Sort of. See if she simply excelled at helping to loop, then that alone would make her exceptional. But she can't. A lot of Quick Servants can't loop even with Double Skadi. This is because Quick is inherently suboptimal for looping. Currently in NA, there are no AoE Sabers, Casters or Assassins who can loop with Double Skadi. And even Achilles has a tough with just Skadi alone.
On the other hand, it's the inverse with Castro. There are relatively few Arts Servants who CAN'T loop with her.
Most AoE Arts Servants should be able to loop with minimal requirements with Double Castro. Only a select few can't do it without extra help.
LOTS of servants can loop with Black Grail on and combat uniform so if you use a CE you can probably get away with just about anything.

You already have Castoria. Castoria has 50% charge whenever you need it, increases NP gain from arts hits, and increases Arts effectiveness, which ALSO counts towards NP gain from arts hits.
Next you need a servant with an AoE arts NP which hits more than once. Every servant has a different NP gain from hits and they gain double as much NP if they're overkilling.
The servant having NP gain up, charge, or arts up is also a big plus counting towards their compatibility.
The final goal is making them build 100% gauge back with every NP. This is not as difficult as it sounds since a lot of this stuff is not multiplicative. Artoria's buffs by themselves are usually not enough, but after those the servant just needs a little nudge from somewhere. Just using her atk up skill if they build back 70% or charging the rest with battery/clothes is fine. >examples of compatible servants: Summer Kiara, Hokusai, Jason, Summer Musashi, Odysseus, Vritra, Summer Jeanne, Emiya, Paracelsus, Space Ishtar...
Third is utility depending on node and servant you are using. In some cases it needs to be a second Castoria from support. In the last few years, they like to specifically put a single enemy node into the farming nodes so you won't be able to refill your entire gauge with an AoE NP. In that case you can switch, or just put in a a kaleidoscoped ST berserker or something since you only need to loop AoE twice.

You usually want NP charge CE, but pretty often you don't need that depending on how you are pressing the skills. If you don't need the NP charge, anything that gives arts up or NP gain up is good.
Kaleido won't be such a big deal especially after they introduce Append Skill, which will basically give every servant in the game 20% starting gauge.
As for your specific servants >Summer Morded is REALLY good for this, she builds like 200% now and then >Vlad NP is single target, but if he can hit with a regular arts card after the NP, he will build it right to full. Nitocris, at least the Caster version, has a self-charge that can go beyond 100%. Logically speaking, she's not gonna insta-kill every time so in spite of not being practical in regards to refund-oriented NP looping, she still has far greater compatibility with Castro than the likes of Shiki.

It kinda depends. Merlin is an extremely flexible and versatile Buster support overall so there are certain scenarios where he might be more useful than Koyanskaya or Oberon. With Oberon in particular, you REALLY want to end the fight within four turns, but sometimes that might not be possible with what's available. Merlin is for those fights that are engineered to not allow you to win in a few turns.
With Castoria he's no longer top dog. He's still #2 since he still has a stacked as frick NP with his ususal bullshit. Skadi is meant more for Quick abuse, and Waver is waver.
Thats because nowadays is about multi spam NP which Merlin can't do. Merlin big powers were one hit truck but thats out since most bosses has multiple HP bar
In JP kind of, koyanskaya and oberon are better supports for buster
also they surpass Merlin. If you want to be defensive Castoria is better.
Merlin is meant to be used in hard fights. Castoria/Skadi are meant to be used for 3T farming.
You certainly farm much more than you face hard fights in FGO, but when they do come around, then using Merlin is a great choice.

Castoria has a invul that cannot be pieced and overcharge can make it turn into a 5 hit invul. Merlins invul cannot be spammed like castoria can.
Castoria is the best support because she not only usable in farming but also high difficulty ones. She can two invicibility, one in her np that cannot be dispelled nor pierced and a regular one as targeteable skill. The one in her np last one hit but can be extended if overcharge.

