Guild Wars 1 finally went on sale. I've had that in my wishlist for ages, picked it up for $7.50
Also picked up Dread Delusion to sit in my library until it comes out of EA
Well I mean, is it like WoW where I'm just pressing a bunch of keys and looking at shit happen or is it more actiony like ESO not the best example but you get it? idk yeah maybe you're right
Well, it has tab targeting and it has skills.
the skills are usually on low cooldowns and are pretty much fundamental to how you play most classes.
but it gets crazy from there
for instance, a lot of classes have interrupts. a cool thing about guild wars is that the enemies (for the most part) have access to the same pool of skills that you do. with interrupts, you can cancel their skill uses tactically (this is also fundamental in pvp).
when you're playing it, you'll most likely be alone for the most part. but you have access to henchmen (npcs with fixed levels and skills, available in each area) or if you have the Nightfall expansion Heroes. Heroes are customizable henchmen. You pick their skills and equip them.
the entire game plays like a strategy game (this is a broad stroke example) where you and your team use complimentary skills to win.
there really is nothing else like it in the mmo realm
I like the henchmen part. Is the overall story fun? i watch this review channel and they love GW2 expansions

>Is the overall story fun?
I think it's decent for a video game.
People rag on Nightfall's story the most but imo what happens DOES make sense, people just don't like it, so they got upset about it.

Alright, I'll buy it. I'll make some time for it this Christmas. Thanks for explaining it to me.

I will caution you about one thing.
It is a slow burner if you are alone.
Also the first game, Prophecies, levels you up WAY SLOWER.
Factions and Nightfall are lightspeed compared to Prophecies.
Your character can go to all 3 campaigns no matter which one they start with but the Prophecies campaign has a truly unique Tutorial area.
Anonymous
Is there an order you recommend doing the campaigns in or are they all standalone?
Anonymous
Each one is stand alone. Each one has skills that are exclusive to it. Factions and Nightfall have exclusive classes.
Any character can do each of the 3 campaigns and the EotN expansion. The stories change slightly based on where your character comes from.
It really depends on your own playstyle. If it's your first time it's gotta be Prophecies but I say that from an account that has all of the skills and qol unlocked. Still though, Prophecies is all we had in 2005 and it IS amazing. It's just like I said: a slow burn.

Do people still play Alliance Battles? Frick my life Alliance Battles were amazing and some of the best times of my life. Last time I checked like a decade ago it was impossible to get a game going.

99% dead, unfortunately.
There is a group on reddit (i know, i know) who has been successfully running Alliance Battles on Friday at 9 UTC.
That's usually the only time you can get an AB all week.

Oh god, that's actually really cheap. Tempting. But I'm so on the fence about paying for online only shit these days. Especially to Arenanet trannies.

Like he said, it's hard out there in third world countries. It's okay anon, lots of people still think the US is a first world country so you didn't embarrass yourself too much.
are you consuming yet?
wee! buying from VALVE COMPANY GAME STORE is so much fun, please share images of what you have paid LEGAL TENDER for in order to buy LICENSE TO GAME FROM THIS SPECIFIC COMPANY GAME STORE in this thread!

i say this
I don't get idiots like you.
How do you expect society to work if no one consumes anything?....
Do you wear clothes?
Do you eat food?
Do you use water or electricity?
Then homie you consume as well.
Unless you make your own clothes, grow and hunt your own food (with tools you made yourself) etc.
Imma be honest, the citadel is not very good. A lot of people like to shill it on here but it's a very mediocre shooter. A lot of people like to strawman and say the only reason people don't like it is because of the devs fetishes that nobody cares about.
The guns feel very good overall, and small details like the rifle discarding unused ammo in the clip and the outlaws-style revolver reload add to that.
The systems within work well to make your actions feel planned and deliberate without slowing the pace to halt, with lack of quicksaves combined with the pattern buffer, and taking damage/meandering too long lowering your max health until you eat a ration.
The level design does a lot with limited assets and enemies, the atmosphere is strong, and it even has a couple mecha levels that work surprisingly well.
Only issues I had with it were that some of the alt-fires were too strong, the faster paced bosses didn't play to the game's strengths, and ammo starts to be too abundant in the last couple acts.
What about it drags it down to mediocre in your eyes? Which fps would you put forward as achieving its goals in a better way?
he's just a gay with no taste
lots of Citadel's good points will fly over the heads of casual normies that can't even be bothered to check the difficulty options after starting the game, let alone use stuff like lean and alternate reloads, slide jumping etc
Right after the intro level in The Citadel, visit the difficulty sliders, enemy aggression changes their bullet speed btw, not just how much they move around.
It's very enjoyable as a tactical shooter.
Just want to make sure you are aware the citadel is a guro (or maybe it was just ryona I forget I haven't actually played it) fetish game, supposedly pretty good though
Pseudoregalia?
Wouldn't know, but I'm planning on getting it since I got the 'eck 'led and 6$ basically pocket change to me.
Honestly wondering if I should get Darktide and F76 while I wait for Killing Floor 3
RE6 Merc is really fun, that sale price worth it for the Merc alone. Shame about the campaign tho but the Merc mode is where the game shine the most.
Do not listen to this moron
Only Nocturne and maybe dredge but you should emulate Nocturne because they had the nerve to charge extra for Dante as if 50 bucks for a lazy PS2 port wasn't already offensive enough
Although it is shitty excuse for a “Remaster” I still prefer that version over the original for manual skill inheritance alone. Endlessly rerolling for the skills you want is mind-numbing as all hell.
not ishin i didn't like it cause its running on UE4, which makes the game look like shit, valk elysium or soul hackers 2
someone can back me up, I wanna say CE2 isn't much of an improvement either but my FuRyu loremaster level isn't high enough for that, pirate SMT3 homie, don't feed fatlus greed
Translation is okay understandable, but there are a lot of small things that are distracting. Some location names are inconsistent between the quest log and map, for example. Time is measured in whatever the frick the Chinese use and not numbers. Basically, it lacks polish. Game is still fun if you like the genre, and nothing stopping you from building a harem if that's your thing. I think there's an achievement for it.
judgment is the first game, try that first, and yeah, personally i think its a tighter experience, they got to stretch their legs after a billion years of kiryu shenanigans
They only say that because the combat is better but everything else is the same. If price is your issue then try Yakuza 0 since it's much cheaper but gets you the same if not more content.
>Is it easier than Project Diva?
lol no
It starts out easy enough on 4-button mode but past a certain point you might as well just learn an instrument. The difficulty ramps up big time
Mostly looking to pick up some obscure shit I know I will be at least somewhat interested in.
Only thing I'm not sure about is A Space for the Unbound, has anyone played it?
Get Yakuza but please play either the OG version of 1 or the splendid HD version on ps3/Wii U. Kiwami 1 took way too many liberties with its "remake" that it hurt the game. Kiwami 2 is great though.
>Does it really force you to use Uplay?
As far as I know, yes. I've skipped several deep discounts on EA games that I really wanted to play for the same reason.
Thanks to your post anon I noticed SEGA stopped discounted Yakuza 0. You can still get a good deal with the bundle assuming you play all three but no more $5 Yakuza 0 for an introduction to the series. Weirdly greedy for a large story series but alright.
how is judgement coming from kiwami 2?
trying to decide on that or the yakuza remastered trilogy but i don't know how soon i will be able to play all of those games. i want to see how much i can complete of either judgement or yakuza 3 before a bunch of other games i want to play start coming out in the next 2 months (GBVS:R in december and then UNI2, tekken 8 and infinite wealth in january)
>FFVI mobile trash
Save yourself $18 and emulate FFVI TWUE
The FFVI Remaster (not to be mistaken with the original trash mobile port) has some nice additions and can be modded in a lot of ways for a great experience.
Native 16:9 resolution, orchestra OST and 3D scenes are the best things imo.
There are also mods on nexusmods. I personally installed many to resemble more the SNES version. Also you should install Reshade and use CRT Royale to make the game look great.
Sifu isn't great. The combat depth gets hampered by bullshit. The repetitiveness can cut deeper than the worst dark souls runbacks. The trash mobs in between bosses should arguably be the more entertaining parts to refine how you'll approach milestones but they're fricking boring. The Sekiro revive mechanic makes sense but you can't use it if you want to get the true ending.
Just got Inscryption for $10, what's the Gankererdict?
Refunded after an hour. Already felt the card game grind coming on. Not my thing.
wasteland 2&3 worth buying on linux?

