Any gems you'd recommend?
Already own Mario Party 4-7, Melee, Air Ride, Thousand Year Door, Sunshine, Animal Crossing, and both Pikmins.

pic related, and rogue squadron 2 rogue leader
Definitely this
What's the difference? I've never bothered to learn
the oot master quest? I don't want to ruin it for you.
I ordered Rogue Squadron 2 & 3 today for $20 & $30 bucks respectively.
Is it really worth shelling out for the Master Quest version? I was debating on that Collection that has 4 titles.
I need to dig through my storage but I swear I have this too somewhere.
I have a Wii, I wanted a GameCube.
A local store has Prime for $30 and Prime 2 for $40, are those fair prices? I haven't played either.
I think it's worth it for the master quest promo
>Is it really worth shelling out for the Master Quest version? I was debating on that Collection that has 4 titles
As someone that has both, I think the Master Quest collection is better (if you like Ocarina of Time on the N64). You can play Master Quest in the 3DS remake, but its not quite the same as playing it with N64 graphics. Also the other collection's Major Mask has some bugs with it, so I think its better to play the N64 of it to avoid those bugs. I personally got a game breaking bug that stopped me at the Stone Tower. It irritated me.
get the 3rd rogue squadron game, it has the entire 2nd game on it as a co-op playthrough.
Game Boy Player
not that anon, but I used a gamecube with swiss and GBI for years to play tons of GB and GBA games
but those days are more or less over with with the analogue pocket
a Wii + a Wii2HDMI + an analogue pocket is gonna be way the frick cheaper than a GCN + a Game Boy Player + a flashcart + an HDMI adapter and are gonna deliver a better experience, and thats not even considering how much Gamecube games cost
Star Fox Assault
There is no reason to NOT have gotten a Wii instead.
That is to say you should have bought a Wii.
Wii is annoying if you just wanna play cuve games because you're forced to use a wiimote, and that battery drains slowly even if you're not using it.
Metroid games
Mario Kart Double Dash
Metroid Prime 1 and 2
Wario World (it is a very short game so be prepapred for that)
Godzilla Destroy All Monsters Melee
Resident Evil 1 remake
resident evil 4
Also get
>Godzilla Destroy all Monsters Melee
>Mario Golf: Toadstool Tour
>Wario World (lol, good luck with that!)
>Luigi's Mansion
>Pokemon Gale of Darkness (Lol, good luck again)
>Bomberman Generation
>Chibi Robo (LOL, Good Luck Again!)
>Eternal Darkness
I've been cleaning out my closet between responding to posts and found my copy of Wario World. Is it really that rare?
Also, local store has two copies of Eternal Darkness for $100, should I?
>Is it really that rare?
no, but it is heavily desired
More like nintendo shit cube! The discs look like fricking chocolate chip cookies!
Pikmin 1 and 2 play completely different on a gamepad.
the superior way. i miss the c stick
Yeah, but I'm pretty sure that the Wii version has Classic Controller support + 480p, so the Wii version would be better. IIRC they are identical, besides that. The C-stick was great.
No, forget it. It doesnt. The GC is still the superior version, the HD has some UI problems, and the color saturation/colors in general are not the same. The lack of motion blur and a more blurry visual also make the game feel less dream-like like the originals on GC. To me it's the superior version, except it has less QoLs and has some bugs, like the squish one.
Resident Evil 1, it's has a very different feel from the PC HD version, specially if you are playing on a CRT tv.
Found the first Resident Evil on ebay for $15 (no case), worth copping?
Now that I'm thinking about it, maybe the Wii version is superior, IIRC it had an option for classic controller or something that was like the GC version and 480p. Do check that before buying.
Baten Kaitos and Skies of Arcadia.
Soulcalibur 2 is enjoyable, as well as kirby's air ride
GB Player so that you can play Kirby Tilt n Tumble by holding the gamecube.
Underated post. GB player is great, but play on the normal size, if you stretch the screen you'll have a problem with stutter every so frames for some reason.
F-Zero GX and Killer7 if you want to experience that in its original form.
Any price range I should look out for?
I had it as a kid, I really hope it's kicking around somewhere.
use pricecharting dot com
F-Zero it runs like shit on emulators
>it runs like shit on emulators
? what the frick are you talking about I am playing it off dolphin, and I have never had a stutter, a crash, or any graphical issues. what fricking bootleg chink alternative are you playing off of that's not dolphin, or better yet what the frick are your pc specs Black person?
Nah last time I was trying to play it split screen it stuttered like crazy. I might be thinking of the N64 but f-zero 64 and gx definitely don't run as well as they do on original hardware.
F-Zero GX, my guy.
The star wars vehicle game where there was a arena mode where you played as jedi.
If you have any IRL friends (lol) Try and get the Pac-Man VS game along with some GBA's and link cables. Very unique experience.
Oh wait, I just found out it was released on Switch. Play it that way then.
Windu Waika and softmod it
Geist and Scooby Doo Night of 100 Frights
Is the Scooby Doo recommendation a joke? Never seen it suggested in earnest before
it's got a 72/100 on howlongtobeat
that's not a bad score for that website, unlike metacritic where a 70 might as well be dogshit
avalanche 1080, phantasy star online
Wave Race.
Chibi Robo
Gotcha Force
Skies of Arcadia
Metroid Prime 1&2
Viewtiful Joe
Cubivore
Wario World
Rayman 3
Doshin the Giant
Super Monkey Ball 1&2
>Super Monkey Ball 1&2
I am an idiot for forgetting them earlier.
OP if you are still here, get these two marvelous games too.
Mario Golf for GameCube is right up there with the 64 version.
Harvest moon is also solid.
Wind waker
I do not like Wind Waker.
I never have. I never will.
I will not apologize.
Spider-man 2
metroid prime is basically mandatory. also, the naruto games that released on gamecube were really good, they had a street fighter clone (cant remember the name) that was fricking awesome even if you didn't watch the show. i think it was path of ninja? idk, it was yeag4pan
rs and years ago
can't forget custom robo.
Pikmin and Animal Crossing are essential
Skies of Arcadia and Metal Gear Solid: Twin Snakes.
>twin snakes
Twin Snakes is better than original MGS OP, don't listen to morons like
It not being on the collection is fricking moronic
>completely breaks level design with SoL mechanics
>new matrix cutscenes are moronic
>atmosphere ruined
Man, I checked out some games, plenty of games I have now sell for more than a 100 bucks. I think I'm gonna cash in while it lasts.
I still have an entire collection of games sitting her gathering dust.
Can't really believe it because when I started collection and got most of the games for around 10 bucks each.
Stand aside everyone, great game, coming through
