Starcraft 2, specifcally Wings of Liberty is pretty much the only good single player RTS campaign although morons will complain about the story
They Are Billions also has a good campaign although it's an asymmetric RTS

Which is the best Supreme Commander game?
Been wanting to give it another shot.
Supcom 1 is the best. 2 has more balanced (but also more esporty) gameplay but has a moronic as frick story. 1's expansion is also very good (adds aliens)
Supcom 1 also has some optimization issues. If you get some slowdown there's an unofficial patch around for it.
if you want to play a game with an alive competitive scene play starcraft or aoe2. if you just want to play single player and mass up an army and watch it kill stuff there's lots of options. dawn of war and supreme commander are popular sci fi games.
I want to do both, I play BW and 2 for multiplayer but have been messing around with a few single player games
