>yet another "innovative" game that shoehorns deck building
Why are you people so obsessed with deck building games? I swear, I've seen so many games with great ideas and artstyles be nothing but a front for a deck building game. I've even saw people comment on game trailers their disappointment when a game looked great conceptually, only to be ruined when the card shit started to show up.
The only deck building game I saw that was truly kino was a cyberpunk pvp hacking game back on cellphones like over 20yr ago. You made an attack deck and a defense deck out of scripts/viruses/firewalls etc and had to hack other players, which earned you new software.
I've played this, I forget what it's called but it's a mix between a puzzle game and reading simulator. To get some optional collectibles you need to collect more enemies on your way to a point since you can't backtrack
Good idea but >Play this game >Deliberately take damage from the 1st enemy you find in game >Become turbo fast >Enemy attack animations are too slow to get you >Speedrun the whole thing >Credits roll
Intentional out of bounds clipping where scary out of bounds monsters hunt you until you find your way back inbounds. You can turn the non-horror game into a horror game any time by skewing the right type of box against yourself in a corner.
a COD mode but with thing they give drunk drivers where they have to blow on it start their car to make sure theyre sober but it's the opposite and you have to be a bit drunk to play the game
even the playing field
Okay hear me out.
It' a space game set in the future where you find alien fragments that once assembled lets you travel to the center of the universe and have the option of starting a NG+ run.
But wait there's more! Unlike Starfield and/or NMS my idea will actually work because when you start a NG+ run in the game your character will wake up in a horse drawn cart on their way to be executed for trying to cross the border to cyrodiil.
Horror game that uses eye tracking to keep scaring things right outside of your line of site. There's always something in your periphery, but you can never look at it directly.
Infinite inertia wall bouncing. So you only lose momentum when you fail to chain your wallrun/bounce, allowing you to pull off absolutely insane speed and distances if you just prepare your jumps correctly
a game that ACTUALLY documents numbers and mechanics properly in a sort of in-game wiki so you dont need to consult a fricking fan made website to find out what the fricking luck stat does
Amazing cultivation simulator does that...EXCEPT WHEN IT DOESN'T, why those fricking chinks didn't wrote a guide explaining how to expand your sect (the game main thing), is beyond me
There's a meter to track when ur character needs to take a shit and if you don't make it to a toilet before it depletes u shit urself and then u have to clean up otherwise the NPCs react realistically to ur situation
A modern stealth game in a style similar to early Splinter Cell, but with the caveat that the player character is not nearly hard enough to stomach the actions required of him. Killing guards results in extreme amounts of stress to the player character, causing him to become much less stealthy as his subtle footsteps becoming clumsy stumbling and ghostly apparitions of the people's you've killed stalk you.
Game uses a heartrate monitor and eye tracking and at the end of the game completion, doesn't provide you a time or % rating but instead rates how likely you are to be a homosexual.
A weird game mechanic I just thought of is a game that is tied to a blood charity (you can see where this is going) and h the e only way to heal your character is to having drained from you while playing so… Don’t bleed out!
A game where you solely fight with a large salmon that can be swung like a hammer or thrown like a boomerang with realistic physics and hitboxes, enemies are variety of penguins.
The game bases all of your stats on your real life psychological, physical, and financial status, and anything you lose in the game is repossessed by the government.
not totally original conceptually but let me explain
you know the basic gameplay loop of Amnesia the Bunker? You have a single object to refuel to keep the lights on and keep a monster at bay, and venture away from it to gather what you need? Have that basic structure transferred into an exploration setting, maybe a sidescroller in an abandoned mine. You have to push (not drive, your character has to physically push it and can walk away from it to explore) a small minecart along a track deeper and deeper, exploring various tunnels. It’s your only light source, maybe except a small torch that lasts seconds you can walk away from the minecart with, and using it expends limited fuel in the tank. Monsters stalk you, staying just out of range of the light, but creep closer as the meter drains and the light fades. That would be the vasix, but you can add to it.
You have action hero bullshit powers but the setting is completely mundane.
You have to keep your power level sufficiently concealed or else the glowies will notice and send people to dissect your ass so they steal your bullet time genes.
The experience you gain for beating enemies is adjusted depending on your stats when you do it, including gear worn.
Your base stats from levels can't be reduced, so you'll naturally earn less exp from the same enemies over time.
Taking off gear or wearing weaker pieces makes you level faster, while using all the best stuff possible stunts your growth.
The change is drastic enough that people wearing the best gear all game will eventually still find themselves being overpowered by enemies because they'll be so low level.
Intention is for the player to find a balance between running around naked and using the best stuff available to avoid giving up too much exp without making it so difficult it becomes a slog for you, while keeping the option of putting your broken shit on to bust through a wall at the cost of getting little to no exp for it.
Gear sets (and weapons) can be saved and swapped instantly in the middle of combat, but exp rewards are calculated by your stats at the moment damage was dealt so beating something to within an inch of its life with good gear and swapping out for the last 1% still rewards basically nothing.
literally vagrant story gear system
it goes even better than yours because some enemies will be weaker to some weapons so you are rewarded for switching weapons
FPS wherein your movement speed is the inverse of how much ammo you have remaining. Full ammo = can't move an inch, 1 bullet left = sprint up the side of a building.
