40% of the players are chinks, and 99% of players are using hacks
Yeah man totally great game. PUBG was good during the pre-1.0 beta test realm and that's about it.
If you ignore the fact it's the latest Battlefield game, and that it peaked at 100k... 6-8k players is not that bad. You should still be able to find people to play with.
What's funny is that it has less players than Battlefield 5 AND Battlefield 1.
Would probably be higher if it wasnt priced so badly. They want 70 dollars for it? When a lot of people already paid 60 or so for it on the console? Frick that. If it was 20 bucks or around there people would have bought it. Also doesnt count anyone dumb enough to have bought it on epic store.
>game took 2 years to release on steam >that'll be $69.99 + tax + tip please
do they think that shit will work if they decide to do the same thing with kingdom hearts, stranger of paradise and nu-twewy
>old as frick >extremely overpriced >fresh off not one, not two but THREE exclusivity deals expiring to allow it to be put on this platform
Even a good game would probably not survive this situation, and 7R is a shitty game on top. Those 13k sales were on the FF7 brand alone, from fanatics or people who didn't yet know what a shitshow this is even after two years of it having come out.
>steamcharts got started in 2013 >original was SEVEN YEARS OLD when its data started being recorded >peak playercount is still higher than the pozzed remaster
I know lawbreakers hung on for a little while by everybody getting in discord to plan matches so maybe.
But then you will only need 2 people for a game of artifact and ping won't matter.
Was a shock to me when I learnt as well, I guess the entire fanbase is contained within the Ganker threads
Or is there some patreon only build people are playing instead or something?
It's a singleplayer mostly linear TPS with zero marketing other than the blatant shill threads, and story updates are months apart so there aren't any big peaks.
one thing that comes up in almost every thread is: >I wont buy it because I dont want my friends think I`m a pedo"
and then anon learns how to hide games on steam which also hides it from stats.
>I-I don't even care about the game
Sure. Just like you're not even the dev, or don't even have pedo shit open on another monitor while you work on a shit update that won't do anything to increase your double digit player count lmao.
Again, take your meds and stop inventing scenarios.

Wait what the frick? I thought it's some obscure porn game, but it's that shooter with e-girl MC. I see threads about it here literally every day. So this is true power of schizo shills....
The threads never talk about the gameplay because they're made by the dev and his discord shills, and they know the actual game part of it is shit. Not that protag is cute though. She looks like a fricking goblin.
Some of those are, but not the ones dedicated to that game. That girl is ugly as shit, you can't possibly think the people posting about the cute blonde Pragmata e-girl are the same ones posting about that goblina.
Nobeta doesn't need shilling, it sold hundreds of thousands already and has a successful patreon. Goblinism is the one that can't manage a playercount higher than 26 after 3 years of constant shilling lmao.
Uuuoooahh posting I think is natural because blowing rope to e-girl is not new nor exclusive to Ganker. Onrism and I suspect Nobeta is being actively skilled by the creator.
I knew this was gonna flop but I really thought as shit as they are the game freak name would hold at least a bit of Pedigree and I never would have imagined it flopping THAT hard.
>give pokemon to another company
???
it's not like Nintendo owns the IP and can do what they want with it. The IP is split 3 ways, with Nintendo owning the lowest share (32%)
No, because Nintendo wouldn't allow it. Despite owning the lowest amount of shares overall, Nintendo has a decent chunk of shares of both Creatures and Gamefreak (the other 2 companies that hold the other 68%), which is why Nintendo only owns 32% and not 33%.
It's one of those things where it's basically just easier for all parties involved if Pokemon games are only on Nintendo devices (and I guess Mobile now, since JP doesn't consider mobile games a direct competitor to tradtional console games)
I'm glad this game bombed not just because it actually deserved to bomb with how atrocious it was but also because Capcom homosexuals (read SF and Marvel players) needed some humbling experience in the FGC
I still play the first one local with my nephews on occasion. Really fun doing local teams or local FFA. The simplistic graphics turned them off at first but after a few rounds they basically had rabies and were determined to learn how to disarm each other every chance they could. Really fun times.
Single player indie game has low player count? Shocking. It's actually a good game and I can just sit back and relax while I try to get the fastest time I can. But I also like these types of games.
I watched morbius 3 times on it
also lmao at it getting rereleased in theaters and bombing a second time because sony thought memes would carry over to tickets
I actually wanted to see it in cinema the first time but never got round to it and still didn't feel any desire to see the re release lmao. I then later watched a comedic synopsis that made it sound pretty shit so I never made any attempt to see even a pirate stream.
It's not awful but its like one of those early 2000s superhero movies, except they also trimmed as much of it as they could so it has a lot of abrupt cuts, scenes that could exist almost anywhere in the movie, and plot hooks that go nowhere
like an example, there's an annoying detective who exists and somehow has superhuman abilities that is never explained. like morbius vampire jumps up 30 flights of stairs, and the detective somehow gets to him on the top floor before he can fly away or escape or something. apparently he was supposed to have a robotic arm and shit but they just cut that entire shit out.
jared leto's acting is also shit, and the vampire transformation is just permanently turning on that face of bilbo baggins from LOTR doing a jumpscare
Judging by the dinosaur nerds on Twitter I think they're just happy to get anything with a dinosaur in it.
A noble pursuit, it's just a shame they're a few rungs away from furries.
Every so often I check in on that The Isle dinosaur game and it seems Dino Nerds are happy so long as they can frolic about as Whateversaurus, actual gameplay or development be damned.

Because Valve send them that information, if you didn't know this they control Steam and can easily make it look like a billion players is playing a game.

so by that logic this whole thread is pointless because all the numbers are possible lies
2 years ago

My guess is that it made them look bad to have their real numbers compared against everyone else's inflated numbers. It's not as if all these other games make their player numbers widely available in anyway. Blizzard has been caught lying about user numbers numerous times.
The biggest difference is >Muh player numbers
Isn't used to try to justify people play their games. They do that with gameplay. Blizzard just uses ass and lemming mindset.
>Searching for posts with the image hash ‘9Q1p6XS4CMojgaI38p9HsA==’. 81 results found.
Did you change the imagefile again, troony? I've seen one of these image with 400+ posted, another with 300+ and so on.
What an earth causes such behaviour? If I don't like a game, I just don't play it, what causes multiple people to actively go out of their way to make negative threads about it on Ganker?
It was a guy making up a fake conversation so he could spam that image in EVERY single Elden ring thread to deflect any kind of criticism.
It's pretty much the go to tactic for shills now, they make up some fake scenario like a "discord group leak" that says they are raiding the site....then they spam this in every single thread or any time someone has any negative opinions on the game.
Shills refuse to actually try and talk about the negative things in their game, instead now they just spam these images to deflect any criticism instead of actually discuss the game. You will see this more and more.
And you refuse to aknowledge the severe autism this board had about the game.
The game is flawed, yes. It is by means no masterpiece yet it is still a good game.

