You can play Xbone games offline, you can't play Steam games offline without activating them at least once every 30 days if I recall. Recently Halo Infinite came incomplete on a disc which led to a huge controversy because the game isn't going to be playable offline in case Microsoft's services go down.

Of course a Series X doesn't beat a beastly PC but honestly the Series X has had almost zero hassle, the menu has been buttery smooth without issues, I love the way it incorporates spotify, Gamepass has let me beat a ton of games I wouldn't otherwise
And I get to play fricking Halo trilogy, Gears trilogy, and Ninja Gaiden Black in 4k 60fps which as a 27 year old has been the fricking best. Gears 2 in 60fps 4k alone looks fricking amazing and honestly shits on a lot of new games graphically sometimes.

Not really, it's missing a lot of titles and many of them are missing resolution/framerate boosts. It's far better than PS5 in this regard though.