That actually sounds interesting. You war, but have to do it (sort of) quietly. I guess one issue that'd have to be figured out is, if someone's on the back foot, there'd have to be a way to stop them from just triggering the apocalypse to get a draw rather than a loss.
>RTS based in the Crossed universe between two rival human nations >depending on how vicious the war gets you start drawing in more dangerous elements eventually culminating into a three sided conflict >given the extremely infectious nature of the pathogen that the Crossed carry many of your human units will be forcibly converted when they make close contact with them >further escalating the conflict they will start making extensive use of biological warfare like throwing blood and piss bombs into clustered battalions, lacing important areas with infected DNA or tormenting captured units to wreck havoc on your morale
Cum meter >builds uo the longer you hold on >wizard points based on held points >but as a hidden mechanic Corruption and Female attacks have a higher chance to proc effects
I've had that idea as well but I don't think any porn game would implement it because it discourages engaging with the porn even more than game over rape which people already whine about.
Character has a severe case of beer shits after getting intoxicated and you have to decide to rush towards the nearest public toilet or hold it in until you get home. If you get hit or startled the chance of shitting yourself increases.
FPS with a hidden "stress/adrenaline" statistic. The more perilous the firefight(receiving fire, ally deaths, enemy deaths, explosions, etc) your accuracy will take a hit when firing full auto, gun will sway unsteadily when trying to take more accurate shots, reloading will be more cumbersome(not as fluid, more hurried, fumbles depending on situation), maybe screen takes on a slight fisheye lens effect.
Intravenous supposedly has something like this for enemies, they become less accurate the more scared enemies are (seeing their dead allies, exchanging shots with you, etc). Unless the dev removed it or something
Its basically impossible to notice though : the early game poor and unskilled enemies are already bad and very inconsistent at accuracy, and the lategame elite enemies are very accurate regardless, so its hard to ever really notice it. even moreso as its a game where youre typically not making enemies able to shoot you
>BF1 if they turned up the suppression mechanic and made use of a shell shock meter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfwZOkxrCak&list=PL7Ji4hL_kMGEf0OdyX2ppexIHf7Ht0Mmh&index=5
> join army irl > can't just drop magazines on ground, have to put them back in pouches > lose track of which ones are full and which are like 50% or lower because I've been awake for 4 straight days >buddy loses one in the brush >command makes us get in an extended line and look for it for 2 hours
This isn't like my video games...
Your gun will reload as you empty your bladder, and the more your bladder is filled up, the more bullets your gun will have, but it will discharge the pee, so you need to be careful not to slip on it
A card game where the idea is that, instead of building your collection, you destroy it over time. Sort of a twist on sealed.
Idea is that you are given a garbage collection, then your idea is to wittle it down until you are left with nothing. Each game you use effects with dice and such that permanently erase the cards from your collection.
When your deck is depleted, you are given a new deck that's more difficult to destroy, and the tools you have to destroy it improve.
Its like a bayou monster hunting CCG.
penis combat. you attack enemies with your penis, get more erect as you deal more damage, lose erection as you take damage. cum blast for super move, piss as an ranged attack.
Rpgmaker horror game with some combat elements but focus on puzzles where in You frick up a puzzle, you lose finger as a punishment and proceed on which in turn effects your combat capabilities. Lose too many you cant fight and puzzles will be harder to solve thanks to missing fingers. Lose all or lets say 8 and thats it, you are fricked
Sounds great but why RPGmaker? wouldn't first person be more impactful since you can see your hands get progressively more fricked up and struggle more to do tasks?
Any real life allergies you have, are perma-applied to your character, no matter how many times you restart. Only way to do first registration is through submitting your DNA to the company.
Game involves being subjected to random tests, the further you go, the more money you earn in real life.
Any reactions that your game character have, are given to you in real life.
Your soul can briefly leave its mortal coil to possess another enemy to either attack the others or commit suicide, but your body is vulnerable in the meantime so you gotta keep tabs on it.
A shooter but evertime you shoot at some NPC (and he will die - no dodging) you become that NPC leaving you to shoot at the next guy.
So you have to plan an escape kill before shooting.
You end this chain of killing by touching a person. This also transfers you but does not kill the target.
Here's one for you for free, Mr company. >Memory system >Things you learn will remain in your "memory" >But as time passes, the memory fades, and the text in memory is showing incorrect numbers/texts >Eventually, the texts get wiped and you forgot about it until you relearn the memory >If you use that knowledge often enough, it becomes a "muscle memory" and the text won't disappear anymore.
already a thing, don't remember the game but I do remember "pause" was just agressively slow bullet time and the npc can still attack you and shit
Good game, I was pissed when I got back from an errand and was dead and found this out
Online battle royale qwop-like game where you use wasd to write cursive handwritten sentences.
everyone has collective ink-pool that drains when someone writes
online leaderboards and speedruns for replayability
I'll take this semi-seriously.
