It could be that Banjo & Kazzoie was part of Nintendo's deal with Rare and Microsoft related to the inclusion of the character in Smash.
If that's the case then we probably won't see anything else from Rare, except obviously Nintendo IPs like Donkey Kong.
I feel if that were the case, we would have seen N64 games earlier. I feel a two year gap is a vit it a stretch for that.
