Not a bad idea
Reinstalled OpenRCT2 lately, doing some Wacky World scenarios
The Great Wall scenario is so funny, thank you Chinese government for giving me unlimited funding to build a rollercoaster through this national monument
Man I miss when I could sit down, open OpenRCT2 and just have a blast playing one of the best games from my childhood.
What's stopping you?
Too busy shitposting on Ganker
Crippling depression has prevented me from enjoying anything for at least 2 years now.
Ah, yeah. I feel that.
Just find a way to get ahold of hydromorphone (Dilaudid), oxycontin, or even grow your own opium poppies (actually legal). One recreational dose per week plus regular physical excercise can cure anything.
That plaza in front of the car ride is going to confuse the shit out of people
better?
Yes, based giraffe saving the park
Now give your coasters some cooler names
Might I suggest "Roller Coaster 69"
hard wood and stiff steel it is
I like the touch of dirt pathways when it moves away from the main path
>Scrambled Eggs 1
do Americans really?
>look at rides
>see food
OH SAY CAN YOU SEE
>unbanked turns
is this your first time playing RCT or something?
better?
Intensity rating probably dropped by like 2 points and excitement went up by 1, congrats.
>spend a good chunk of time making a nice coaster for the junior coaster
>spinning cars are incompatible with banked turns
Pain
I started playing Parkitect recently and it is quite fun, it is basically a plagiarism of RCT with some QoL additions and improvements. Still, I think RCT has more "soul" in the graphics.
Parkitech is a modernized clone. Something bothers me about games like this, where despite going to all the effort of making it, nothing truly new is added.
They have added the logistics part, you now have to deliver food, ice, etc., for the sales stalls, but it is something quite superficial that won't generate much of a challenge.
Oh, and there is also the immersion thing, you need to hide everything that is not "park" from the guests with decorations, walls, etc., which is also quite easy to deal with and also doesn't add much, but it doesn't get in the way of gameplay either so I guess it's kind of fun.
Thanks, Doc.
changed it to hard woody and steel stiffy. the customers really want to get on those indoors rides now that it's raining
I forget, does covering buildings with decorations make them indoor rides in RCT2?
if you didnt build on the beach, you didnt complete the level
how did you build past the unowned land? is there a secret to RCT I dont know about
you can buy land on the whole beach, but its the kind of land you can only build above or below ground level.
Anon
You can purchase land rights. Either to build pathway over or properly own.
I just built everything right next to people's apartments on the other side, I thought it was funny to have a rollercoaster blasting techno non-stop next to their living place
>He can actually enjoy playing vidya
>He doesn't feel the crushing emptiness of life trying to suffocate him
>He doesn't realize the clock is ticking away and he has one day less
heh
get your shit in order son
I wish. I've tried multiple times and only ended up worse off.
Boohoo. Go cry to a therapist, homosexual, this isn't your blog.
Thank you for reading my blog.
Based and Metalpilled
Sounds pretty good, minus the rum. Shit's nasty. Give me beer, tequila, of whiskey any day. Or a nice refreshing mule of some kind.
OpenRCT tile inspector?
based Majesty enjoyer
Golf games were always my go to for chill weekends. Always had a case to drink or Jack and coke. Miss those days sometimes.
>caesar 3
>Roller Coaster Tycoon
>Majesty - The Fantasy Kingdom Sim
Big gulps, eh? Well, see ya later!
You using the site that gives you optimal prices for rides? I started using that after testing it out of curiosity and realizing I was severely undervaluing rollercoasters.
For me, it's Leafy Lake
I build coasters on the lake
And a big ass tram system
All the RCT1 beginner scenarios are iconic as frick
Where does the beginner scenarios stop and the intermediate scenarios begin? Dinky Park?
Beginner parks are Forest Frontiers, Dynamite Dunes, Leafy Lake, Diamond Heights (the best one), Evergreen Gardens, Bumbly Beach
Then intermediary has Trinity Island, Katie's Dreamland, then Pokey/Dinky Park.
WTF
more like queefy lake
cool, but for me; it's gin, tonic and ass loads of lemon
Have a good one, fren
actually unreal that Chris Sawyer wrote his rollercoaster physics engine with straight assembly