A.I. chat bots for diplomacy events in Civ games.
You have to convince an A.I. playing the role of a rival faction's ruler, if you want trade deals and alliances.
yeah so basically you use an included peripheral that is shaped like a phallus and what you do is, when you shove it up your ass it vibrates because it can detect the specific conditions inside an butthole with sophisticated sensors that can also detect false positives so lmao good luck trying to fool it. and yeah so what you do is, you let it vibrate in your butthole, and when you're about to come it stops and asks you for 25 dollars to continue.
oh and in the game you have to sit on carrot men to destroy them, cause you're a giant anime girl in a city of carrot men, and you're trying to rampage and destroy their city, and you do it exclusively with your butthole.
Euphoria can be achieved in many better ways. Opiates and ecstacy are very effective. You can also pay a woman to poo on your wiener, I like to do this with old Chinese women in hell.
2D game
You swap between interacting realistically with your "layer" of the world and interacting with the whole thing, background objects counting as things you can interact with
So like for example if the enemy goes far into the background, you could toggle it and stomp it like an ant because it becomes that small in your perspective
I've got a couple of shitty ones: selecting anything easier than 'normal' difficulty pops up a confirmation box asking "are you really sure?", which if confirmed goes through, so when you start a new game it simply hangs on the loading screen and eventually crashes, having uninstalled itself in the background.
A game where your game is more like several different games in one, where your graphics and audio settings basically determine what game you're playing, with graphics determining type, and audio determining difficulty. graphics low? a simple 2d game. graphics med? a more complicated 2d game. high? a fully 3d game. audio low? something like chiptunes from a nes with not a lot of difficulty, while high would be like an orchestrated soundtrack and as hard as frick. Graphics settings are locked with audio settings until you've beaten the game, so you can't go higher with one than the other, at which point everything becomes much more customisable as far as combinations and other hidden settings.
I remember there was some 3D puzzle game where you "pull" things up into the 4th dimension
I don't think it did well because that shit is un-understandable
I think I remember that one as well, there's also an either newer or still underway minigolf game that does a similar thing.
But I also thought the mario paper series at some point did a similar thing with the 2nd and 3rd dimensions, but maybe I was wrong about that (never played any of them)
Rhythm-based turn-based RPG (4 homies in a row variety). The basic gist is to game-ify feeling of, do you know the good feeling when a certain part of the song starts and you just feel like you are gonna get a crit for no reason at all, and then you actually do, sort of that, but the point is to intentionally recreate it based on knowledge of the song playing in the battle. And major game mechanic component would be to change the rhythm of the battle song to buff yourself or debuff the enemy (like for example you are fighting enemy who vibe to rapping and you would throw them off their rhythm if you cast classical music rhythm, which in turn buffs your magic, it buffs their magic too, but since they are rappers the magic stat isn't as important to them as agility which rapping style buffs).
I know Keylocker exists, but if you compare it to my idea you'll know they are nothing alike.
It wan an idea from a 2007 forum on Splinter Cell about AI. Adding a new mechanic for enemies to be able to recognize Sam if he casted a shadow that had different equipment on than the enemies.
Overall, you're just a moron.
a 2D platformer with levels the procedurally generate right in front of you as you are moving so that if you jump you don't know if there's going to be ground or a bottomless pit when you land
Punching a hard surface or blocking a melee weapon with your bare hands breaks a hand and disables it for the rest of the game.
If you lose function of both hands you have to start using your anus to fight.
Streaming the game code OVER the gui with thicker and thicker opacity as you take damage. When you die it just becomes a CMD with basic ascii art that says gave over or some shit and you have to exit the program.
Parrying an enemy's attack refills your dodge meter
When your dodge meter is full you can dodge one time
If you dodge you instantly die
Hardest game ever for a soulsgay
Bread making but as weaponry.
You're fighting the Demon Lord Gakrhular'ton the Devourer and he plans to destroy reality itself... however, he's viciously allergic to gluten and worst of all both him and his minions are diabetic, needing to devour living beings to steal their insulin.
So you're a baker and you get swarmed first thing in the morning as you were about to throw away yesterday's bread that went moldy, when a demon attacks you: you defeat him using said bread as you notice during the fight that these walking mouths filled with teeth and spikes are actively harmed by your bakery prowless.
From then on you have to mix and match ingredients such as rice or white flour, sugar, salt, honey or even nuts (depending on demon allergies) to make different type of breads to kill the demons.
Obviously your weaponry has durability and a time limit, eventually growing moldy.
