Satan in a joke character, he's an old, weak, cowardly loser who takes credit for the work of the Z fighters, he even refuses to fight in his shitty earthling tournaments because he knows evevn regular humans like Bora could easily beat him.
The only good thing he did was kewp Buu calm for a while and he only did that so Buu didn't kill him, he wasn't actually trying to help anyone, he was just looking out for himself as usual.
This is also why Videl's horrible personality comes accross so much worse than Chichi's, because she bases it on being the daughter of this moron when the audience knows he's a worthless twat.
>Brings Gohan and Videl closer together when he gives her a Senzu >Learn that Spopovich obtained some special power when he should be weaker than Mr. Satan. From that fight, and learning about Babadi later, Vegeta decides he wants to be possessed to beat Kakarot

Gohan and Videl closer together when he gives her a Senzu
They were already close before, Videl blushed at the idea that Gohan wanted her to look cute when he asked her to cut her hair.
that Spopovich obtained some special power when he should be weaker than Mr. Satan. From that fight, and learning about Babadi later
Gohan getting his energy drained was the important part of it because Shin needed to know where the ship was at.
We should just recognize and accept the fact GT had cool ideas, but executed them horribly, and enjoy that ideas being done reasonably well elsewhere (the games LOVE using GT stuff anyway)
>had cool ideas
GT was creatively bankrupt.
Black star is just the hunt for the Dragon Balls.
Baby is Hatchiyack.
Super 17 is fusion reborn.

By cool ideas I mean SSJ4 and Omega Shenron, that's about it for what I see truly non-fricked up, the Black Stars Dragon Ball are only superficially cool but fall apart under any scrutiny.

I actually like the idea of giving the dragon balls some fricking consequences for once, ever since their limits were removed they're just a free ticket to revive everyone so there's no stakes aymore.
>The only good thing he did was kewp Buu calm for a while and he only did that so Buu didn't kill him, he wasn't actually trying to help anyone, he was just looking out for himself as usual.
You forgot the part where he decides to "spare" buu when he saw him playing happily with the dog and then fearlessly attacked the bastards who shot the dog even though they had guns.
Satan can't spare anyone, that was just his way of chickening out of a fight he would obviously lose without losing credibility.
By the time the dog gets shot he's already friends with Buu and the dog so at that point he's actually being heroic, but that's several days later.

>Satan can't spare anyone, that was just his way of chickening out of a fight he would obviously lose without losing credibility
What fight? He gave Buu a fricking bomb that he thought would kill him and activate it from a distance. From his point of view the risk was zero.

Buu wouldn't have died from that, he would have just gotten angry and pushed Satan's shit in.

I fricking know. But Satan was a moron and he thought it would work. That's why i said from his point of view there was no risk.
Satan's a joke because he's an odd contrast of what he is and his mindset. He's legitimately strong for a human, perhaps in the series. If he was in OG DB, he'd be a god early on. The humor is that from a man who IS strong is so blatantly aware of how absurd his circumstances are of people shooting energy beams and powering up and causing mayhem. He's a walking Toriyama joke character. >A man who is really strong... but is really self aware.
I mean if you were a certified badass and some dude just blew up a city in front of you, wouldn't your first instinct be "I'm sorry, have a good day"? That's basically it.
But I did kinda wish that Satan eventually grew into a serious character, but character depth and direct development was something Toriyama never done. He was much more focused on lighter depth and development, which made it have the illusion of stronger depth, ironically.
>refuses to fight humans
He legit won the world tournament he actually fought in
Hes legit, hes not overpowered like the main cast he can definitely beat most world tournament participants
And after witnessing Cell vs Z fighters first hand, he knows this shit is too much
>his shitty earthling tournaments because he knows evevn regular humans like Bora could easily beat him.
He unironically won the 24th budokai tenkaichi. He's powerful as frick for a human, just not compared to Krillin/Tien.
If we're getting Classic DB content for Sparking Zero, I hope they properly adapt their respective arcs. The 22nd budokai is one of my favorite arcs and it sucks that the games barely acknowledge it
They already said that Goku's story goes from Raditz to Tournament of Power so I doubt they'll cover DB arcs. Honestly one of my hopes is that the DLC adds more story content and isn't just characters.
>Which is why he got basically no screen time post Cell
Stated to held his own against a Cell jr and punched one in the face.
Saved the universe in the Buu arc.
I hate when people doompost HEROHOPESAVIOR.
You should be happy for what he has done not be a depressed homosexual.
Toriyama gave zero fricks about muscle anatomy until around the time Goku went super Saiyan. He really didn't even try drawing pecs or abs on Teen Goku.
He has a good character arc that reaches its conclusion when he jobs to Nappa. Big Green proceeds to go through the same arc but at a slower pace so he doesn't get instantly obsoleted in the narrative
Tien peaked in his introductory arc, going from a dickish proto-Vegeta who has a change of heart, then becomes a generic goody-goody with no personality. The only interesting thing about him is he has a wide variety of bizarre martial arts techniques, and the very first character to fly using his ki.
>Great character arc >Always had his own stuff to do outside of fighting and wasn't tied to the cast as he was traveling all over the world >Always helped out whenever he could >Saved Goku from Daimao which allowed him to kill the demon king in one hit >His Taiyoken was crucial to beating Bejita >Fricked up Cell and saved Android 16 who ended up being a huge player later on >Came at the climax of the Buu arc and saved Dende and Mr Satan and without those two the day wouldn't have been saved therefore by extension he saved the universe >Never took any cheap power ups >Strong as frick without it all things considered
Because pinning Cell down in a crater with Neo-Tri Beam when he's like beyond 100x weaker than him is some gang shit. I never liked his design and still don't but that one moment in the Cell arc is so memorable that he earns respect.
A lot of people are fans of him specifically due to the Cell (and Buu to a lesser extent) scenes. I like his Chinese martial arts movie style, which I don't think was really replaced by any later characters.
Why did Toriyama make every Dragon Ball character execpt for Goku irrelevant? Like why just make 99% of the cast completely useless? (And in some cases forgetting about them entirely) Don't get me wrong, shounen of all sorts are irredeemable trash, but I like the DB cast.
Toriyama just doesn't seem to like writing large casts but got stuck with one due to DB going on for long and him introducing new characters every arc. Note even before the Saiyan arc you had for example Oolong quickly fading into the background after the first arc and Roshi written out of battles as soon as he lost to Piccolo.
Respect for a warrior who never gives up. You can't be the best in life, for the vast, vast majority of us that's the reality but can strive to do your best which is what Tenshinhan does. He's a true hero.
this is literally the one actual bad thing Tien does and he is sorry for it at the end of the tournament.
Like all of Goku's friends were once enemies or jerks to him.
LOL the one? How about that time he thought he had Goku killed because he knew his secret with that purple boar?
He actually tried to kill Goku and was pretty sure he did.

Vegeta tried to blow up earth just to defeat Goku, and then sold his soul to Babidi to get stronger allowing Buu to be awakened

Everyone fumbled with Cell. Piccolo, Trunks, Begita, Goku and Gohan.
Tien stalled Cell (who only reached his perfect form because of Vegeta, by the way), and stalled Buy/prevented him from killing Gohan/Hercule. Vegeta got his booty beat by both characters. Every character other than Goku and Gohan and Piccolo consistently jobbed from the Saiyan Saga onwards.
Wasted potential. He was the 2nd to last relevant non-Saiyan fighter behind only Piccolo. I wish him and Chiaotzu didn't immediately frick off after being revived by the Namekian Dragon Balls.
yamcha got cucked, and never recovered
Tien was cool, and never dropped the ball.
It's actually impressive that just a human held Cell against the corner.
His kikosho is sleeper stronger than kamehameha and it's ridiculous that goku hasn't stolen it yet. or any other more amoral Z fighter for the matter.
I guess you could say they dropped the ball with his super design, because it's less cool.
>There's a war between piccologay and tiengay on Ganker atm

So the western fandom is worse than... the western fandom? Huh?
That's Sonny Strait, dub actor for Krillin and Bardock. He mentions three characters and of all of the characters he regularly voices in Dragon Ball besides those two, General Blue is the only who would be in a game like this.
Now he may not be talking about Sparking Zero (though that seems fairly likely as the timeline matches up) and he may not be talking about General Blue but the odds seem good.
OG being in should have been somewhat of a given considering we saw Kid Goku. >General Blue >Tao Pai Pai >Tamborine >Piccolo Daimao >Kid Goku and Kid Chichi >Eighter
Makes sense, he doesn't have enough animated moves to make him different from regular SSB Vegeta. Having it being an actual numerical power up is cool.
It is lame as frick, it doesn't even look like SSBE at all which is egregious (even more insulting with the fact that the actual SSBE bulky form is in the cover art)
All these morons that are saying that " it doesn't matter he's not in, he did nothing in the series" are fricking speedwatchers, Super Vegeta did FAR less than SSBE and he's in
This roster is missing a 3rd Kefla, SS2 Teen Gohan, SS Gohan, SS2 Gohan, Golden Frieza, and Full Power Frieza (Z); also character placement is all over the place.
Is the shin kikoho still a one shot? This game seems to have a higher damage to health ratio so maybe my fuarking hero tien can 1 shot 90% of the roster.
>Pretty sure that's because the player doesn't know it's a multi-input ult. That's how it was in the old games.
Maybe I missed the input screen for it but to what I saw there wasn't any indication of him being able to shoot it more.