The problem is the concept seems kinda pointless what with Richard and Gray around. Richard's schtick is turning anything into a bootleg Excalibur, while Gray is basically a bootleg Saber.

Even NP Gain Up can't necessarily save all Quick Servants. Quick is fundamentally the weakest of the three card types, so she'll always be inferior to her peers.

Replace Skadi with Tamamo or double Castria. Ideally double Castria but if that's not alone, then Tamamo can help Castria NP and use her skills more often. Skadi doesn't really help this team much.

Remember not to just use Servant coins all willy-nilly. Later on we'll get Holy Grail Casting. You use 2000 Servant Coins to craft one Holy Grail, and you can craft up to two per month. So don't use any of those Jekyll Coins or Gilles Coins. You can turn them into valuable Grails.

I think Caesar's ideal role is someone who talks his way to victory, since that seems to be what he prefers. So he buffs the party and debuffs the enemy with raw charisma. That's what he'd wanna be. He doesn't actually like being a Saber and he feels that while he's a skilled fighter, the front line probably isn't his best application.
I don't really care about castoria, Medea lilly, Illya and Merlin are already way too op, and most of my friend list goes for the uber 5 stars so I'll get a full army of castorias ready just as I already do with Merlin.
plus, 5 NP Miyu is already in my bench waiting for the upgrade that makes her bootleg-castoria
Anyone can carry anyone in this game. Is not about difficulty is about wait less clicks or tap, less turns in killing anemies. The meta is about killing 3 round in 3 turns without having to constantly swap characters. Is less time wasting better farming time and optimal for most bosses.
Double Castella + Tamamo is the most degenerate stall team. Never do it, it's the worst. I mean you're not gonna die, sure, but that shit's gonna take an eternity.

Because it's inconvenient to fix. This isn't just loading up a document and replacing all instances of "Altria" with "Artoria". It'd actually be an insane hassle, and frankly, not worth the effort for a Japanese company who has a long-standing history of not giving a shit about what people outside their country's borders want.
They had no problem doing it when they decided Meltlilith was actually Meltryills and nips were confused why her name was changing on all their shit.
Also standardizing Altria is comparatively recent to be honest. You can find tons of merch from years ago that says Artoria. I think even some TM stuff.
I think it's down to the difference in the scale of Type-Moon's operations now. They're not really at a level anymore where they can just randomly decide to change merchandise and trademarks whenever. There was a fairly major scale shift between Fate/EXTRA CCC and FGO.
And, again, remember, it's fundamentally not worth the hassle anymore. The only people who have an issue with Altria are native English speakers.

You know I keep forgetting Iskandar was in the game. And I have him. He spooked me, I think it was a GSSR or something, but I know I never deliberately rolled for him. There was a time when he was super popular, but those days have long passed I guess.
He used to be super popular though, I remember this. Deermud too actually. I dunno, I don't really have that much fondness for the Zero Servants so maybe it's just me. Personally, I like Finn McCool more than Deermud.
Yeah, but he's a good fricking cruise missile. He hits harder at NP1 than any other Rider except Ivan does at NP5. He can't participate in the loop meta but when I just want a final wave with lots of HP to die then he's still my go-to.
He's got a bit of a niche in nodes with mismatched wave sizes (e.g. 3/1/1) for being able to clear a wave while buffing your other attacker(s) - two partywide 20% buffs, one of which is NP damage, is pretty decent - and yeah he really does hit like a freight train. Definitely nothing special overall but I got him while rolling for Lancelots and have been pleasantly surprised sometimes.
That's the thing though, Zero used to be fricking massive once. I think it eclipsed Fate/stay night in popularity for a period, but that time seems to have passed.
Also, Ionioi Hetairoi used to be this super-awesome, amazing and unique NP, but since then we've learned there are others like it. Darius III has Athanaton Ten Thousand, but I think the creme of the crop is likely Jason's Astrápste Argo. While it has the caveat that the Argonauts don't necessarily HAVE to answer Jason's call, and how they respond to him is largely dependent on whether he's being righteous or not, but a single Argonaut is probably worth a thousand of Iskandar's troops. The Argonauts are among the greatest of Greek heroes. Summoning Heracles alone would be too much for Ionioi Hetairoi.
No. There's an app that lets you auto-battle sort of called Fate/Grand Automata. It presses the buttons you want it to press when you want it to press them. It has absolutely no flexibility but it also showcases why FGO doesn't have native auto-battle. In order for FGO to have native auto-battle, you are pretty much gonna have to dictate exactly what the Servants do in each turn, and it will always perform the exact same actions over and for each fight. This is the only reasonable way for FGO to have auto battle, nothing else would work for it, and that's what FGA does.