Form-changing combat
For example if you parry while jumping, your character turns into a werewolf
In werewolf form you get different attacks and defences that might be better for this enemy
But the enemy can also form change in combat and maybe changes into a vampire
In werewolf form you can maybe transform into mummy form by doing some other action
You can get form-locked by the enemy too and get stuck in a disadvantageous form for some time
I haven't worked it all out but it's the best mechanic nobody tjought of yet
>Form-changing combat >nobody tjought of yet
Except mortal kombat 30 years ago and again with every iteration of the game ever since with Shang Tsung innit but ok
literally Red Alert 3
Both in the plot (Tim Curry going back in time and stopping Einstein from going back in time to Kill hitler) and in the gameplay (Tanya's time belt)
put tanya back in time 10 seconds before you activated it
so if you committed her to an unwinnable situation you could hit it and back her out, or send her on a suicide run to C4 and building and zip her back out after
It was her secondary ability, it was pretty useless tbh ne
So there's this oddball quantum theory called the time slice, essentially time doesn't actually exist and all moments in time are an individual slice of space and since you move through space you simulate this illusion called time. In regular physics space and time are the same thing, space is time and time is space that's why it's called spacetime. Anywho onto the game mechanic.
>every room in the game is a time slice >player character can collapse all time slices into the same room >the game never forgets the position of your attack actions >when you activate the time slice every action you ever performed ever in the game happens in the same space in the current room player character is occupying
>DayZ clone >die ingame and your copy is revoked >persistent characters and inventories means that you need to take the proper precautions so you can't combat log if shit hits the fan
Every time you take a shit you have to tell the game and it gives you a shit bullet in the game - also, you have to send proof of your shit to the devs so you don't just get infinite shit bullets/
A system for creating characters like Miis or Avatars, but it only stores the info about you. You make yourself in a character creator like a Bethesda game, as detailed as you want, and other games can pull the data to popular your character in their style.
Something like a Tormat for Avatar/Character Sharing - TACS. (Open to better names.)
But the interesting part is you can create other characters, or your friends, and you encourage gamedevs to allow you to cast the characters in your game.
You play a man trying to save his family? Try to save your real family by whoever your pick as your villain. Playing Hitman? Agent 47 is you (or whatever your avatar is.)
That's why you give access to the data, not create a model for use. Let them recreate the characters in their own game's style, using what they want from the data. It's not required at all, nor is any particular part of it required. Maybe just hair color, eyes, and height/weight.
an rpg that comes with a scale and a handheld scanner to record both weight and body type. Your ingame character will be a reflection of the recorded data but customizable otherwise. npc's will make remarks about your weight if you're a lard ass or compliment you on your physique if you're natty. You can rescan/weigh yourself at any time and your character will be updated. Losing weight or gaining muscle will give you added perks. Inversely, gaining weight and losing muscle will grant debuffs.
wiener and Ball Torture Porn next level The Game? Lmao, fun shit, make it about bullying adult women who decide to target an office worker who gets stepped on and humiliated a lot before getting to smash any of the women's pussies with accurate fleshlight vibrations for actions that happen in game (rumble for your wiener), also variety of death scenes that mock the player for being a pathetic piece of shit for cumming and not lasting long enough, someone could milk that idea for big money.
>Do Zoomers have genuine emotions?
They learn all these behaviors from online youtube videos, tik tok shorts or streamers.
We are now living in a world where zoomers try to belittle each others and shit on each others thinking that's the normal behavior and it's "funny".
Humanity is dying.
If you have a school setting actually have TES style lore dumps in books and tests regarding said lore dumps in books.
If your gonna do a school setting actually do it right you lazy fricking homosexuals.
An RPG that collects your play data, e.g. skills used, time taken to beat an enemy, etc. the usual metrics that devs collect for balance and shit. Only this collected data is made public to all players. Any time you begin a mission, it will say "X% of players used Y skill in this mission, players were on average level Z in this mission, average completion time is mm:ss" or whatever. The level of reward you get scales based on how different your data is from the average player. So if you take much longer or much less time than average completion time, you get better rewards, or if you do far more or far less damage than the typical player, etc. If you use the same build as everybody else, you get minimal rewards. Since the player has access to this data, you are expected to play around knowledge of it.
>is explicitly opt in due to selective data harvesting >not opting in puts all your rewards at the minimum level regardless of how you played, even though you can see the data others used.
an example would be bravely default 2 to some degree, which has seemingly internet connected quest stuff that gives better rewards or such that you dont have to opt in to, but at the end of the game you're treated to a bunch of 'john doe came to your aid' sorts of thing.
Exploring open worlds aimlessly can be a real chore, so what if there was a landmark that could be used as a point of reference... but in reverse? Hear me out, seeing a tower in a distance might help you get an idea of where you are, but being ON TOP of that tower and looking around gives you a view of the entire landscape. Place some of these towers throughout the game world's landscape, have players climb up them - this will be a fun challenge in its own right - and their reward when they reach the top? The local region is uncovered on their map, items of note, the region layout, sidequests, all marked. This way we can maintain the sense of a mysterious world waiting to be uncovered when players enter a new area while also giving a fun, reliable, convenient way to actually uncover that area.
This sounds like a really unique and soulful mechanic. I wish modern AAA game devs weren't all a bunch of lifeless ghouls sucking at the Jesuit teat. Imagine a game with this kind of heart, but also a budget with ten digits? It would be the best game ever made.