Bulma has more presence than most of the cast, male or female, in Super. In terms of importance/screen time:
Goku > Vegeta > Whis > Beerus > Bulma > Mai > Trunks > Pilaf > Shu > Piccolo > Cabba > 18 > Krillin > Gohan > the rest
Why did Toriyama make every Dragon Ball character execpt for Goku irrelevant? Like why just make 99% of the cast completely useless? (And in some cases forgetting about them entirely) Don't get me wrong, shounen of all sorts are irredeemable trash, but I like the DB cast.
blame the japs, they want Goku to be the one to win. All the time.
And when Gohan was the one to save the day for once, everyone was like "make Goku the hero again"
Give the japs some respect you dork loser, the worst Jap writing is still in another league compared to western writing. Their worst writing is better than the "Best" writing for western authors.
They're only irrelevant to Gokus story, they all live happy and fulfilling lives and have completed character arcs. >but they need to be Universe busters too!
Why? Especially when they can introduce new characters that actually have a reason to keep up with Goku.
Just stat buffs. The only thing that could be changed is you could make it so non flying characters could learn to fly which training mode tells you about.
It's pretty much identical to the PS2 controls, only difference being Ki Blast being moved to L1, and Revenge Counter replacing Lock-On since it seems that locking onto characters might be automatic now.
He helped out in the last second and his efforts weren't wasted that's all that matters to me. Still my favorite scene of his to this day.
1 and 3, 2's story mode is weird boardgame
>2's story mode is weird boardgame
I enjoy how different they made the story. In the Japanese release of the game they got stage 10 whereas in EU and US there were only 9 stages.
The Tri-Beam kicks above its user's weight class. It was fricking insane at the time of its introduction, and the fact that it lets Tien immobilize Super Buu for some time only goes to show how busted it actually is.
I have watched the original Dragon Ball. Bulma is useless deadweight through the entire series, who only exists to be eye candy and to be used for gags over how much of a dumb bawd she is. The only reason Goku sticks with her is because the adventure leads to him meeting strong fighters to challenge. At least Pan can fight. >uhm, Dragon Radar?? capsule corp??
Plot conveniences that she absolutely does not live up to. Fricking Launch does more to actually advance the plot than Bulma does in the original series.
>mistaking Abridged/Dub secondaries to actual Z fans
Shameful moron.
Black Star saga (where Pan was most relevant) was hated in Japan, too. It was so hated that when GT was exported they outright skipped straight to the Baby Saga because they figured most westerners would hate GT like the Japs did. There are multiple interviews with Toei people/Toriyama where they talk about how surprised they were that Americans liked GT more than Japan did.
>Bulma is useless deadweight through the entire series, who only exists to be eye candy and to be used for gags over how much of a dumb bawd she is.
okay so you either didnt actually watch it, or youre a complete fricking moron.
>Bulma is useless deadweight through the entire series, who only exists to be eye candy and to be used for gags over how much of a dumb bawd she is. The only reason Goku sticks with her is because the adventure leads to him meeting strong fighters to challenge.
None of this is remotely accurate. Goku didn't even care about strong fights until the first martial arts tournament arc until then Goku was more concerned about keeping the four star ball safe. Not to mention Bulma is also the reason Oolong was leashed due to the noise sensitive laxative she gave him >At least Pan can fight.
No, no she can't. That's half the reason she causes trouble. The other half being that she's the dumb bawd you think bulma is, remember the very first time they got into trouble was caused by pan kicking the fricking ship and breaking it on top of that she wasn't even meant to go into space, she fricking stowed away on the ship and launched it prematurely.
It's the main reason he agreed to let her borrow the 4 Star ball, if you forgot. She basically said "if you come with me you can go on a lot of adventures and meet strong people", after her original attempt to seduce him failed and she realised he really liked using his strength. She treats him as a bodyguard for most of the series afterwards. >Oolong shitting himself
Is a gag used in what, two episodes? Oolong himself was basically replaced by Yamcha once he joins the main cast. They have the same personality, and Puar does the transformation schtick.
>Pan can't fight
Other than the time she fought the villains of the week like that mudfish dude and the Para brothers and the robots to try and save Trunks whilst Goku was busy with Rilldo. >she was a stowaway
And? Bulma caused constant trouble for the gang in the original series, constantly drawing attention from bad guys or antagonising the wrong people forcing Goku to save her stupid arse.

>It's the main reason he agreed to let her borrow the 4 Star ball, if you forgot.
No I didn't because unlike you I read it. The main reason he agreed to go with her was because
1) Gohan told him to be nice to girls
2) he thought he would get the ball back, Bulma never told him that they would scatter.
Strong fights were never a thing at the start. The closest thing to that was when she said boys are supposed to love adventure.
Everything else you've said here except for Bulma trying to seduce Goku is pure headcanon.
>Is a gag used in what, two episodes
It's literally the reason he couldn't escape from them anon. Being a gag doesn't change it's importance especially when it resulted in Oolong saving the day against Pilaf. >Oolong himself was basically replaced by Yamcha once he joins the main cast. Yamcha never had that level of importance in the story. You're thinking of Krillin who was basically a non transforming and strong Oolong complete with being a pervert.
>Other than the time she fought the villains of the week like that mudfish dude
They didn't even really fight Zoonama, the got him drunk and cut off his whisker and eventually Goku saved the day when he redirected a lava flow with a kamehameha.
So we've confirmed you've never watched GT and are just defending it for the sake of defending it.
Pan basically suggested drag if I remember right which was just a poor man's copy of Bulma's plan against Oolong anyway only it didn't have the slapstick moments of Bulma falling head over heels or Goku peeing which blew his cover.
>Bulma caused constant trouble for the gang in the original series
Not really no, it was almost entirely Goku and his naivety. I'd ask you to name an instance where Bulma was the one who got them in trouble but you haven't watched or read anything of this series.

>made me pull up the manga
She explicitly tells Goku that the balls will scatter after you make a wish, page 22 of chapter 1. And on page 24 (picrel) she goads him into going by saying "men are supposed to go on adventures", with the implication being that he should use his strength to explore the world. Right from the get-go he was fighting practically everything that would accept his challenge. In chapter 3 he's going around lifting boulders for fun, which is how he meets Turtle (mistakes him for a rock)
>it's why Oolong couldn't leave them
And? What relevancy does Oolong have to the plot? If anything, he's a net detriment because he can't fight but constantly talks shit.
>you misremembered one fight, therefore your entire argument is invalid
Notice how you skimmed over the machine mutants or the Para brothers, because it blows your argument out of the water.
>it was entirely Goku's naïveté
The very first fight Goku gets in is caused by Bulma being a useless sack of fat that looks extra tasty to some dinosaur. In chapter 1.
Thanks for exposing the fact everything you posted is pure projection.

>She explicitly tells Goku that the balls will scatter after you make a wish, page 22 of chapter 1.
I shouldn't even reply to you because you just posted the page showing that she didn't tell Goku that specific piece of information. Or did you not notice that the third panel was her thinking to herself?
As for page 22 itself, it's just showing how poor your reading comprehension is, she didn't say that the balls scattered after the wish, she said "somehow" as if they don't normally do that after a wish.
>And on page 24 (picrel) she goads him into going by saying "men are supposed to go on adventures", with the implication being that he should use his strength to explore the world
Which has nothing to do with strong fighters mind you meaning it wasn't something she said.
>What relevancy does Oolong have to the plot? >especially when it resulted in Oolong saving the day against Pilaf.
Oolong is the reason why Pilaf never had his wish granted, he got in his way and wished for panties.
Again this also confirms you never watched GT either since that was the wish that gave birth to Oceanus Shenron too.
The climax of the first arc didn't belong to Goku, or Bulma, or Yamcha it was Oolong who saved the day. Are you going to argue that he didn't have plot relevance when he foiled the plot?

Anonymous
>she didn't explicitly word-for-word say "you can meet strong fighters", so nyeh
She openly says 'go on adventures and train', only a monumental homosexual arguing in the worst faith possible would look at that and say she wasn't talking about fighting.
>Oolong wished for panties
Episode 12. There are 153 episodes in the original series. His crowning achievement in the narrative happens at around the 8% mark of story completion. My point was he's effectively a nobody through the vast majority of Dragon Ball, with Yamcha assuming the same role from very early on. Your original claim was that Bulma was important because she keeps Oolong around, and that Oolong was important because he screws over Pilaf.
>Oceanus Shenlong
How many times are you going to shift the goalposts? We're talking about Bulma vs Pan, and their immediate value to the cast. Bulma indirectly being responsible for the creation of a main villain is a mark against her, not for her. Remember, your argument about Pan being bad is because she damaged the ship and caused it to crash (amongst other things). I think creating a fricking evil dragon is worse than crash landing on a planet they intended to go to anyway.

>She openly says 'go on adventures and train', only a monumental homosexual arguing in the worst faith possible would look at that and say she wasn't talking about fighting
You're saying that about a period of dragonball where the first training arc was never about fighting but rather
Wearing heavy shells
Delivering milk
Tilling the land with your hands
Out swimming sharks
Pushing boulders
And finding a stone in a forest
>Episode 12.
Yes, the climax of the arc and the reason why Pilaf never had his wish granted. Are you going to try and argue that Gohan didn't do anything important because he just killed Cell and most of the important fights of the arc belonged to Vegeta?
That's not how it works, plot relevance means that a character played a key role in a story not that a character played a key role multiple times.
>How many times are you going to shift the goalposts?
How is that moving the goalposts? I'm showing you that not onlu did Oolong have plot relevance in the first arc of the series but that it also came back up in the series you're currently defending and that if you knew as much as you claimed or even watched GT at all instead of just using it to shitpost loudly you would have known that you were wrong about Oolong's plot relevance.
That's directly related to the point at hand.

>that was just early DB so it doesn't count
Lol. Why would he be training if not to fight? Is your next argument going to be "kung fu is just for health and exercise"?
>are you gonna argue Gohan isn't important because he only killed Cell
He was the catalyst or a main player for every single saga in DBZ. Raditz kidnapping him sparks off the Saiyan Saga. He goes to Namek and actively fights Frieza's men when even Krillin was too scared to. Killed Cell. Served as the protagonist until Goku came back from other world in the Buu saga. What did Oolong do important after the Pilaf saga? You're a fricking moron.
>it's directly relevant
No it isn't. The discussion is about whether Pan or pre-Z Bulma was the more deadweight character in the franchise. You had to worm your way into the corner of "well Oceanus Shenlong wouldn't've existed if it weren't for a gag Oolong did very early in the series, and Oolong was only around because of Bulma". There are only two interpretations of that: either Bulma is fricking worthless tangentially related to the plot, or Bulma caused more problems than Pan did. Those are your options, so which will you choose?

>Why would he be training if not to fight?
To get stronger.
That's it.
That's Goku in a nutshell, he likes fighting but his goal is just strength and improving.
He had no interest in actually fighting other people until he participated in the world martial arts tournament.
>Raditz kidnapping him sparks off the Saiyan Saga. He goes to Namek and actively fights Frieza's men when even Krillin was too scared to. Killed Cell.
Anon, it was Goku, that's why he chose to stay dead in the Cell arc because everything revolved around him.
Raditz came to earth for Goku
Frieza came to earth for Goku
Cell was made to kill Goku
Gohan was simply a Deus ex Machina for two of those instances with the last requiring Goku's character to be completely rewritten to make room for Gohan who had done next to nothing in the arc until his fight with Cell.
Also do you even know what catalyst means?
>What did Oolong do important after the Pilaf saga? >That's not how it works, plot relevance means that a character played a key role in a story not that a character played a key role multiple times.
You aren't even trying to argue against what I've said, you're just acting as if it was never said in the first place. Whether you like it or not Oolong had plot relevance.
>The discussion is about whether Pan or pre-Z Bulma was the more deadweight character in the franchise
No. No it wasn't.
This part of the argument was about your general ignorance of the series in regards to plot relevance.
What happened is that you saw when I mentioned Oceanus a second time and thought the first mention of her and the second were part of the same argument despite the fact that the first instance was about Oolong and the second was about Pan being shown up by a bird.