To be fair, Elden Ring was cancer by flooding Ganker for months and making other discussions inpossible.
It's the same shit with every popular normalgay game.
There will always be autist when there is a super popular game. It happened with Cyberpunk. It happened with Breath of the Wild. It happened to Elden Rings.
I always said the same thing about TORtanic.
The downside to any truly spectacular game flop is that there will inevitably be some autists who desperately want it to happen again to continue the good times, but they also confuse cause and effect. They believe that if they rain dance (shitpost) hard enough, they can make it happen themselves.

>TORtanic
That shit completely ruined Ganker. For practically every single new AAA game that comes out there's always a handful of autistic dipshits that try to make it the new TORtanic (now Shazam) and it's fricking awful.

Nobody should ever hope a game is bad. Why would you? If it's good you can enjoy it and have fun. It just makes sense to want every game to be good.
People that want every game to fail are not gamers to me. They are anti-fun loving gays and nothing but.
Why do you have no actual proof in the first place? The image he made in response is making fun of your blatantly faked image. The fact that you spammed it for months just makes it even more pathetic.
why would he call it an edit if not to imply the one he posted was the original (which, as already stated, it isn't)?
it's a shame that no one takes actual ER criticism seriously, but that's a hole shazamtroons dug themselves
So after several months you still have no actual proof of a discord group or raid? This picture consists first of a pic of a bot. Which anyone can make. Easily . Second and third pic anyone could fake right now. Just change profile pic and name. You show no discord ids. You show no server. You show no members list.
It's hilarious how blatantly obvious you guys are. You're basically the only ones that ever reply to this picture, and you always say the same "YEAH WELL YOU CANT BACK IT UP ANY MORE THAN THE PROOF YOUVE ALREADY PROVIDED!"
It's blatant that you're part of the group that got caught on discord organizing anti-ER raids and you're butthurt as frick over the success of the game. Just move on with your life already, everyone else has.
>Learn to exploit their ignorance and hubris to make them humiliate themselves.
I'd rather just not engage with them other than in an occasional random post calling them out on their blatant bullshit. Calling one out post that I see out of 50+ isn't that big of a deal in the grand scheme of things.
However, replying to them and baiting them to "show how stupid they are" is quite literally exactly what they want - bringing more (and constant) attention to them and whatever they're shilling. Hubris indeed.
>Bots that are like real humans in difficulty
lmao are you fricking kidding
you get a bot in a ranked match on your team you auto lose
The game's a fricking mess. 343 shouldn't just be shut down, they should all be killed
It's genuinely just Robotron/Gauntlet with no level or enemy pattern design, giving you an absolutely overpowered kits so dopamine hits. The freaking Hoe-girlve ripoff, Holocure, is much better
in defense of it, of course it's going to be extremely console heavy, its both a fighting game and a game that while having nostalgic elements for older teens and young adults, is still a kids game
why are people posting single player games? i would expect single player games to not have as high of a player count period and to be much lower than what it was at release
>optional
they still are the reason why so many people are still playing the game. give a look on the player activity for souls games on PC on the months before and after the servers were taken down because of the possible bug and you'll see
So? Multiplayer is still optional and not a core mechanic that you need to progress in the main story. Multiplayer in souls games are a bonus nothing more and nothing else.
Personally I keep playing it because I enjoy playing other builds and because I love to easily handle bosses after knowing their patterns.

>So?
so saying it's not a multiplayer game when it has multiplayer elements that are 90% of the reason why people still play the game is silly. it would probably have two times more people if the pvp was better
ER has the weakest multiplayer in the series.
No covenants, no way to invade solo hosts, disconnects after two minutes.
It's mostly a single player game, they've even introduced ashes that are basically single player summons.
The multiplayer is optional and very poorly designed to the point it seems an afterthought that they added very late in development so autists wouldnt reeeeeeee at them for not adding online.
>implying
This shit is like 100+ hours long 80% of which are filler.
Most people played it once tops, if you look at the achievement you'll probably see that the majority probably didn't even bother finishing it.
>if you look at the achievement you'll probably see that the majority probably didn't even bother finishing it.
If you look at the achievements for nearly every game out there you'll see that the majority didn't bother finishing it. People that actually finish a game are in the vast minority of gamers. Except for Sony first party "movie" games, for whatever reason those things have insanely high completion rates compared to other similar AAA games
Skyrim also has a frickton of mods for more casual players, while most mods for Elden Ring just make it harder. Only well known one that doesn't is the seamless co-op.

Lmao. Soivers actually thought it was going to stay a main game. Then when it died under a year they desperately try to act like it is suppose to happen and it is good it died.
That's what I figured regarding multiplayer Paradox games but I don't think that the multiplayer is why it's so huge in player numbers, which is surprising because the game looks like autism at first sight

yeah but 95% of MMOs fricking flop hard by the first 6 months. they are lucky to last more than 2 years.
It is doing a lot worse now than 4 years ago. It used to average 100k players and be in the top 5 on steam. Very slow updates, which mostoy only included increasingly annoying grinds and lack of endgame content killed the hype a lot.
No its not, the frick are you talking about?
Achievement is not progression.
B4B literally got character levels, skills and card collectible in their vanilla game.
The moment their players realized that all of thoose are boring and shit the player number start dwindling down.
their numbers and API are so accurate and open that people were able to create exact sales numbers for games until they shut that one loophole down, kek
I swear some of these unpopulated multiplayer games that have like 2 or 3 people playing are the Mafia using it to communicate to each other or some shit
A lot of these are moronic because the games were originally launched on different platforms or it's a single player game with no replayability/big mods so of course it's going to die. It amazes me how some people on Ganker think Steam is the only way to play games. Literal zoomers.
lets be honest do you think ever played with more than one thousand or two thousand different unique players? a game having a pop of 10000 or 100000 doesnt make much difference
Well for a single player game that's on every other platform and GOG, especially one with a smaller fan base, I'd say 2-3k people playing through steam at any given time isn't too bad
numbergays are just built different than regular humans. like on /vt/ one of the most popular threads is one where they just compare numbers between different streamers all day long. it's fricked

