In my headcanon, complete Mound would be maximum acceleration of all natural processes. Death of sentient life, but the world lives on. Incomplete would be as you say, it would be basically the Stranger's first encounter but on the scale of the universe, hell.

You worked to bring her all the perspectives, so it must mean you care enough about her existence to continue on, whether to slay her or save her. Even with the knife in the Final Cabin, you don't get to option to properly die; she just lets you go back to the start again.

I think I have to agree, especially with the ending you get when you refuse to bring her vessels. At the end, when she is no longer able to weave a new world you have the option to struggle to continue or to give up. You can keep struggling, which results in nothing changing as it is to late. Or you can give up, which results in the final death of her and the long quiet.

That's a good point. Complete Mound has already become dependent on you by her awakening so she can't exist apart from you. Yang is already trying to lock on to Yin. Quiet doesn't awaken until you either merge with her, or kill her, so you have the possibility of living on without her. I'm just writing bullshit now because it's 3 in the morning and I have to work in 5 hours but basically what I mean by this, and assuming the Narrator to mean a comprehensive truth when he says that Mound is "Transformation, Flow", is that change is just a made up concept related to the perception of sentient life.
If you came into existence at this point and observed your surroundings, you wouldn't think of change, because you are just now perceiving them for the first time. You wouldn'tt have a baseline to compare to. But that lack of baseline is exactly how nature (I mean physical phenomenon not animals) works, there is no physical ocurrence that directly relies on a prior state, there is only the present moment. Prior states lead to it but not do not influence it once it is born, if you get what I mean.
This results in some irony to the Narrator's plan of killing change just to avoid "death" (once again an impure concept derived from time, that's tainted by the perception of sentients), since as Hero says at one point, doing nothing (=doing the same exact shit forever) can't even be called life. Because change is an integral part of life, it is even life that gives birth to the concept of change.
Without the Mound, there is only the existence of non-living matter, which Quiet embodies (see Moment of Clarity - "Your body is dead, but you (Long Quiet) live on")

True, though I think that their skill at making VNs has improved massively between the two. Playing through SH felt significantly more linear with most of the branch points being clearly signposted in the earlier chapters, while StP was a lot more fluid and subtle (eg, you can get forked down Spectre, Razor or Adversary purely based on (explore) options while following the same series of actions, and the game never makes it obvious you're Marking A Decision when you do).

This is a stupid game. I followed instructions and killed the woman, only thing I got was something that looked like it was drawn by a child, then it spit me back to the main menu.
Immediately uninstalled afterwards. There's zero challenge and the waifu isn't even that memorable, only redditors could get enjoyment out of something like this
You can view it two ways: either that dicking is good enough to make her involuntarily weep, or that she's shedding tears of joy at the intimacy you guys share
People really liked her demo version. There's not as much love for the main game version because it's not really a route: the one time you actually get to talk to her is one line before she gets hands'd.
I wouldn't say that's her, though -- it's an extension of the Shifting Mound, just like the other Princesses you meet at the final cabin. Stranger really got shafted in the main game: it's like if Nightmare only had the Moment of Clarity to her route.
She only has a personality in her ending, and you don't get that one unless you leave the cabin on your first loop, and not many first time players are going to choose 'leave'. Which is a shame because it's super cute how happy she is when you choose to leave with her, even though she looks so freakish. She even cries when you tell her that you love her, the other Princesses don't do that.
While I understand that I think Prisoner-lite Princess has a cuter ending there with her just agreeing that she doesn't want to be a god either and having a little bit of Witch/Thorn's Tsun in there still with her not wanting to be too sappy when you say you love her.

In the "game" folder there will be an rpa file called "archive". You will need to extract it with a program but once you do, it will give you a folder called "scripts".
Inside this folder, all the dialogue in the game will be in the various rpy files.