You have to eat and take shits and after you take a dump you can take a look at it.
You can assess your turds by the Bristol Stool Chart.
You want to keep a nice consistency of poo going because your character's gastrointestinal health impacts stats like your health, resistance to poisons, ability to drink a lot of buff potions etc.
Potions and things can bind you up or act as laxatives.
So, you could be hanging out with another player or fighting them or whatever, and you see they just shit their pants like you are in a Walmart, or something.
detective vs criminal pvp >game starts with criminal alraedy committing murder/rape >every day/turn the criminal remembers something they need to hide/stash/eliminate >if they don't do well or are caught they need to kill witnesses or risk getting caught >detective gets a new lead every day >if one does better it makes the game harder on the other >chance of random events throwing off the dynamic in favor of one over the other to make things more interesting >game also has a irl cum meter for no other reason than to add the never seen before mechanic
there's your 10 second game idea b***h
actually to add on this dumb idea I can add different difficulties depending on the age you choose >medieval times >only leads are witnesses but most are superstitious or moronic >old timey victorian era or the old west >same deal but people can describe witnesses better and can read wanted posters >70s/80s >no DNA evidence >modern day >DNA and camera footage
If you're gonna make your own game, sure. but if you can't, what's even the alternative of, israelite steals your idea and realizes your dream game or; your dream game never gets realized?
Here’s an idea.
It’s a singleplayer MMORPG where you’re already the strongest player. Then a group of new ”players” join and you have to help them by running instances and showing what quests to take. Problem is, they’re really stupid players and the game is permadeath. Take your eyes off them for a second and they might be dead.
That player you’ve poured tens of hours on? Dead.
I’ve always wanted to play a game like that, I liked boosting newbies in early days of WoW, helping with quests and money.
people get paid millions of dollars and are given years and years for this task, yet they still fail somehow, and you ask me to do this in 10 seconds, for free?
Ok hear me out. Dark Souls but in reverse. You get to control the traps, enemies and enemy placement and you have to stop the one hero that always comes back
Gameplay mostly consists of traversing a series of platforms without falling, often with other hazards to make traversal more challenging. I call the genre 'traversaller'.
Would be really cool if you could also invent something that lets you see the player character's actions as you're playing, instead of having to imagine everything.
A game with one of 2 endings chosen randomly at a point unknown to the player. There's a third true ending only unlocked by opening the game files and changing a single line of code.
MMO simply too big for a single player to see even 10% of it in 5 years of playing. Full of pivotal quests, loot, etc that can unlock entirely new ways to play.
Like you’re a veteran going around with a sword and shield and one day you see some homie casting magic he unlocked as part of a quest chain. Maybe he shares it and a bunch of people become mages, maybe nobody else finds it for years.
Rhythm porn game, if you fail to stay in sync you blow your load early. Score decently you get a 45 second cutscene. Score perfectly you get the full minute scene.
What are you a gay? You get an electrode plug up your ass, if you frick up 3 times in a row your prostate gets fried. Turning the game off won't prevent this.
fighting game eyegouging in a throw tech, a super fast QTE hyper complex, performs an eyegouge is counterable to even out but otherwise puts you in a neutral with plus frames.
The counter just breaks to a standard neutral. Person closer to the corner doesnt move. Other one moves back to what is considered best position for them plus X pixles depending on matchup. If performed in corner might requre defender to be pushed back for balance. Some eye gouges might cause damage, some just might be toe stomps with no damage.
completely changes the rock, paper, scissors to a new level. Took me 40 seconds.
Listen I got this really great idea. You control a band of soldiers/mercaneries/gangsters and whenever the enemy tries to shoot you, you take a turn....and Shoot them back! Amazing isn't it?? I don't know what to call it though....
Simulation game where you simulate posting on an anonymous Belgian language anime e-zine. you gotta get the high score to win but the mechanics are hidden because you can't get points from posting
that Drawn Together show but it's centered around video game character rip offs instead of cartoon character rip offs. you live in a world inhabited by vidya shit and pick a character ala Live a Live. each character is in a different genre with a different art style (an FPS, a platformer, an RPG, etc.)
each character is connected to another character in a way through their story. once you play through the last character the vidya rip off characters team up to defeat the big bad which is a multi billon dollar company trying to burn the video game industry to ashes
Fart pressure loop, you need to build up your fart power by consuming spicy beans enemies and use it to power your attacks and movement, the more you have in the bank the stronger everything is but you lose more of it when doing things
The goal is to have enough of it left at end of the stage to clear out the shit in your intestines
4D smell-o-vision. A number appears on the screen and you take out the relevant scratch card and smell what the MC is smelling. Would be great as a stealth mechanic. You could use it in every kind of game, from bakery heists to zombie apocalypse games.
An RPG system that deals with what your player character actually thinks about most of the time, e.g. where you assign % towards concepts to think about. This would especially lend itself well to an organic magic learning system. Can go into more detail if anyone cares.