Mordhau was good
But devs were too slow and so adamantly against the idea of letting fans have any control
took them years to release an SDK and there has been NOTHING to incentivize using it. No contests, no community maps have been taken into official servers, nothing. And of course, matchmaking in a game with such a small playerbase is fricking disgusting.
>release an SDK and there has been NOTHING to incentivize using it. No contests, no community maps have been taken into official servers, nothing
This is such a brainlet homosexual zoomer take that you need to remove yourself from Ganker and never remove.
The point of map making and mod making is to do it. It's not to win contests or money or clout on official servers. This kind of "what's the point" attitude has directly lead to the stagnation of the industry for decades.
People that want to play objective maps play on official servers. People that want to duel and roleplay play on custom maps. What if you want to make an objective map? Who is your audience? Who is going to look for a server that offers this, let alone find it?
I was on a server where they were running Castle Wars. Nevermind how it's fricking CTF, a game type Mordhau doesn't naturally have, it's god damn Castle Wars and it works great. The server has died because nobody plays it and relied on scheduled events out of a Discord. The map was wonderful, but because matchmaking feeds players into official servers where design has been going into the shitter and those that don't want objective modes go straight to duel servers and minecraft random weapon FFA, custom obj servers can not exist because there's nobody playing them. You make these custom maps for a portfolio, to talk about things you've made, not for anybody to enjoy. Without anybody to play them, you can't even test them properly.
Matchmaking was a mistake and runs completely counter to a creative community environment.
I believe this includes Chinese players while most games don't, but I could be wrong. Also bots aren't a thing in this game moron, in-game bots yes but not like the bots you see in TF2.
I played this game from the first week of Early Access till about a year ago.
It was flooded with bots way back then, it's flooded with bots now.
Easy way to tell if your game is full of bots - let the game auto-eject you from the plane and watch as there's 20-30 players in nearly every single match that are AFK bots.
I suppose they MIGHT have fixed it in the last year since I quit, but considering it's been a massive issue the game has faced since they added loot crates to the marketplace, and was still a massive issue when I quit, I doubt it's actually been fixed.
lmao frick off you clown
the producer literally talks about how it's a problem
there were even articles written about it in top tier gaming outlets like pcgame
https://www.pcgamer.com/pubg-afk-farming/
as well as literally just typing in "pubg bot farm" into youtube and having thosuands of videos of people farming BP off afk bots.
>in-game bots
bots spawned in by the game, like if you played a match of quake with bots >not like the bots you see in TF2
free to play accounts being automated by an outside program
He's saying that in PUBG there are AI/bots in game to pad out the player count, similar to how your first couple of matches in other BR games put you against nothing but AI/bots, but there are NOT bots by the way of someone macroing/hacking to automate their character in game.
Which is total cope, the game is festering with bots, both AI/in game, and player controlled/out of game.
>all these homies posting games with like 5k players
as someone who is excited when I find out a cool indie multiplayer game has like 500 players this comes off as just pathetic. As long as there is enough of a playerbase to get into a game regularly then what the frick is the problem.
I remember seeing gameplay of this and thinking it was the most design-by-committee game possible. It was like it was tailor made to be a shitty streamer game that'd be dropped as soon as their contracts ran out.
It sounds like something that came out like 7 years ago and that nobody played, really the worst thing about the game is the name.
Devs are floundering now though, I guess they have a decent playerbase but new sales are diminishing. If you ask me, they need a large content push before the holidays, expansion pack level of stuff to market.
Instead they decided to tease a worse version of the ingame premium currency store.
Some random indie L4D knockoff with 70s retro-future aesthetics. Looks interesting enough in the trailers but nothing I'd ever actually pay for. If it was on a game pass or Timmys Freebies I'd probably download it and frick around with it for a weekend with the homies and then never think about it again (ala WWZ)
Fun fact for those that didn't play it.
The game launched in early access with a cash shop on day 1.
Legitimately, not remotely shitposting or memeing, at least 15-20% of the games map was unfinished, with random greyscale blockouts for where certain buildings would be, or first run throughs of a house where it's just a bunch of grey shapes with zero texturing or skins applied.
And it wasn't like this was contained into one small portion of the map. You'd go into a neighborhood and inbetween two fully finished houses would just be a gray shape that somewhat resembled a basic house shape with basic walls but no doors or features or texturing.
It was really fricking bizarre and clearly a last ditch move to get some more funding. I've never experienced anything remotely close to that in gaming (outside of games that are essentially shitposting in video game form created by 1 or 2 people)
As someone who liked and played it for quite awhile I think it just doesn't gel with western players. It's Chinese popularity too ended up dictating how content was made and version differences are pretty matched to area audiences except the English one still isn't though they have just started trying to change it from what I've heard (Quit a bit after Sirocco raid.) Time investment is pretty high for a new player trying to spend as little real money as possible.
it wasn't that people played it
game journos just talked it up as a 10/10 like every single site
they praised every aspect of it and it 100% did hurt the industry
oof
Why is the new one bad?
It's not bad, it just doesn't have Mortal Empires yet.
>I own the game
You own nothing.
I own your mom's pussy, b***hboy
And I'm happy.
Your point?
It was rushed and released in an unfinished state. The updates for Immortal empires (which connects TW1, TW2 and TW3) look very promising, but it should've been almost done on release.
I'm just playing other games until the immortal empires beta releases
Hopefully the chaos warrior rework is fun
Wasn't Warhammer 2 made free for a while? Would make sense for it to have more players if that was the case.
I'm just waiting for IE to migrate.
They made their money on it I guess, but just imagine if the game was free-to-play with big updates and microtransactions. Could have been the biggest game since OG WoW.
>free-to-play
Will be filled with shitty thirdworlders who would do nothing but drag down the quality of the game. F2P games are shit, and you know that.
>a game where almost a million players paid 60 dollars each is hilarious to OP
thinkin' OP is moronic
Actually I goofed hard in my math, for 3 years of that scenario it would be 135mil paid in salaries. That makes it much, much worse.
Average salary of 150k? You out of your fricking mind?
Amazon is based in Seattle, that's what devs are paid out here, probably even more.
im neither of you but new world dev team is in california, so it could cost a lot
but they also definitely outsourced support and potentially a lot of asset stuff so I dunno
Not at all. That's probably an underestimate. https://www.levels.fyi/?compare=Amazon,Facebook,Google&track=Software%20Engineer
this is assuming you're part of amazon's sales software engineer (the people who run the actual trillion dollar site) not their gaming division who most likely gets paid way less.
Here's a listing for a senior position in their games department. That's just base pay too. You get stocks and decent bonus on top of that.
>senior
so one person not the average employee
It's not actually that high of a position. It's generally 2 levels above the lowest position. You should be the equivalent of a senior engineer at a company like that within 5 years. In any case, that base salary is almost identical to what levels.fyi lists for Amazon's senior software engineer, so I don't know what you think you're arguing here.
>$60mil really isn't all that much.
the absolute state of this fricking board i swear
homie New World easily cost more than double that amount.
Also new world wasnt a $60 game. It launched at 30 bucks.
The all time high concurrent player count doesn't represent how many people bought the game moron.