In my headcanon, complete Mound would be maximum acceleration of all natural processes. Death of sentient life, but the world lives on. Incomplete would be as you say, it would be basically the Stranger's first encounter but on the scale of the universe, hell.
Adding to this, basically what the Contrarian said in that route. if everything happens, nothing happens. So incomplete Mound would be almost the same as just Quiet, similar effect (though I believe there would be miniscule longterm change), but opposite causes.
That's the joy of a vague ending, I suppose.

I think I have to agree, especially with the ending you get when you refuse to bring her vessels. At the end, when she is no longer able to weave a new world you have the option to struggle to continue or to give up. You can keep struggling, which results in nothing changing as it is to late. Or you can give up, which results in the final death of her and the long quiet.

That's a good point. Complete Mound has already become dependent on you by her awakening so she can't exist apart from you. Yang is already trying to lock on to Yin. Quiet doesn't awaken until you either merge with her, or kill her, so you have the possibility of living on without her. I guess that's luck in some way, since change cannot exist without perception of it (without going into the reddit quantum cat meme) but the canvas that would embody that change can.

I'm just writing bullshit now because it's 3 in the morning and I have to work in 5 hours but basically what I mean by this, and assuming the Narrator to mean a comprehensive truth when he says that Mound is "Transformation, Flow", is that change is just a made up concept related to the perception of sentient life.
If you came into existence at this point and observed your surroundings, you wouldn't think of change, because you are just now perceiving them for the first time. You wouldn'tt have a baseline to compare to. But that lack of baseline is exactly how nature (I mean physical phenomenon not animals) works, there is no physical ocurrence that directly relies on a prior state, there is only the present moment. Prior states lead to it but not do not influence it once it is born, if you get what I mean.
This results in some irony to the Narrator's plan of killing change just to avoid "death" (once again an impure concept derived from time, that's tainted by the perception of sentients), since as Hero says at one point, doing nothing (=doing the same exact shit forever) can't even be called life. Because change is an integral part of life, it is even life that gives birth to the concept of change.
Without the Mound, there is only the existence of non-living matter, which Quiet embodies (see Moment of Clarity - "Your body is dead, but you (Long Quiet) live on")

Playing through SH felt significantly more linear with most of the branch points being clearly signposted in the earlier chapters, while StP was a lot more fluid and subtle (eg, you can get forked down Spectre, Razor or Adversary purely based on (explore) options while following the same series of actions, and the game never makes it obvious you're Marking A Decision when you do).

She only has a personality in her ending, and you don't get that one unless you leave the cabin on your first loop, and not many first time players are going to choose 'leave'. Which is a shame because it's super cute how happy she is when you choose to leave with her, even though she looks so freakish. She even cries when you tell her that you love her, the other Princesses don't do that.
While I understand that I think Prisoner-lite Princess has a cuter ending there with her just agreeing that she doesn't want to be a god either and having a little bit of Witch/Thorn's Tsun in there still with her not wanting to be too sappy when you say you love her.

So any guesses as to what they're teasing at with Damsel/Prisoner/Den/Fury?

It's almost certainly related to the Queen picture that they posted on their twitter, but the question remains of how the hell you'd get that. As it's structured now there's no logical place for that to occur, he only thing I can think of right now that might make some sense is my altering the "I want you to make me unhappy" dialogue outcome so she instead kills you somehow, but that feels really specific.

The most obvious thing they could do is making the "player is too stupid to pick up on Prisoner's plan" route into its own chapter separate from Grey, but that'd mean they'd have to dummy out dialogue that already exists which seems a little weird. I guess it could be an expansion to the waiting branch, maybe make it so the player can kill themselves somehow and get a super trapped Prisoner in Chapter 3.

This feels the most clear cut. Expand the hilariously nothing route that is confronting Den in the basement.

Maybe add a way to talk her down somehow? Let the player regenerate from being exploded if they have Stubborn with them, letting us play out that scene from X-Men 3 where Logan has to kill Jean because he's the only one that can get close enough to do the deed thanks to his regeneration working faster than she can take him apart? There's a lot of potential so it's kind of hard to even guess at where they'll take it.

Fury is weird since she can be so different. Killing Tower and disappointing Adversary are very different things.