Additions from Legend of Dragoon except the each attack's timing has a slight, random variance and an additional, slight variance based on how close the previous inputs were to perfect
Your emotional state is directly linked to gameplay mechanics. Basically the game uses biofeedback to monitor your heart rate, brainwaves, sweat gland activity, sphincter tightness, eye tracking, etc. If you become stressed or upset or scared, the game becomes more challenging. Fewer resources spawn, harder obstacles, more aggressive enemies, the works.
Also, the main character's emotions are adapted to match yours. So if you think an NPC is cute, your character will have a flirty tone when talking to them, but if you hate an NPC you will have a much harder time even faking politeness even when it's 100% necessary to the goal (like if you need something from this NPC). Other non-critical NPCs will be divided into enemies and allies depending on your emotional response to their friends and family members in the game.
Deck builder metroidvania
The knight witch
>yet another "innovative" game that shoehorns deck building
Why are you people so obsessed with deck building games? I swear, I've seen so many games with great ideas and artstyles be nothing but a front for a deck building game. I've even saw people comment on game trailers their disappointment when a game looked great conceptually, only to be ruined when the card shit started to show up.
I think it's the same people that are obssessed rouge-likes. Some morons mistake rolling RNG dice for fun-variety.
The only deck building game I saw that was truly kino was a cyberpunk pvp hacking game back on cellphones like over 20yr ago. You made an attack deck and a defense deck out of scripts/viruses/firewalls etc and had to hack other players, which earned you new software.
Deck builder inside a rogue lite inside a metrovania inside a crafting survival game inside another deck builder

Turn Based Brazilean Role-Playing Game

you die in the game your cat dies in real life
what the frick
i only had 10 seconds
>he used all nine lives
you didnt beat the game.
>anon dies in super mario 64 during a sleepover at his friend's house
Very sensitive smell that impacts your character's actions.
You kidnap people and use them as platforms on your journey. The more people you grab, the longer a platform you can make.
I've played this, I forget what it's called but it's a mix between a puzzle game and reading simulator. To get some optional collectibles you need to collect more enemies on your way to a point since you can't backtrack
Quantum impregnation
12 minutes
You can't heal, taking damage causes you to move faster, and if you take too much instead of dying you'll just be moving so fast the game will crash.
actually pretty interesting
good job anon
This sounds like a Morrowind glitch that has yet to be discovered.
Good idea but
>Play this game
>Deliberately take damage from the 1st enemy you find in game
>Become turbo fast
>Enemy attack animations are too slow to get you
>Speedrun the whole thing
>Credits roll
>but
This sounds like that's just how you play the game.
>game gets a speedrun category where you have to crash it as soon as possible

Okay hear me out.
It' a space game set in the future where you find alien fragments that once assembled lets you travel to the center of the universe and have the option of starting a NG+ run.
But wait there's more! Unlike Starfield and/or NMS my idea will actually work because when you start a NG+ run in the game your character will wake up in a horse drawn cart on their way to be executed for trying to cross the border to cyrodiil.

Jackie Chan
not totally original conceptually but let me explain
you know the basic gameplay loop of Amnesia the Bunker?
>That would be the vasix

An MMO with a hired team of DMs that run everything happening in the world.
That would be so fricking nice. I loved NWN RP servers for that.
I wonder if you're the same anon that made a thread like that before
Nope, just wanted it ever since playing on a persistent world server in NWN. It's the only real way I can see to save the MMO genre.
You have action hero bullshit powers but the setting is completely mundane.
You have to keep your power level sufficiently concealed or else the glowies will notice and send people to dissect your ass so they steal your bullet time genes.
Wouldn't it just turn into a normal action game if the glowies came after you?
Gear sets (and weapons) can be saved and swapped instantly in the middle of combat, but exp rewards are calculated by your stats at the moment damage was dealt so beating something to within an inch of its life with good gear and swapping out for the last 1% still rewards basically nothing.
>find good gear
>never want to equip it

"Camera"
RTS with a rage meter, you fight too much and a third party comes in and wipes both sides
That actually sounds interesting. You war, but have to do it (sort of) quietly. I guess one issue that'd have to be figured out is, if someone's on the back foot, there'd have to be a way to stop them from just triggering the apocalypse to get a draw rather than a loss.
maybe making drastically much more "noise" than your enemy means only you get wiped
So then each side has incentive suppress their own noise and to generate noise attributed to their enemy.
Sounds like playing a neutral party during the Cold War.
>RTS based in the Crossed universe between two rival human nations
>depending on how vicious the war gets you start drawing in more dangerous elements eventually culminating into a three sided conflict
>given the extremely infectious nature of the pathogen that the Crossed carry many of your human units will be forcibly converted when they make close contact with them
>further escalating the conflict they will start making extensive use of biological warfare like throwing blood and piss bombs into clustered battalions, lacing important areas with infected DNA or tormenting captured units to wreck havoc on your morale
Very simple, punish a regular loss less than an "apocalypse" loss
To get the idea across
If you lose then -1 for you, +1 for enemy
If you cause apocalypse then -2 for both
(Maybe -2 for noisiest and -1 for quietest)
>interesting idea
>immediately start exclusively talking about pvp shit and rankings

FPS with a hidden "stress/adrenaline" statistic. The more perilous the firefight(receiving fire, ally deaths, enemy deaths, explosions, etc) your accuracy will take a hit when firing full auto, gun will sway unsteadily when trying to take more accurate shots, reloading will be more cumbersome(not as fluid, more hurried, fumbles depending on situation), maybe screen takes on a slight fisheye lens effect.