Oberon is extremely good but I wouldn't prioritize him over Koyanskaya. In some ways he's better than Koyanskaya, but it's also better to have both him and Koyanskaya if you want him. He doesn't work with Merlin because he has a passive that specifically fricks with Merlin's skills.
This was actually a nice opportunity. I get to NP5 Red Hare and NP3 Asclepius as well. Really wish I got extra copies of Bedivere and Salieri but I can't complain since I got my main goal.

She's the single best servant in the game. It might not feel like it for a while until you can build her up and get a decent roster, but you'll be very glad you have her eventually.
Indeed there are disgusting amount of things you can do with almost any arts servant if you own her and get a support to double her.

No, just her is fine. The problem is she needs some late game materials to be fully upgraded so it'll be a while until she's at full power for you. Consider it a long term investment. You won't really need her right at the start, since you can plough through most of the early story just by getting the biggest, angriest Berserker you can find from your support list and having them unga everything down for you.
Did they increase the rates of 4* servant drops while decreasing the rates for 5* CEs? It sure felt like it since I got five 4* servants from 20 tickets and 150 quartz while I never saw a single 5* CE.
Well, they never mentioned anything like that so I'm inclined to believe it's just luck, but I had a very similar experience to you oddly enough. These are the friends that came along the way over the 270 SQ I'll probably never use any of them but extra interlude SQ is nice and I only got one copy of the rate up 5* CE. Pretty strange.

Not only did i not get her, i managed to get frick all. Think i pulled 1 4* star Harpy who i never saw in the game once, another literally who 4 star assassin girl with purple hair that didn't tell me her true name. And i got 2 5 star CE's which let me start with 50% NP, to lessen the blow a bit.
Everything else were the same 3 star and below servants and CE's. I feel pissed, why did i even save these, quartz are fricking worthless.

There are a couple setups you can use with her for buster or quick servants to 3 turn, but you can't loop. Artscucking is way easier and it's the intended way to use her.
Thankfully, there are a ton of characters you can use: Salieri, space Ishtar, Sieg, Fionn, Summer melt, Chen Gong, hell you can even loop with Caster Gil with the right mystic code.
Use some of the budget options like Sieg, Chen Gong or Fionn if you don't have a lot of arts loopers or look up comps if your account is good. There are a ton of options.
You need to own at least a Waver and Castoria for it to work

Also, the feeling of seeing 200mil+ qp disappearing within few minutes fills me with really weird feelings, no matter how many times I do it.
I beat the entire story with just bronze servants to see if it's possible. Self-imposed challenges like that make it significantly more moronic though, and expose the pretty big cracks in basic game design once you start paying attention to the way encounters are actually put together. Trying to beat Old Li and Mothman without Salome was just bullshit, now she even makes bronze runs too easy.
It's interesting that the trend in story is giving you a lot of story supports like you're not going to just blast through everything with a borrowed Merlin. I guess they want to show them off more, which makes them design increasingly contrived encounters just to make a specific servant shine. Like Castoria autocasting skills in LB6 was just absurd.
Going into encounters entirely blind already exposes the fricking homosexualry in the gameplay. >Pop an HP bar. >OOPS time to wipe your entire party, you should have put invincibility on before wiping the bar 🙂

