You could get a cheap tablet like Osu players use.
I also want a new one too though, most people tell me to go play Osu but it doesn't scratch the itch. EBA and Ouendan are seriously charming.
I WAS BOOOOOORN
IN A CROSSFIRE HURRICANE then you fail the song because holy shit I was not ready for the song to open with that many notes that quickly
>Anon, 25, Ganker user >Oh ho ho! Another Steam sale! >Grrrr... All of these games suck! >I guess I can ask Ganker if there's anything good coming out... >Wh-- It's all just shitty bait! >Slumps in chair >Sigh... I guess I can just play old reliable. >"The servers for this game have been permanently shut down. Thank you for playing!" >HEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAALLLLLPPPLLLL
Iirc one of the high school musical games was also in the same style.
To be fair though "Tap circles to a rhythm" seems like the first idea anyone would come to when thinking of a rhythm game for the DS. Not that they might not have been inspired by EBA but it makes sense that so many studios did it.

When I was in high school I was playing this in the lunchroom before classes started, Jumpin Jack Flash on Hard Rock mode.
This Russian exchange student thought it would be funny to put his hand in front of my screen. So I punched him right in the dick and kept going.
Good game.
Osu would be great but it's not mapped for touch screens. Running it on an Android tablet with a stylus just doesn't feel like EBA/Ouendan and the harder difficulties are basically impossible unless you separate your clicks from your aim which defeats the object imo
I love rhythm games, I love Ouendan/EBA
But I won't touch OSU, it's the realm of weeaboo autists no-lifers who dedicate their entire lives to gitting gud. It's disgusting to see a high level OSU player.
>loved how the game kept Agent Chieftain and the Divas secret until you beat the previous difficulty >loved each story having 4 endings (failure, and three tiers of completion: poor, good, perfect) along with alternate scenes at each checkpoint >good songs to go with each story (movie, Christmas, lost dog, baseball legend being my faves)
Just a damn good game
MAKES NO DIFFERENCE TO ME
THERE'S NOTHING MORE
YOU CAN'T IGNORE
WANNA HAVE YOU NEAR ME
I WANNA HAVE YOU HEAR ME SAYING
>No new EBA or Ouendan.

READY STEADY CAN'T HOLD ME BACK
READY STEADY GIVE ME GOOD LUCK
READY STEADY NEVER LOOK BACK
I played EBA but never got into ouendan
It's just not the same
It's the same but japanese. Sounds like you have shit taste if you prefer EBA
EBA is literally the worst of the three games.
Ouendan has too many ching chong songs
EBA has pure kino song selection
I WAS BOOOOOORN
IN A CROSSFIRE HURRICANE
then you fail the song because holy shit I was not ready for the song to open with that many notes that quickly

The gaming world died when japs stopped making rhythm games with positive and uplifting stories and kickass tracks

What song?
>all the good of before now locked away by bastards
2112, the whole thing. The agents look exhausted by the end, but still grinning.
You were today years old when you found out the fricking Michael Jackson Experience is a sequel to EBA
For some reason there were a number of licensed ds games that were in the style of EBA.

The Grease game is also just like it too,
i destroyed my right wrist playing this game
but it was worth it
never actually finished the Diva mode... I don't like specular modes in games and I liked the hard mode character much more
>Didn't unlock Commander Kahn
It's worth it just to see him doing the same dances as the divas
whenever I wante to play as kahn id play the pvp mode I love agent Chieftain too much tho lolz

YOU KNOW OUR LOVE WAS MEANT TO BE
THE KIND OF LOVE THAT LASTS FOREVER

>fighting through the tears trying to full combo the song so you don't let the little girl and ghost dad down
fricking kino
YOU BET KID
LETS DANCE
I
WAS BORN
TOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO LOVE YOUU
>that song where an entire island's worth of animals want to frick them
This would never be in a game today
