The official translation isn't out yet and most of the fan translations are kinda shitty.

Eh, the official translation flows better but is way too loose for me and omits nuances. If I ever reread it, I'll go the whole way with the scanlation.

I do and I do check the original versions from time to time when I suspect something's amiss. I just can't do it fluently enough to read the whole thing casually without looking shit up all the time. (and yes I do realize how that sounds in the context of the previous sentence)

                >(and yes I do realize how that sounds in the context of the previous sentence)

No, that makes perfect sense. I can speak and read French "fluently", but it takes me at least 4 or 5 times longer and much more effort. When I was a dork in high school I used to read Jules Verne simultaneously in both languages and critique the translation.

Not bad at all, honestly. A good finishing point and left it just open enough that the author could dip back in if she wanted.

Don't imitate kusoneko, the humor of her character is being treated well despite being shitty (you know, like some cats). You pull that in a group and even fairly restrained players may neglect to come to your rescue when you need it.

Laios is actually a pretty good autist
    >No real signs of cognitive impairment, actually pretty intelligent according to his stats and his feats but no genius
    >nevertheless comes across as borderline moronic at times due to how socially maladjusted he is
    >struggles to get along with people (was engaged but ran away from home, couldn't tell that Sureau hates his guts etc.)
    >struggles to maintain a career (abandoned the possibility to be the next village chief and ran away to the army, then ran away from the army to become a murderhobo)
    >prefers to limit himself to a small group of confidents (other than his sister and party, who does he even get along with?)
    >extremely narrow interest that borders on obsession
Laios is saved from being completely dysfunctional due to the following factors:
    1. His autistic obsession relates to something useful for building a career, if a highly niche one (compare autists obsessed with trains vs autists obsessed with MLP)
    2. He seems to display good leadership traits (mostly planning and decision making) in spite of his autism
    3. The flashbacks and the way he talks about her heavily suggest that Falin helped "translate" from autism to English, softening the social consequences while also acting as a support pillar to Laios
    4. He was forced to spend a lot of time overcoming great challenges with a small group (especially his second party), effectively forcing them into deeper friendships
    5. He's tall and handsome
    6. Living in a time before modern psychology, he was simply told that he was a weirdo rather than someone suffering from an incurable handicap

Its a specturm. But here are some classic
Socialy awkward / hard to read the room. Often hate eye contact. Rather llook juuuust beside the eyes of the person they talk to.
Have pre-rehersed responses for things like greetings etc. Shledon Cooper in Big Bang Theory always offers a sad person a hot bewerage. That kind of thing.

Habits. Always eat the same food. Sit in the same spot. Wear the same kind of clothes.

Avoid any food with mixed up ingrediens (stews etc).
    Preferably something bland.

    Super detailed knowledge about something.
IRL? Trains. Pokemon. Old footboll teams
RPG? History or other academics. And in partciular the history of halflings or whatever. A particular crafting skill.

In DND a Wizard is probably a better fit than a Sorcerer.

I've always felt this particular "autistic" trait was less an aversion to flavor more just autistics don't like changing their routine so they continue eating like they did as young children.

Diagnosed aspie, everything here is true except the mixed food part. Although if I have a plate of stuff that's like a cut of meat and side dishes, I always eat every item fully before starting on the next item.

    >Awkward and uncomfortable in social interactions
    >Short temper
    >Odd speaking patterns, usually some kind of monotone and tendency towards specifics
    >Won't make eye contact
    >Extremely sensitive to loud noises and germs
    >Rich intellect wasted on rote memorization of useless details, usually regarding niche interests like trains or airplanes.
    >Inclination towards childish subjects like cartoons and LEGOs.
So yeah OP, like others have said just be yourself.

My aspergers basically gives me the following traits:
    >Bad hand-eye coordination, took me until high-school to learn how to tie my shoes. I think video-games helped offset a lot of this though.
    >Zero Empathy: I cannot read peoples emotions at all. I mean- I know laughing means happy and crying means sad, and I want people to be happy and not sad. But like usually people feel some of the emotion in another person and I can't. Basically this translates to being completely unable to 'read the room' which reads as a lot of unsensitivity.
    >Very literal mindset: I can understand sarcasm just fine, but still I tend to focus much more on the text of peoples words than its subtext which tends to completely fly over my head.
    >This ones a bit hard to boil down, but it something is in my interest I can soak up the knowledge like a sponge. A lot of people mistake this for general intelligence, and I like to think I'm smart, but it's a selective ability I can't turn on or off. This often gets characterized as 'obsession', but I'd say it's more I have a handful of topics I'm really interested in, and like nothing else. And I can't fake being interested in norrmie stuff. So pick a handful of topics- particularly nerdy shit, movies, video-games, a couple others. And then if the conversation isn't about those things, stay quiet and wait until the conversation becomes about those things. Then pounce and talk exclusively about those things long after people want to move on and change topics.
    >Another aspect, aspergers people tend to think quickly and make logical leaps quite easy. So something that seems obvious to an aspergers person often comes across as completely unrelated since nobody else shares the same train of thought. This is often related to the 'areas of interest' cause someone with aspergers can easily play six degrees of seperation and find a way to relate something seemingly unrelated back to that area of interest.

    >65% of the time say something completely autistic when I'm trying to create rumors about a rival, or completely frick up romancing a priest that was very into me
    >eventually die
    >shining moment of greatness was when I convinced the biggest criminal in town to help us escape a city, dooming us to repay a debt we have no chance of repaying
    >second character, play Warrior/Bard, basically a barbarian with a troupe of like 100 bandits spread across the mountains
    >can hide my autism with excuses like "oh my guy doesn't really get etiquette
    I'm in my element now
