Difference being that it isn't really happening. It's a fricking cartoon.

    >started playing yu-no
    >done ayumi, kanna and most of kaori's route
this game holds up well imo and doesn't need a strict walk through to follow at all and I wish I hadn't followed that 'advice' because I would have had a lot more fun playing around with the israeliteel save system.
honestly even if there are some 'gotchas' they don't really matter that much because the skip text is pretty quick.

I did hate the most chemistry he had in the game was with the school nurse and yet there isn't a route where they are together.

yeah, Nocturnal Illusion is one of the fav old school one I've played. Avoid the renewal version, the horrible vaseline smeared CGs, urrgh. Also gotta be played with the midi OST for that absolutely haunting mansion track

What are some of the essential /vr/ visual novels? I'm new to this whole thing - Ace Attorney may have popped my cherry, but I want to experience some traditional visual novel games now.

      >finished epilogue
it was a good game but I vastly preferred the first half more than the second. I've read that they had to neuter the second half because of budget constraints which is a shame if that's the case.

I started Da Capo not to long ago but the second time I tried to load it up it kept freezing before the intro movie and hasn't worked since.