The game is technically designed so that you can beat most quests with bronze Servants, but the reality is that not all bronze Servants are viable. Some are worthless, some like ol' George there are good. If you actually want to use bronze Servants for everything, you do have to know which bronze Servants are actually good enough for the role.
Making Avenger the shittiest servant is brilliant even if I can’t use him. Love that they care about FHA enough to do that. Making Gilgamesh’s NP EA makes sense in a gameplay level, but seeing him use it on shitter monsters bothers me.

There's a lot of neat things they could do, easter eggs that would have the NPs be more sensible.
Reality marbles like UBW and Ionioi Hetairoi should change the background graphic and music for 3 turns and give the servants a slight attack boost while changed.

Yes. She singlehandedly destroys every other support currently in the game. She can give 50% charge to a target like Waver; She can give a massive card type steroid to a target like Tamamo and Skadi; She can give NP gain up to a target like bawd Nero; She can provide a form of invinvibility like Merlin

If you lack eggs just dump all of your Clear Prisms into them in the CP shop. There is no greater priority than her.
What’s the minimum skill level for looping? I can get 1 skill to 10 and another to 9, dunno about the third skill, probably 7. This is with pure prisms btw.
Really hard to say because they are all tightly interlinked to provide the looping required.
I would imagine its the NP Gain skill thats needed the most to enable loops. It has a 20% battery on it too. After that its probably the Steroid and finally the Charisma. The charisma has the big 30% NP charge on it to get you started so if you are lacking the charge there then I guess you can use a 50% Arts CE like Dive to Blue or Painting Summer to get you over the line
So tl;dr: You need all of them but where you absolutely cant its 2 > 3 > 1

Yes but he's kinda jank as frick. He can turn his NP into Arts for one turn but that's really it, so you can't actually rely exclusively on Castro to make him work. He kinda needs some starting charge in order to function, but the idea with him is that you pop his Buster NP for the first round, change his NP to Arts and use Castro to buff his Arts and NP gain for the second, and then for the third you use Buster support like Merlin, Koyanskaya or Oberon and use his Buster NP for the third. It's not really optimal but frankly, your only other accessible option for a similar role is Atalante.

Yeah and increases his max triple card boost from 40 percent to 50 percent. A lot of servants are getting rank ups but the FSN servants get absolutely cracked. Sad they ignored Medusa tho, Chu’s rank up is fricking ridiculous so they could’ve easily made Medusa better too.

Tier 1 Servants are indispensable, you'd use them even if you're a whale, the creme of the crop among Bronze Servants and comparable to Gold Servants if you know how to use them.
Tier 2 Servants are all Supports. They're considered very good for their rarities, but their usefulness does drop off if you have meta supports.
Tier 3 is where things start getting somewhat rough. As far as low-luck budget accounts go, these are all relatively good picks, but this is where you start running into some fairly heavy competition from accessible 3-Star Servants. Leonidas, for instance, would be pretty decent in a vacuum, but the problem is you would never prioritize him over Cu Chulainn. Spartacus is a very good farmer thanks to his NP charge, but it's not that hard to get your hands on something better eventually, and once you do he starts falling off. Likewise, Mary Anning is a decent Arts farmer with the standard "For a Bronze Servant" disclaimer.
Tier 4 is at the limit. You would generally ONLY use these Servants if you insist on not using anything of a higher rarity, or if you REALLY fricking like Corday.
Tier 5 is the bottom of the barrel, the worst the game has to offer. Benkei MIGHT be almost okay if George or Leonidas didn't exist, but even then he's not ideal.
Tier X consists of Servants who are mostly useless but seriously useful in limited circumstances.