Isn't that basically just suppression from battlefield 3?
Intravenous supposedly has something like this for enemies, they become less accurate the more scared enemies are (seeing their dead allies, exchanging shots with you, etc). Unless the dev removed it or something
Its basically impossible to notice though : the early game poor and unskilled enemies are already bad and very inconsistent at accuracy, and the lategame elite enemies are very accurate regardless, so its hard to ever really notice it. even moreso as its a game where youre typically not making enemies able to shoot you

yeah so basically you use an included peripheral that is shaped like a phallus and what you do is, when you shove it up your ass it vibrates because it can detect the specific conditions inside an butthole with sophisticated sensors that can also detect false positives so lmao good luck trying to fool it. and yeah so what you do is, you let it vibrate in your butthole, and when you're about to come it stops and asks you for 25 dollars to continue.
oh and in the game you have to sit on carrot men to destroy them, cause you're a giant anime girl in a city of carrot men, and you're trying to rampage and destroy their city, and you do it exclusively with your butthole.

Something kind of similar done in chronos twin.
So Fez, but less locked down?

Man, I wish I bought flour.
You can get form-locked by the enemy too and get stuck in a disadvantageous form for some time

put tanya back in time 10 seconds before you activated it
so if you committed her to an unwinnable situation you could hit it and back her out, or send her on a suicide run to C4 and building and zip her back out after
It was her secondary ability, it was pretty useless tbh ne
Yeah I doubt it ever made sense to micro her that much unless you had infiltration missions like in the earlier games where you only control her
Shitposting
It doesn't have to be a good mechanic right?
So there's this oddball quantum theory called the time slice, essentially time doesn't actually exist and all moments in time are an individual slice of space and since you move through space you simulate this illusion called time. In regular physics space and time are the same thing, space is time and time is space that's why it's called spacetime. Anywho onto the game mechanic.
>every room in the game is a time slice
>player character can collapse all time slices into the same room
>the game never forgets the position of your attack actions
>when you activate the time slice every action you ever performed ever in the game happens in the same space in the current room player character is occupying
hope that made sense

Survival game where you actually need to pee and take a shit.
pc/console shuts off if you die
If you die in the game you die in real life.
Game hooks up to your wiener and is like a fleshlight but if you cum you die.
good idea
wiener and Ball Torture Porn next level The Game? Lmao, fun shit, make it about bullying adult women who decide to target an office worker who gets stepped on and humiliated a lot before getting to smash any of the women's pussies with accurate fleshlight vibrations for actions that happen in game (rumble for your wiener), also variety of death scenes that mock the player for being a pathetic piece of shit for cumming and not lasting long enough, someone could milk that idea for big money.
i meant die irl btw
SAO: CBT Edition.
I'd settle for SAO:SAO edition, a coop MMO where the pvp is hard and a server can fail to win.
rpg where you start at level 99 and you level down from battles and get progressively weaker.
That's not an RPG, anon. It's a character action game.
Why are you guys so obsessed with cumming, shitting and pissing? Has all the sincerity died in Ganker? Do Zoomers have genuine emotions?
>Do Zoomers have genuine emotions?
They learn all these behaviors from online youtube videos, tik tok shorts or streamers.
We are now living in a world where zoomers try to belittle each others and shit on each others thinking that's the normal behavior and it's "funny".
Humanity is dying.
>YOUTHS!
What are you going to do about it? Cry, piss your pants? Maybe shit and cum?
A 3D fighting game where you create the animation of the character, and then you use that as an attack and try to beat the enemy.
Toribash
Oh cool, didn't know such game exists.
Isn’t that just toribash?
Since the player has access to this data, you are expected to play around knowledge of it.
>is explicitly opt in due to selective data harvesting
>not opting in puts all your rewards at the minimum level regardless of how you played, even though you can see the data others used.
You opt in by installing the game, just like any other online video game.
an example would be bravely default 2 to some degree, which has seemingly internet connected quest stuff that gives better rewards or such that you dont have to opt in to, but at the end of the game you're treated to a bunch of 'john doe came to your aid' sorts of thing.
Physics based nose scraping to access your upgrade currency
VR-MMO-RPG You can trade the in game currency for IRL money

It would be the best game ever made.
assassin's creed?
Never heard of it.
A GAME WITH PISSFARTFRICK MECHANICS LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL
Dynamic armour crafting where placement of place of plates and choice of material effects how it responds to impacts.
Katamari Damacy Battle Royale.
Oh Oh OH! And you can send pictures of your real shit and send them to the devs!!!!!
