And your statement could be used to sum up blood-borne in its entirety. I should know I played through blood-borne three times that I could get the fricking platinum for it and beat the entire DLC in one day and it’s nothing but a boring sluggish piece of shit game that doesn’t even deserve to be ported to PC. I can’t understand the reason why so many people want it on PC when it’s debatably the worst game, probably second to the demon souls Demake

Yharnam Sunrise is the Best Ending, why is everyone avoiding it? Is it because you leave your Plain Doll gf behind?

no I had read about it and thought it was just like you actually probably the best and most fulfilling ending so I wanted it to be the one I got the platinum with.
>What if wasted millions of dollars developing this mode no one will play and everyone will dislike?
i really enjoy chalice dungeons and i pop on to run through some in coop for fun a lot
it reminds me of PSO dungeons.
i would like them to expand upon it in bloodborne 3.

>my friend says NIoh 2 and BB are the best soulslop games he's ever played because they have "endgame content" >check them out >it's literally just a tower grind
How common are they? I don't have a snoystation of course, but to my understanding they function similarly to the healing items in Nioh. You collect them from enemies, and anything over your limit goes to storage.
In Nioh this works fine because the healing items are so damn common it's nearly impossible to run out. The only time it really happens is if you are beating your head on a wall for hours and it's basically the game's way of telling you "go do something else and come back later". Killing enemies to get more will probably level you up as well, so you naturally come back a little stronger and probably less frustrated.
they’re common in the first area. You’re lucky if you’re able to find them in any other that said you can just buy a shit load of them immediately after killing a boss and you’ll probably be good for the rest of the game.
Yeah that's kind of a bad design decision. It means that grinding more of them requires either fighting enemies that aren't worth enough "exp" to level you up noticeably, or spending whatever "exp" you do get on healing instead of leveling up.
The difference being that in Nioh the healing items drop basically everywhere, so you can go grind something easier but still relevant to your level and get stronger in the process. Leave and come back stronger vs leave and come back exactly the same.
>go do something else and come back later
the problem is that most of the time in bloodborne, there isn't a 'something else' to go do if you get walled at any of the hard fights. you also don't have a great way to farm vials efficiently until you get to hemwick
Touché I will admit this weapon was also pretty fun to use. I should’ve included that in my original post. as at least one time near the wet nurse or the queen of Yarnarm or whatever that final fricking boss before the end of the game or I guess the second to last boss or third to last if you’re going for that one ending where you become the slug regardless I was invaded and use this thing to keep the guy at bay before I ran up and slammed my scythe into him. and I remember it being kind of funny considering I hadn’t been invaded at any point before then.
Wrong the best part about blood-borne and the only fun I ever had playing it was when I was able to go through new game plus with the scythe
I have a build that uses the gatling gun and the boom hammer and absolutely torched bosses and people in pvp. God I need this game to be ported to PC already so I can enjoy it in the highest fidelity and see the multiplayer be reinvigorated
Shouldn’t have to. The Estus design is just objectively better. Needing to farm a bit early game to make a stockpile of vials is just not great and for new players running out of vials could be a run ender.
And people wonder why Elden Ring is the way it is, in any normal game running out of items is the natural consequence of overusing it yet when it's a thing in Bloodborne it's a mistake since it's not like Dark Souls.
The part where your whole analogy fails is that you can buy enough vials to never need to restock ever again until probably endgame right after you get access to dungeons.
That's what confuses me most about the complaints, blood vials are not even an issue for regular play yet people still complain as if it's a serious flaw to the game.
Oh I see it as a serious flaw because it’s incredibly easy to break. I think the only time I ever struggled with blood vials was the first time I was playing the game and ate them like they were fricking candy because I had never played a souls game before and then after coming back to blood-borne after beating dark souls one it became incredibly easy for me to strategize that said I can see how absolutely Mongoloid morons like myself would complain about that if they had never picked up or played a game or had to think for the first time in their lives.
Whenever I try to find out why people have such a problem with blood vials it boils down to >What do you mean there should be consequences slamming myself against a boss 100 times not learning a thing while burning through all my vials?
Estus addicts are casuals.
They unironically do and I don't give a frick about farming - they make the game too easy. You have access to, what, 20 of them? And you can carry even more. Purchasing vials makes farming a non-issue and you can accrue a near infinite amount. You can also pop them instantly, so forethought in usage is usually unnecessary. Just keep playing like shit and healing and the boss will die eventually.
>don’t get hit >even if you get hit, counterattack immediately to recover your health
Blood vials should not be something you even know about in the game.
Still filtered, huh?
yep
0/20

>I hate the best game in the series
you’re either moronic or a PlayStation fan boy if you actually believe this when obviously the best game is dark souls, one original not remaster.
The best game in the series is either Demon's Souls or Dark Souls 1, depending on how much the carry weight in DeS annoys me on any given day
you forgot your image
I don’t have to prove anything to a stupid Black person like you. but I will let me turn on my station five so I can open up my achievements.

Frick off chalice dungeons were the best part of bloodborne.

I didn’t say it was any good. I was just answering your question on how common they were
>go do something else and come back later

Unironically skill issue.
I love the Powder Keg Weapons.

they're ludokino and as long as you're not truly terrible at the game you can have an infinite supply of them very quickly
I dump money into blood vials when I don't need anything else. You find tons of them just exploring anyway.
>Objectively sloppy and poorly conceived game mechanic
>DURR JUST DON'T TAKE DAMAGE OR USE RALLY BRO
Not an argument, never was.
>invest in vials before amelia if you're bad
>???
>profit
Shouldn’t have to. The Estus design is just objectively better. Needing to farm a bit early game to make a stockpile of vials is just not great and for new players running out of vials could be a run ender.
Just do the modded dungeon that gives you 5 shitzillion echoes
ps plus required, also need to beat bsb to get the chalice
What's wrong with it?
In other Souls games, Your Healing Item replenishes at Checkpoints. In Bloodborne, you have to buy said Healing Items.
People are annoyed that if they run out of them while at a difficult Boss Fight, you have to leave and grind for more.
So... just like Demon's Souls?
yeah. they fixed it in dark souls and then fricked it up again in bloodborne
It's not that big a deal.
Honesty, buying Quicksilver Bullets sucks more, but that's because I run Gun Builds.
i didn't even know amelia could heal until i tried making a bloodtinge character
Yeah it's not a big deal, but it is bad. Like actually, objectively a bad design decision.
And people wonder why Elden Ring is the way it is, in any normal game running out of items is the natural consequence of overusing it yet when it's a thing in Bloodborne it's a mistake since it's not like Dark Souls.
The part where your whole analogy fails is that you can buy enough vials to never need to restock ever again until probably endgame right after you get access to dungeons.

>he played and beat all the other Souls games
>complains about vials
Do people not know the game has a dodge button?
Whenever I try to find out why people have such a problem with blood vials it boils down to
>What do you mean there should be consequences slamming myself against a boss 100 times not learning a thing while burning through all my vials?
Estus addicts are casuals.
>Fextralife
That's not SONY CORPORATION
Farming them is easy though
They unironically do and I don't give a frick about farming - they make the game too easy. You have access to, what, 20 of them? And you can carry even more. Purchasing vials makes farming a non-issue and you can accrue a near infinite amount. You can also pop them instantly, so forethought in usage is usually unnecessary. it would be just barely above the label.
>don’t get hit
>even if you get hit, counterattack immediately to recover your health
Blood vials should not be something you even know about in the game.
