I didn't really like RDR2 tbh. It felt really boring compared to RDR1. This could just be an age thing as I was 20 when I played RDR1 but 28 when I played RDR2. It felt like a huge nuisance to force myself to finish the game.
Yeah its a boring ass shitty movie game, and this comes from someone who plays point and clicks. RDR2 will age so poorly over the next few years as the shine goes off its graphics.
Proper way to play Red Dead 2 is basically as an Ganker simulator. Put on some Couter Wall and this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J46sRuj99Cw and enjoy just the beauty of the world, hunting etc.

In RDR2 they went way overboard with realism simulation bullshit. Everything feels so sluggish and slow.
Red Dead Online more like. Any plans to do a next gen improvement is just to improve on and bring in new customers for the Online stuff. Besides, Red Dead story is complete and the prequel story of 2 wasnt really necessary, its just a wiener flex to better their technologies and software and to try to establish RDO as a brother series to GTAO

That's only the og xbone. PS4 is native 1080p and xbox one x is native 4k.
The PlayStation 4 Pro version has a weird blurry filter on it dunno if xbox has that
I dont game on consoles but Im guessing thats FXAA, it's the cheapest AA because it's just a blur filter, and if implemented poorly it just makes everything look blurry and shitty. FF15 is another bad offender.
It uses TAA. Also a problem on the PC version but if you pump up the resolution enough you don't really notice it.

This is not exclusively GTA:O (NBA2K is the other cash-cow) but you get the idea. With these numbers GTA V stands at $7.3B when it comes to combined revenue generated during it's lifetime. In the previous fiscal year (2021) fricking Take-Two profited more than $2B from microtransactions! And despite all these wealth they had the nerve to outsource their classics to a fricking mobile developer and random pajeets at the other side of the globe.
All those billions and they still outsourced shit to India for pennies. I fricking hate this world. I fricking hate people's stupid fricking endless greed. It all just fricking fricks.
