the multiplayer aspect seems like it is going to be a barebones afterthought so there is not much incentive for me to spend 60$ on two gba games I still have and played 20 years ago.

Adance Wars fans are very hyped for this. The art companies are minor in the face of ADAVNCE WARS IS BACK, discounting 4chins of course.
Problem being that Adance Wars fans are a pretty small demographic.
Going back to advance wars I can't believe how fricking sovl it is. I really like the blend of tactics and strategy here. A shame the series is pretty much dead since reboot camp is guaranteed to fail at this point.
I was skeptical but I’ve seen some of the additions they’re making to the Mega Man Battle Network collection so I’m excited to see what they do with the series. I just hope the animations have been tightened up.
