They just did a remaster of Cross (that included Radical Dreamers) not too long ago. Cross doesn't need a remake or anything. It's not a very good game. That shit has to leave, because it's garbage. They've also "remastered" Chrono Trigger, and while the additional content did not frick it up, the additional content was also not very good and does not inspire confidence in any additional things they might do to it in the future.

Yes, but not a new Chrono game. Chrono Trigger was amazing. Chrono Cross was decent overall, but the 2nd half of the game is terrible even if you remove its comparison to Chrono Trigger. I think they should just start making new, lower budget games. Back in the day Squaresoft and Enix were competing companies. Enix made generally more experimental titles, but they were some of my favorite, and outside of Chrono Trigger, I think I preferred Enix over Squaresoft. They're kinda doing that now with stuff like DioField, but I think they should just keep doing that. Become a kind of mid-core developer of more experimental titles. That's how we got Chrono Trigger in the first place.

Although I have to admit I have not been able to get even an A for the last 2 piano songs you get on hard mode but thank good they are not needed for the trophy because they are hard as shit. Probably never gonna get an A let alone a star on them. But I do wish the game had like an extra Hard mode after beating it on hard mode. They should do like Dark Souls that every time you beat the game the enemies have more life and hit harder. Because the combat is so fun and there are so many builds. I keep switching things around every time. Sometimes focusing on 1 element and making it as powerful as possible with Focus materia or focusing on physical or non-elemental magic or buffing and debuffing, ATB speed or synergy that hits like a nuclear bomb, or inverting MP and HP to spam the frick out of limit breaks instead, etc. You can get pretty creative with the builds in this game. It's so good bros. I want to keep talking about FF7 all the time so much I even started posting again on Gamefaqs of all places and after so many years.

I would have preferred some turn based, but I like the action combat too. For me it's the moronic story changes that turned me off.
The character interactions are great and would have added enough new things to keep it fresh without butt fricking the original story to death.

All I want to say is Rebirth is so fricking good. I've already beaten it like 4 times in a row. Nothing but FF7 is what I have been playing since it came out. Already got every materia, every piece of equipment, all abilities, all cards, all summons, levels maxed out, the rewards from every mini-game in every difficulty, all VR and coliseum fights and the platinum trophy and you know what I'm doing right now? Playing the goddamn game again. You Black folk are missing out and I'm loving all the seethe. Sony always wins baybee!!
Although I have to admit I have not been able to get even an A for the last 2 piano songs you get on hard mode but thank good they are not needed for the trophy because they are hard as shit. Probably never gonna get an A let alone a star on them. But I do wish the game had like an extra Hard mode after beating it on hard mode. They should do like Dark Souls that every time you beat the game the enemies have more life and hit harder. Because the combat is so fun and there are so many builds. I keep switching things around every time. Sometimes focusing on 1 element and making it as powerful as possible with Focus materia or focusing on physical or non-elemental magic or buffing and debuffing, ATB speed or synergy that hits like a nuclear bomb, or inverting MP and HP to spam the frick out of limit breaks instead, etc. You can get pretty creative with the builds in this game. It's so good bros. I want to keep talking about FF7 all the time so much I even started posting again on Gamefaqs of all places and after so many years.
