Content wise, the artist loves smegma. There is exactly one clean dick in the game as far as I've gotten. It hasn't really been so much of a focus to frick up a scene, but it is never hard to miss.

I should probably mention that the hide-and-seek quest is total BS and the prize is garbage. Go straight melee for the base game and dungeons, but after post enemy strengths and weaknesses matter a lot more.
For easy grinding after the main game, you, go to the memory room and fight the tentacle monster from the train - the fight can be finished fast enough to avoid any losses, and provides enough exp for level 99 all party members.

Pretty soon even most Japanese translators will probably use AI translators and then touch up the results.

I stumbled across a game lately that does have a bit of porn for a couple non-game over states, but generally it's really fricking punishing to get the porn since it's back to the last manual save point. It's genuinely more convenient to just figure a new H-scene nearby, make a save, throw yourself to the pounding and then try again legit, keeps the scene saved even though the retry goes on your end game record.

That's not fun. If you're gonna put gameplay in your H-game it should relate to H or not get in the way of getting H. Too many games have shitty boring gameplay. No, turn-based battles are not good gameplay.
Shorten them or make them fun. (Hint: no one has made a fun turn-based battle system yet; the best ones are the ones that you beat the fastest in like one or two turns and can fast-forward through animations. This shit has not changed since Pokemon Red/Blue, it's the same thing every single game: Buff, Attack, Heal. Just skip the Buff and Heal parts already, I've done it a million times in hundreds of other games. Enough is enough)

I also like games where if you lose battles you get an H scene. Some games have shitty gameplay but are still worth playing, like Mature Quest and Married Warrior Emma. If they're too tedious, just use cheats, but these games need to be good H-games first. If you want to make a real game and ignore the H-parts or half-ass it, then just go make a real game and skip the H completely. If you're making a porn game, the game needs to have some decent porn. As long as your shitty gameplay has an equivalent opposite amazing H-scene reward, you can get a pass.

The video posted specifically you have to frick the monsters to capture them to add to your familiar list, this lets you summon them for extra stats/skills and they attack with you.
MC is a shota who gets spirit bodyjacked because of reasons, you're female for most of the combat until you take enough damage to get the magic knocked out of you and then you're in a vulnerable male state for the monsters to feed on.
Or you can just willingly dispel back into male, and frick the monsters to capture/stun them, though some get back up pretty fast. Shota also gets weapons about halfway through the game. There are a few yuri scenes though but not many, including one where a fairy just teleports herself inside you to jerk off.

MTL have been terrible since the dawn of time, but I've had extremely good success translating with ChatGPT. I don't even really need to touch anything up. Admittedly I'm only N2 (But probably on the verge of N1) but I know around ~2.5k Kanji and plenty more words. I even had success live translating an anime episode, though it wasn't perfect. Pretty soon even most Japanese translators will probably use AI translators and then touch up the results.

That's not fun. If you're gonna put gameplay in your H-game it should relate to H or not get in the way of getting H. Too many games have shitty boring gameplay. No, turn-based battles are not good gameplay.
Shorten them or make them fun. (Hint: no one has made a fun turn-based battle system yet; the best ones are the ones that you beat the fastest in like one or two turns and can fast-forward through animations. This shit has not changed since Pokemon Red/Blue, it's the same thing every single game: Buff, Attack, Heal. Just skip the Buff and Heal parts already, I've done it a million times in hundreds of other games. Enough is enough)

I also like games where if you lose battles you get an H scene. It doesn't make sense for a heroine to get an H scene if she wins the fight unless she's a bawd/dom, and not every heroine needs to be that. Some games have shitty gameplay but are still worth playing, like Mature Quest and Married Warrior Emma. If they're too tedious, just use cheats, but these games need to be good H-games first. If you want to make a real game and ignore the H-parts or half-ass it, then just go make a real game and skip the H completely. If you're making a porn game, the game needs to have some decent porn. As long as your shitty gameplay has an equivalent opposite amazing H-scene reward, you can get a pass.
Takamakuran's games are pretty sick in this regard, it's 50/50 good ass rpg and "explore to unlock h-scenes" with some minor branching paths and sidequests that lead to more h-scenes. It's a functional game with erotic imagery

A fair bit of RPG maker one's are either full MTLs, first MTL'd and then someone "cleans" it, or actual translations. Unless it's done by JAST, Mangagamer, and the usual big names, it's always suspect.
As someone who reads chinese webnovel slop and once read thousand MTLed chapters of a good novel it's really easy to spot MTL. It reads like a robot translated shit with no human touch, which is the case.
And yes a lot of releases are edited MTL.

Anyone try Better Earth? I've started it a couple of times but quit quickly because I'm horny.
I like Better Earth a lot. Taking the Magical Camp formula of "TF yourself to get stronger" and applying it to a whole town is really neat and makes for a lot of varied scenarios. The party members are fun and the writing is also pretty good for this sort of game, enough to get a few audible chuckles. Last time I played I thought that the grind for the items that let you absorb clothing was pretty tedious, especially if you're trying to see the really absurdly big breast sizes. Not sure if that's been fixed in more recent updates. Sucks that it took a year for the last update to come out, but at least he's still working on it.