Disgusting cows.
>implying bookgays don't complain about buying books and then never reading them

Sounds like unironic skill issue, you wouldn't think the game is repetitive if you didn't die against mobs, shitter
Pirate it because main game story is beyond trash and while season pass 2 adds a fun mode the rest of it is nonexistent so you basically buy that mode for the price of entire pass
the frick you need to BUY it for? you won't be playing online and there's possibly a way to play multi over hamachi or something
Also take note that TVHM is completely fricking worthless because mayhem (unlocks after beating the game) sets the difficulty and all quest rewards can be reobtained from vending machines (special ones in sanctuary in 3 and any vending machine in wonderlands). Don't waste time playing it.
Against the storm. It's a roguelite city builder, so aside of the replayability from upgrading your base skill set, there's also the replayability from randomized element in each of your playthrough.
Looks pretty, music is nice, controls are smooth, but by golly does it not deserve to have this many NG+ layers. There's just way too little actual content for it to be replayable for THAT long. And it's not just scaling, there's content and the whole-ass "true ending" behind those NG+ layers.
Honestly, I wouldn't buy it unless it had AT THE VERY LEASTEST a 75% off.
When you play bayonetta make sure you actually learn to dodge offset.
I loved the game even not having bothered to figure it out first run but it's so much better if you do
Also if it's an issue to you the dev for subnautica was kind of a gay going on about how he didn't put guns in the game because guns are evil or something
Nothing I have on my wishlist that went on sale was cheap enough for me to care. What are the biggest things this year? I'm feeling like I might just skip.
need some actual fricking videogames that will run on my dual core AMD integrated graphics potato laptop from 2016. no 2d or indieshit please. i am open to any genre
thinking of buying >far cry 4, max payne, bf4 and wolfenstein the new order, cod 2007
i already have >fallout 1,2,3,4,NV >morrowind oblivion skyrim >prey+dishonored 1,2 >sleeping dogs >grim dawn, titan quest, pillars, darkest dungeon >all supergiant games >all valve shit >bioshock collection
>Devil Daggers (arena) >Monster Sanctuary (modern pokemon) >Door Kickers Action Squad (2d run and gun) >Huntdown (2d run and gun) >Brigador (mecha game) >Nine Parchments (wizards/coop) >Boneraiser Minion (top-down) >Arboria (souls clone)
Tower defence: >Orcs Must Die 3 >Ancient Planet >Rogue Tower >Sanctum 1/2
FPS Puzzle >Cyber Hook >The Turing Test
Buy these and reset your brain of terrible conditioning from outright shite games. You'll have fun in life again.
This is a list I usually advise everyone.
>Black Friday >3 books for the price of 2 >I still buy that 1 book i want
I don't understand this steamgay mentality of hoarding shit because it's "good value" i feel it's the ultimate scum to force to buy something that has little value to begin with because you perceive it as "good value"
Mighty 9 is shit, iX 2 is slightly better but still shit that completely ruins Copen/Akira, DMFD is okay at first but way too repetitive and tedious with bullshit endgame.
Both Rosenkreuzstilette games are janky but fun, especially if you like classic MegaMan. Gunvolt 3, despite all its issues, still has a really fun core mechanic (unlike iX 2).
Every time there's a steam sale I run into the same problem and end up buying nothing because of it: I just don't know shit about games released after the late 2000s. My entire steam library is just 12 games.
lmao you are all so fricking predictable, if it was really just a rich thing you wouldnt all get so seething the moment someone mentions how fricking moronic you are for spending hundreds on video games when you could save the money to do something actually productive and still play the same games
This is such a dumb take only held by immature adults and children. If you've got disposable income, it's a no brainer to support the videogames and/or businesses that you like. If you don't do that, the things that you actually approve of will be pushed out of the market and die for good, while those you dislike will rise to the top and push even more things that you enjoy out of the competition. >if you actually like vidya it's a good thing to support good devs, but only do so if it's within your financial means >if you don't like vidya your opinion is worth less than dirt on this topic
It's really that simple. Don't act like a martyr or a financial guru just because you pirate video games.
And to be clear if you don't have a disposable income and you are still buying videogames, then you're a fricking moron and probably a criminal or something.