New World sold 5mil copies its first month of sales... What the frick are you smoking?
Where are they based off that they don't even have to pay tax?
>Gamedev
>Avg 150k salary
AHAHAHAHAHAHAH
please never get a job that involves anything beyond addition and subtraction
post sega's mmo numbers
That's just as much on Microsoft as it is Sega
and can't forget the million players on xbox!
Best part is that troony community manager lied in a interview saying that the major update last month brought in so many players.
You talkin about puzzle pirates?
THE BEST PART IS THEY'RE STILL UPDATING IT...
>copevengers
they have twitch drops for this currently as well
I would have gone with Amazon prime bonuses if I were them, but maybe Amazon told them to frick off they didn't want their service sullied by that sht.
nah they have prime bonuses too
Square Enix spent 10s of millions on licensing fees and made fricking Kamala Khan the central protagonist. They've lost 200mil in total to this moronic blunder.
You love to see it. Capeshit is a cancer of this era's culture.
That's almost impressive actually to flop that spectacularly.
>they tried to sell XP boosts after making the XP grind worse
>and after saying all the MTX would be cosmetic
hilarious. utter desperation
>adds spiderman and he swings like absolute shit and make his movement not fun
>spiderman comes to fortnite and they add swinging better and can attach to vechiles to ski around and whatnot
Dumb moron PUBG is better.
>PUBG where 50% of the players are bots, 40% of the players are chinks, and 99% of players are using hacks
Yeah man totally great game. PUBG was good during the pre-1.0 beta test realm and that's about it.
I just logged on yesterday to my level 38 and there was a queue. Granted, it was a 3 person queue but still.
Amazed there's still that many
it's morons grinding out the battle pass
Ah I can understand that, the desire to get the most out of what you paid for.
If you ignore the fact it's the latest Battlefield game, and that it peaked at 100k... 6-8k players is not that bad. You should still be able to find people to play with.
What's funny is that it has less players than Battlefield 5 AND Battlefield 1.
words words words
That's 6,500 players too many
This is up-to-date? Its got a higher active playerbase than I thought.
It got an expansion recently, so i'd assume it was that.
HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAH
Would probably be higher if it wasnt priced so badly. They want 70 dollars for it? When a lot of people already paid 60 or so for it on the console? Frick that. If it was 20 bucks or around there people would have bought it. Also doesnt count anyone dumb enough to have bought it on epic store.
It has been on sale for like 30% off since launch till like yesterday. Still too much though.
Eh, this one looks normal for an RPG
Tales of arise had bigger numbers, that's just fricking sad
>game took 2 years to release on steam
>that'll be $69.99 + tax + tip please
do they think that shit will work if they decide to do the same thing with kingdom hearts, stranger of paradise and nu-twewy
>old as frick
>extremely overpriced
>fresh off not one, not two but THREE exclusivity deals expiring to allow it to be put on this platform
Even a good game would probably not survive this situation, and 7R is a shitty game on top. Those 13k sales were on the FF7 brand alone, from fanatics or people who didn't yet know what a shitshow this is even after two years of it having come out.
>13k sales
Add a zero to the end of that and you're getting closer to the actual number.
Yeah, I meant 13k players, not sales.
It's probably more than it had official sales on EGS for all the six months it was stuck there, at least.
That's pretty good for such an old game tbh
>easy mode
>doesn't post the easiest pick of all time
Didn't it make the news for dropping to 1 player?
Journalists dont like bringing up how hard Platinum has fallen. Same reason nobody talked abiut Sol Cresta.
What exactly possessed Platinum to believe the people who said they would totally buy this April fool's joke for real
Nobody talks about Sol Cresta because it's a shmup, the vast majority of journos don't have a clue about the genre
Post Halo.
>steamcharts got started in 2013
>original was SEVEN YEARS OLD when its data started being recorded
>peak playercount is still higher than the pozzed remaster
This series is exactly my generation and we knew it was shit even then. We only played it because it was installed on the school PCs
>remaster also came out on GOG
yeah no shit people aren't playing it on steam
None of (You) play these games
What is your favourite game
It's not been posted but I played and enjoyed radical heights.
Bros, I think the floor doesn't exist...
DIdn't they kill this game off?
Yeah, effectively. But it's still relatively funny that they fricked it so bad.
they should have known when they announced it to a room full of die-hard fans and they started booing.
That type of tone-deafness is only eclipsed by Blizzard
>11
>29
do you think there's a discord group out there dedicated to playing artifact while literally everyone left?
I know lawbreakers hung on for a little while by everybody getting in discord to plan matches so maybe.
But then you will only need 2 people for a game of artifact and ping won't matter.
Somebody post the pasta
Nice
>could have been the best TCG
JUST
26 all-time peak? this cant be right
Was a shock to me when I learnt as well, I guess the entire fanbase is contained within the Ganker threads
Or is there some patreon only build people are playing instead or something?
It's a singleplayer mostly linear TPS with zero marketing other than the blatant shill threads, and story updates are months apart so there aren't any big peaks.
>26 all-time peak?
It's probably the dev and 25 alt accounts. homosexual can't stop shilling his goblina here
Man despite seeing that game pop up all the time here I knew it was just being shilled by either the dev or some nutcase fan. 26 is pathetic
how the frick. i see threads for this game all the time
one thing that comes up in almost every thread is:
>I wont buy it because I dont want my friends think I`m a pedo"
and then anon learns how to hide games on steam which also hides it from stats.
jesus christ this is fricking embarrassing. I would unironically kill myself if I played this game.
Imagine playing this shit game and knowing you're the only one. How does the dev cope with having made such a flop?
I fricking knew this pedo shit was being legit shilled here. Mods need to ban it from the site.
How many more times is the one schizo going to respond to this post?
>goblin dev mad because more people hate his pedobait game than actually play it
lol
lmao
I don't even care about the "game" but you seriously need to take your meds.
>I-I don't even care about the game
Sure. Just like you're not even the dev, or don't even have pedo shit open on another monitor while you work on a shit update that won't do anything to increase your double digit player count lmao.
Again, take your meds and stop inventing scenarios.
>n-no I'm not shilling my own game here and getting my discord to bump the threads
Who do you think you're fooling anymore? We have cold hard numbers.
Constant threads for a game that doesn't even break 30 players? You've been exposed you shill homosexual. What's wrong, did reddit ban you for being a pedo so you came here? Frick off.
You are seriously mentally ill, how do you even function in everyday life?
More like how do you function knowing you spent 3 years on a pedobait non game only a couple dozen players max lmao.
Better than another thread about fricking ubisoft game, can't wait november where there 10 threads about that fricking pirate game.
>it's okay for pedo dev to shill his pedo shit because ubisoft does it!
Go back to your pedo game discord goblin shill.
Not him but I would rather have a thousand goblinism threads over just 1 globohomosexual thread.
Looks like the goblinism discord is here. Too bad there's not enough of you to actually make a difference lmao.
I never cared for onirism, but I will bump the threads just to take a piss on you.
Your game will never break 30 players.
I don't even like goblinism because it's Western shit. I just dislike globohomosexual more.
>I-I don't even like goblinism
>but
I see you goblin shill.
>seeing text that doesn't exist
Meds.
>globorism
Steamdb estimates Onirism is owned by at least 6 thousand people.
She looks like a fricking goblin.
and people think uoh threads are naturall and part of vee culture
It's clearly the pedo dev shilling here. He's been at it for 3 years and can't even manage to get his game to 100 players at the very least lmao.
Some of those are, but not the ones dedicated to that game. That girl is ugly as shit, you can't possibly think the people posting about the cute blonde Pragmata e-girl are the same ones posting about that goblina.
