I turned him down at least two or three times before this so why wasn't I locked out of the romance path like in any other fricking WRPG? My point that it has been standard in the industry for YEARS that if you turn down something via dialogue, most of the time it is turned down for good. It's an easy and straightforward way for the player to make his intentions clear in game and navigate the path he chooses. BG3, on the other hand, seems to treat half of its dialogue as nothing but pointless flavour text which has ABSOLUTELY NO EFFECT where it absolutely should.
