So /vr/ how much longer until we get a 4:3 handheld that can run PS2 games? 1 year, 2 years, 5 years?

Why 4:3? A lot of PS2 games are widescreen.
We already do, the Win600 or whatever is perfect and cheap.

Win600 is sadly not perfect, most games run with slowdown and frame dip.

The Win600 is weak and has single channel RAM. It also has the sticks in an awkward place. The Loki Zero shits on its price with dual channel and the Loki Mini is just outright better. Anbernic should stick to cheap loonix portables like the 353P.

Looked fine for me for PS2.

I'd go look up some more videos then, I didn't see anything run smoothly

Id be happy with a 351m model that plays ps1 and N64 decently.

2-3 years seems reasonable. the jump in power between RP2 and RP2+ was significant after only 2 years so i imagine 2 or 3 more yeara from now you'll see the "next gen" handhelds that really go above and beyond what's offered now.

Doesn't the Ayn Odin run PS2 games?

    >4:3 for 6th gen consoles
Plenty of PS2 and Xbox games support widescreen. Plus if a handheld is gonna emulate those systems it will also run PSP which is 16:9. It's a silly request.

As long as they keep it around the same size as the 351MP, I wanna something I can put in my pocket not something I have to carry around in a purse

            Don't you have a phone?

If you care this much about 4:3 buy a fold, I have it and it's amazing for PS2 emulation.

The one you can install after throwing it into the trash and buying a normal phone.

imagine playing anything but exclusives on a PS2. Gamecube and Xbox were WAY better with multiplats.

      Oh yeah? Which ones, specifically?

Two examples are GTA and NFS.

pretty much every game I played except Hot Pursuit 2 was better on the Xbox and Gamecube, and I say this as someone with a PS2. I want to get an Xbox but idk if it's better to get an OG Xbox or an Xbox 360 to play OG xbox games on.