This.
Pedorisim dev is clearly trying to cash in on actual popular games like nobeta, except his game is shit and the girl is ugly as frick.
Meant for
Dont even need a chart for this one
Really.
I knew this was gonna flop but I really thought as shit as they are the game freak name would hold at least a bit of Pedigree and I never would have imagined it flopping THAT hard.
bruh i didn't even know this was on steam LMAO
They really need to give pokemon to a different company, they're carried so fricking hard by the brand
>give pokemon to another company
???
it's not like Nintendo owns the IP and can do what they want with it. The IP is split 3 ways, with Nintendo owning the lowest share (32%)
Doesn't that mean they could go multiplat theoretically?
Shilled by DUNKEY and he couldn't even get sales on that shit- Holy frick that's sad.
Who knows how well it sold on the Switch
$35 for a fricking indy mirrors edge timing thing-
no thanks, miss me with that shit. $10 is likely a yes, and 15 is a maybe
you just reminded me of the king of JUST FRICK MY SHIT UP
what the frick happened
ITS CALLED AN ARTSTYLE OK
literally soul/souless
I still play the first one local with my nephews on occasion. Really fun doing local teams or local FFA. The simplistic graphics turned them off at first but after a few rounds they basically had rabies and were determined to learn how to disarm each other every chance they could. Really fun times.
Damn doesn't even have a dude fencing in the image just a fricking worm
This was in an indie world so maybe it at least did better on switch, but it was a long period between that presentation and release
>3.2k peak is supposedly bad for literal who indie
You morons never cease to amaze me.
It's 20 and oh sorry that some people have individual taste and don't just do whatever the most people do.
Dunkey is such a homosexual
>making fun of a game that actually really good
frick you Black person
That seems pretty good for an indie title though.
Good, frick the people that made it.
hope they haven't broken even after blowing budget on overused voice actors and cutscenes
it sold well and is still played
you sound like a jelly wannabe game dev
Single player indie game has low player count? Shocking. It's actually a good game and I can just sit back and relax while I try to get the fastest time I can. But I also like these types of games.
Seum
Deadcore
Lovely Planet
All fun.
>there are more people watching artifact on twitch than playing the fricking game on steam
>Watching Artifact
People are using the Artifact section to stream shows, movies and sometimes porn.
But why, is it more loosely moderated than Just Chatting?
I think there was a bit of a meme regarding doing that at some point and people still do it
I watched morbius 3 times on it
also lmao at it getting rereleased in theaters and bombing a second time because sony thought memes would carry over to tickets
So does he say 'it's morbin time' or not?
no, he does say "I am venom" though
Sanna <3
Some anti-charts?
Who knew this game did so well?
That new Terminator game I guess?
The new movies are garbage yet the game seems pretty successful. Probably the same with that Jurassic World game.
Played this recently, it was pretty fun although kinda misses the point of the movies lol. Would recommend to fellow dino autists
Well, it's a fun game. The sequel sucks, wait for the third game.
>even in its sorry semi-abandoned state, TF2 is still firmly in the top10, 15 years later
Legendary.
That's only because of botting.
That's bots and Valve inflating the numbers
You know there are other ways to play TF2 that isn’t Casual mode, right?
Yeah 24/7 2fort/hightower
>this uneducated trite again
Teamwork tf grabs player numbers from a single time instant. Steam API polls all players from a full hour interval. No shit the latter will be several times higher.
>Valve's own in-game numbers lie!!
>trust this third party site instead, goy
So if valve is supposedly pushing their own playercount to make the game look less dead, why would their own counter show less players than the third-party site? Doesn't make any sense
>why would their own counter show less players than the third-party site? Doesn't make any sense
Why do you think they stopped showing those numbers in their games....
Why is the third-party site partaking in inflating valves numbers?
Because Valve send them that information, if you didn't know this they control Steam and can easily make it look like a billion players is playing a game.
so by that logic this whole thread is pointless because all the numbers are possible lies
My guess is that it made them look bad to have their real numbers compared against everyone else's inflated numbers. It's not as if all these other games make their player numbers widely available in anyway. Blizzard has been caught lying about user numbers numerous times.
The biggest difference is
>Muh player numbers
Isn't used to try to justify people play their games. They do that with gameplay. Blizzard just uses ass and lemming mindset.
>uneducated trite
You mean to say "tripe". Trite is an adjective, not a noun.
Game?
Sounds like elden ring
>Reviews are mixed due to Ganker community campaign against the game
Well now isn't this true?
>Searching for posts with the image hash ‘9Q1p6XS4CMojgaI38p9HsA==’. 81 results found.
Did you change the imagefile again, troony? I've seen one of these image with 400+ posted, another with 300+ and so on.
Oh sorry am I not allowed to save images from other anons for future purposes now?
I saved up this one too and search it as well if you want.
How much is from soft paying you? You have been posting these images non-stop for over 6 months now.
Is the wage at least worth it?
Nothing. I do it for the sole pleasure of getting the seething replies.
>he does it for free
What an earth causes such behaviour? If I don't like a game, I just don't play it, what causes multiple people to actively go out of their way to make negative threads about it on Ganker?
>NOOOOO DON'T TALK ABOUT VIDEOGAMES ON THE VIDEOGAME BOARD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
All I'm getting from this shit is discord is full of even more mentally ill freaks than Ganker
Told you so
Shills refuse to actually try and talk about the negative things in their game, instead now they just spam these images to deflect any criticism instead of actually discuss the game. You will see this more and more.
And you refuse to aknowledge the severe autism this board had about the game.
The game is flawed, yes. It is by means no masterpiece yet it is still a good game.
>And you refuse to aknowledge the severe autism this board had about the game.
You mean like shills faking discord leaks and spamming them every single thread for 6 months+?
I mean like the immense Shazam Posting prior to the release of the game. That whole tortanic stuff that you're playing dumb about now.
I don't see Shazam posters posting the same images 6+months straight while you paid shills do it.
And I'm not even joking that you've been doing it for over 6 months.
https://arch.b4k.co/v/thread/588265853/
>I don't see Shazam posters posting the same images 6+months straight while you paid shills do it.
You're right. We see seething threads about the game everyday.
Which makes you wonder what kinds of people are behind them.
>someone talks about Elden Ring player numbers in a steam player number thread
>NOOOO IT MUST BE THE SHAZAM DISCORD GROUP SEE I POSTED THE IMAGE FOR THE 1000'th TIME THIS WILL SHOW THEM
yeah.....so much seething about this game
>someone talks about Elden Ring player numbers in a steam player number thread
More like someone posted an irrelevant image that doesn't have anything to do with the quantity of players the game has at the moment.
>I don't see Shazam posters posting the same images 6+months
Where the frick were you in the year+ lead up to Elden Ring?
Outed yourself as a massive newbie, frick off
Autism.
lol.
the joy of doing pointless things as a group.
At least Cyberpunk had a good reason to be shitposted.
Cyberpunk and the birth of Shazam were a complete mistake.
It's also hilarious considering how well both TOR and CP2077 did profit wise in the end
TOR was an early example of an absolutely awful game doing well financially by hooking whales into a israeli cash shop
>Posting the edit
Fromtroons, not even once
You trannies know people can just search the archives and see which one came first, right?
Which begs the question, why the insistence on trying to disprove there's a group of discordtroons trying to besmirch ER?
Probably because he is either one of them or because
>game popular bad.
Remember the various voting threads? Because I remember.
I remember they kept switching the site they used because they genuinely thought it was botted, fricking hilarious