Normal people don't steal if they can afford something, they buy the things they want. You're in the minority, even here.
You will always sound moronic when you genuinely ask why people don't pirate as if it was hard to understand. Don't try to make people who act normally seem like the terminally online weirdos.
>i would like some devs to get money so they make more games
say it again for the pirates in the back. pirating from your favorite devs certainly isn't helping them.
I used to pirate a ton as a pennyless teen and i still do from time to time (mostly AAA slop), but honestly 5€ to have a game on Steam is less hassle than looking up for a torrent.
A lot of very obscure niche shit is essentially impossible to pirate, some indies and AA jank are in perpetual patching state that makes it incredibly annoying to pirate too.
Even already released games are updated all the time. Pretty much everyday I'm getting updates for random games that have not been updated in a long time, which pirates will never see.
3 is probably the best and has the supersize units, which is great. It just got no updates because kids started screeching "MUH SPESS MEHREEN WALKS LIKE A CARTOON" and made it DOA.
Everything looks like a parody cartoon yes, everyone who has good taste agrees with that, and animations are fricking shit, and game design wise is miles better the first one with their expansions, and if you want super units you have great mods that include every titan unit imaginable for every faction.
the first one is ancient and looks like shit. It also plays kinda like shit. 2 is the worst one and that was always agreed for being too much of a departure from 1. 3 is more like 1 than 2.
>the first one is ancient and looks like shit. It also plays kinda like shit.
You are a zoomer, this means your opinion is irrelevant, i will stop replying to your moronation, moron.
I firmly believe that there are no bad RGG games
However Y3 is my least favorite. Many get filtered by combat and it's a valid complaint but it gets better once you get back the Komaki moves.
It's just that the whole plot is silly and nobody is acting reasonably, probably the most forced sequence of events of any Yakuza
Lads, what's the best >arcade racer >single player FPS >3rd person action adventure game >strategy/management/builder autism game
available on Steam right now?
>arcade racer
i had the most fun with Grid (2008) but it's delisted on steam so just pirate it >single player FPS
Amid Evil + DLC >3rd person action adventure game
Vanquish >strategy/management/builder autism game
Factorio for autismo
Homeworld remastered collection for strategy, it goes for just 3€ and it's a sweet game (get the players patch)
Anno 1404 is still king for comfy managment
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic for micromanagment hell if you're into it
I see Vanquish as more of a pure shooter and I already own it. >Amid Evil
Looks more like melee than shootan from screenshots. I will look into the autism recs.
>3rd person action adventure game
does nioh count? >strategy/management/builder autism game
amazing cultivation simulator
>does Nioh count
I don't know since I haven't played it. How much non-combat gameplay is there? Like when I think of adventure I think of something that isn't just walking from one combat encounter to another.
>How much non-combat gameplay is there?
It is mostly combat gameplay, but it's all framed as a proper adventure with a ton of lore and character stuff backing it up. Far moreso for Nioh 2 which is an exceptional hero's journey that directly ties your Mute moron MC into the narrative, but Nioh 1 still has a sprawling adventure. Like imagine a tale with a lot of timeskips, I guess.
>Homeworld remastered collection for strategy, it goes for just 3€ and it's a sweet game (get the players patch)
The remaster butchered alot of mechanics the original had
>Homeworld remastered collection for strategy, it goes for just 3€ and it's a sweet game (get the players patch)

