It's the only enjoyable campaign 343 has made >he enjoys the two games Bungie specifically made to not be Halo games over Bungie's actual three Halo games
You were never a Halo fan.
Single player Halo was only ever okay in ODST.
Everything else is dull mediocrity largley saved by it's intresting enemy variety/AI and decent level set-ups that make it just a cut above from your typical boring as shit military shooter of the 2000's.
never played halo until just recently and I just went through all the games so I'm not blinded by nostalgia or anything and I'd have to say, yeah, yeah it is.
I liked ODST a lot too but mainly for the atmosphere.
If that was the case, both would have sold better, the only ones that liked those two games were never Halo fans from the start, stay on your Call of Duty where you belong. The only good campaigns are the actual Halo campaigns.
Do not compared Eternal to the dogshit that is Infinite. The only thing that game has going for it is the multiplayer's gameplay that is it. Granted its the most important part but there's other things bogging it down as well.
Eternal? Sure, I've replayed that thing four or five times by now, it's fun as frick.
Halo? Frick off, the newest one is a ton of open world busywork too.
Doom Eternal, sure I guess. I liked 2016 better but fine. Halo Infinite I dont think so, not for just the campaign no. Maybe if the multiplayer wasn't free to player and had more content from Day one.
can you even mod the gamepass version yet?
im pretty sure linux has better support for it. (eternal modding sucks, but much better to have it than not)
Doom Eternal is only worth 30 bucks at launch as it’s only worth the campaign, the lack of TDM and battle mode being gay lowers it. Horde mode is fine(mods did it better). Halo infinite only now started to have co op and still doesn’t have forge/fire fight so I still won’t get it.
They still REALLY want us to play battlemode.
I keep unlocking skins for the demons that I wish I could use in single player instead. Fighting a mascot suit mancubus or a pain elemental in a giant army helmet would be silly fun.
>One was a fun FPS that tried something new and while wasn't for everyone is fricking fantastic when it clicks >The other is a generic open world with tons of Ubisoft distractions and the same old combat against annoying shielded enemies from 20 years ago >But Eternal has Doomhunters which also need their shields whittled down and recharge
Yes, and those can be completely ignored if you just smash the hovertank part generating the shield. If Halo had a skill shot option where you could break the Elites shield generator I'd like it more.
Halo Infinite campaign was pretty bad.
I spent a good amount of time playing Far Cry Halo, but the actual campaign missions were really lacking compared to the Bungie Halo campaigns
>people actually pay full price for video games
top kek
I only paid 20 dollars for Doom Eternal, and I have no interest in Halo Shitfinite
puke
I pirated Halo and still wanted a refund
DOOM eternal is S-tier for me, but they way he phrases makes me sick
>far cry clone
>worth $60
kek
>Infinite's campaign continues to make trannies seethe
Based
>he enjoys 343s halo campaign
back to youtube with you

Got Doom 2016 for 5 bucks a year ago or so, gonna wait for eternal to drop to the same price before buying.

Reach is the best campaign in Halo by far.
never played halo until just recently and I just went through all the games so I'm not blinded by nostalgia or anything and I'd have to say, yeah, yeah it is.

ODST is the most overrated entry in the classic Bungie games. In fact, it's exactly as you described more so than the other games.
I would sooner jump off a cliff than be subjected to another minute of 343i incompetence & wank. You could not pay me anything to play it.
Doom 2016 was awesome, Minigames Eternal was not
didn't 2016 actually have minigames to get runes or some shit.
Do not compared Eternal to the dogshit that is Infinite. The only thing that game has going for it is the multiplayer's gameplay that is it. Granted its the most important part but there's other things bogging it down as well.
The campaign is the only thing good about it, multiplayer is campaign gameplay neutered.
I couldn't even get myself to finish Halo.. And now I got 3 months again for 1e but I am still not feeling like using my time on that.
Eternal? Sure, I've replayed that thing four or five times by now, it's fun as frick.
Halo? Frick off, the newest one is a ton of open world busywork too.
I agree with Doom, but Halo?
Frick off.
Doom Eternal, sure I guess. I liked 2016 better but fine. Halo Infinite I dont think so, not for just the campaign no. Maybe if the multiplayer wasn't free to player and had more content from Day one.
>A Halo twitter account praising Halo
lmao, Infinite sucked along with every other Halo
>a-at least the Bungie games were good
No! They were dreadful.
Infinite's campaign is embarrassing. Did they really think monologuing monkey man was threatening?
Monkey was the best villain 343 has made beside Atriox, who shit on the villains of Halo 4 and 5.
paid full price for Doom Eternal and still don't regret it
haven't paid a cent for Halo Infinite and don't regret that either
eternal is a 9/10 for me, infinite fricking sucks on the other hand
>playing fps
>for the campaign
w e w lad
e w
w
yes cause singleplayer FPS is way better.
yes.
what's worse is that people are calling single player focused shooters main mode "campaigns"
Only trannies play multiplayer, go back to gay dances, gay boy.
Oh frick off. Infinite was dogshit. Phil is an absolute moron for not shutting down 343.
Eternal was shit, Doom 2016 was leagues better in both singleplayer and multiplayer.
>both on gamepass
xchads and pc gamepass bros can't stop winning
can you even mod the gamepass version yet?
im pretty sure linux has better support for it. (eternal modding sucks, but much better to have it than not)
let me rephrase, it doesn't totally suck, but its really under-developed due to lack of source code and mod-tools.
Halo was never good

I guess kind of? Infinite basically had no ending though, which is big shit.
It did though, Escharum and the Harbinger are defeated, the Master Chief, Weapon, and Pilot are a team now on the same page, Cortana is dead.
both of those games are on gamepass, why would you pay for them
Doom Eternal is great, but Halo Infinite is… ok at best. Definitely not phenomenal. Buy Amid Evil instead.
DOOM 2016 > DOOM Eternal
Doom Eternal was worth the price but I wouldn't pay a single dollar for fricking Halo
This is also true
I liked Eternal just fine but 2016 was better
Infinite is a 5$ experience
Eternal is a 20$ experience
This is being generous
DE is on sale often. HI isn't.
Halo Infinite campaign was pretty bad.
I spent a good amount of time playing Far Cry Halo, but the actual campaign missions were really lacking compared to the Bungie Halo campaigns
games have been $60 since 2006-2007
The PS2 era was the last time they were $50
i had all of them for free in local torrent shop.