And they got absolutely ass blasted.
Fun times.
Why are they like this? Why do they despise success?
God that's pathetic, imagine just hoping a game turns out bad just to win some '''''''''''''''''''''''internet points'''''''''''''''''''' with a bunch of randoms
Just move on with your life already, everyone else has.
not an argument. Back it up with proof. Otherwise i won this argument. If your next reply isnt with actual proof then consider this your loss.
Shills get off on believing they've deceived people.
They deceive themselves first and foremost. Learn to exploit their ignorance and hubris to make them humiliate themselves.
>Still no forge or coop
>I need coop
Wait Ganker has friends
Halo players have at least 1 friend
It's still fun though, you can even play with bots that are like real humans in difficulty but without the camping and energy sword sweat.
Best of all it's free, Can't complain about something free.
>Bots that are like real humans in difficulty
lmao are you fricking kidding
you get a bot in a ranked match on your team you auto lose
The game's a fricking mess. 343 shouldn't just be shut down, they should all be killed
I mean like if you play all bots, It feels like a real match and the difficulty is on par.
It was the most popular fps on the planet at some point in time, Microsoft literally ruins everything they touch
This is going to be Master Duel within 3 months
Soon.
more anti-charts
What the frick is this game?
a clicker game shilled by streamers
A 2000s era flash game but with castlevania ripoff sprites.
It's genuinely just Robotron/Gauntlet with no level or enemy pattern design, giving you an absolutely overpowered kits so dopamine hits.
The freaking Hoe-girlve ripoff, Holocure, is much better
Worms is too strong
It had its time. Pretty sure the game sold well.
in defense of it, of course it's going to be extremely console heavy, its both a fighting game and a game that while having nostalgic elements for older teens and young adults, is still a kids game
I almost bought this kek
i bought it, fricked around for a while, had some laughs, then refunded it
very worthwhile
fake and trans
Never ever pander to meleegays.
But also the other guys right console is probably overrepresented
Viacom's fault for not shelling out dollarydoos for voice acting.
why are people posting single player games? i would expect single player games to not have as high of a player count period and to be much lower than what it was at release
Think about how dumb someone with an average IQ is. Now remember that half of the people posting here have an IQ lower than that.
Elden Sisters... we were supposed to be the GOTY... 10/10 masterpiece.......
It isn't a multiplayer game. We've all beat it like 4 times.
>It isn't a multiplayer game
people still playing are playing pvp
Half of it is multiplayer
>Half of it.
The multiplayer is completely optional. Invasions and jolly cooperation aren't mandatory.
>optional
they still are the reason why so many people are still playing the game. give a look on the player activity for souls games on PC on the months before and after the servers were taken down because of the possible bug and you'll see
>Half of it
why you tell lies on the internet?
If I had nogames I'd finish them too.
That's a big number for a single player game.
Even after three months.
It has nearly the same users as Skyrim. A single player game that is over a decade old.
There are 40k players at ER while there's 20k in Skyrim though.
Skyrims all time peak is also 15x times lower than Elden rings
Yeah. ER truly made a record.
Skyrim also has a frickton of mods for more casual players, while most mods for Elden Ring just make it harder. Only well known one that doesn't is the seamless co-op.
thank you for posting this. I love watching fromedromes piss and shit their pants coping
SHAZAM WON
Someone post LawBreakers
VGTG
I miss you every day
Frick that game. Even at its peak it was still the worst game in a once great series.
3 players? Is it still playable?
There's a tribes clone that re-releases with mod support on september 2nd
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1231210/Midair_Community_Edition/
You gays better put you money where your mouth is, this time.
>midair
That is not a TA clone, that is a meta Starsiege Tribes clone, TA had the perfect balance for everyone, sanic, basement dweller, and fatsos.
It'll have mod support so I'm not TOO worried.
If it's too bad, I'll try and make some voicepacks for the 6 anons that'll be playing it.
I will forever hate HiRez for their homosexualry and I will buy this. 90% sure it's going to be pushed back again though.
>and I will buy this
It's f2p, anon.. though there will be microtransactions according to their early access description.
Under 6% player retention
>no one has posted Blunderborn yet
This is actually good for a fighting game
SFV has around 20% retention, yes the all-time peak is good but it doesn't help that 94% of players abandoned Strive
Tekken has around 40% but that's mostly bots
>but that's mostly bots
why do you think that
It was proven
Where?
you’ve never played tekken.
I have I love Tekken but most players are bots
https://www.reddit.com/r/Tekken/comments/gu73e9/what_percentage_of_players_are_bots/
It's also on a series of threads on twitter but I don't have them at the moment also matchmaking takes a long while
he is a coping capwiener
>This is actually good for a fighting game
good if you're not a yuropoor, otherwise you're gonna play against the same people forever
yeah. welcome to fighting games. enjoy your stay
Lmao. Soivers actually thought it was going to stay a main game. Then when it died under a year they desperately try to act like it is suppose to happen and it is good it died.
How is this game still going steady.
ultimate autism simulator
also good one at that
also mods
It surprises me that a lot of Paradox games are in 5-digit numbers for users. I know there's multiplayer, but no one plays that, right?
Hoi and CK are amazing in multiplayer, EU not so much, but its a good game to learn with a friend
Are there really pickup Hoi games? I assumed everyone played with their own groups and that random matches are hellholes
i dont know about that, i play with a discord group
That's what I figured regarding multiplayer Paradox games but I don't think that the multiplayer is why it's so huge in player numbers, which is surprising because the game looks like autism at first sight
Autism map painters are obviously very popular. They have much better staying power than FOTMFPS
Nothing else like it overall.
Civ is turn based.
played 1000 hours, got bored and stopped playing for years.
Then anbennar mod came out and its just eu4 but better
it's fun painting maps, it tickles a special kind of autism within me
>Remove the entire sandbox in your Sandbox MMO because you let a clique of streamers be your beta testers and they gaslit you into thinking no one wants a RustMMO + Runescape
>Hire basically 0 coders so your game is so easily exploited you do weekly resets instead of trying to stamp out the issues when they appear
>Have 0 endgame content apart from random world chests boosting your gearscore and RNG, so every server has 100+ people congalining open dungeons just to open chests then log off
And the best part
>Sell the game for PVP enthusiasts with full loot drop on death (Thus why crafting is the way it is), then let aforementioned clique tell you to have pvp be optional
New World: What could have been
How did this game do so well? I'm impressed
It's an MMO with constant content updates, what did you expect?
>It's an MMO with constant content updates, what did you expect?
yeah but 95% of MMOs fricking flop hard by the first 6 months. they are lucky to last more than 2 years.
that game is like 9 years old
Warframe isn't a mmo
it was basically the only game to play on ps4 because it had zero games, was free, and was heavily marketed. also helps its crossplay.
You actually made me look this up there's no crossplay yet
Crossplay has been asked fornfor years and never happened because pc is always 3 weeks ahead or more in patches.
It is doing a lot worse now than 4 years ago. It used to average 100k players and be in the top 5 on steam. Very slow updates, which mostoy only included increasingly annoying grinds and lack of endgame content killed the hype a lot.
>Even this board forgot about them already.
Was expecting it be in earlier post.
surprised that many people still play l4d2. Game doesn't have that much replay value.
Active mod community
Does it have any mods that aren't just custom epic meme models?
I would expect a mod community to be 1000, 5000 on a good day. 30000+? They can't be all modders
I gotta argue that. I still have it installed. It's a fun game to play even for a short time.
Just because it doesn't have shitty progression doesn't mean its no fun you dumb frick zoomer.
Go back to JRPG if you want that.