you got this for free on epic. Along with the deserts one.
because a bunch of people wearing 5000$ suits thought >Steam has a gazillion users >Steam is making bazingas of money >If we get more users we'll get automatically more revenue gazillion/bazingas money per user
That's why their leaked metrics show a "cost per user", the plan was to buy customers.
It's like buying 100k emails to spam newsletters, except everybody knows that 1000 perople that signed up willingly to your marketing are worth a million addresses from a spam list.
i'm kinda conflicted about double dipping on games like dark souls 3 because i move between two places frequently and my PS4 is in one place and while PC in another. lack of cross save is another bummer
I've been playing Astral Ascent this week but didn't like it, too repetitive to my liking even for a roguelike imo. You go through the same biomes everytime without much variety, other than it keeps getting harder each time, spells variety is not interesting and perma upgrades don't change the game in a meaningful way.
I've not played it yet but Inscryption is universally acclaimed.
Other only one I've played is Rogue Legacy 2, which I really enjoyed. Fun to play, good classes and gameplay variety, good perma-upgrades, challenging, etc. I've played little or not at all the other ones so I can't say but they are overall a solid list.
I played the demo of al-aqsa mosque and didn't much care for it but what I didn't care for were the stealth elements so maybe the later levels that aren't stealth are fine
gothic 2 is great, 3 is good but expect and more open world and shallow experience compared to 2. Its better after the community patches which I think come with most versions.
What should I get? I've actually already pirated and played some of them, but I just keep them on my list still in case they ever get ridiculously cheap.
Right now I'm mostly considering Kerbal Space Program, Wasteland 3 (though I haven't played the previous ones), Max Payne, Expeditions: Rome, Talos Principle 2, Ghostrunner 2, Blasphemous 2. But I'm at least somewhat interested in everything on this list.
Dawn of war is great (dawn of war 2 is not)
Superhot is fun maybe a little pretentious but the dev is a gay who went back and censored the VR version
arx fatalis is cool but clunky, has some nice depth
Starbound never really clicked with me
avorion is pretty alright
Monster hunter world is great but it does have a few elements that are some rather disappointing casualization and like every post tri game has no underwater, still well worth playing
warhammer 3 is alright despite all the drama but could be a lot better as well
Barotrauma is great and has lots of great mods, although very much a game that benefits from playing with friends, there are randoms but it's not the same, and you can play single player too
Everybody I know who plays project zomboid considers it more of a what it could be game, been a lot of development troubles with updates, possible I am confusing it with a different zombie game
played the demo for trepang it was pretty alright, I hear it's a bit short in the actual game but then it is on sale
Boltgun is cool, perfectly nice boomerish shooter
Starfield is actual fricking garbage don't do this to yourself, I was super hype for it but it's a crushing disappointment, morons will cry muh loading screens but those aren't a real issue at all, every other fricking element of the game is a real issue instead, from a technical perspective it's an improvement over their past games though, Regardless of your feelings about him the SsethTzeentach review is a pretty good look at just some of the many flaws if you are doubting me.
any games similar to these that might be good ? i got my eyes on ghostrunner 2, talos principle 2 and ksp 2 if they release their exploration mode for december
There's the obvious Mirror's Edge, which you have probably already played. Maybe take a look at Cloudbuilt for more "3D going fast and running on walls"core games.
Changing resolution was the first thing I tried, it makes it go from ant sized to slightly bigger ant sized. Then I tried the font fix for Soulstorm, but it didn't seem to work for base game Dawn of War. Might have made a mistake, so I'll try again I guess.
uniredux UI
Would that Soulstorm mod work for default DoW and Dark Crusade?
Is Warhammer III worth it? CA being shit and that controversy aside, I plan to also pirate all DLCs, so Im talking about the base game.
50% off looking kinda good
Has anyone given these a try?
I've had Chained Echoes saved on my wishlist for a while since it's rated pretty highly for an indi jrpg but then I saw Astlibra bundled with it and it looks crazy.
I've never heard of it before now and it's overwhelmingly positive on Steam.
Algeria bros we have insane regional pricings and our country isn't even showing up on steamdb so we're not gonna get cucked like argentina or turkey!!
I do, but i forgot about my gold membership on GMG and the extra discounts. I stick to official resellers. Won't buy from instand gaming or g2a to save 1$ and the risk that the keys get revoked. Had that happen to keys from both sites.
>rdr 2 already $20 >only 90% positive
normalgays ultimately didn't give much of a shit huh? either way, has there been any hint at all of a zombie DLC? the only reason I'd play this is if some crazy mod or game changing DLC comes out
Original sin 2 is pretty alright especially in co op with friends. Doom Eternal is pretty good but the marurder is aids, don't get ancient gods part 2. Noita is fun but maybe a bit needleslly obtuse. dishonered 2 is pretty alright if a little woke, at the start it asks you which character you want to play and this does have gameplay implications, the guy plays the same way he did in the first game while the girl has a new set of powers. Deus Ex is fantastic, it would be worth the $44 on it's own
Fanatical is official same with GMG so you wont have problems with keys from there. I got shit ton of games from ENEBA too and never had a problem. Worst are some random sites like kinguin,hk or g2a so avoid those in future.
Noita and Subnautica are great, but I've heard bad things about Subnautica Below Zero so you might as well just grab only the first game. Haven't played the others.
Sitting on the fence getting AoE4 or picking up the Dynasties of India and Mountain Royals dlc. I did get Boltgun, pretty fun and maybe getting the dlcs for Rimworld, even if theyre not as discounted as Id hope for
what do I cut to get my cart under $25? I've already dropped Project Warlock, Resident Evil 5, Fear 2, Need for Speed: Heat, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space 2, Force Reboot, and The Evil Within
pretty bad. you could've pirated all those games for free. do people buy singleplayer games just for achievements and to have it on their steam account?
I just noticed a bunch of games had their base price removed for me. Was this an universal thing or was I somehow benefited by Argentina's recent fricking over?
For example, La Pucelle and Soul Nomad used to be $20 before discounts, now they're $10.49, $5.24 after discount. Blaster Master 2 is now $6.29 before discounts. Jagged Alliance 3 is $20.99 before discount as well, and this game's less than a year old.
I'm specially weirded out by the odd prices, so I'd like to know if it is some sort of screw up to be taken advantage of or what.

Red Dead Redemption 2 is more expensive on Epic than Steam and Playstation store, this is not epic
Unfortunately the Epic sale sucks. Their catalog sucks as well. The 33% is great for recently released games that are not discounted anywhere or the few games on discount because the coupon stacks. I have a few games on discount that I want so I might grab a few there. Basically, only in specific games it's a great deal. This store will never get anywhere near steam
[...]
You are wasting your money cause of blind bland loyalty. Epic is a lot cheaper
Shill-dono, you're a moron.

