the character development for everyone but the mc and the villain is pretty shit, and the whole le moral dillema turns out to be all for nothing when you replay the game
I'm doing a solo fighter run on hard mode right now with all hud disabled (no enemy health/player health and stamina shown) and it really changes the game. multiple runs with a full team of pawns are pretty boring

Only 3 levels.
3 bosses. The last fricking boss is a reskin of the first.
The grenade launcher is ANNOYING AS FRICK to use because of its stupid-ass sound.
I don't mind obnoxious cosmetics every now and then but holy shit there's a shit ton of them.
old game with spaghetti code with most disgusting bot crisis Ive ever seen.
stupid hit reg doesnt help either
Multiple segments of pointless fluff that aren't even entertaining and serve to only waste time.
Tries to take itself seriously as a narrative commentary while also having cardboard cutout "whahaha" tier villains that you can just never take seriously
Mind numbingly boring and terribly done exposure especially around the end
There's one part of the game where complaints 2 and 3 intersect, where the penultimate baddie and his lackey literally sit down and explain the plot for the audience even though THEY already know the plot, it's awful but also funny
dark souls has an amazing atmosphere but lacks replayability after the 3rd playthrough
PVP in the souls series has always been absolute garbage
also
the clutch claw ruined monster hunter world
the fact that your hunts will take an extra 10 minutes if you don't use the clutch claw as frequently as possible makes me absolutely HATE the game
it's so fricking bad
the old MH games are unironically better than world
as soon as they started to make the monsters more hyperactive and aggressive, they seriously took away a lot of the fun from certain weapons for solo players
using greatsword solo in iceborne is a fricking nightmare until you've hunted the monster at least 20 times and memorized everything about it
Rocksteady mantle shouldn't exist either.
It makes me cringe when some shitty speedrunner only ever hunts using the mantle, then says "well look, you just need to git gud, the monsters are perfectly designed :)"
as if they weren't spending 40 minutes per hunt before they got the fricking mantle
I hope none of these dumb mechanics make it to MH6
but who am I kidding there is obviously going to be some sort of a tool/mechanic for handholding shitters
Mantles were a mistake, there were a lot of design decisions in World that made me go "Why?"
I'm glad Rise ditched a lot of them, they seem to have found a middle ground in streamlining the gameplay without leaving out what makes MH special.
Could do with more benefits for preperation though, I also want hot and cool drinks back
Every game I love, I love because of the story. So a lot of my favourite games are fricking ass to actually play.
Yakuza's gameplay is repetetive, outdated and dull. Ace Attorney has tons of shitty investigation segments. Nier Automata filtered literally all of my normie friend. New Vegas was dated on release. 999 is literal shit.
Ace Combat Zero cheaped out on missions with the alignment system and all it does it just changes a few lines of dialog in said missions, the other games before it had like 20 or more missions.
Wouldn't say it's my favorite of all time but current obsession that I think about the mechanics a lot
LCorp
Nugget growth is too slow making for boring stat grind sections at the end of days to have a well trained staff.
Also general stability issues and UI glitching.
Ruina
Despite the number of deck types and mechanics to play around in the game, many builds don't have proper endgame cards to support them and the best sustain cards come from one specific build type (singleton) meaning most endgame decks are singleton + a few unique cards.
it's kind of shit, to be honest.
I don't think anyone complains more about a game than its strongest fanboys
The gameplay is not as good as melee and the online makes me want to tear my hair out. Besides that it is a perfect game.
latency in dark souls pvp
the character development for everyone but the mc and the villain is pretty shit, and the whole le moral dillema turns out to be all for nothing when you replay the game
The final boss was spine-breakingly shit
In ace combat 04, grinding points can become a bit of a chore that really drags between the game's highs
Text is too slow in OoT
Not being able to skip cutscenes on FFX can become a problem on replays. Especially if you die to something like Yunalesca.
Who thought this was a good idea
I really need to replay this for Halloween.
The overworld is fun to explore once or twice, but the set encounters and lack of randomness make replays kind of tedious.

Gau was a really shitty character.
The second half of the game in general wasn't very good, following the whole shock value of it all.
I don't think I need to really need to explain why Cruelty Squad can be criticized

fun weapons like the bfb were nerfed to placate the extremely small competitive community that probably banned it anyways

Being able to restock at camp is moronic

the inverted castle is a bit shitty
plus magic completely broke the game and removed most of the challenge.
The actual gameplay part of it is fricking point and click escape room, and it's not even particularly good escape room either.
the witcher 3 combat is bad but its fun to break it with bombs and alchemy
Farming that eagle egg at The Aerie was a pain in the ass.

Go play Drakengard 1.
