>quit video games for the past 5 years
>ass and shoulders hurt after sitting for more than 30 mins
>cant enjoy any new games
>whats the point playing shitty vidoegames when i can relax, watch stuff or listen to music
quitting makes you realise what a subhuman hobby gaming truly is

>Why engage in [subhuman entertainment] when I can engage in [subhuman entertainment]
because one is relaxing and not bad for the body
whereas the other one will leave you bald and with severe lordosis and body ache
You don't play any comfy games like atelier?
>atelier
waste of time coomerbait cope?
id rather frick my girlfriend and sleep
>waste of time coomerbait cope?
Wouldn't call anything waste of time after posting this homosexual thread, attention seeking anon.
>girlfriend
heh, perhaps Ganker isn't for you anymore.
In all seriousness however, I'm 28 and I'm feeling it. The most I can sit down for is four hours or so before I start to feel like shit, and in my opinion? Multiplayer games and modern vidya are dogshit. Modded bethesda games, older FPSes, and Tetris is where it's at, along with the annual replay of games I'm nostalgic for.
>become a normalgay
>can't do simple mental engagement without feeling discomfort
but I agree new games are shit
its really not mental engagement though
>>ass and shoulders hurt after sitting for more than 30 mins
How? Are you old? Do you exercise?
working out is my favourite hobby. i do bodyweight and compound lifts regularly. i ride a bike too and jog when i feel like it
Do you have joint issues? Also, how old are you?
31
i have no joint issues
i feel like my body has returned to its normal state where it feels unnatural to remain sat at the desk for 8+ hours like i used to
yeah, nah, cope more
This is where I'm at now also. Only games I play anymore are from 15+ years ago like AoE2 and TF2. I try to keep up with new shit but I'd rather just spectate and do other things.
I don't see how watching TV in this scenario is any different from playing games. The only thing that should be hurting more from playing games is your hands/wrists. Unless you're a PC gamer with a shitty chair or something.
So... There's like 4 - 5 threads with themes like:
>Video games aren't fun anymore
>I've grown out of video games
>When should you stop playing video games?
>I have nothing to play
>All my friends stopped playing
up at any one time.
What gives?
maybe people are growing up lmao
By posting /adv/ and /LULZ/ tier shit on Ganker?
Hardly...