Tamamo + Friend's Castro can more or less fulfill most of your Arts Farming needs. Summer Artlia, Vlad and Summer Mordred can function just fine with this set-up. Saber Ryougi is far less effective because of her insta-kill; NP refund only occurs with damage calculation, but Saber Ryougi's insta-kill procs BEFORE damage calculation, so if it does proc, it means she gets no refund. This issue plagues any Servant with insta-kill effects.
Merlin is mostly for challenge quests.
If you have Skadi, you can pull a Double Skadi engine so if you have Parvati, Valkyrie or Lancelot, you can loop.

You already have Castoria. Castoria has 50% charge whenever you need it, increases NP gain from arts hits, and increases Arts effectiveness, which ALSO counts towards NP gain from arts hits.
Next you need a servant with an AoE arts NP which hits more than once. Every servant has a different NP gain from hits and they gain double as much NP if they're overkilling.
The servant having NP gain up, charge, or arts up is also a big plus counting towards their compatibility.
The final goal is making them build 100% gauge back with every NP. This is not as difficult as it sounds since a lot of this stuff is not multiplicative. Artoria's buffs by themselves are usually not enough, but after those the servant just needs a little nudge from somewhere. Just using her atk up skill if they build back 70% or charging the rest with battery/clothes is fine.

Third is utility depending on node and servant you are using. In some cases it needs to be a second Castoria from support. In the last few years, they like to specifically put a single enemy node into the farming nodes so you won't be able to refill your entire gauge with an AoE NP. In that case you can switch, or just put in a a kaleidoscoped ST berserker or something since you only need to loop AoE twice.

You usually want NP charge CE, but pretty often you don't need that depending on how you are pressing the skills. If you don't need the NP charge, anything that gives arts up or NP gain up is good.
Kaleido won't be such a big deal especially after they introduce Append Skill, which will basically give every servant in the game 20% starting gauge.
As for your specific servants

Nitocris, at least the Caster version, has a self-charge that can go beyond 100%. Logically speaking, she's not gonna insta-kill every time so in spite of not being practical in regards to refund-oriented NP looping, she still has far greater compatibility with Castro than the likes of Shiki.

Get yourself a Himiko and you get the ultimate turtle team Castoria/Merlin/Himiko. Too bad the CQs still favors burst teams so Koyanskaya/Oberon are the broken duo for offensive support.
It kinda depends. Merlin is an extremely flexible and versatile Buster support overall so there are certain scenarios where he might be more useful than Koyanskaya or Oberon. With Oberon in particular, you REALLY want to end the fight within four turns, but sometimes that might not be possible with what's available. Merlin is for those fights that are engineered to not allow you to win in a few turns.
With Castoria he's no longer top dog. He's still #2 since he still has a stacked as frick NP with his ususal bullshit. Skadi is meant more for Quick abuse, and Waver is waver.
Tamamo is the one that hangs herself off this.
Nah, if anything Castoria gives a frickload of value to Tamamo. Use her with two Castorias and a Plugsuit and you will arts meme for days

Merlin is meant to be used in hard fights. Castoria/Skadi are meant to be used for 3T farming.
You certainly farm much more than you face hard fights in FGO, but when they do come around, then using Merlin is a great choice.

Castoria has a invul that cannot be pieced and overcharge can make it turn into a 5 hit invul. Merlins invul cannot be spammed like castoria can.
Castoria is the best support because she not only usable in farming but also high difficulty ones. She can two invicibility, one in her np that cannot be dispelled nor pierced and a regular one as targeteable skill. The one in her np last one hit but can be extended if overcharge.

Can Skadi be saved?
Only if she got an NP Gain Up attached to her Quick steroid. But to be honest, the fundamental issue with Skadi is the fact that she's dedicated Quick support. Even NP Gain Up can't necessarily save all Quick Servants. Quick is fundamentally the weakest of the three card types, so she'll always be inferior to her peers.

