WoW raiding is the pinnacle of raiding though. Just don't add multiple difficulties. Their mechanics are top notch and the settings are stellar. 90% of "raids" in FF are just a boss in an empty void with a big circle platform. How fricking boring is that? Compared to shit like Ulduar or Throne of Thunder or Blackrock Foundry.
What they're making will be too big to fail and as such it will be looking to appeal to the average player of their other games. In other words absolute morons who have no business playing mmorpgs. But since the game will be catering to them it won't be appealing to anyone who actually likes mmorpgs. So to answer your original question, no.

Why should it be cheap? They have a lot of good staff on hand from what I've seen and they seem to be taking their sweet time with it. I would rather have a more polished, playable WoW than another AoC "original" game.

I don't play League or Valo but I played LoR. It is a great card game and I like how much lore it has. They also have good animators, music, art direction, etc. I don't think anyone can predict how good their MMO will be but the bar isn't that high.