Well, in my opinion all games in that list range from good to great tbh and have decent discounts so I think it will depend in what you are in the mood of collecting (Because I bet you won't play them).
well i like my chinese cartoons, emulated vidya and movies for free
I just think that having a big library that just werks, with all the feature of an ecosystem, across several devices, without terabytes of storage, is comfy
>been thinking of getting talos principle 2 >check it out over at egs >33% discount let's fricking go >problem at checkout because i got a new credit card >abort and try again >now the discount is gone
can't be fricked to solve that
i'll buy it on a steam sale next year
Anyone knows, with a turkish account do I need to keep using a turkish credit card or can i use my own? its probably too obvious to use a card from a different country but the conversation rate is annoying now that they switched to usd
Halo MCC, 6 campaigns for 10€
It takes two
i've seen people swear for Bonding Ambivalence but personally i've never tried it
We Were Here is a series of puzzle games, the first one is free
Streets of rogue is a weird mix of Deus ex and roguelite, tons of fun
For ideas i follow "co-op cowboys"
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/11247776-Co-op-Cowboys/
>If you solo you might find it boring 10-20 hours in
I found it boring about 5 hours in. I cant imagine it being much better co-op, probably having to wait on them to do inventory juggling and so on, feels like it would be a lot of dead time
I dont mind it in other games, but Outward had a lot of backtracking and weight limits and hunger and so on. The things that made it bothersome solo I cant imagine them being funner with someone else compounding that problem. Theres better things to co-op.
>frick. i thought it would be like battle brothers
Not close at all, you have 5 or 6 maps (can't remember), each map feature main quest and few side quests, everything is very linear. Combat is repetitive, once you get it, you will repeat the same over and over again, well, they have boss battle where bosses act after each of your actions which is fun but that's it.
core is ko-a in japanese, i dont know why its showing yumekoa heres the link anyway, It looks Whatever... https://store.steampowered.com/app/771240/YumeCore/ might buy it though
Drop Alice and Postal 2. Madness returns is boring af Chinese made slop , if you want to play a good Alice pirate the first one as it's unavailable to buy anywhere. Postal 2 is just a bad game that was kinda fun 20 years ago but aged horribly. Again the first one is better and available for free.
really bad, I downloaded all of those for free.
Im not poor and Steam plus CC is easier.
>Im not poor
>boast about buying ancient games for cheap
Anon, I...
Thank you
Yikes.
Guild Wars 1 finally went on sale. I've had that in my wishlist for ages, picked it up for $7.50
Also picked up Dread Delusion to sit in my library until it comes out of EA
>GW1
i am impress anet/NCSoft honored the agreement to keep it running until the studio dies.
The dev that keeps it alive said that it takes next to no load on the server so it's practically free for them to run it.
What's the gameplay like? I've never played a real MMO before, just browser shit like AQW
That is an extremely difficult to answer question.
Is there an order you recommend doing the campaigns in or are they all standalone?
That's usually the only time you can get an AB all week.
anon, trilogy and Eye of the North is all I need to buy, right?
>75% off of GW1
Oh god, that's actually really cheap. Tempting. But I'm so on the fence about paying for online only shit these days. Especially to Arenanet trannies.
>game from almost 20 years ago
>ONLY 75% off
>cheap
A bunch of gems for less than the price of a AAA game. You did great. Start with Wasteland 3.
I pirated them all for 0$
How did I do?
It's hard out there in third world countries, so I don't blame you. You're doing the best you can anon.
I'm in America and I also pirated them all for $0.
I have a great job and could afford them if I wanted to waste money.
How did I do?
You get a gold star from your kindergarden school teacher
troony detected
I'll take it
im glad you had fun with your hobby
i used all the time i saved not fricking with cracks patches on more un and interesting hobbies that my mom is proud of me for such as cooking
>fricking with cracks patched
ESL
Crack installs are one-click pretty much now
Like he said, it's hard out there in third world countries. It's okay anon, lots of people still think the US is a first world country so you didn't embarrass yourself too much.
Argentina will finally learn what it's like to be an American now that they switched to the dollar. good luck bros.
they will become fat, obsessed with Black folk and bow to israelites?
You're poor turdworlder seething about games your mobile phone can't even run (5 year old Android phone is all you got).
Steam is worth paying for you're just an esl cuck
>pay Valve Company, or you don't fit in
you need to try a different approach, steam marketer
>How did I do?
you made steamcucks seeth brother.
Like an average poorgay.
consuuuuuuume
consuming is so much fun
post images of what you consuuuuuuumed
are you consuming yet?
You a literally posting on a videogame image board bro
are you consuming yet?
wee! buying from VALVE COMPANY GAME STORE is so much fun, please share images of what you have paid LEGAL TENDER for in order to buy LICENSE TO GAME FROM THIS SPECIFIC COMPANY GAME STORE in this thread!
Nice buy! So much fun!
>wee! buying from VALVE COMPANY GAME STORE is so much fun, please share images of what you have paid LEGAL TENDER for in order to buy LICENSE TO GAME FROM THIS SPECIFIC COMPANY GAME STORE in this thread!
Nice buy! So much fun!
i say this
I don't get idiots like you.
How do you expect society to work if no one consumes anything?....
Do you wear clothes?
Do you eat food?
Do you use water or electricity?
Then homie you consume as well.
Unless you make your own clothes, grow and hunt your own food (with tools you made yourself) etc.
finally got ds3 on my deck
How do I use the 33$ off coupon on Steam??
Rate my sloppa bros
I already told you to drop that shit Umineko version
>buying a VN that has been free for over a decade
Look closely, it's a native linux version so no fuss on the Deck.
Right after the intro level in The Citadel, visit the difficulty sliders, enemy aggression changes their bullet speed btw, not just how much they move around.
It's very enjoyable as a tactical shooter.
>Deathloop
Is it actually good?
Just want to make sure you are aware the citadel is a guro (or maybe it was just ryona I forget I haven't actually played it) fetish game, supposedly pretty good though
Fight Knight is awesome. Punch Out as blobber RPG. Remember the map fir the swamp puzzle maze.
your legs are ok
tell me how deathloop is. Arkane makes pretty awesome games.
it's okay at most
>dynasties of india
Really?
You aren't going to play most of those and you know it.
>Black personpoop
bruh