Sort of. See if she simply excelled at helping to loop, then that alone would make her exceptional. But she can't. A lot of Quick Servants can't loop even with Double Skadi. This is because Quick is inherently suboptimal for looping. Currently in NA, there are no AoE Sabers, Casters or Assassins who can loop with Double Skadi. And even Achilles has a tough with just Skadi alone.
On the other hand, it's the inverse with Castro. There are relatively few Arts Servants who CAN'T loop with her.
It also doesn't help that the devs deliberately nerfed Quick AoE servants that released after her with low NP hitcounts/low NP gain. An NP Gain buff would help, but I'm not sure if it'd help the likes of Bradamante loop.
If you wait one year more they will make better Quick character.
Skadi-Merlin-Castoria is a fantastic stall team for those instant death bosses like Li Shuwen
Replace Skadi with Tamamo or double Castria. Ideally double Castria but if that's not alone, then Tamamo can help Castria NP and use her skills more often. Skadi doesn't really help this team much.

Remember not to just use Servant coins all willy-nilly. Later on we'll get Holy Grail Casting. You use 2000 Servant Coins to craft one Holy Grail, and you can craft up to two per month. So don't use any of those Jekyll Coins or Gilles Coins. You can turn them into valuable Grails.

I think Caesar's ideal role is someone who talks his way to victory, since that seems to be what he prefers. So he buffs the party and debuffs the enemy with raw charisma. That's what he'd wanna be. He doesn't actually like being a Saber and he feels that while he's a skilled fighter, the front line probably isn't his best application.

Anyone can carry anyone in this game. Is not about difficulty is about wait less clicks or tap, less turns in killing anemies. The meta is about killing 3 round in 3 turns without having to constantly swap characters. Is less time wasting better farming time and optimal for most bosses.

You know I keep forgetting Iskandar was in the game. And I have him. He spooked me, I think it was a GSSR or something, but I know I never deliberately rolled for him. There was a time when he was super popular, but those days have long passed I guess.
He was never particularly awesome. His NP is sort of a one and done cruise missile and his kit doesn't have any other real value.
He used to be super popular though, I remember this. Deermud too actually. I dunno, I don't really have that much fondness for the Zero Servants so maybe it's just me. Personally, I like Finn McCool more than Deermud.
Yeah, but he's a good fricking cruise missile. He hits harder at NP1 than any other Rider except Ivan does at NP5. He can't participate in the loop meta but when I just want a final wave with lots of HP to die then he's still my go-to.
He's got a bit of a niche in nodes with mismatched wave sizes (e.g. 3/1/1) for being able to clear a wave while buffing your other attacker(s) - two partywide 20% buffs, one of which is NP damage, is pretty decent - and yeah he really does hit like a freight train. Definitely nothing special overall but I got him while rolling for Lancelots and have been pleasantly surprised sometimes.

Also, Ionioi Hetairoi used to be this super-awesome, amazing and unique NP, but since then we've learned there are others like it. Darius III has Athanaton Ten Thousand, but I think the creme of the crop is likely Jason's Astrápste Argo. While it has the caveat that the Argonauts don't necessarily HAVE to answer Jason's call, and how they respond to him is largely dependent on whether he's being righteous or not, but a single Argonaut is probably worth a thousand of Iskandar's troops. The Argonauts are among the greatest of Greek heroes. Summoning Heracles alone would be too much for Ionioi Hetairoi.

No. There's an app that lets you auto-battle sort of called Fate/Grand Automata. It presses the buttons you want it to press when you want it to press them. It has absolutely no flexibility but it also showcases why FGO doesn't have native auto-battle. In order for FGO to have native auto-battle, you are pretty much gonna have to dictate exactly what the Servants do in each turn, and it will always perform the exact same actions over and for each fight. This is the only reasonable way for FGO to have auto battle, nothing else would work for it, and that's what FGA does.

Oberon is extremely good but I wouldn't prioritize him over Koyanskaya. In some ways he's better than Koyanskaya, but it's also better to have both him and Koyanskaya if you want him. He doesn't work with Merlin because he has a passive that specifically fricks with Merlin's skills.

