Say what you want about Paldeas gym leaders but atleast they where mostly tough, four of them I didn't beat on my first try, two of them took multiple tries, two other gym leaders I beat on my first try but I nearly lost.

nah the gen 9 gym leader theme kind of sucks its beaten by every other gym leader theme except gen 6(i had to re-listen to gen 6s theme to give it a chance and yeah no its like gen 8 only gen 8 actually made it good and i forgot gen 7 doesn't have gym leaders)

gen 9 gym leader theme is alright
but in terms of tiers
gen 6s theme is bad
gen 9s theme is meh
the rest are pretty good(not going to order them because its irrelevant to my point)

What the frick, how? Not only does the game have forced exp share and friendship bonuses, you're also stuck on Set mode. The only "gym leader" that gave me trouble was the poison dude form team star and that's only because the Revaroom is buffed to shit and I intentionally had to handicap myself by putting all my good Pokemon in the box and using by B team because Exp all over leveled all my Pokemon because I had the audacity to work on the dex during the main story.
For real, how are people bad at these games?
