Are XSX and PS5 still in short supply? I got mine ages ago so I don't keep an eye on it any more.

If it's hard to get one then I guess the Series S is still a decent option.

There's simply nothing else that can beat it for price to performance, it's my top recommendation especially for people who don't have PCs they can slap a graphics card in or aren't interested in PC gaming
Even if you already have a solid gaming PC, it still makes a great 2nd device to plug into your TV and play shit on Retroarch without even hacking it

      >There's simply nothing else that can beat it for price to performance,
The PS5 digital is a mere $100 more expensive but has twice the storage and twice the power.
It's definitely the cheapest way to game but it's not the best value.

$150 more, and it would be nice if you can actually buy one, but you can't
Also lacks sideloading apps and Gamepass, which for now, is far better value than PS+
Instead you have to buy $70 + tip movie games from Sony

That's true, next gen games are too expensive. Most of the games I played on my XSX were through Game Pass.

PS5 digital owner here and you're completely right. I need Sony to at least offer up those $70 games day 1 on there new ps+ service at the very least. And also add more shit on there.

I don't get how this thing just promises to get every game the series X can. I have to assume at some stage a publisher will just pass up xbox for PS5/PC so they don't have to deal with series s bullshit.

by cutting the resolution to 1080p pretty much

Just lower the graphics and resolution, it's basically a 1080p box while the big boy consoles are 4k boxes. Just like how you people are running modern games on lower end graphics cards