You Dont own your Steam games
You pay to rent the right to play them
A pirate does since them game Dont need Steam to run
Enjoy your trojans bro
My haul.
Exanima, Valheim, SpaceBourne 2, rFactor, rFactor 2
Please make threads about Spacebourne 2 when you're done with it, I wanna know if it's worth keeping an eye on
When is sale over? I don’t get paid till Saturday
Just go check. Jesus man, no wonder you can't buy games until your next paycheck. I'm impressed that you know how to breathe without help.
I’m driving. I can’t check steam and drive at the same time
How is going to the steam website on your phone any harder than coming here and typing entire sentences? Are you moronic?
living paycheck to paycheck is homierdly
So basically you don’t know
A homierdly person would have a ton of money saved up from years of not spending it anywhere. Only a wasteful person lives paycheck to paycheck.
Ends Nov. 28th at 10 AM Pacific time.
Why did you respond to him? He's driving. You could cause him to crash.
He is responsible for when he checks his messages, not me.
Damnit anon, look what you just did
I removed a PT Cruiser from this world?
We are all welcome.
Thank y
Me? I copped the House in Fata Morgana
>how did I do?
Look up the price histories on steamdb or isthereanydeal and see if they were ever cheaper before.
Every other reply is a shitpost.
Should I buy Bomb Rush Cyberfunk? I never played Jet Set Radio
The gameplay is better than JSR, the soundtrack is not quite as good tho.
What was that game with the goat from a couple months back? Was it actually fun or just a porn thing?
it was clearly a dev shilling his game here
The Sexy Brutale is pretty good, nice choice anon. Has a great OST.
>resident evil 6
Unfunny ass incel.
Re6 campaign is awesome, unironically.
Pseudoregalia?
Wouldn't know, but I'm planning on getting it since I got the 'eck 'led and 6$ basically pocket change to me.
Honestly wondering if I should get Darktide and F76 while I wait for Killing Floor 3
That's the one, thanks bud. I'll pick it up too.
RE6 Merc is really fun, that sale price worth it for the Merc alone. Shame about the campaign tho but the Merc mode is where the game shine the most.
Do not listen to this moron
If you have a bro to play with RE6 is a fun game. You just shoot zombies and laugh at how moronic everything that happens really is.
>Etrian Odyssey
Would also recommend Undernauts Labyrinth Of Yomi and Labyrinth Of Touhou if you like Dungeon Crawlers.
Etrian oddessy is pretty fun although somewhat basic, sexy brutale is cool I really should finish it, not all that sexy despite the name though
You want head pats for spending money?
That eye poking fricker needs to have his fingers bitten off.
i have a left 4 dead itch but i'm gay and have aids and play alone wha'ts gonnna scratch it
What stuff from this haul is actually worth getting?
Get rid of Caligula, keep Nocturne do not listen to the crybabies about it. Soul Hackers 2 is good and worth it only on sale but not at full price.
The level design of SH2 is awful, even worse than the bad dungeons in Persona 5.
Tales of Berseria is 90% off
What is it about?
Quite good except Zoom: Eternal.
Is Hero's Passion any good? How bad is the Engrish?
FRICK, I meant Hero's Adventure: Road to Passion
Translation is okay understandable, but there are a lot of small things that are distracting. Some location names are inconsistent between the quest log and map, for example. Time is measured in whatever the frick the Chinese use and not numbers. Basically, it lacks polish. Game is still fun if you like the genre, and nothing stopping you from building a harem if that's your thing. I think there's an achievement for it.
anyone here played Lost Judgment i heard its 100x better then yakuza is that true is it for 30$
judgment is the first game, try that first, and yeah, personally i think its a tighter experience, they got to stretch their legs after a billion years of kiryu shenanigans
They only say that because the combat is better but everything else is the same. If price is your issue then try Yakuza 0 since it's much cheaper but gets you the same if not more content.
Should I get DJ Max? Is it easier than Project Diva?
>Is it easier than Project Diva?
lol no
It starts out easy enough on 4-button mode but past a certain point you might as well just learn an instrument. The difficulty ramps up big time
What's the best country to swap to for cheap prices? Ever since they put the Kabosh on Turkey and Argentina the prices haven't been as good.
have a nice day criminal.
If i was from Argentina I would hunt you down right now and force you to eat your own shit
Mostly looking to pick up some obscure shit I know I will be at least somewhat interested in.
Only thing I'm not sure about is A Space for the Unbound, has anyone played it?
Assult Android Cactus was actually really fun, picked it up for the right price.
How's Jupiter Hell? Have you tried it yet?
DoomRL with graphics. That's it.
Not yet, allegedly it's just DoomRL but better, and DoomRL was pretty good.
> buying video games
> none of those have online and are cracked
what are you gay?
how's Jagged Alliance 3? and related, is JA1 still the gold standard?
JA3 is great. I hated JA2.
How’s Atomic Heart? It’s $21 in my country, I’m a wagie so that’s quite a considerable mount.
Shit, play Metro, Prey or S.T.A.L.K.E.R. instead.
thinking about buying the orange box, halo mcc, and generation zero for my gf who has never played a first person game in her life
solid lineup
definitely buy her the orange box
>nier replicant not discounted
this is the only game i kinda wanted, should've picked it up for $24 in june i guess
i'll see you guys during next sale
But do you have time to play them all?
Are there any JRPGs where I can play as myself and not a preset character?
Is Pizza Tower worth it?
It's an awesome game, it just has a weird annoying fanbase
I think so, yeah. It's a neat little game at a decent price point.
if you like wario games
personally i dont like the genre
I like wario lands, but I don't like pizza tower. Try demo first.
i want to trim it down, what do I keep? 3 items max
Yakuza bundle and nothing else. FF7R is the worst fricking remake I've ever played.
Yakuza, Ys VIII and either Berseria or Rayman. Probably Rayman.
Get Yakuza but please play either the OG version of 1 or the splendid HD version on ps3/Wii U. Kiwami 1 took way too many liberties with its "remake" that it hurt the game. Kiwami 2 is great though.
Yakuza Bundle
Ys 8
Rayman Legends (Uplay)
>Rayman Legends (Uplay)
Ah, bollocks. Does it really force you to use Uplay? In this day and age? Same with Origins, too?
Origins doesn't use uplay I think but Legends has the best Origins levels so it's a better deal to just buy Legends.
uplay is a pain in the ass.
>Does it really force you to use Uplay?
As far as I know, yes. I've skipped several deep discounts on EA games that I really wanted to play for the same reason.
Tales of Berseria is a pretty good JRPG. You should get it if you're into that.
you may not like Y2 kiwami, dragon engine is weird
