Nah it’s so perfectly and intentionally designed. The BB-DS3-Sekiro run was From at their peak doing what they do best. Tight, quality, balanced experiences where even the low points are on par with best parts of other games.
ER doesn’t feel more difficult than the 3 I mentioned, but it feels shittier to play. I don’t feel like I’m being rewarded for learning boss patterns as much as I feel like I’m in a moronic DPS race in ER. Especially in the back half of the game where every boss kills you in 3 hits and all they do is spam 18 hit combos with no recovery
I adore the perfection of Laurence being a literal reskin of Cleric Beast, I really felt the intention there, like Miyazaki's guiding hand was saying, 'this is how it was meant to be, I wanted it to be this way'.
I adorned the reused enemies and miniboss in the first area.
I adored the Living Failures being four lumbering inconsequential turds, it really felt like the perfect and intentional apology for the celestial Emissary.
No one actually cares about bloodborne. It's just locked onto playstation so no one can actually play it. Once you get your "pc port" all the trolls will come out to shit on your game(assuming you even played it and arent using it as some sort of tool to go after elden ring)
BB was massively shit on around 2016-19 where every new release used the better than Bloodborne post like they're doing with ER. I wouldn't be surprised if those same shitposters are using this game to attack ER. Fromsoft attracts alot of people to hate them or have a lot of posters have a chip on their shoulder for them.
A dedicated contingent of shitposters also crop up with every Souls game release spamming threads proclaiming Bloodborne to be the 'GOAT', or 'Still king' etc.
I have seen this happen with Dark Souls 3, Sekiro, Elden Ring, and now Shadow of the Erdtree.
It's bemusing because the threads have repeatedly occurred prior to the games/dlc's coming out, or within 5 hours of them releasing, within no serious chance for them to have actually played through the content.
It's either a show of unfathomably pathetic insecurity from Bloodborne's fanbase, or shitposters simply using these games as a means to incite anger.
Studio Japan did heavy lifting.
Miyzaki himself is a bad director for the actual game design aspects.
He's perfect for creating the worlds, themes, etc
But gameplay is 100% not him
>people are finally realizing a big part of Sekiro and Bloodborne being good is the fact that a tard wrangler was present (Studio Japan, Activision of all people)
Granted, the tard wrangler in question can also steer the game in the complete other direction (see, Bamco)
Nah this ER DLC is the fluke until proven a trend by the next games DLC. This shit is terrible but remember we've been through this with DS2 then Bloodborne came out and claimed a spot as one of the best games ever. May as well give him one more shot. It is a shame to see tho.
Yes.
They actually hired talented pepole with the money Sony gave them and
Miyazaki had a passion for the project.
humanity will never produce an art such as bloodborne.
ToH filled in for end-game quality content that was absent in the original Bloodborne
Elden Ring's end-game was so complete and high-quality already that SOTE just feels like more on top of it
But seriously, we're talking about a small 4 hour dlc with five new bosses (two of which are pretty garbage), and three areas.
Elden Ring's DLC has like 11 large bosses and numerous other minor ones, on top of a several dungeons and open world areas. The comparison isn't even fair.
its an action game which gives you plenty of tools to deal with ADHD cracked up monsters. Stick to turn based games where you roll until its your turn to attack.
SOTE is better
You're going to have to learn to cope with this sooner or later, so get used to it
Everyone forgot how shit the Living Failures fight was but at least that was more entertaining than the entirety of Elden Ring.
it also had one of the best ost in a videogame
Miyazaki + Japan Studio was the actual dream team.
Not really, From DLCs used to always contain great moments that became highlights of the game.

But DS3 was ass

what an original opinion
Is Armored Core taken into account here?

I played it on PS4 and I want it on PC.

moron.

Seems to be at this point. It’s far and away the best DLC they have made
It'll never be the best game they made, as long as it's stuck in a sub 30 fps on a dead console. The best FromSoft game is Sekiro.

Yes indeed
Pic related

Waiting for the pc port for over 3 years
It was always trash. Yes. Go play it again knowing what you know now.
Go on. It’s just as good as you remember, obviously, right?

it happens once in awhile
I dropped it 10 hours in since I got bored. I never got the hype around it.
