so is this going to fix the "joystick grinds down the innards and becomes loose if you use it too much" or is that going to still exist in a $50 reproduction of a 25 year old game controller?

just use a modern controller
I wouldn't be surprised if the mechanism was replaced with a modern analog stick that's more durable but lacks the precision required to pull off feats in games like F-Zero X, which speaking of
>Nintendo still not bundling the expansion kit
Watch Japan get the expansion kit
Will it need it?
I already pre-ordered 4 because I'm not a poorgay Black person on section 8
link?
Isn’t section 8 that movie about Black person aliens getting discriminated against?
thats district 8
So what the frick is a section 8?
Your thinking of Ghosts of the Machine
I'm gonna get 2
hopefully they work on PC as well
Nes and Snes controllers nintendo sold where really good quality.
You will lose the ability to play these games when Nintendo shut down NSO in a few years
I'm pretty sure the controllers will work with PC, all the other Switch controllers do
I meant that massive library of games you get to play with NSO will be lost once Nintendo shut NSO down on Switch in 2-3 years and they'll start the library over on the next console
>50€
even the original didnt cost that much. fricking zoomies have to stop buying this shit or nintendo will soon make you pay 100 bucks for their games
you just described the joycons, so there's your answer
how do I buy this? is it buried somewhere in the eshop? I never figured out how to buy the snes one, the website didn't even work
https://store-jp.nintendo.com/list/hardware-accessory/controller/
but that's japanese
Move to Japan and use the link to order it then
Fun fact, it's because in the original controller they cheaped out and used plastic components to keep the joystick in place.
The issue is indeed a major problem for most official N64 controllers. Ironically, the same can't be said for most 3rd party controllers, which is why they tend to survive to this day.
And just to note, one of the worst games that more often than not "killed" controllers was the first Mario Party.
Also, does anyone know of any games that used the 64 D-pad? I'm honestly drawing a blank.
MISCHIEF MAKERS!
also the stadium games
