So I’m finally play this game after playing all the others ones (except zero) and IT’s terrible.
>Puzzles don’t give any hints. If they do they’re so vague that you have to rinse and repeat for 20 mins.
>Shitty slow door opening animation which causes game to feel sluggish.
>Terrible textures that cause important items to bland with the background.
>Terrible map design that forces you to backtrack
>Garbage tank controls
filtered. stay bad & die mad - only gamelords can play such a masterpiece
>filtered
Seriously how were people supposed to know how to do this? There’s no hints or anything
I can't tell if you are pretending to be moron? Ever since more shit-skins got access to the internet, the rate of low-IQ posts have increased tenfold. Assuming you aren't trolling or are just brown, you have to look at the paintings hanging at the end of the room. They tell you what to do.
You are wrong anon, this puzzle doesn't make any sense. If you've found the logic of it, please share, everyone is eager to hear.
The game is great, but yes, you are right on this one. There is no tip or logic besides keeping pushing it into the correct order. People have been trying to figure it out for years what the "logic" is and we still don't have an answer. It make be a troll puzzle, like that chocolate bar on Conker game.
I just had an idea. I'm just throwing it here because I don't want to verify it now. But since the mansion keys are based on the suits of the cards, maybe the order you need to push the status are based on the order you find the keys of the mansion? Or discard them?
That would tie the knights to the mansion keys.
>But since the mansion keys are based on the suits of the cards
forget it, RE2 keys were based on suits, not RE1.
For frick's sake the logic for this one *is* the trial and error. It's paying attention to how the knights react when moved, then trying again with a different configuration. There's no "clue" you need to know beforehand, it is literally the one puzzle where you're supposed to try it out until you get it right
Trial and error defeats the purpose. It isn’t even considered “trial and error” because you can get fricking punished for pressing the button. Also What’s the point of having the knights a specific order on the painting when you don’t need to put them in that said order in the puzzle?
So what's the point of the cards and the painting?
it feels to me that it was a troll puzzle an the puzzle was figuring it out that it was a troll puzzle. I've figured everything in the game, including the cryptic sword/clock one, except for this one. I mean, again, I think I've figured it out, it's a troll puzzle.
>I mean, again, I think I've figured it out, it's a troll puzzle.
That's straight up what I meant yes
I just found a post on Reddit where the poster said that the Official Navigation Book has a solution for this puzzle that is wrong compared to game, so it's speculated that they changed the original puzzle before the release, thus changing it into a trial and error solution. Maybe they made a mistake somewhere on the code or maybe they did it on purpose for trolling the players.
I beat the game when I was 9, with no internet, no manual and extremely basic reading comprehension. I forgot how I did it but if I could, you can. No excuse
>uhhhh I was a child with infinite patience and infinite time
>just do the exact same thing today
asinine backwards logic
the internet exists just for this sole purpose
these things were designed to waste your time or money
yeah, if there is anything children are known for, it's patience.
>Easiest puzzle in the game
LOL! You're joking right?
The clock with the sword fight was the easiest. The knight one literally gives no hints or clues. At light the stained glass puzzle gives you hints
Okay, thank you for the feedback! Please refrain from making threads in the future!
meme game
>playing the demake
why?
REmake is better than original game. Where did this contrarianism start?
>REmake is better than original game
What did this contrarian mean by this? Original sold more and kicked off the franchise. Demake failed so hard it almost killed the franchise (effectively did, re4 rebooted it)
>REmake is bad because it sold bad
>Even though REmake HD sold like crazy and was one of the reasons why capcom decided to make REmakes
The original REmake sold like shit because Resident evil fans were butthurt that it was a Nintendo exclusive you dumb homosexual zoomer. A lot of the fans saw it as a betrayal and majority of RE fans only played on Play-Station. When the re-released it as REmake HD, the game sold like crazy.
The dumb part is that if you argued about remakes of 2 and 3 you'd have more point but 1 is mostly the same game, with only some small differences including the whole lisa arc which yeah it wasn't needed but if you think it makes or breaks the game you're just delusional. It sold worse, because RE1 was on every platform there was while remake was restricted to Gamecube for a decade. The RE exclusivity contract with Nintendo ended after 4 sold like shit and only when it was ported to other platforms it started being successful which is what saved the franchise.
All that time people always noted that among gamecube games that were worth playing, remake was one of the biggest ones until it was released on more platforms and even then people still didn't mind it, for whatever reason they started b***hing about it after RE2RE.
If the game was significantly different I'd understand there being a point but it's 95% the same, if the aforementioned lisa and I guess soundtrack makes you drop it then at least pretend re1 is 7/10 or something.
>significantly different
was this costume in the original game, can't seem to find it again?
was it some part of a weird romahck or the dual shock versions?
Director's cut.
Iirc the game had some port exclusive cowtumes and I don't think there's a single non modded version with all of them
The REmake is considered one of the worst instalments in the series by just about anyone who has played both and given how it sold, literally what the frick are you talking about you deranged moron?
it's considered the best remake in all of gaming
>*
The original sold bad because it was locked on GC and there were some internal politics, IIRC, between the director that stopped the game from being ported. RE4 was ported to PS2. I'm not sure if it's true, but people say that Mikami left CAPCOM after RE4 being ported to PS2. There was a problem with Clover too. Anyway, politics played a huge part on why REmake sold poorly.
>The REmake is considered one of the worst instalments in the series by just about anyone who has played both
>Literally no one has ever said that
Actual brainrot contrarianism. Ask anyone and they will say REmake is better and is considered to be one of the best RE game in the series.
>given how it sold
Using your logic the best RE game is RE5 because it sold the best. As other anons said
, REmake sold like shit in 2002 because it was locked to the game cube.
If as a kid I was able to beat this, any adult with a brain should be able to do it.
By they way, are you really complaining about the graphics of a 20yo game?
You probably didn’t have a choice. Your gaming library was probably limited.
Still how were we supposed to know which order?
ESG junk
>So I’m finally play
>all the others ones
I fricking hate you ESL gays so much.
t. ESL
Before replying such claims just ask Op's age.
Then leave haha
>(except zero)
0 lubes your butthole and invites the entire RE cast to run a train on you. Get fricked.
I played it for the first time in 2016 and thought it was great. Replayed it a couple of years later and realised it's one of the best games ever made
You are a Ditto in the gaming community.
That's all.
>all the others
Must've been just the remakes.
I can't play this because I'm too paranoid about limited saves.