>you can send pictures of your real shit and send them to the devs
That's already true for every game, and for life in general
Potions and things can bind you up or act as laxatives.
So, you could be hanging out with another player or fighting them or whatever, and you see they just shit their pants like you are in a Walmart, or something.
detective vs criminal pvp
>game starts with criminal alraedy committing murder/rape
>every day/turn the criminal remembers something they need to hide/stash/eliminate
>if they don't do well or are caught they need to kill witnesses or risk getting caught
>detective gets a new lead every day
>if one does better it makes the game harder on the other
>chance of random events throwing off the dynamic in favor of one over the other to make things more interesting
>game also has a irl cum meter for no other reason than to add the never seen before mechanic
there's your 10 second game idea b***h
Can you take dumpies at the crime scenes is the real question
sure wynaut
cum, piss, shit all over the crime scene for insta lose unless the detective throws
actually to add on this dumb idea I can add different difficulties depending on the age you choose
>medieval times
>only leads are witnesses but most are superstitious or moronic
>old timey victorian era or the old west
>same deal but people can describe witnesses better and can read wanted posters
>70s/80s
>no DNA evidence
>modern day
>DNA and camera footage
>do my job for me goyim!
israel is not a real country btw
If you're gonna make your own game, sure. but if you can't, what's even the alternative of, israelite steals your idea and realizes your dream game or; your dream game never gets realized?
>but if you can't, what's even the *worse alternative between,
> tried it, didn't work
Real-time deck builder
I remember Broteam played a racing game once where poker hands keep popping up in the middle of the screen as you race
Asuka in GG Strive is that.
>Pick between burst and warning burst
great gameplay
a competitive fps game that doesn't have cheaters and you can say homosexual in without getting permabanned
u press "a" buton & ur charcter jumps up into the air!!
a vr game where you are a remote drone pilot and you have to chase and catch people who are running away
Shooting game where shots to the chest are fatal/one hit kills
doesn't this fit a lot of sidescrollers like Metal Slug
I'm not telling you! (I will put it in my own game, hehehehe)
a game where you prevent cavities so that all of the dentists have no more business
sounds like you'd be playing the role of a dentist, then
Here’s an idea.
Dead.
I’ve always wanted to play a game like that, I liked boosting newbies in early days of WoW, helping with quests and money.
>singleplayer mmorpg
so every modern mmo?
You type letters then place them with mouse to create platforms
They vanish after a few seconds
people get paid millions of dollars and are given years and years for this task, yet they still fail somehow, and you ask me to do this in 10 seconds, for free?
Ok hear me out. Dark Souls but in reverse. You get to control the traps, enemies and enemy placement and you have to stop the one hero that always comes back
action RPG which takes place entirely underwater and has good 3D movement
You can change between various gameplay genres on the fly, majorly changing how you interact with the level, objects or enemies.
Gameplay mostly consists of traversing a series of platforms without falling, often with other hazards to make traversal more challenging. I call the genre 'traversaller'.
Would be really cool if you could also invent something that lets you see the player character's actions as you're playing, instead of having to imagine everything.
The gameplay loop is that you have to eat froot loops to progress. Different milk gives Different bonuses.
A game with one of 2 endings chosen randomly at a point unknown to the player. There's a third true ending only unlocked by opening the game files and changing a single line of code.
You need orange juice. You must stop and chug orange juice every once in a while or you will debuff/die.
cindys (ff15) hotter younger sister
Betty's (FF7R) hotter, younger sister.
Raping horseshoe crabs to create black holes
You play as a blind swordsman who has daredevil esque vision, 1st person mode, you use some manner of motion control to block blades, arrows, ect.
Ok but what about a game where you are trying to seduce the e-girl fastfood worker but she is trying really hard to do her job
Maybe he shares it and a bunch of people become mages, maybe nobody else finds it for years.
stealth sports game
The Game
gun breeding to make new guns with their parents traits
if this already exists please @ me
I think Barkley 2 was supposed to have something like that but the game itself died in development.
was about to say that
uhhh, eating yoyos gives you power?
wait, shit, kirby did that already.
if you die in the game I go to your house and rape you
Rhythm porn game, if you fail to stay in sync you blow your load early. Score decently you get a 45 second cutscene. Score perfectly you get the full minute scene.
Can you hook it up to your ball cage?
What are you a gay? You get an electrode plug up your ass, if you frick up 3 times in a row your prostate gets fried. Turning the game off won't prevent this.
Jumping on an enemy's head in order to defeat them.
real-time menstrual cycle
Already a feature in every MMO guild
fighting game eyegouging in a throw tech, a super fast QTE hyper complex, performs an eyegouge is counterable to even out but otherwise puts you in a neutral with plus frames.
How about Polite Group Battle Simulation?
Rollercoaster Tycoon that has a minimum height of 6' to purchase
Penile lockpicking minigames
Noise gauge where if you make a noise in real life it alerts a monster in a horror game
1 death = 10 squat penalty and you can't continue until they've been done full ROM in proper form
Gameplay set in Microsoft Paint.