But it does have progression?
No its not, the frick are you talking about?
Achievement is not progression.
B4B literally got character levels, skills and card collectible in their vanilla game.
The moment their players realized that all of thoose are boring and shit the player number start dwindling down.
You progress through the story maps, are you moronic?
There are no story, are you moronic?
You have never played l4d2
No, I played L4D.
Then why are you responding to my post?
You respond to me first.
You have actual brain damage
bro versus mode and hundreds of modded maps, honestly devs that dont allow mods are moronic
Those numbers are as real as Chinese stream views. Valve heavily inflates their Steamchart numbers
their numbers and API are so accurate and open that people were able to create exact sales numbers for games until they shut that one loophole down, kek
Blizzard cope.
Who are these people?
Game is good no doubt honestly its fun
Ok but what about this?
I swear some of these unpopulated multiplayer games that have like 2 or 3 people playing are the Mafia using it to communicate to each other or some shit
It's just memers idling for maximum internet points
Me if my toaster of a computer was good enough, I want to play it. Is it the only AAA Tower Defense game?
Some deranged trap is still keep the /vg/ thread alive for whatever reason.
The artstyle of that game was top tier. Not bad combat either. Greed killed it.
Loved the art but the game was confusing as frick with the amount of systems in it. Not to mention the cashshop being a pile of steaming shit.
Man I used to play this all the time when it first released.
Why can't I access the Wonderful 101 steamchart page?
See if you can get the numbers from the steam community page instead.
are these good numbers for a 5 year old port of a 10 year old game after the sequel got announced
it has more players than segas mmo after their big once every 6 months major update came out.
Yeah I'd say so
the game is also on GoG, fragmented playerbase
Well for a single player game that's on every other platform and GOG, especially one with a smaller fan base, I'd say 2-3k people playing through steam at any given time isn't too bad
I actually like New World
this game is a perfect example of a dev's hubris getting the better of them
literally small team have some respect
>Epic offers to buy studio for $1.5 billion
>devs reject and then brag about it on twitter
>game dies within 2 months
no, it really is funny
Devs thought that steambabies actually buy games, big mistake.
Hi and Hello tim
I respect their integrity, but you can't pay the bills with respect. They should've taken the money.
halo infinite mp being free cucked them
If you're going to post this game do it right gay.
cheaters killed multiplayer
I rarely encounter these frickers
>Ha! Look at that! Out of a million people who bought the game, only a thousand is still playing!
So, how does that affect the million sales?
numbergays are just built different than regular humans. like on /vt/ one of the most popular threads is one where they just compare numbers between different streamers all day long. it's fricked
homies posting singleplayer games
>using steam charts when there is steamdb
But what makes this shit even funnier is that Bezos called this game a success after multiple failures with 'just believe in yourself bro' type of tweet
Where we`re you when pokemon was kill?
>40k all time peak for an indie game
>trying to spin in as a failure
eat a dick anon
more like theythem
i wish my friend fricking played the game with me, he got salty because his starter pokemon wasn't as strong as mine
it was just fighting things it wasn't effective against bro, chill, that being said the psychic monkey is based and OP when i played
I actually really enjoy infinite and can't wait for forge
/hg/ shill
there's a /hg/?
lol there actually is one but noone shills Infinite there aside from 2 people, most of them just default to MCC and tell the rest to delete Infinite on sight
also it's just schizo shitposting 90% of the time, it'sfunny at times but I wouldn't recommend it
Halo infinite is free, and its the best halo experience for free. Paying for a feature that you'll never use is idiotic
I would enjoy infinite more if the multiplayer fricking functioned
campaigns fun at least
What is this supposed to prove? Those are singleplayer games.
POE1 to POE2 has a dropoff of 50% peak
PF1 to PF2 has a 100% increase at it's peak.
Basically that anons way of saying that the Pathfinder series is better than the Pillars series I guess.
That's fair I guess.
Obsidian number go down, literal who slav number go up in comically similar fashion. Hope this helps friend
Game is good
t. nobody
t. everyone
Matchmaking was a mistake and runs completely counter to a creative community environment.
>five year old single player indie sidescroller
Considering over 200k of them are bots, this is pretty impressive.
I believe this includes Chinese players while most games don't, but I could be wrong. Also bots aren't a thing in this game moron, in-game bots yes but not like the bots you see in TF2.
>Also bots aren't a thing in this game moron
lmao you are functionally moronic if you think PUBG isn't flooded with bots.
>i-it's just true okay
I played this game from the first week of Early Access till about a year ago.
It was flooded with bots way back then, it's flooded with bots now.
Easy way to tell if your game is full of bots - let the game auto-eject you from the plane and watch as there's 20-30 players in nearly every single match that are AFK bots.
I suppose they MIGHT have fixed it in the last year since I quit, but considering it's been a massive issue the game has faced since they added loot crates to the marketplace, and was still a massive issue when I quit, I doubt it's actually been fixed.
We have a group of 4 that still plays this game because we hate ourselves. There are no drops in this game so this doesn't exist anymore.
meds and bbc
What do the mediterranean people have to do with the subsaharian people?
>events that never occur
lmao frick off you clown
the producer literally talks about how it's a problem
there were even articles written about it in top tier gaming outlets like pcgame
https://www.pcgamer.com/pubg-afk-farming/
as well as literally just typing in "pubg bot farm" into youtube and having thosuands of videos of people farming BP off afk bots.
but sure, it never happened.
woah
>in-game bots yes but not like the bots you see in TF2.
???
>in-game bots
bots spawned in by the game, like if you played a match of quake with bots
>not like the bots you see in TF2
free to play accounts being automated by an outside program
He's saying that in PUBG there are AI/bots in game to pad out the player count, similar to how your first couple of matches in other BR games put you against nothing but AI/bots, but there are NOT bots by the way of someone macroing/hacking to automate their character in game.
Which is total cope, the game is festering with bots, both AI/in game, and player controlled/out of game.
>I am a moron
>all these homies posting games with like 5k players
as someone who is excited when I find out a cool indie multiplayer game has like 500 players this comes off as just pathetic. As long as there is enough of a playerbase to get into a game regularly then what the frick is the problem.
Jokes aside. I see new world pulling an eso or ff14 where it slowly grows in popularity after the bombing of a start
That's because you're a moron. New World is dead.
KEK
OH NONONONONONO NEWWORLDKEKS???? BOZOSISTERS???????????
How many of these games are also on other storefronts with possible sizable player counts?
Got this on release because my friends wanted to play it, we all refunded it after the first couple hours.
I remember seeing gameplay of this and thinking it was the most design-by-committee game possible. It was like it was tailor made to be a shitty streamer game that'd be dropped as soon as their contracts ran out.
I paid money to join the beta, they really promised a new ragnarok online
The closed beta was really the only good version of this game. It has the worst monetization I've ever seen on par with how Diablo Immortal.
I wish this game was more popular, I love the format and the gunplay
That's a really good chart. Had no idea it was still popular.
It's pretty good
Both the game and the chart, there could be a possibility of it going f2p in 2.0
>15th game with most players right now
such a dead gaem
Literally who
Some random indie L4D knockoff with 70s retro-future aesthetics. Looks interesting enough in the trailers but nothing I'd ever actually pay for. If it was on a game pass or Timmys Freebies I'd probably download it and frick around with it for a weekend with the homies and then never think about it again (ala WWZ)
The most soulless thing I have ever played captcha G0Y 4DNT

