おめでとう、先生!
The whole Bully soundtrack is very bass-driven.
?si=DQ_QKXGuxywlHUCC

Mario Kart 8 went crazy with some basslines.

>MK8
My homies.
I was trying to remember this one. I knew one of the Kirby games had a really fast bassline.
I know I'm forgetting a ton but these always stood out to me.
>tfw no bass qt

Bass-playing qts:
>Ryo (Bocchi the Rock)
>Mio (K-On!)
>Roxie (Pokemon)
>Katy Kat (Um Jammer Lammy)
>Mae (Night in the Woods)
Any others?
?si=vHA7k9ZCe6jV4fZH
Does this count?
Jojo reference?!??!
I don't really remember any besides the opening to the battle themes in Final Fantasies 1 to 6

Bros..
I thought the three B's were Bethesda, Bioware and Blizzard
That's three B's in gaming.
What's wrong with bassists?
>ROLLING AROUND AT THE SPEED OF SOUND
i must not jam to the ..bass!
How old is too old to learn bass? It seems fun and easy. I don't want to learn some homosexual guitar solos, I just want to play a funky bassline.
it's easy, just learn. if you're concerned about what to buy just get a squier precision.
It's never too late to learn anything
When you're too old for your hands to work, or whenever you develop a bad case of arthritis.
Not true, you can still use a DAW
and Carpal Tunnel!
didn't know muk was a fan of girugamesh.
Never, bro. Buy a cheap used bass. Watch some youtube vids, download some tabs, and play the frick out of that bass.
Obligatory

>The bassline that opens up right after the choral synth intro
I wonder which of these basslines would be the hardest to play.
?si=5E5R6wp4QHNLEQHY
This bassline goes pretty high at times, you might need a 6-string to play it.
It's so rare for a remaster of a classic game like this to have a soundtrack remaster on par with or better than the original.
>Arranger: Jake Kaufman
That makes sense.
>no 90s Namco
For shame.
Virt's stuff is so damn good. I remember listening to some tracker music medley by a bunch of different artists as part of a demo-thing and his part was immediately recognizable before even seeing the credits.
>Garage Talk
absolutely FUNKY
this entire frickin' soundtrack
First two that popped up in my head.
Also the Kirby Air Ride menu theme, but someone already posted that.
How much do you need to spend on a bass amp before they stop buzzing?
Stop buying class A amplifiers.
im thinking about buying a guitar
go for it, just forgo the cheapest and get something that looks cool in the $300 range
It will just collect dust in a corner of your room

Soul Blazer has a pretty bassy OST and it's a great game too.

idk shit about music but good thread

>Gin and Sin
Nice intermediate bass song.
I know some people like complexity in their music, but you can't go wrong with a simple and steady beat, as long as it's catchy. that's why songs like gin and sin are good and memorable.
Is Bocchi the Rock worth watching?

Can the mods pin this thread so that it survives the night instead of some ragebait or coom threads?
Hirokazu Ando is a fricking ascended bassist in Star Allies OST
I'm wasn't crazy about Star Allies' gameplay but I really, really liked the music. In the spirit of this thread here's a fan arrangement of one of the original songs from this game that highlights the bass.
https://soundcloud.com/plrusek-chan/kirby-star-allies-friend-star
I wish Star Allies wasn't boring as shit because I really liked the OST and the guest allies
fat
fat fricking bassline, damn straight
a loading bgm didnt need to bang this much
recorded this the other day, figured i'd share
https://files.catbox.moe/h91os3.mp3
You guys forgetting the original baseline:
simple and repetitive but very memorable to me.
yes.
The Sonic games had a lot of good basslines in them, I'm pretty sure the composer for the first two games was a bassist actually.
why is snes bass so goddamn thicc
snes is what genesisn't
?si=36zqk3AMjfeOpllA&t=164
the bass on this track is insane, but the lick at the breakdown is incredible.
I bought an electric guitar a few weeks ago and I kinda wish I bought a bass instead.
get an electric bass too then. Getting a cheap one shouldnt set you back too much and its plug and play with any guitar peripherals.
sex with yoyoko
This one goes without saying
I can't believe noone posted this yet, but- "Paris Rooftops" from "Sly Cooper 2: Band of Thieves".
The whole pilot wings ost is funky af.
