To drive a real truck you need to have your standard drivers license in addition to some years of experience before attempting to obtain a trucking license. And if you want to transport cool things like dangerous materials you need more licenses that cost money. Why do all of that when I can do it for free in the cyber space?
if you're in a truck it's not for you to worry about traffic, they gotta worry about you
it's hard to explain how unkillable you feel in a truck irl, it's probably close to what it's like to sit in a tank
You don't know shit. You absolutely have to worry about the numerous morons on the road. Not only crashing fricks up your schedule, it also hikes up your insurance rating, threatens your job and if you own your truck, also repairs and downtime when it's at the shop. All that even if it wasn't your fault. Being a driving wagie fricking sucks.
t. 4 years of trucking in the summer between college semesters
Doesnt matter, when you are working as a trucker, you are the professional. Even if someone blatantly breaks the law and hits you, its entirely possible for an insurance company to frick you over and say it was an avoidable accident on your part.
I have no idea how pilots fly through tiny ass gaps. At least when driving the width of the car fits into your field of view
real pilots don't. its a needless risk that maybe only professional stunt pilots do. A better real world example of what you are talking about would be oversize truck drivers.
you cant be serious.
no vr, graphics aged like milk, truck physics completely off, no wheel support, no jobs, no cargo, no real trucks, no cabin view or customization. just admit your computer cant run ats.
i loved playing truck sims in san andreas when i was a kid, though it would get boring quick as you would travel to the same places over and over, map expansions would be sick tho
>why do people like shooters? just join the american police >why do people like farming simulators? just buy 100 acres of land and become a farmer >why do people like playing pokemon? just collect and careful real animals
NO
i genuinely dont get how people drive massive fricking trucks, i am an austist who got his license at like age 23 and havent driven much in the years i have had it. I still get freaked out over the size of my sedan and don't have a firm spatial sense of the cars place in the physical world around me, couldnt even imagine a frickin big rig.
>why do people like this? Just pay 5 grand to get your truck license, get addicted to uppers, sit in a donut for days on end with little to no other human contact and piss in bottles to meet timetables with little sleep
I want a truck simulator like game but with a spooky edge to it. Like as little Easter eggs you could spot a UFO or see something dart across the road at night. Get me a radio and ability for it to always be raining and you have the perfect game.

because traffic in real life is stressful

it really is a teenagers view of how driving works. "im the bigger car" is all they can think.
You won't be a trucker for long with that mindset. The company doesn't want drivers that increase their insurance premiums

No one is going to frick with a truck unless they're too dumb to live.
>yeah bro just drive right through the traffic jam and pass red lights bro nobody's going to do anything
First Person Shooters - why do people like these games, just shoot real people
same shit goes for sports lmao
its just fat fricks/alcoholics that can't into real life fun
I like road trips and I feel like these games do a good job at simulating European/American countrysides. I wish The Crew was better
I would love a new the crew with jobs and stuff
Crew 2 was such a step-down in every way. They downgraded the map and added pointless planes and boat shit.
I'm more surprised these morons were buying those and it's DLCs instead of playing San Andreas and mod that shit for the same experience.

San Andreas lets you murder hookers, a feature gravely missing in the truck sims

I don't have to deal with Indians in ETS2

It's just a car with a small turn delay
God you sound like such a pussy.
what because i havent driven as much as you? Have you driven a semi before, tough guy?
>why do people like this? Just pay 5 grand to get your truck license, get addicted to uppers, sit in a donut for days on end with little to no other human contact and piss in bottles to meet timetables with little sleep
Because I don't get to drive with reckless abandon in real life anon.
propeller go brrrrrrr

Can't drive the real truck drunk as frick.
I'm more of a Farm Simulator guy. I only play it because I will probably never afford to start a farm IRL.