Most AoE Arts Servants should be able to loop with minimal requirements with Double Castro. Only a select few can't do it without extra help.
LOTS of servants can loop with Black Grail on and combat uniform so if you use a CE you can probably get away with just about anything.

She's the single best servant in the game. It might not feel like it for a while until you can build her up and get a decent roster, but you'll be very glad you have her eventually.

No, just her is fine. The problem is she needs some late game materials to be fully upgraded so it'll be a while until she's at full power for you. Consider it a long term investment. You won't really need her right at the start, since you can plough through most of the early story just by getting the biggest, angriest Berserker you can find from your support list and having them unga everything down for you.
Remember if you don't get her then she refused to be summer by you and thinks you are a ugly pathetic loser.

There are a couple setups you can use with her for buster or quick servants to 3 turn, but you can't loop. Artscucking is way easier and it's the intended way to use her.
Thankfully, there are a ton of characters you can use: Salieri, space Ishtar, Sieg, Fionn, Summer melt, Chen Gong, hell you can even loop with Caster Gil with the right mystic code.
Use some of the budget options like Sieg, Chen Gong or Fionn if you don't have a lot of arts loopers or look up comps if your account is good. There are a ton of options.

The only real strategy in FGO is "How can I beat this relatively tough challenge quest/boss without using command spells?"
I beat the entire story with just bronze servants to see if it's possible. Self-imposed challenges like that make it significantly more moronic though, and expose the pretty big cracks in basic game design once you start paying attention to the way encounters are actually put together. Trying to beat Old Li and Mothman without Salome was just bullshit, now she even makes bronze runs too easy.
It's interesting that the trend in story is giving you a lot of story supports like you're not going to just blast through everything with a borrowed Merlin. I guess they want to show them off more, which makes them design increasingly contrived encounters just to make a specific servant shine. Like Castoria autocasting skills in LB6 was just absurd.
Going into encounters entirely blind already exposes the fricking homosexualry in the gameplay.

The game is technically designed so that you can beat most quests with bronze Servants, but the reality is that not all bronze Servants are viable. Some are worthless, some like ol' George there are good. If you actually want to use bronze Servants for everything, you do have to know which bronze Servants are actually good enough for the role.

Making Avenger the shittiest servant is brilliant even if I can’t use him. Love that they care about FHA enough to do that. Making Gilgamesh’s NP EA makes sense in a gameplay level, but seeing him use it on shitter monsters bothers me.
There's a lot of neat things they could do, easter eggs that would have the NPs be more sensible.
Reality marbles like UBW and Ionioi Hetairoi should change the background graphic and music for 3 turns and give the servants a slight attack boost while changed.
Gil could have a different, simpler NP animation for monsters that does effectively the same damage but be a different weapon.
It's bad writing, but Guda brings out the best in their servants, even managing to temper Gil's ego.
I mean, there's a goddamn Beast in Chaldea not killing anybody. That's how effective the Master is at bringing every single heroic spirit into a neutral state.

I rolled for Protea last week and ended up getting Her, Passion, Melty, and Suzuka within 3 summons and I feel like I exhausted all my gacha luck for the year right then and I'm scared to push my luck.

Yes. She singlehandedly destroys every other support currently in the game. She can give 50% charge to a target like Waver; She can give a massive card type steroid to a target like Tamamo and Skadi; She can give NP gain up to a target like bawd Nero; She can provide a form of invinvibility like Merlin

There isnt one. Level all three up immediately. Its a very rare situation where each skill is 100% integral to how she plays and each is as important as the other.
If you lack eggs just dump all of your Clear Prisms into them in the CP shop. There is no greater priority than her.