Early on the only thing that stops him from fighting are whether someone is a good guy or not. As soon as Bulma tells him somebody is bad, he flies at them and rips them to pieces (this also blows apart the myth that Goku "only cares about fighting strong opponents in the sub, his saviour tendencies were a dub invention"). The second person he fights is some big wolf dude, he fights him because he didn't want to give up Turtle. He then fights Yamcha because Oolong calls him bad. Then Monster Carrot's crew because Bulma called them bad.
>Gohan was just a deus ex machina
Irrelevant. He was central to the plot, which was the point.
>Oolong played a key role
In the first saga. Again, we're talking about BULMA. Not Oolong. Oolong was your deflection when you couldn't find anything of value Bulma had done.
>No it wasn't
The argument started here:
Who the frick told you that?
Everyone hates her because she did nothing but cause unnecessary trouble.
>Daima Bulma

>Early on the only thing that stops him from fighting are whether someone is a good guy or not.
Exactly. That's showing that Goku didn't have a natural inclination towards fighting or he would have just fought from the get go. >The second person he fights is some big wolf dude,
He was a bear and like you said he fought him in self defence rather than seeking a fight with someone strong.
Same deal with these >He then fights Yamcha because Oolong calls him bad. Then Monster Carrot's crew because Bulma called them bad.
Oolong said Yamcha was going to kill them, which he was, and monster carrot's crew threatened them at gunpoint.
But none of this matters since it only proves that Goku didn't want to fight strong people until later in the story, like I said.
>He was central to the plot, which was the point.
That would imply he had a bigger role than performing the miracle.
Which he didn't. Gohan was always the Deus ex Machina random/lazy power up >suddenly becomes stronger than everyone and headbutts raditz >suddenly reflects the spirit bomb back at vegeta >suddenly transforms into SS2 AND can still beat Cell after he reaches the same level despite being stronger than Gohan before he transformed >elder Kai ritual boost >sudden beast transformation
Gohan is the Deus ex Machina of dragonball he doesn't really need to exist in the story since the important fights never belonged to him, he just jumped in at the end.
>In the first saga.
Which is all he needs to have major plot relevance. >Again, we're talking about BULMA. Not Oolong.
We're talking about both of them. You are legitimately confused here anon, no wonder you had to make so much headcanon to make sense of dragonball.
Projection.

And this is where you started downplaying Oolong's importance. What exactly is your point? Identifying the origin point is all well and good but it doesn't help if you can't follow a post more than three lines long without mashing all the points into one.

>he didn't have a natural inclination towards fighting
By that logic he still doesn't, because the only people he canonically fights are the nutjobs who show up openly threatening earth or his friends/family. Remember, he explicitly told Raditz to pound sand and only chose to fight him when Raditz tried to take Gohan.
Goku wanted to fight, he just didn't believe in fighting people who didn't deserve to get the snot kicked out of them. A trait he has always maintained.
>bigger role than just performing miracles
Irrelevant. He was the central driving force of the narrative, and by the time he gets to Namek he contributes more to the fights than anyone not named Goku/Vegeta/Piccolo. >admits he just doesn't like Gohan
>which is all he needs to have a major plot relevance
The debate was over whether pre-Z Bulma or Pan were bigger causes of problems in their respective series. Pan fixed more problems than she caused and was relevant from start to finish in GT, Bulma's only positive contribution was keeping Oolong in the gang and Oolong was only relevant in the Pilaf saga, by your own admission. THIS was my point. All of the complaints of Pan applied equally to pre-Z Bulma. Yet Pan is the one that gets shat on for 25 years, not Bulma. Why? Because most people's first introduction to Dragon Ball was DBZ, where Bulma isn't such a worthless bawd and the story revolves around bodybuilders fighting to the death and masculine bonding. Whereas GT was more like early Dragon Ball (pre-Baby, anyway) which DBZspics weren't used to and therefore had a melty when buff dudes weren't shouting and powering up every episode. GT has a lot of problems and is the worst Dragon Ball series, but it's in spite of Pan, not because. GT sucks because it shits on DB lore and the animation is trash. Pan is one of the few redeeming parts of it, along with SSJ4.

Even then it wasn't about Pan being dead weight, it was about how she was the cause of almost every issue they came across during their journey. Dead weight would mean that's she's useless and didn't impact anything, I'm saying that she caused most of the unfortunate events herself because of her rotten attitude.
You can't compare that to Bulma, even though they have similar personalities Bulma was a lot more conniving and actually smart often being the straightman of the situation to Goku's goofball.

>Bulma indirectly being responsible for the creation of a main villain is a mark against her, not for her.
What on earth are you even talking about right now? Bulma was never indirectly responsible for the creation of a villain unless you're trying to say that she was because she started the whole adventure? Even then without Bulma the fight would have been brought to Goku anyway since Pilaf already had some balls as it is,
Do you even know what you're talking about right now because right now it looks like you're just picking and choosing parts to reply to without understanding how they even go together.
> I think creating a fricking evil dragon is worse than crash landing on a planet they intended to go to anyway.
Bulma never made a wish that created a dragon in the same way Oolong did.
Syn was created when they revived everyone killed by frieza
Haze was created when Bora was revived
Eis was created when they revived everyone killed by DKP
Nuova was created when DKP wished for youth
Rage was when they revived Goku
Oceanus was the panties
Naturon was created when they revived all of the good people killed during the buu saga.
Also you're saying that as if the stakes for both weren't the same. The black star balls were going to destroy the earth after a year and the shadow dragons were destroying earth slowly just by existing.
Not gathering them and dealing with them would have ultimately resulted in the same thing, dragonballs travelling across the universe destroying planets wherever they go.

>Notice how you skimmed over the machine mutants
You mean when Trunks and giru cooked up a plan to get caught to infiltrate and Pan was none the wiser? And let's not forget that it was Goku who fought Rilldo. >or the Para brothers
Oh yeah because dancing was totally Pan doing something.
You could have at least said Luud or again, Oceanus Shenron since she actually had to hit them in those fights granted it was a fricking seagull that showed her Oceanus's weakness so she can't even hold claim to that.
>The very first fight Goku gets in is caused by Bulma being a useless sack of fat that looks extra tasty to some dinosaur. In chapter 1.
How is Bulma needing to go to the toilet and getting grabbed by a monster the same as pan being the direct cause of their setback that caused them to crash on Imecka?
Bulma never called the pterasaur guy and begged to be kidnapped but pan was the one who had a temper tantrum and kicked the ship.

>Trunks and Giru
The other machine mutants were not in on the plan. They were as evil as Rilldo, and therefore her fighting them was just as worthwhile. especially because their plan counted on Pan fighting them to cut their numbers down. Unless you'd like to argue that Goku fighting Rilldo was also pointless.
>she was dancing with the Para Bros
So were Trunks and Goku. They all broke free at the same time and fought alongside each other.
I was deliberately leaving out the bigger and more important fights because I was steelmanning your position (where you still got BTFO'd).
>how is Bulma at fault
She chose to leave Goku behind so she could have privacy. Her fault. Whether justified or not because she's a girl, it was her fault. I only named that fight because it was the first one in the series, to illustrate from day one Goku was running around cleaning up after her. I can list others, if you'd like. I've got the manga pulled up as we speak
>blah blah more projection
Every single point you've presented I've thoroughly debunked with info straight from the manga/anime, and every time you shift the discussion to another topic to try and deflect from the fact you have no fricking argument.

>The other machine mutants were not in on the plan
Okay? And?
What's your point exactly?
Pan didn't do anything to the machine mutants other than run, hide and be an overall nuisance to Goku and Trunks which also resulted in them being caught.
At no point in GT was she ever actually useful in her own right. I think she basically just scorched one basic machine mutant in that arc and that was it.
>So were Trunks and Goku
No one said that they weren't dancing. You're trying to argue that it somehow made pan useful. >and more important fights because I was steelmanning your position
Thats not what steelmanning is either and you haven't named any important fights where pan was the key anyway so what are you even trying to do?
>She chose to leave Goku behind so she could have privacy
Yes, like a normal person would. How is that Bulma's fault? The pterasaur wasn't even looking for girls in particular just humans to eat. >I can list others
No, not really. There's probably about two real instances of Bulma being at fault one being with Oolong when she ruined the plan and the other being when she accidentally blew up Raditz space pod.
Maybe a Namek filler? But that's about it.
Unlike pan where everything she does was a purposeful act done out of a temper tantrum or because she rushed headlong into something and put herself in danger.
>Every single point you've presented I've thoroughly debunked
No you haven't, the only thing you've debunked here is yourself. Quite literally since you posted a page proved me right.

Are you talking about when she was separated from Goku and Trunks because that's when this part >Pan didn't do anything to the machine mutants other than run, hide >I think she basically just scorched one basic machine mutant in that arc and that was it.
Happened complete with her wearing an empty shell and being thrown in the trash where she belongs.
>You using "she was just dancing" as a dismissal of her during that fight was you saying that.
Yes, because we were talking specifically about Pan, that doesn't mean that the others weren't equally as useless. Again you're trying to argue that pan was somehow useful in that moment when she wasn't.
>I was picking the absolute worst fights she was in
Ignoring the fact that all of her fights are the absolute worst, you never named any.
You just dropped the Para bros as if they technically fought them. Every other example came from me.

Afterwards she blasts through those 'elite' ones and makes her way up to the top and obliterates a dozen more trying to get to Giru. You're completely blanking out the part where she was in the teleporter room after the robot suit part.
>they were all equally useless
Then broke the spell and fought the Paras. Pan included.
>you never named any
I did, we're discussing them now.
>you can't just choose when you have to piss
You choose where you piss. She explicitly told Goku to sit and wait a dozen yards away where she was out of sight. She made the conscious decision to separate herself in a dangerous place. And, as I named in the rest of my post (which you dodged), she does it a dozen times more and continues to do so even into Z.
>Chapter 5, flirts with Oolong and pisses him off
And that's all you have.
"simping" for Yamcha and her general existence was actually stopping him from attacking them because of his crippling fear of women
The Ox King was simply on patrol, it wasn't Bulma shouting and it was almost Goku who got them killed, in the anime it caused a fight if I remember right, anyway if he heard her then he wouldn't ask what they were doing.
With the Rabbit mob they tried to hold her up at gunpoint first and Goku fought them.
Whether she was "being a b***h" or not didn't matter because they were unaware of his ability to turn things to carrots. Even then that's still on boss rabbit because he was antagonising her.
And finally, Pilaf had stolen the balls they were all angry. Not to mention in chapter 18 they had already been captured because of Goku.
>She explicitly says Goku will get stronger if he adventures with her, to which he agrees and goes
Not only was that not what I was referring to, I was referring to the fact that she didn't tell Goku that they scatter, that still doesn't have anything to do with strong fighters which was your original claim until you moved the goalposts.
You really just need to accept that you're wrong anon, this is just sad now.

She sneaks around, scorches nutt after getting blown up herself and the Goku escapes and takes over.
And I say "scorches" because she didn't kill him and he comes back and captures Goku along with the other sigmas while he's fighting Rilldo.
>She explicitly told Goku to sit and wait a dozen yards away where she was out of sight.