>BILLION DOLLAR FRANCHISE

Clifford starting the game staring at the main menu while pouring another glass
at least you aren't Clifford Blazoople
I've never experienced anything remotely close to that in gaming (outside of games that are essentially shitposting in video game form created by 1 or 2 people)
>I WANT THE BR AUDIENCE
How the FRICK do you mess up the biggest videogame in Asia like this?
I'm guessing no one plays it through Steam
Those are at most 1k players. I don't think you know just how big DFO is in Asia. It's the highest-grossing video game of all time.
it has its own launcher
As someone who liked and played it for quite awhile I think it just doesn't gel with western players. It's Chinese popularity too ended up dictating how content was made and version differences are pretty matched to area audiences except the English one still isn't though they have just started trying to change it from what I've heard (Quit a bit after Sirocco raid.) Time investment is pretty high for a new player trying to spend as little real money as possible.
Does Battleborn have something for this?
Battleborn is fricking dead m8
Bad. Ass.
Surprisingly low all time peak
>1000 players
There was a whole shitshow here like 10 hears ago, FOR THIS?
it wasn't that people played it
game journos just talked it up as a 10/10 like every single site
they praised every aspect of it and it 100% did hurt the industry
This game got so BTFOd that nobody has even mentioned it here for months kek
I really really wanted Disgaea to be a success on PC because I absolutely love the franchise but asking people to pay €70 for it is just ridiculous.
I'm glad it has these pitiful numbers. It got released less than 2 weeks ago btw.
For some reason uploading files from my IP range is blocked so here's the url:
I always get a big of a laugh out of this one, specifically the charthj05

Everyone already got it on EGS
With no bullshit people got it from Ebic
Isn't this on gamepass too? Probably most people either bought it on egs, or played it on gp
Where are the jokes? I don't understand these punchlines.
There is no joke, this is zoomer humor. Outside of certain games, low player count isn't really funny.
Cool story bro, of course the mods on irc gives a frick that you would dare to disrupt their ERP sessions.
Shut the frick up goblin shill.

Hi pedorisim dev. When are you gonna have a nice day over how much of a failure your pedo game is?
Post game

Where are my landsharks?
I thought I was the only one who remembered that game. It's never happening.
