this dudes motto + konmari and self realizations of I genuienly don't use or touch 80% of the shit I owned
one helpful method is the box system
put all your stuff/games/whatever in a box and set a timer for a month and see what you actually took out of the boxes (keep it out when you take it out don't put it back in when done) and in that time you'll learn what you actually care about/use
Just take the plunge, man.
Digital is just stupidly convenient compared to having to get off my fat ass and frick with discs.
Were you really going to trade in that $60 disc for like $4 at Gamestop?
How? Just sell them, get a big ssd with that money, and dump the pirate versions of them. Full digital ownership in case the internet shits itself, and free space for you. This is what I have done with my ps vita and ps3 and I havent looked back
>minimalist >needing to back-up all their shit in high-rise sized server complexes owned by companies that profit of your personal information
Nothing more pathetic.
During post secondary I bought a lot of games on disc and the game cases just kept piling up. I decided enough was enough and got rid of just about all of my physical games. Now I only buy physical if there's no other option
>immediately coming to Ganker for validation
Regret still lingers in your mind. You will be buying back all those games within a month, paying 3 times as much for worse condition copies of what you had before.
I deleted all my codex games.
Ended up replacing them with repacks.
Who else /storageHoarder/
If there's an emulator for it then you don't need it anymore, that's my motto.
not me... i'm still shackled to the material world
how'd you do it, bro?

I do this, but I give it a year. If I haven't used it in a year then it goes, unless it has some form of really sentimental value.

I won't buy a game unless it's physical. Not until these scumbags introduce a refund service for digital games.