He... Literally didn't hear her.
If she was "screeching" he would have known what they were there for, also it was Goku who shouted the loudest when he called for the nimbus anyway.
>The Rabbit mob tried to hold her up because she got snippy with them.
Because they started flirting with her immediately after they had beaten someone up. And she didn't get snippy either she just calmly rejected them and said she didn't have time, then they escalated things by pulling out a gun. >She slapped his hand away which she didn't need to do >Even then that's still on boss rabbit because he was antagonising her.
You don't have an argument for this. >Game set match, thanks for playing
So you're admitting you're wrong finally. Good because the page you posted, even with the old fan translation, still adheres to what I said since she said "after a while" and not "immediately after a wish" both suggest that Goku could retrieve the ball immediately.
The page immediately after wouldn't make any sense at all if she said they scatter after a wish to Goku anyway.
Honestly why am I even trying to explain DB to you. It's clearly beyond your understanding.

Two, you want to talk about all over the place GT couldn't follow anything set up in the previous series and fricked up the continuity from the get go with the black star balls existing and no one knowing about them, you can't even argue that it's because they're a different set because so we're the namekian balls and the radar worked fine. Then there's the fact that the whole series didn't need to happen because they could have just called Shin to Kai Kai them across the universe to pick up the balls in five fricking seconds and let's not forget the utter bullshit of Goku being unable to maintain SS3 without his tail because of his young body like Gotenks didn't do it at a similar age with less experience.
Oh and one thing that personally pissed me off was that Toei had a depiction of hell from the saiyan arc right to the end of the series that was consistent and the GT suddenly made it this dark fricking cave for some reason.
But I could have forgiven all of that if GT was actually fun to watch, the animation was abysmal episode 5 of Super had better fight scenes than the entirety of GT it was just that bad.

One thing that pisses me off about "using Dragon Balls is actually bad!" means that Kami was right in trying to kill himself at the end of the 23rd budokai. >It's what I mean when I say this series had motherfricker STAKES.
There were no stakes to begin with anon, they could have just killed Dende if the worst came to worst since the dragonballs would have just turned to stone. In fact Dende presumably could have just split into two people like Kami did and made the balls inert that way too like the black star balls were in GT before Piccolo and Kami rejoined.
Even we aren't talking about stakes here, we're talking about animation and GT they didn't have any good fight scenes at all. This is the closest thing to a good piece of animation in GT and it's trash.
That's why you can't find anything from GT on Sakugabooru because it doesn't have anything.

>Fancy word for headcanon.
Anon, it's the justification GT used for the black star balls in the first place. Which doesn't account for everything post Kami fusion but whatever. >They had no control over the dark balls.
Which doesn't make an ounce of sense, the dragonballs weren't mystic relics by that point in time, they were just things Namekians could make and were connected to the creator in that they would turn into stone if the creator died.
That's not headcanon, that's everything established in the series and GT doesn't give any reason as to why it wouldn't work, they just never do it for some reason.
That's the problem with GT, it was poorly written and doesn't take into account anything that came before it and along with the animation was the reason why people hated it.
>What arc is that, the one where a parasite took over the whole planet?
The fact that you think the baby arc had any kind of stakes is laughable when it required Goku being hideously nerfed. That's where all the "stakes" come from in GT. Goku losing all of his skills and the rules being arbitrarily changed to create issues where there shouldn't be any.

It gets worse. SS1 Goku did better against Super 17 than Uub did, even though Uub should be way stronger than any Goku besides SS4 Goku.

The worst offender was Base Goku being able to kill a much stronger Super 17 even though SS4 jobbed a few moments prior kek.

The true worst offender was super 17 being 100% defenceless while absorbing energy despite the fact that Gero and 19 never had that issue. If his energy absorption worked like that then Goku would have just died.
Bonus, 17 could have also just tanked 18's hits instead of absorbing them when he saw Goku coming.
Bonus bonus, the Kamehameha went right through the hole Goku made after he punched him but still somehow disintegrated him how does that even make any sense if the Kamehameha technically missed?

Stakes? Good fights have nothing to do with stakes you idiot, it's about animation and half the time in GT they didn't even punch people directly and buildings and terrain were just tweened to show them falling over.
Can you even post a single good looking fight in GT?

Super has good arcs, at least. Goku Black, Tournament of Power, and Super Hero are all good.
i just might since it kinda deconfirms any chance of 23rd wt goku. i know i sound moronic or brown or whatever but i wouldve liked one more goku we havent gotten. couldve used him to cover the garlic jr movie and the raditz fight tbh
>know i sound moronic or brown or whatever but i wouldve liked one more goku we havent gotten
Dude it's the main character this isn't anything absurd to ask at all remember base Goku from Fighterz?
yeah i remember people complaining that the model was in the game but then sold as dlc. but you know what you’re right. im just too used to hostility over opinions on 4chins
>Tenshinhan's arm gets taken off >He yells in pain but then gets right back to fighting when Chaiozu is in danger (then he dies) >Bejita's arm is broken >He screams and cries and can no longer fight
Damn, he really does coast on his Power Level and lacks the vital warrior spirit.
i always thought she was a better fit and would probably have raised stronger children since suno never left jingle village so goku and gohan would have lived hardier lives there than with chichi.
>Ox King thought letting his 12 year old dress like this was a good thing
most humans couldnt touch her and the ones who could would get wrecked by ox king outside of the main cast. whats the issue?
1.- according to manga canon, Kid Chichi only appeared ONCE throughout all of DB's run, not counting flashbacks, which at most were simple drawings.
2.- Daima's main plot is about all characters becoming kids, and while the Ox king did use a warlord armor again in his kid form, chichi stuck with the chinese dresses. so yeah, they are trying to make people forget about her.
What was going through Toriyamas head when he made this? Who is this for?
Dragon Quest 3 was released around the time DB started, so he was on a sword and sorcery vibe, Chichi's armor was based on the DQ3's female knight armor, except chichi has a thong instead of the apron, the helmet doesnt have wings like the female knight, and she has a cape.
the helmet weapons (the magic beam and the boomerang cutter) were inspired by the second ultraman series, Ultra Seven.
>i did remembered someone mentioning that during the storytime we had on Ganker. so i apologize.
I think that person mentioned Ultraman.

the Ultraman/Ultra Seven thing is definitely true. Chichi does even the exact same poses when using the weapons.
The fact the Ganker jannies literally ALLOWS a REAL CP POSTER to go free in that board is absurd. That moron is posting that Bleach troony 24/7 every single day in many threads. He sometimes loses his mind and posts the most disgusting things too, including REAL CP, yet nothing happens to him at all.
Ganker is probably one of the worst boards.
Do mods knows about a literal CP poster going rampant in that board? Because nothing is being done about it.
They post e-girl shit to try and make people avoid the threads, but by calling it "real cp" you're making it sound like literal, actual, humans, not just drawn images.

>Tien treats Chiaotsu like a son
Chiaotsu is only 5 years younger than Tien, and was 15 during the 22nd Budokai when he was introduced. I think he's the same age as Goku
Isn't Chiaotzu like a chinese hopping vampire or something?
He's visually based on a jiangshi but in-universe he's just a guy. He's a bit dumb, loyal to Tien, and likes to play pranks (at first), that's about the extent of his character.
>Androids saga
For some reason, even after years, it's still hard for me to remember without rewatching that Androids saga is just the SECOND major plot of Z and happens right after the Space arc, not some later story
I don't know why, but my brain always tries to trick me into thinking there were like 1 or 2 story arcs between those, even though Android saga begins right after Namek with Goku's return. Same with Buu being just the THIRD one. I just keep thinking Z went for way longer than it actually did every time.
Anyone else feeling the same?
Why'd they decide to use the Japanese subtitle for this iteration? Are they trying to convince international audiences it's a new game, and not a scam?
We should just recognize and accept the fact GT had cool ideas, but executed them horribly, and enjoy that ideas being done reasonably well elsewhere (the games LOVE using GT stuff anyway)
Technically genderless. No junk at all. They just look male to humans, and use masculine pronouns for convenience/Toriyama isn't some troony-pandering xegendergay.
Biologically speaking parthenogenesis is not a hermaphroditic trait. You could argue that Namekians should technically be all female but Toriyama specifically has Dende shut down the notion when Bulma brings it up.
They reproduce asexually by producing eggs out of their mouths. King Piccolo does it to produce
Piano, Tambourine, Drum and Piccolo Jr. and is established to have done so with many more by the Turtle Hermit. There has never been a retroactive explanation for why King Piccolo's Demon Clan were so different from normal Namekians. Evil energy, presumably.
This guy got his work stolen by some literal maggots that made money behind his back. He lost a lot of motivation because of it. The DB community is filthy.
That's unfortunate. I hope he drops a tutorial before he bows out. There are only two Arcsys inspired topology tutorials on Youtube and they're both only for generic anime girls
Tribeam attack or whatever it is negates all power level differences and theoretically could even stop Beerus dead in his tracks. But Tien can't just use it casually. If Tien could get one off on Krillin, he'd win. Otherwise Krillin would win.
DB > DBZ > DBS [canon]
DB MOVIES > DBZ MOVIES > DBS MOVIES [varied canon] [BoG, RoF, DBS:B, DBS:SH considered canon]
GT [optional]
GT special [optional]
Dragon Ball Super Heroes/ Super Dragon Ball Heroes [non-canon, advertisement anime to sell cards]
Dragon Ball Evolution [hollywood slop]
There should be a shonen board on this site.
Saying "shonen" because One Piece, JJK, and so on, also behave like massive morons as well.
All these people need to take their sexual frustration to a larger board. 500 limit post threads aren't made to contain so many morons rushing to the bump limit.
>In a way, it's good that Toriyama is gone so the people working on DB can make the non-Saiyan characters relevant again.
the last major thing toriyama did for was write a piccolo movie, that other people molded into a gohan (saiyan) movie
other people being in creative control won't stop dragon ball being focused on saiyans, if anything it will only increase the focus on saiyans
>the last major thing toriyama did for was write a piccolo movie, that other people molded into a gohan (saiyan) movie
Which was another egregious rehash of Gohan's arc from Cell. Hero is a fricking terrible movie.
It was a rehash of Gohan's arc during the early Buu Saga. Gohan being washed up and trying to take things seriously again was also a thing during the Golden Frieza and Tournament of Power arcs.
Considering how DB threads is guaranteed full of ESLs, I vote to bring this back.

