I just finished Patapon 1 for the first time.
I don't like how the ending dialogue implies patapon have multiple eyes.

Can't really go to with patapon's original minimalistic art direction. Might have something to do with the french artist not being a part of the project.
Rolito can't be used because he only has one style and using it on a game so similar in concept would give Sony grounds to sue for the rights to keep Patapon exclusively dead and buried like they want to.
This is sad for the creators.

I gotta be honest, I'm immediately thrown off by the abundance of color. I really liked the simple, flat color schemes of 1/2.
It looks interesting though, I'll keep an eye on it and if it's not a complete shitshow (or $60) I'll get it.