Thanks to your post anon I noticed SEGA stopped discounted Yakuza 0. You can still get a good deal with the bundle assuming you play all three but no more $5 Yakuza 0 for an introduction to the series. Weirdly greedy for a large story series but alright.
Get rid of Rayman and Bersaria both of those can wait.
drop ff vii it's not worth it for that much and it's a third of your cart
Definitely drop FF7R.
why buy ff7R when its not the complete story, just wait for the full trilogy.
how is judgement coming from kiwami 2?
trying to decide on that or the yakuza remastered trilogy but i don't know how soon i will be able to play all of those games. i want to see how much i can complete of either judgement or yakuza 3 before a bunch of other games i want to play start coming out in the next 2 months (GBVS:R in december and then UNI2, tekken 8 and infinite wealth in january)
>games I've been wanting to play are finally on sale
>suddenly feel like they're not such great games after all and don't buy them
why am I like this?
>games i wanted to play are not on sale
problem solved
Because you're one stingy motherfricker.
I'm the same, too.
Any games with cute boys? Please and thank you.
Is sifu any good?
>paying for snes roms
The FFVI Remaster (not to be mistaken with the original trash mobile port) has some nice additions and can be modded in a lot of ways for a great experience.
what's new in the FF6 remaster anon?
https://finalfantasy.fandom.com/wiki/Final_Fantasy_VI_version_differences#Final_Fantasy_VI_Pixel_Remaster
Native 16:9 resolution, orchestra OST and 3D scenes are the best things imo.
There are also mods on nexusmods. I personally installed many to resemble more the SNES version. Also you should install Reshade and use CRT Royale to make the game look great.
>FFVI mobile trash
Save yourself $18 and emulate FFVI TWUE
Sifu isn't great. The combat depth gets hampered by bullshit. The repetitiveness can cut deeper than the worst dark souls runbacks. The trash mobs in between bosses should arguably be the more entertaining parts to refine how you'll approach milestones but they're fricking boring. The Sekiro revive mechanic makes sense but you can't use it if you want to get the true ending.
Refunded after an hour. Already felt the card game grind coming on. Not my thing.
I dropped 2 75% in. Dunno about 3.
Disgusting cows.
I'm sitting on 8 unread novels and 4 untouched manga.
>Sifu isn't great. The combat depth gets hampered by bullshit. The repetitiveness can cut deeper than the worst dark souls runbacks. Sounds like unironic skill issue, you wouldn't think the game is repetitive if you didn't die against mobs, shitter
It's boring. Go suck it off, why don't you?
>Is sifu any good?
it'll worth trying once it's 5 bucks but that's about it
It's good but it's also difficult for real, I think they did add an easy mode in the end though
Just got Inscryption for $10, what's the Gankererdict?
Great game, and $10 is a great deal for it. Don't be one of those losers who drops it in the second act.
Alright, someone convince me to not get Borderlands 3 because I really want to try out Moze due to her ability being like Titanfall
Pirate it because main game story is beyond trash and while season pass 2 adds a fun mode the rest of it is nonexistent so you basically buy that mode for the price of entire pass
the frick you need to BUY it for? you won't be playing online and there's possibly a way to play multi over hamachi or something
All of my friends don't pirate for shit so I go the legal route, thanks for the heads up
Also take note that TVHM is completely fricking worthless because mayhem (unlocks after beating the game) sets the difficulty and all quest rewards can be reobtained from vending machines (special ones in sanctuary in 3 and any vending machine in wonderlands). Don't waste time playing it.
shill me on any games that last long and are actually fun
last long by virtue of being actually long as frick or by having some kind of grind while also being fun enough to play for that long, or what
Against the storm. It's a roguelite city builder, so aside of the replayability from upgrading your base skill set, there's also the replayability from randomized element in each of your playthrough.
my penis is long and actually fun but it's single player only
Try Mount and Blade, Wartales or any open world survival crafting game
I've put 375 hours into Rogue's Tale and loved almost every moment of it. I'm gonna put in more now since it got an uodate just a few days ago.
Factorio
Any monster hunter
Oh also stellaris, but the utopia expansion is pretty much mandatory
Is dead cells with all the dlc worth it? sucks that castlevania dlc isn't on sale
Dead Cells fricking rules. I got it a couple weeks ago and I've already sunk around 45 hours into it. The dlc adds a shit ton of stuff too.
Looks pretty, music is nice, controls are smooth, but by golly does it not deserve to have this many NG+ layers. There's just way too little actual content for it to be replayable for THAT long. And it's not just scaling, there's content and the whole-ass "true ending" behind those NG+ layers.
Honestly, I wouldn't buy it unless it had AT THE VERY LEASTEST a 75% off.
been waiting for armored core 6 to go on sale, but I guess now's not the time for it.
how is Portia? also do you think Etrian games can go cheaper?
wtf are those prices
>Slay the princess is not on discount
Pain
pick 2
>baldurs gate 1 & 2
>pathfinder kingmaker imperial edition
>planescape torment
Old Baldur gate + planescape torment
pathfinder is pozzed shit.
Anything here that i should absolutely not buy?
Most are good games.
Consider that GTAIV performs like shit on PC.
SOMA and Outlast are trash, the rest seems fine.
Great list, I don't see any issue other than GTA IV being awful on PC and I don't think there are fixes for it.
When you play bayonetta make sure you actually learn to dodge offset.
I loved the game even not having bothered to figure it out first run but it's so much better if you do
Also if it's an issue to you the dev for subnautica was kind of a gay going on about how he didn't put guns in the game because guns are evil or something
The evil within 2, Soma and outlast have all been free on epic.
wasteland 2&3 worth buying on linux?
Nothing I have on my wishlist that went on sale was cheap enough for me to care. What are the biggest things this year? I'm feeling like I might just skip.
need some actual fricking videogames that will run on my dual core AMD integrated graphics potato laptop from 2016. no 2d or indieshit please. i am open to any genre
thinking of buying
>far cry 4, max payne, bf4 and wolfenstein the new order, cod 2007
i already have
>fallout 1,2,3,4,NV
>morrowind oblivion skyrim
>prey+dishonored 1,2
>sleeping dogs
>grim dawn, titan quest, pillars, darkest dungeon
>all supergiant games
>all valve shit
>bioshock collection
>Devil Daggers (arena)
>Monster Sanctuary (modern pokemon)
>Door Kickers Action Squad (2d run and gun)
>Huntdown (2d run and gun)
>Brigador (mecha game)
>Nine Parchments (wizards/coop)