This dude
>made me pull up the manga
He didn't realise that the third panel was internal dialogue so he thought Bulma told Goku the balls scatter after a wish

How can he be the strongest HUMAN when he has three eyes? Krillin is the strongest human.
Krillin has no nose, how can he be the strongest HUMAN?
>How can he be the strongest HUMAN when he has three eyes?
Skill issue.
Seems that you guys forgot about the REAL strongest human.
>REDDITan
It's not 2008 anymore, no-one cares about this unfunny gag.
Mister CHADtan literally was one of the first characters announced with his own gameplay videos. Cope, weaklings. The CHAMP sells!
I do. Also, he's the man who saved the universe from Buu. Pay him some respect.
homosexual
Videl vs Spopovich was the funniest fight ever in the series because it served no purpose at all.
>Brings Gohan and Videl closer together when he gives her a Senzu
>Learn that Spopovich obtained some special power when he should be weaker than Mr. Satan. From that fight, and learning about Babadi later, Vegeta decides he wants to be possessed to beat Kakarot
Uh...
Gohan getting his energy drained was the important part of it because Shin needed to know where the ship was at.
>had cool ideas
That's why i said from his point of view there was no risk.
>literally made more for Earth than Tien ever did
>literally survived a fight against Buu while Tien didn't
OUR CHAMP! THE GREATEST HUMAN!
I don't give a shit about Tien, Satan still sucks ass.
>literally survived
Because of Tenshinhan.
I think Cell saga Satan was probably on par with Panput or whatever that guy’s name was that Goku fought before Krillin.
>refuses to fight humans
He legit won the world tournament he actually fought in
Hes legit, hes not overpowered like the main cast he can definitely beat most world tournament participants
And after witnessing Cell vs Z fighters first hand, he knows this shit is too much
>his shitty earthling tournaments because he knows evevn regular humans like Bora could easily beat him.
He unironically won the 24th budokai tenkaichi. He's powerful as frick for a human, just not compared to Krillin/Tien.
He's not even in the top 3, he's easily outclassed by Krillin, Yamcha and Uub.
human??? homie since when did humen have 3 eyes?
If we're getting Classic DB content for Sparking Zero, I hope they properly adapt their respective arcs. The 22nd budokai is one of my favorite arcs and it sucks that the games barely acknowledge it
I would be shocked if we didn't seeing as this costume is in
forgot pic
I just realized this is his Super outfit, my b
majin tienshenhan? So the M tattoo/mark thingy is on his third eyeball? HAHAa
They already said that Goku's story goes from Raditz to Tournament of Power so I doubt they'll cover DB arcs. Honestly one of my hopes is that the DLC adds more story content and isn't just characters.
Have they revealed a single DB character yet?
Yet he still jobs. Frick Toriyama.
>Frick Toriyama
No true Tenscholar would say words like that when Toriyama loves Tenshinhan.
Which is why he got basically no screen time post Cell and shat on in Super right?
>Which is why he got basically no screen time post Cell
Stated to held his own against a Cell jr and punched one in the face.
Saved the universe in the Buu arc.
I hate when people doompost HEROHOPESAVIOR.
You should be happy for what he has done not be a depressed homosexual.
>What-if where Tien gets his lick back from Buu
Fund it
Why do people pretend to like Tien?
They feel kinship with his bald ass head
He was cool once and people never let go. Also yamcha got too mainstream
He was cool whenever he got some action, let's not be disingenuous
What was up with how weirdly early Toriyama drew abs?
Toriyama gave zero fricks about muscle anatomy until around the time Goku went super Saiyan. He really didn't even try drawing pecs or abs on Teen Goku.
>yamcha got too mainstream
what? since when?
He has a good character arc that reaches its conclusion when he jobs to Nappa. Big Green proceeds to go through the same arc but at a slower pace so he doesn't get instantly obsoleted in the narrative
Those people watched Dragonball.
His kikoho is outright stated to be ten times more powerful than the Kamehameha. That's so fricking awesome.
Imagine if he unlock his 3rd eye
Tien peaked in his introductory arc, going from a dickish proto-Vegeta who has a change of heart, then becomes a generic goody-goody with no personality. The only interesting thing about him is he has a wide variety of bizarre martial arts techniques, and the very first character to fly using his ki.
>Great character arc
>Always had his own stuff to do outside of fighting and wasn't tied to the cast as he was traveling all over the world
>Always helped out whenever he could
>Saved Goku from Daimao which allowed him to kill the demon king in one hit
>His Taiyoken was crucial to beating Bejita
>Fricked up Cell and saved Android 16 who ended up being a huge player later on
>Came at the climax of the Buu arc and saved Dende and Mr Satan and without those two the day wouldn't have been saved therefore by extension he saved the universe
>Never took any cheap power ups
>Strong as frick without it all things considered
he is the strongest humang
A meme/shitpost started on GameFAQ's of all fricking places that made it's way to Ganker.
Because pinning Cell down in a crater with Neo-Tri Beam when he's like beyond 100x weaker than him is some gang shit. I never liked his design and still don't but that one moment in the Cell arc is so memorable that he earns respect.
>I never liked his design
what's wrong with it? I thought he got a pretty nice redesign in super
It's very clear Toriyama frickin hated him, which makes him likeable if you're contrarian enough
They're insecure because Krillin is canonically stronger.
A lot of people are fans of him specifically due to the Cell (and Buu to a lesser extent) scenes. I like his Chinese martial arts movie style, which I don't think was really replaced by any later characters.
Toriyama just doesn't seem to like writing large casts but got stuck with one due to DB going on for long and him introducing new characters every arc. Note even before the Saiyan arc you had for example Oolong quickly fading into the background after the first arc and Roshi written out of battles as soon as he lost to Piccolo.
i like all the z fighters, there shouldnt be any console wars over who you like
Respectable opinion.
This. People who take those character wars seriously ends up outing themselves as mentally ill persons. Just look at Ganker.
Respect for a warrior who never gives up. You can't be the best in life, for the vast, vast majority of us that's the reality but can strive to do your best which is what Tenshinhan does. He's a true hero.
he fricked up Cell and could've killed him, even if he died trying.
based.
Because they actually watched Dragon Ball and not just Z.
Tien was fricking butthole in the original series and got away with everything.
this is literally the one actual bad thing Tien does and he is sorry for it at the end of the tournament.
Like all of Goku's friends were once enemies or jerks to him.
LOL the one? How about that time he thought he had Goku killed because he knew his secret with that purple boar?
He actually tried to kill Goku and was pretty sure he did.
anime filler.
Good ol purple boar... Toriyama you've outdone yourself again
Vegeta tried to blow up earth just to defeat Goku, and then sold his soul to Babidi to get stronger allowing Buu to be awakened
Bejita is a piece of shit but at least he also helps saving the Earth. Unlike Tien
Vegeta makes things worse before they get better.
>Told everyone he'd kill everyone if they use the Dragon Balls to locate Gero
>Assisted Cell in absorbing 18 by attacking Trunks
>Attacked Cell when Trunks died but failed, and Gohan had to sacrifice an arm to save Vegeta
>Got butthurt Goku was still stronger than him after 7 years, willingly lets himself get possessed, and fights Goku which unleashes Majin Buu
>Knocks out Goku to take care of Buu himself instead of teaming up with him
>Crushes the potara earrings while inside Buu
>Instead of having Gotenks and Gohan curbstomp Kid Buu, he makes Goku make Spirit Bomb because he wants the Earthlings to be useful
Attacks that give you extra firepower and trade your health for it are always cool
Its why Kaioken is so much better than Super Sayan
Wasted potential. He was the 2nd to last relevant non-Saiyan fighter behind only Piccolo. I wish him and Chiaotzu didn't immediately frick off after being revived by the Namekian Dragon Balls.
Because of some video essay
Plauge of SHIT is a homosexual.
yamcha got cucked, and never recovered
Tien was cool, and never dropped the ball.
It's actually impressive that just a human held Cell against the corner.
His kikosho is sleeper stronger than kamehameha and it's ridiculous that goku hasn't stolen it yet. or any other more amoral Z fighter for the matter.
I guess you could say they dropped the ball with his super design, because it's less cool.
hot damn, tien is sexy.

ultimate gohan is typically his own character and not a transformation
Wouldn't it simply make more sense to make him a transformation? Great Saiyaman for example was considered a different form of transformation in BT2 and BT3.