What’s the minimum skill level for looping? I can get 1 skill to 10 and another to 9, dunno about the third skill, probably 7. This is with pure prisms btw.
I'd say the steroid is priority, followed by NP battery then finally her atk buff
Really hard to say because they are all tightly interlinked to provide the looping required.
I would imagine its the NP Gain skill thats needed the most to enable loops. It has a 20% battery on it too. After that its probably the Steroid and finally the Charisma. The charisma has the big 30% NP charge on it to get you started so if you are lacking the charge there then I guess you can use a 50% Arts CE like Dive to Blue or Painting Summer to get you over the line
So tl;dr: You need all of them but where you absolutely cant its 2 > 3 > 1

I don't know anything about Castoria other than she's a big deal, also didn't finish the Zeus fights yet, couldn't be assed to keep playing.

She can make almost any Arts Servant who's not Erice or Shuten-Douji consistently loop. She's basically a better Skadi.

Yes but he's kinda jank as frick. He can turn his NP into Arts for one turn but that's really it, so you can't actually rely exclusively on Castro to make him work. He kinda needs some starting charge in order to function, but the idea with him is that you pop his Buster NP for the first round, change his NP to Arts and use Castro to buff his Arts and NP gain for the second, and then for the third you use Buster support like Merlin, Koyanskaya or Oberon and use his Buster NP for the third. It's not really optimal but frankly, your only other accessible option for a similar role is Atalante.

Yeah and increases his max triple card boost from 40 percent to 50 percent. A lot of servants are getting rank ups but the FSN servants get absolutely cracked. Sad they ignored Medusa tho, Chu’s rank up is fricking ridiculous so they could’ve easily made Medusa better too.
That too but, again, it's only good for turn 1. So unless you bring multiple top tier Buster supports for the third round, he's actually gonna be doing the most damage in the second, which isn't normally where you want to be maxing out your damage on.

Tier 1 Servants are indispensable, you'd use them even if you're a whale, the creme of the crop among Bronze Servants and comparable to Gold Servants if you know how to use them.
Tier 2 Servants are all Supports. They're considered very good for their rarities, but their usefulness does drop off if you have meta supports.
Tier 3 is where things start getting somewhat rough. As far as low-luck budget accounts go, these are all relatively good picks, but this is where you start running into some fairly heavy competition from accessible 3-Star Servants. Leonidas, for instance, would be pretty decent in a vacuum, but the problem is you would never prioritize him over Cu Chulainn. Spartacus is a very good farmer thanks to his NP charge, but it's not that hard to get your hands on something better eventually, and once you do he starts falling off. Likewise, Mary Anning is a decent Arts farmer with the standard "For a Bronze Servant" disclaimer.
Tier 4 is at the limit. You would generally ONLY use these Servants if you insist on not using anything of a higher rarity, or if you REALLY fricking like Corday.
Tier 5 is the bottom of the barrel, the worst the game has to offer. Benkei MIGHT be almost okay if George or Leonidas didn't exist, but even then he's not ideal.
Tier X consists of Servants who are mostly useless but seriously useful in limited circumstances.
I never really saw the point in using 1/2* characters, other than literally having nobody or want to do meme comps.

i like using mata hari but you can get fricked hard by bad draws.
Her NP debuffs lasting one turn also hurts.
I like using Mata Hari because she's got huge breasts and I want her to get a summer version

Please before this thread dies tell me how to set up a good arts team with servants like Waver, Tamamo, Merlin, skadi, Summer Altria,Vlad, Saber ryougi and Summer Mordred

Tamamo + Friend's Castro can more or less fulfill most of your Arts Farming needs. Summer Artlia, Vlad and Summer Mordred can function just fine with this set-up. Saber Ryougi is far less effective because of her insta-kill; NP refund only occurs with damage calculation, but Saber Ryougi's insta-kill procs BEFORE damage calculation, so if it does proc, it means she gets no refund. This issue plagues any Servant with insta-kill effects.
Merlin is mostly for challenge quests.
If you have Skadi, you can pull a Double Skadi engine so if you have Parvati, Valkyrie or Lancelot, you can loop.