But there's no chance Ultimate Gohan isn't in

>General Blue leaked
PROOF NOW!
https://twitter.com/Yab0iPride/status/1687937927521730560
That's Sonny Strait, dub actor for Krillin and Bardock. He mentions three characters and of all of the characters he regularly voices in Dragon Ball besides those two, General Blue is the only who would be in a game like this.
Now he may not be talking about Sparking Zero (though that seems fairly likely as the timeline matches up) and he may not be talking about General Blue but the odds seem good.
That's big, if General Blue is in, we can assume all the major players from OG will be in too.
OG being in should have been somewhat of a given considering we saw Kid Goku.
>General Blue
>Tao Pai Pai
>Tamborine
>Piccolo Daimao
>Kid Goku and Kid Chichi
>Eighter
Bluebros, we are so back
Kek, I wonder how normalgays will seethe over this character.
I can't believe I'm not the only person excited for General Blue
how does Ganker feel about vegeta evo being a kaioken powerup?
Evolution Bejita is just Super Saiyan grade 2 but Blue.
Makes sense, he doesn't have enough animated moves to make him different from regular SSB Vegeta. Having it being an actual numerical power up is cool.
as long as both of the moves he used are in it's fine.
It is lame as frick, it doesn't even look like SSBE at all which is egregious (even more insulting with the fact that the actual SSBE bulky form is in the cover art)
All these morons that are saying that " it doesn't matter he's not in, he did nothing in the series" are fricking speedwatchers, Super Vegeta did FAR less than SSBE and he's in
I hate SSBE, so good
I hope they put him in as an homage and make him OP as frick
>ultimate attack is the opponent being erased because Toriyama forgot about the character
HAHAHA
Where does he go?
>Hair isn't Green
ZROLY?
That’s just Super Saiyan Broly anon you can still see his scar.
...I'm too used to Nuly being depicted with green hair to see that.
Nuly having green hair was dumb to begin with.
>Maybe Lunch will come back
They will put Yurin in before WHOnch.
Zly was supposed to be yellow hair too but games kept with green.
This roster is missing a 3rd Kefla, SS2 Teen Gohan, SS Gohan, SS2 Gohan, Golden Frieza, and Full Power Frieza (Z); also character placement is all over the place.
They added General Blue but not King Piccolo or Tao Pai Pai?
Where are his nipples?
More like sparking zero interest
Holy shit was that JP MP stream boring as frick
Peak.
The hair can still be improved. They nailed down better in BT3. Still maining my boy.
Is the shin kikoho still a one shot? This game seems to have a higher damage to health ratio so maybe my fuarking hero tien can 1 shot 90% of the roster.
In the gameplay stream it seems to be a single hit.
Pretty sure that's because the player doesn't know it's a multi-input ult. That's how it was in the old games.
>Pretty sure that's because the player doesn't know it's a multi-input ult. That's how it was in the old games.
Maybe I missed the input screen for it but to what I saw there wasn't any indication of him being able to shoot it more.
The only input for supers and ults are boost. Though if I remember correctly, the input for spamming it usually appears AFTER pressing boost.
He about to use a Spirit Bomb?
unironically less frightening pov than kikoho
Our beloved role model.
I always get hyped whenever I see Tenshinhan it brightness my day.
How many slots do we have left? Maybe they can fit gt in after all.
PISS tour is going to be DLC.
>spics imagine the dumbest fricking shit ever
>it'll all become """"canon"""" thanks to custom mode
I will never understand the appeal of this.
>Custom mode
Why wasn't this an XV2 feature? It makes so much sense when you think about it.
>I will never understand the appeal of this.
All I can really assume is Gohan is their O'Brien and Gohan Must Suffer
>Why wasn't this an XV2 feature? It makes so much sense when you think about it.
I'm pretty sure they even tried doing that with that timeline campaign thing they added around the time they introduced Fu but it was pretty limp. Maybe they believe it'll do better service in this game that's more singleplayer focused so you can just frick around as much as you please
No Gohan is their self insert and they need him to be powered up stronger than everyone otherwise the suicidal thoughts come back.
I don't know why anyone would consider Gohan a self-insert, personally I'd be fricking pissed if he was the person who was supposed to be [Literally Me]
>The western fandom is arguably just as worse as spics.
So the western fandom is worse than... the western fandom? Huh?
Eva use they were kids when the Cell Games were airing, that’s the whole reason.
DBZspics absolutely despise Pan because they think she's too cute and made GT not cool/harecore enough.
>GTgay calling anyone a spic
Ironic.
Who the frick told you that?
Everyone hates her because she did nothing but cause unnecessary trouble.
>mistaking Abridged/Dub secondaries to actual Z fans
Shameful moron.
Everyone hates Pan because she's a c**t.
She's a tsundere, and she warms up a lot over the series.
Pan in GT never stops being an annoying piece of shit and in Super she's a total afterthought like every other female character other than 18.
She only annoying if your only exposure to anime is DBZ shoutan fightan. She has e-girlcon appeal and was hated for the same reason Gohan was after Goku died in the Raditz fight
>s/he is just so little kids can have a character to relate to, this is supposed to be a SERIOUS story about adults and blood!
I don't give a shit about e-girl appeal because I'm not a pedophile.
I don't think you understand how canon works.
Japs can make good vidya, but good god they suck at writing.
Give the japs some respect you dork loser, the worst Jap writing is still in another league compared to western writing. Their worst writing is better than the "Best" writing for western authors.
Damn, how about you take that jap wiener out of your mouth for a second?
You're the one with jap wiener in your mouth since you're seething about them. Jap wiener is so far down your mouth its coming out of your ass
They're only irrelevant to Gokus story, they all live happy and fulfilling lives and have completed character arcs.
>but they need to be Universe busters too!
Why? Especially when they can introduce new characters that actually have a reason to keep up with Goku.
Opinions on unlockable custom moves (despite sticking with a BT3-style roster)?
Great idea it's nice to get some of the best of both worlds of Raging blasts and Tenkaichi.
You first homosexual.
This is a Dragon Ball thread, no one cares about your Ganker bullshit.
>This is a Dragon Ball thread
And? What does that have to do with Amerimutts being moronic fans?
Nevermind I expected too much when I assumed you were Ganker
hopefully it works similar to evolution z from bt2
Did BT3 have custom moves? I thought it was just stat buff items.
BT3 was also stat buffs.
it was just stat buff items
raging blast had custom moves
Just stat buffs. The only thing that could be changed is you could make it so non flying characters could learn to fly which training mode tells you about.
I wonder if you could get Z Broly’s moves for Super Broly or vice versa
Unlikely, Z Broly is easy DLC bait since he's so popular.
I'm really nervous about online being so big now. i don't want them nerfing some meme shit I enjoy with pals because it's OP online.
This is a party game stop caring about balancing.
>This is a party game
No it isn't
It's just a bad arena fighter like 99% of bamco games
They explicitly said that balancing was NOT a priority. Though, ranked online is going to be like DP battles from BT3.
They already said it's going to be unbalanced, at most they will fix some near exploit shit like a unblockable ko combo.
Reminder if there's no Cui or Appule it's shit.
>Not /ourguy/ Freeza Soldier
With the dickhead skin.
they don't stand a ghost of a chance. You will get their Super equivalent.
Which way, RB controls or BT controls?
Classic.
Keyboard
I thought Ascend/Descent would be on the triggers for Classic (only played BT3 with a Gamecube Controller)
It's pretty much identical to the PS2 controls, only difference being Ki Blast being moved to L1, and Revenge Counter replacing Lock-On since it seems that locking onto characters might be automatic now.
For me it's blue Tien.
His best outfit.
Sick
It's weird he got such a fricking ENTER then gets BTFO right away
He helped out in the last second and his efforts weren't wasted that's all that matters to me. Still my favorite scene of his to this day.
>2's story mode is weird boardgame
I enjoy how different they made the story. In the Japanese release of the game they got stage 10 whereas in EU and US there were only 9 stages.
Here it is.
The Tri-Beam kicks above its user's weight class. It was fricking insane at the time of its introduction, and the fact that it lets Tien immobilize Super Buu for some time only goes to show how busted it actually is.
How is this shit only in B3?
All the Budokai games including IW.
BULMA ADVENTURE
>Daima Bulma
Simply imagine the cheek of that brat
Same as Bulma in the original series?
>Same as Bulma in the original series?
The fact that you even said this just proves that you GTgays haven't watched anything other than GT.
Projection.
Are you going to argue that he didn't have plot relevance when he foiled the plot?
>she didn't explicitly word-for-word say "you can meet strong fighters", so nyeh
Bulma vs Pan and their contribution to the plot.
Same deal with these
>He then fights Yamcha because Oolong calls him bad. Then Monster Carrot's crew because Bulma called them bad.
Gohan was always the Deus ex Machina random/lazy power up
>suddenly becomes stronger than everyone and headbutts raditz
>suddenly reflects the spirit bomb back at vegeta
>suddenly transforms into SS2 AND can still beat Cell after he reaches the same level despite being stronger than Gohan before he transformed
>elder Kai ritual boost
>sudden beast transformation
Gohan is the Deus ex Machina of dragonball he doesn't really need to exist in the story since the important fights never belonged to him, he just jumped in at the end.
>In the first saga.
Which is all he needs to have major plot relevance.
>Again, we're talking about BULMA. Not Oolong.
We're talking about both of them. You are legitimately confused here anon, no wonder you had to make so much headcanon to make sense of dragonball.
Same as Bulma, see
>Bulma indirectly being responsible for the creation of a main villain is a mark against her, not for her.
Not gathering them and dealing with them would have ultimately resulted in the same thing, dragonballs travelling across the universe destroying planets wherever they go.
>even without Bulma the Pilaf gang would've found him anyway
Remember, you're the one trying to argue about Bulma's value to the story. Not me.
I mean, other than 18 Bulma is probably the most relevant female in the story due to her insane fortune and her inventions, next to her Chichi and Videl are just glorified walkin incubators.
>Thanks for exposing the fact everything you posted is pure projection.
One, that's not what projection means
Two, you've just shown to everyone here that you're functionally illiterate and that a simple story like dragonball was too complex for you to understand.
I suggest you just leave before you embarrass yourself further.
>She did nothing against the mutants
Other than fight her way through an entire tower of them.
>no one said they weren't dancing
You using "she was just dancing" as a dismissal of her during that fight was you saying that.
>that wasn't steelmanning
Definitionally it was. I was picking the absolute worst fights she was in to give your argument as much strength as possible.
>how is that her fault
Because she chose to do it. Like I said, whether it was justified or not she voluntarily chose to separate herself from her bodyguard in a world where dragons and dinosaurs canonically exist.
>no you can't
You asked for it.
Chapter 5, flirts with Oolong and pisses him off
Chapter 8-onwards, simping for Yamcha even though he tries to kill the crew
Chapter 11, constant shouting attracts the Ox King
Chapter 16, instigates a confrontation with the rabbit gang
Chapter 17, gets herself turned into a carrot by being a b***h
Chapter 19, acts like a brat and pisses off Pilaf
That's just in the Pilaf Saga.
>page that proved me right
Awful gaslight. She explicitly says Goku will get stronger if he adventures with her, to which he agrees and goes. Open and shut.
>Other than fight her way through an entire tower of them
Are you talking about when she was separated from Goku and Trunks because that's when this part
>Pan didn't do anything to the machine mutants other than run, hide
>I think she basically just scorched one basic machine mutant in that arc and that was it.
>Because she chose to do it
Anon, you can't choose when you have to urinate or being kidnapped. Pan on the other hand made the conscious choice of kicking the ship and starting it before it was ready.
They're not comparable.
And, as I named in the rest of my post (which you dodged), she does it a dozen times more and continues to do so even into Z.
>he was simply patrolling
And a screeching moron caught his attention. He absolutely tried to kill them, he threw an axe at her and missed. He was going to kill her until she and Oolong talked him down by mentioning Roshi.
The Rabbit mob tried to hold her up because she got snippy with them.
She slapped his hand away which she didn't need to do.
>She didn't say they scattered
Game set match, thanks for playing. Don't have to go home but you can't stay here. Don't let the door hit you on the way out. Yaddayadda
>Afterwards she blasts through those 'elite' ones and makes her way up to the top and obliterates a dozen more trying to get to Giru.
She goes behind a bush that's actually pretty close to the road.
>she does it a dozen times more and continues to do so even into Z.
No, no she doesn't.
And by "dodged" I hope you mean answered because that's right here
>And a screeching moron caught his attention.
>She slapped his hand away which she didn't need to do
>Even then that's still on boss rabbit because he was antagonising her.
It's clearly beyond your understanding.
>old viz translation
She spends half the episode fighting and getting expelled from the room by weird liquid walls she couldn't fight against. Every time she had to fight through multiple machines to get there.
>it wasn't THAT far away
It was, and irrelevant regardless. She willingly walked off alone, end of.
>no she doesn't, I countered...
I responded to that here
>she did nothing wrong
She bought a flirty outfit explicitly to look cute despite being aware that "there are no pretty girls here, guess I'm the hottest" or whatever she says. Obviously Muslim-inspired area with all the women in burkhas, and she still chose to bawd it up for attention. Her fault.
>Nb4 "victim blaming"
>you have no argument for this
Yeah, don't touch him. Just say "I won't shake your hand" and that's that. She slapped his hand to disrespect him, which wasn't necessary. This isn't even acknowledging that Yamcha yelled for her to not touch him before she even reaches out. Even if we argue she didn't hear him, she still didn't need to slap his hand. It was an action she chose, which put Goku in a position where he needed to defend her. End of.
>she didn't say the ball scattered
>w..well she did, but she didn't say immediately
This is why I'm laughing at you. This is what the entire discussion has been like with you, every single counter I make to your claim you concede and shift to defending a different hill. All the while trying to gaslight yourself that you're not getting humiliated.
>unironically defending ViZ
>She bought a flirty outfit
Wait hold the fricking phone, NTA but are you calling this aladdin tier outfit "flirty"?
>there are no pretty girls here, guess I'm the hottest"
Wut, she mentions how even the men are running from her like they've never seen a pretty girl. You Mexicans got fricking shafted if your version is this different.
>This isn't even acknowledging that Yamcha yelled for her to not touch him before she even reaches out.
Black person, Yamcha was spying on them from several houses away.
Have you, ever actually fricking read this series?
>She spends half the episode fighting and getting expelled from the room by weird liquid walls she couldn't fight against. Every time she had to fight through multiple machines to get there.
I don't know what version of GT you watched but it was definitely not the same one we watched.
It sounds like he's talking about episode 20 but pan fought one wave of like 7 grunts with one of them just jumping off presumably to their death so she didn't, even clear the wave
>Instead of killing them right away they left it at chance and fricked it all up
Damn, Freeza could have had it so easy until Babidi did his play.
Not to mention Bulma is also the reason Oolong was leashed due to the noise sensitive laxative she gave him
>At least Pan can fight.
GT isn't canon
The point isn't that GT is canon, the point is that GT is and forever will be objectively trash.
>the point is that GT is and forever will be objectively trash
Pretty much this, it says a lot when children back in the day couldn't stomach that garbage.
Super isn't any better yet its all over the place
>B-But other thing!
>yet its all over the place
One, who gives a shit about Super? The topic is GT
Roshi's speech about the Dragon Balls actually being benifical as they made all of them come together is meaningless, Piccolo also had the most moronic death of them all and now he is forever stuck in hell.
He wasn't forever stuck in Hell. Goku told him he was going to get him out of there.
you mean GT? Piccollo decided to stay in hell as penance because because he created both the original and the black star balls. (yet another hammering of 'the dragonballs are evil and should have NEVER existed at all' message from GT)
Which is funny because Goku straight up says THANK YOU DRAGON BALLS before defeating Buu.
You can very much tell it was written by people who weren't Toriyama.
Yes, GT. Goku told him that at the end of the series. You even see dragon sparkles when they shook hands meaning that was actually going to happen.
>Piccollo decided to stay in hell as penance because because he created both the original and the black star balls.
What the frick are you even talking about? He was absolutely content with staying in heaven but the problem was that the poorly thought out plot and inconsistent rules of GT required him to be transferred to hell to open up a gateway to earth as if Goku couldn't just IT out.
>He wasn't forever stuck in Hell. Goku told him he was going to get him out of there.
Never happened.
Grand turd's fights was just contant ki spam.
>Grand turd's fights was just contant ki spam
Don't make me post those embarrassing fights from Super.
>Don't make me post those embarrassing fights from Super
Don't bother I'll do it for you.
This is considered the worst fight in Super.
You posted the remastered ending of the fight, not the fight itself.
>nice shading and poses
>some fight choreography even if its a bit slow
>obvious smear frames morons always point out in screenshots out of context because they dont know shit about animation
vs
>a slide show
and yet super is supposed to be le bad!
Was that animated in flash? Holy shit tgat looks terrible
This is considered the worst fight in GT.
Do you notice what's wrong with GT?
I hate how BIG character's chins were in that shit show.
This is the goriest scene in Shitper. Do you notice something wrong with Super?
Hmm is it that Gohan is actually being hit and there's visible damage to his clothes? That's something that didn't really happen in GT.
That was it for those characters. It's what I mean when I say this series had motherfricker STAKES.
Vegeta couldn't transform into SSJ4 and Goku was completely worn out.
None of that turning Super Saiyan blue, white or purple because you felt a tingle in your prostate.
>Presumably
Fancy word for headcanon. They had no control over the dark balls.
Also nice WebM. What arc is that, the one where a parasite took over the whole planet? W-what's that, stakes? Super sure could sue some of that.
Omega CHADron was a better villain than anyone from Super solely because the stakes were actually real.
Are you into humiliation rituals??
it's sad how anti-gt gays always lie so easily
You literally had to post the same scene twice to show that GT had blood. What next, are you going to show the one other instance when Goku was fighting Baby and continue to prove the other anon right?
>Two sub Imperfect Cell tier character became strong enought to frick up a Super Saiyan 4
Meanwhile in Super
Called it.
t-that doesn't c-c-count!
>strongest character overpowering a weaker character
What's the problem?
Watch them deflect to Super instead of giving an answer to this shitty writing.
It gets worse. SS1 Goku did better against Super 17 than Uub did, even though Uub should be way stronger than any Goku besides SS4 Goku.
The worst offender was Base Goku being able to kill a much stronger Super 17 even though SS4 jobbed a few moments prior kek.
Because that was clearly just about power am i right
The true worst offender was super 17 being 100% defenceless while absorbing energy despite the fact that Gero and 19 never had that issue.
Kek, GT gets dumber and dumber the more you think about it's moronic writing.
I would say it’s Goku blowing himself up to try and kill Super 17, but then they both survive Goku self destructing because 17 made a barrier.
Super did NOT have better fights than tbe entirety of GT, you're nuts.
GT actually had stakes, Super was a vegan house.
>GT actually had stakes, Super was a vegan house.
Stakes? Good fights have nothing to do with stakes you idiot, it's about animation and half the time in GT they didn't even punch people directly and buildings and terrain were just tweened to show them falling over.
Can you even post a single good looking fight in GT?
>Good fights have nothing to do with stakes
the entire ToP being trash, and having no purpose, absolutely does nullify any good it might have had.
And on top of that, the characters had infinite stamina, nothing made sense in that garbage arc.
super is also fricking shit except for the last 1/2 of the last arc
Super has good arcs, at least. Goku Black, Tournament of Power, and Super Hero are all good.
MY
FUARKING
HERO
>GTards forgot GT was always DLCslop
Pay up piggies.
>GTards forgot GT was always DLCslop
true, I remember having to buy the GT dlc in the first 3 tenkaichi games
I mean, to be fair it's not like they ever gave a shit about GT, it always fekt tacked on like dlc
>What about old thing!
Doesn't matter.
GT has been pushed as DLC content since DBH and Xenoverse.
>All Giants sucked except Great Ape Baby Vegeta for some reason
Hmm.
Wasn't Hildegarn top tier in Tenkaichi 3?
Toriyama was a secret character in Tobal.
You think Giant Bergamo, Giant Ribrianne, Anilaza, and Cell Max will be fun?
What's the canonical reason for shitters like Tien going head to head with super sayains
He is just that guy.
There is no canonical reason because they can't.
game looks like total shit compared to the reveal lmfao. slop.
Pan? A hero in these Halls.
Tien is a god damn role model
is she in?
Am I the only one who was bothered by Goku not remembering her?
Yes because it was a bit and he eventually does.
goku gets bonked on the head a lot
she does remember later, and even if he didn't I wouldn't be surprised, same happened with Chichi when they reunited after the time skip
>who's this peanuts lookin ass homie
Arale from Dr.Slump, one of Toriyama's works that predate Dragonball
i hope she is. they put so much SOUL into mr satan so i dont see why they would exclude arale especially since she reappeared twice in super
will there be a demo at gamescom?
Maybe, when's Gamescom?
21-25 August
A lot earlier than I expected
Does going Super Saiyan make you better at video games?
Yes.
Budokai 3 and Infinite world.
probably but only by heightening your senses
>Bulma nursing behind Yamcha
>YABBA DABBA DOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
>Yamcha about to ABORT that child
Bio Broly when?
which budokai game should I emulate? I havent played any of them since they came out
1 and 3, 2's story mode is weird boardgame
Are you gonna spend the extra dosh to get Powerpole Goku?
i just might since it kinda deconfirms any chance of 23rd wt goku. i know i sound moronic or brown or whatever but i wouldve liked one more goku we havent gotten. couldve used him to cover the garlic jr movie and the raditz fight tbh
>know i sound moronic or brown or whatever but i wouldve liked one more goku we havent gotten
Dude it's the main character this isn't anything absurd to ask at all remember base Goku from Fighterz?
yeah i remember people complaining that the model was in the game but then sold as dlc. but you know what you’re right. im just too used to hostility over opinions on 4chins
Powerpole Goku isn't a separate character slot, it's Goku (Super) with a Powerpole costume and super attack.
i know
If it helps, maybe Goku (Early) could get an unlockable 23rd Budokai costume and Meteor Combination? Seems like it could be likely.
>Tenshinhan's arm gets taken off
>He yells in pain but then gets right back to fighting when Chaiozu is in danger (then he dies)
>Bejita's arm is broken
>He screams and cries and can no longer fight
Damn, he really does coast on his Power Level and lacks the vital warrior spirit.
>Tenshinhan's arm gets taken off
it'll grow back
I love the three eyed cowboy.
>Sparking Zero
Yeah man.
It's a shame Goku got TRICKED into marrying Chi-Chi
SHITno lost and she gets plapped by Eighter every night.
i always thought she was a better fit and would probably have raised stronger children since suno never left jingle village so goku and gohan would have lived hardier lives there than with chichi.
most humans couldnt touch her and the ones who could would get wrecked by ox king outside of the main cast. whats the issue?
Modern JP doesn't have the guts to put her in the game
>Ox King thought letting his 12 year old dress like this was a good thing
well it did get her married to the strongest guy on earth so maybe he was on to something
It gets lonely on fire mountain, and she was the only girl around...
>Dragon Quest 3 was released around the time DB started
Anon, Dragon Ball started in 1984. Not even Dragon Quest 1 started development.
well... now i feel stupid, i did remembered someone mentioning that during the storytime we had on Ganker. so i apologize.
>i did remembered someone mentioning that during the storytime we had on Ganker. so i apologize.
I think that person mentioned Ultraman.
>The Tiengay is a mentally ill moecrap and BBC poster.
Do people still think I post on /DBS/? Holy SHIT and can someone finally explain this "Tien BBC" meme to me?
"BBC" is a plague on the entire site. It's interracial porn of black men and white women.
>"BBC" is a plague on the entire site. It's interracial porn of black men and white women.
I know and it's on par with scat with how disgusting it is.
Yes. The fact is that a Tienposter there posted this shit once.
the Ultraman/Ultra Seven thing is definitely true. Chichi does even the exact same poses when using the weapons.
>"i never went to a beach"
Chi Chi, even as a 12 year old, was one of the top 50 strongest people on Earth at the time.
What was going through Toriyamas head when he made this? Who is this for?
then can we at least get 18 year old ChiChi instead?
I like how Super DBZ made her a playable character.
>Doesn't deny it
HAHAHA!
just a copy of this chi chi would be enough for me. i like e-girls but i prefer adult chi chi
Deny what? You're wrong. You know what GT had too? Blood. Super (shit) was a show for babies.
I like the idea that Goku gave her the power pole and nimbus after he couldn't use them anymore.
Dokkan and Dragon Ball SD say otherwise.
Gacha doesn't count, they have different rules, and I don't know much about SD, is it a remake?
>is it a remake?
Basically. It's a (more) comedic retelling of the entire series, full of meta jokes, characters showing up outside of their era, etc.
That dinosaur tanked that
it's fricking dead
>tfw never ever
I'm sure he moveset would be fun, but how would they get around the whole being blind thing?
Just have him sniff before he performs any special attack
No lock on
>becomes extremely popular with tryhards
Sonicfox would be more of a Bergamo guy
Are GTgays the Sequelgays of Dragon Ball?
>One of the U2 male fighters is a Tuffle
Weird
You mean the Yardrat?
No, one of the guys who transform the old guy or the big strong one. Probably the old guy.
Zarbuto, the guy in the red suit and white helmet.
GTchads are we eating good?
The fact the Ganker jannies literally ALLOWS a REAL CP POSTER to go free in that board is absurd. That moron is posting that Bleach troony 24/7 every single day in many threads. He sometimes loses his mind and posts the most disgusting things too, including REAL CP, yet nothing happens to him at all.
Ganker is probably one of the worst boards.
Do mods knows about a literal CP poster going rampant in that board? Because nothing is being done about it.
They post e-girl shit to try and make people avoid the threads, but by calling it "real cp" you're making it sound like literal, actual, humans, not just drawn images.
>but by calling it "real cp" you're making it sound like literal, actual, humans
Because it was literally REAL CP, with real humans.
>isn't the B also gone?
He was also a moeshit spammer and I doubt he left.
>He was also a moeshit spammer
Hello Spainard.
He literally allowed moeshitters in his streams.
They got banned when we watched Evolution SpainBITCH.
So it seems he allowed them to go in TWICE. Thanks for let me know more.
I am not that degenerate btw. Die every single one of you moeshitters that seems to come from Europe to ruin the halls.
>Belgian moeshitter
>Bulgarian SHITrentard moeshitter janny
>British troony spammer pedophile
>Spanitard degenerate
>and that Tiengay BBCposter seems to be from there too
>Bulgarian SHITrentard
Wasn't he from America?
Some fella from Ganker revealed that guy used to be there on the NBA threads. Same way of posting and all. Then he let escape that he was from Bulgaria once and started to use VPN to change his flag.
You can literally get banned on Ganker for keep bringing the fact that he is from Bulgaria.
He has been deleting new threads to force Jiren threads too. He never targets moeshitters however.
HAHAHAHAHA
See
The halls are very dead. Few people wants to talk about Dragon Ball. The rest are literally raiders trying to level that place down with offtopic spam and posting schizo copy pastas all day.
Why not just stop posting then? No need to waste time dealing with litreal filth.
I've been posting less and less. Old habits dies hard. Basically I've been going one or two times per week now to see if I laugh at some new jokes.
I would strongly recommend giving it up nowadays I have been trying to learn how to draw although I have been quite lazy this week.
He stopped posting as much when that was revealed.
What posters DO you like?
>Because it was
Oh, I didn't see that. A lot of people in /dbs/ call the 2D stuff cp.
I can't wrap my mind around the idea posting in /DBS/ after Toriyama passed away isn't the B also gone?
>The fact is that a Tienposter there posted this shit once
So just because some moron posted blacked shit that somehow means every Tenbro loves Blackedshit? Man people have lost their meme magic.
>Z soldiers
Who are they at war with?
>Who are they at war with?
Moeshitters.
That joke doesn't work when you're cross boarding on Ganker.
>Tien treats Chiaotsu like a son
Chiaotsu is only 5 years younger than Tien, and was 15 during the 22nd Budokai when he was introduced. I think he's the same age as Goku
I mean Puar is not that much younger than Goku but he still gets treated like a kid by Yamcha.
Difference is Puar is a catmonster. Chiaotzu is presumably just a midge like Krillin.
Chaozu is a chinese vampire.
He's visually based on a jiangshi but in-universe he's just a guy. He's a bit dumb, loyal to Tien, and likes to play pranks (at first), that's about the extent of his character.
Isn't Chiaotzu like a chinese hopping vampire or something?
El_Robot was also Crocsren
How many of the regular posters are left right now?
I still post but it's not the same...
But does the game has SOUL?
Battle of Z had Goku dress as Sage Naruto. I would not be surprised if they give Goku an outfit where he's wearing Luffy's Post Time Skip clothes.
I really like the Androids saga because it got a spotlight for every Z Fighters. Even for Yamcha, in a way.
All the Z fighters flying to help Gohan was the coolest thing ever man.
That's because you watched the original anime run as a kid which had multiple arcs between each of the canon arcs.
Why'd they decide to use the Japanese subtitle for this iteration? Are they trying to convince international audiences it's a new game, and not a scam?
Dub is slowly getting removed from anime.
I'll wait with buying until the movie characters are announced.
We should just recognize and accept the fact GT had cool ideas, but executed them horribly, and enjoy that ideas being done reasonably well elsewhere (the games LOVE using GT stuff anyway)
GT is insanely popular, the only reason that it is relegated to DLC nowadays is that all of GT's DLC's are top sellers.
Namekians are all male so I don't think Piccolo would change at all.
Technically genderless. No junk at all. They just look male to humans, and use masculine pronouns for convenience/Toriyama isn't some troony-pandering xegendergay.
I thought Toriyama said Piccolo was a hermaphrodite?
Biologically speaking parthenogenesis is not a hermaphroditic trait. You could argue that Namekians should technically be all female but Toriyama specifically has Dende shut down the notion when Bulma brings it up.
They reproduce asexually by producing eggs out of their mouths. King Piccolo does it to produce
Piano, Tambourine, Drum and Piccolo Jr. and is established to have done so with many more by the Turtle Hermit. There has never been a retroactive explanation for why King Piccolo's Demon Clan were so different from normal Namekians. Evil energy, presumably.
In Sparking Zero, Whis has a what-if where he trains Goten and Trunks.
>Earth

>The Panbot is here talking to himself too
How long has he been at it three years now?
Tien FRICKED and CURED this dyke btw.
Tien wouldn't cheat on Makoto.
Super blows
...GT out of the water.
Super's art has no soul and the new form is literally just a shitty fricking recolor, blue is moronic Black folkpic fanfiction, SS4 looks kino.
The face models in this game are not very good.
I think one problem of this game is the FOV. It seems to be too big.
There's nothing wrong with the faces. The noses are just huge for some reason
At least it isn't Xenoverse tier models.
I can't wait for the guy who made pic related to work on SZ.
That's pretty good but imagine having to do multiple characters that would take a shit load of time.
What the frick is wrong with his forehead line
The line is very prominent where it should be really thin.
what game? or mod

for what game?
Xenoverse 2
Goddamn why does Gohan have such loose pecs
Who wins, Tien or Krillin?
No bullshit, 100% serious death battle. I'm talking about their tournament of power versions, respectively.
Tribeam attack or whatever it is negates all power level differences and theoretically could even stop Beerus dead in his tracks. But Tien can't just use it casually. If Tien could get one off on Krillin, he'd win. Otherwise Krillin would win.
Can someone tell me the order I'm supposed to watch the anime in, movies included? I watched DB and currently watching DBZ, Gohan just killed Cell.
DB > Z > Battle of Gods > Rof > super > super broly > superhero
Skip the first two arcs of Super for the movies
Saving, thanks
DB > DBZ > DBS [canon]
DB MOVIES > DBZ MOVIES > DBS MOVIES [varied canon] [BoG, RoF, DBS:B, DBS:SH considered canon]
GT [optional]
GT special [optional]
Dragon Ball Super Heroes/ Super Dragon Ball Heroes [non-canon, advertisement anime to sell cards]
Dragon Ball Evolution [hollywood slop]
>Dragonball Evolution [mandatory]
Sorry, I do not find irony funny.
>movies included?
you're better off looking up a guide based off japan release/air dates, there's more than a dozen movies
Don't reply to the troony poster.
So is Yamcha not gonna be voiced by the same japanese VA?
Just killed the Tiengay in another thread btw.
?
There should be a shonen board on this site.
Saying "shonen" because One Piece, JJK, and so on, also behave like massive morons as well.
All these people need to take their sexual frustration to a larger board. 500 limit post threads aren't made to contain so many morons rushing to the bump limit.
job and jobber
BEAST and BEAST.
In a way, it's good that Toriyama is gone so the people working on DB can make the non-Saiyan characters relevant again. Maybe Lunch will come back.
>In a way, it's good that Toriyama is gone so the people working on DB can make the non-Saiyan characters relevant again.
the last major thing toriyama did for was write a piccolo movie, that other people molded into a gohan (saiyan) movie
other people being in creative control won't stop dragon ball being focused on saiyans, if anything it will only increase the focus on saiyans
did for DB*
>the last major thing toriyama did for was write a piccolo movie, that other people molded into a gohan (saiyan) movie
YABBA...
Fricking KEK.
I love to browse the archive and write Yabba from time to time found this one.
Yabba Dabba Doo posting is the greatest thing that came from the halls. Everytime it's fricking hilarious.
Yup.
Honestly I think the Scholar meme is the best, it's caused hundreds of esls to learn how to write.
Unfortunately they still can't read.
>The scholar meme
Can i get an example?
I cachinnate vociferously
I think he meant an example of the meme. I haven't seen it myself either.
rtfp tourist
They created a culture within the threads where if you make even a slight spelling error your point it moot, and you are mocked by everybody.
Considering how DB threads is guaranteed full of ESLs, I vote to bring this back.
Dude, you're in a thread where a guy btfo'd himself because he can't read. That's not going to work here.
Where's that one? I must've missed it.
This dude
He didn't realise that the third panel was internal dialogue so he thought Bulma told Goku the balls scatter after a wish
It's kind of sad how hispanics put themselves even if they know the language. I mean, even if you find a translation where it looks like Bulma told Goku this page wouldn't make any sense at all
Goku's just stupid and thought the Four Star Ball would stay because he has sentimental attachment to it. Remember, he is a pretty young kid here.
Don't double down anon. Goku literally never knew that they would fly off.
It still exists, go in to the /dbs/ thread on Ganker, say something semi on topic but misspell a certain word on purpose, see the reponse.
Agreed. Thanks to the Gohanbros. The ToP era was awesome.
>gohanbros
Kek, they did nothing. They hit on a troony and LARP'd as Christians.
The ones confirmed being allied to a literal troony are the Bejitagays and that Jirenjanny moron from Bulgaria.
It was actually Jirenponies that started it. cuckgang started blanco posting which was another success.
>cuckgang started blanco posting
I don't remember this. I thought the Gohanbros came with it because of "angel ki".
Is buff Roshi a transformation? Roshi is my main.
If it's like other Tenkaichi games then yes, it will be.
it is