>Arboria (souls clone)
Tower defence:
>Orcs Must Die 3
>Ancient Planet
>Rogue Tower
>Sanctum 1/2
FPS Puzzle
>Cyber Hook
>The Turing Test
Buy these and reset your brain of terrible conditioning from outright shite games. You'll have fun in life again.
This is a list I usually advise everyone.
>no indie
For what purpose?
Weak bait. Just giving a (you) in pointless hopes that's the last one you'll get, but people are too mentally handicapped to not give you more.
Deus Ex, Deus Ex invisible War, Deus Ex Human Revolution, System Shock 2, Dishonored
The Talos Principle
Doom 1993, Doom II, Final Doom -> Brutal Doom mod
Doom 64
Brigand: Oaxaca
>Black Friday
>3 books for the price of 2
>I still buy that 1 book i want
I don't understand this steamgay mentality of hoarding shit because it's "good value" i feel it's the ultimate scum to force to buy something that has little value to begin with because you perceive it as "good value"
>implying bookgays don't complain about buying books and then never reading them
japs even have a term for it - tsundoku
Anyone tried this one? It's about 3.3 USD for me
which one, bros?
>Tony Hawk
>Doing a sick trick over a bunch of h-games
kek
Just open rule34 and jerk off from there.
Easy and free.
Holy shit I didnt know Dungeon and Darkness gonna come out on steam, good to know
You should just pirate THP 1+2, it gets boring after a couple of days
you gays will never play the games you are buying
i played most of the games i bought
Post your finished gaymes, if you're so great
Window shopping
Mighty 9 is shit, iX 2 is slightly better but still shit that completely ruins Copen/Akira, DMFD is okay at first but way too repetitive and tedious with bullshit endgame.
DMFD is the only game I would buy from the list tbh
Both Rosenkreuzstilette games are janky but fun, especially if you like classic MegaMan. Gunvolt 3, despite all its issues, still has a really fun core mechanic (unlike iX 2).
Yeah they're the 2 gems I played this year so I would like to own them.
Semi off topic but how shit is TF2 on the deck?
Every time there's a steam sale I run into the same problem and end up buying nothing because of it: I just don't know shit about games released after the late 2000s. My entire steam library is just 12 games.
Only one I'm not sure of is RDR2. I tried to play it on PlayStation and just got bored early on.
Was hoping for better sales on RoboCop and BG33. They'll have to wait til Christmas.
rdr2 is alright if you like sandbox games but online is dead.
and GTAV was free on epic and the online is cancer.
I'm unsure about Thronefall
You shouldn't be. It's great.
why the frick do people buy games that are easily pirateable? and don't give me the rich/poor argument
Another poorgay outs himself.
or is it perhaps that you're terminally online with no friends and video games are the only thing to have to spend your money on?
Or maybe I'm not a thirdworlder poorgay who only earns enough money to spend on one or the other.
lmao you are all so fricking predictable, if it was really just a rich thing you wouldnt all get so seething the moment someone mentions how fricking moronic you are for spending hundreds on video games when you could save the money to do something actually productive and still play the same games
This is such a dumb take only held by immature adults and children. If you've got disposable income, it's a no brainer to support the videogames and/or businesses that you like. If you don't do that, the things that you actually approve of will be pushed out of the market and die for good, while those you dislike will rise to the top and push even more things that you enjoy out of the competition.
>if you actually like vidya it's a good thing to support good devs, but only do so if it's within your financial means
>if you don't like vidya your opinion is worth less than dirt on this topic
It's really that simple. Don't act like a martyr or a financial guru just because you pirate video games.
And to be clear if you don't have a disposable income and you are still buying videogames, then you're a fricking moron and probably a criminal or something.
>>And to be clear if you don't have a disposable income and you are still buying videogames, then you're a fricking moron and probably a criminal or something.
Stealing games with other people's credit cards is zased
>Stealing games with other people's credit cards is zased
Based sure, but still criminal and subhuman.
>give money to your favorite devs
>don't spend any of your personal funds so you can still eat at a restaurant every week
stonks
Normal people don't steal if they can afford something, they buy the things they want. You're in the minority, even here.
You will always sound moronic when you genuinely ask why people don't pirate as if it was hard to understand. Don't try to make people who act normally seem like the terminally online weirdos.
it's a matter of honor and dignity
As opposed to buying a shit game that's hard to pirate?
1st world mindset, sudacas wouldnt understand.
because i want to have digital licenses for them
and because i would like some devs to get money so they make more games
>i would like some devs to get money so they make more games
say it again for the pirates in the back. pirating from your favorite devs certainly isn't helping them.
I used to pirate a ton as a pennyless teen and i still do from time to time (mostly AAA slop), but honestly 5€ to have a game on Steam is less hassle than looking up for a torrent.
shills.
Only poors pirate, poorgay. I think that the whole thrirdworld steam debacle from yesterday conclusively proved it.
viruses
Hey anons, which Warhammer 40K Dawn of War game was the good one again? Any reason to start at 1?
The first was the best, the second is a hybrid between rpg and rts, not the best, and 3 is moba shit, hard pass.
You are a zoomer, this means your opinion is irrelevant, i will stop replying to your moronation, moron.
judgement or yakuza 3
I firmly believe that there are no bad RGG games
However Y3 is my least favorite. Many get filtered by combat and it's a valid complaint but it gets better once you get back the Komaki moves.
It's just that the whole plot is silly and nobody is acting reasonably, probably the most forced sequence of events of any Yakuza
Is BattleBit Remastered good? Is it better than Battlefield 1/Battlefield V/Battlefield 4?
What other multiplayer games are good? No Co-op games.
Lads, what's the best
>arcade racer
>single player FPS
>3rd person action adventure game
>strategy/management/builder autism game
available on Steam right now?
>arcade racer
i had the most fun with Grid (2008) but it's delisted on steam so just pirate it
>single player FPS
Amid Evil + DLC
>3rd person action adventure game
Vanquish
>strategy/management/builder autism game
Factorio for autismo
Homeworld remastered collection for strategy, it goes for just 3€ and it's a sweet game (get the players patch)
Anno 1404 is still king for comfy managment
Workers & Resources: Soviet Republic for micromanagment hell if you're into it
I see Vanquish as more of a pure shooter and I already own it.
>Amid Evil
Looks more like melee than shootan from screenshots. I will look into the autism recs.
>does Nioh count
I don't know since I haven't played it. How much non-combat gameplay is there? Like when I think of adventure I think of something that isn't just walking from one combat encounter to another.
>Looks more like melee than shootan
It's a fun shooter with tightly designed levels and great combat
I see. Also, I looked up Anno 1404 and apparently it doesn't have shitty DRM on GOG so I might buy it from there instead.
>when I think of adventure I think of something that isn't just walking from one combat encounter to another.
Check Mad Max (2015) and Shadow of War
>How much non-combat gameplay is there?
It is mostly combat gameplay, but it's all framed as a proper adventure with a ton of lore and character stuff backing it up. Far moreso for Nioh 2 which is an exceptional hero's journey that directly ties your Mute moron MC into the narrative, but Nioh 1 still has a sprawling adventure. Like imagine a tale with a lot of timeskips, I guess.
>Homeworld remastered collection for strategy, it goes for just 3€ and it's a sweet game (get the players patch)
The remaster butchered alot of mechanics the original had
>homeworld
you got this for free on epic. Along with the deserts one.
I don't want chinese spyware in my pc, why do you think its "free"?
You are the product.
>why do you think its "free"?
because a bunch of people wearing 5000$ suits thought
>Steam has a gazillion users
>Steam is making bazingas of money
>If we get more users we'll get automatically more revenue gazillion/bazingas money per user
That's why their leaked metrics show a "cost per user", the plan was to buy customers.
It's like buying 100k emails to spam newsletters, except everybody knows that 1000 perople that signed up willingly to your marketing are worth a million addresses from a spam list.
>3rd person action adventure game
does nioh count?
>strategy/management/builder autism game
amazing cultivation simulator
One step closer to rebuilding my entire PS4 and Xbox One library on PC.
i'm kinda conflicted about double dipping on games like dark souls 3 because i move between two places frequently and my PS4 is in one place and while PC in another. lack of cross save is another bummer
Which one do I keep?
I can get like 2
Honestly none of these are actually good.
ebin, what would you recommend
If the demo is anything to go by, Roboquest is a god-tier game.
Roboquest is also on gamepass
Darktide sucks wiener. The only reason to play that game is if the 40k setting can carry it for you, otherwise play Vermintide.
>Darktide
Wait a few years and buy it when it's dirt cheap and finished.
>Rogue Legashit
Waste of time.
>Waste of time.
why
darktide is fun, needs more content though, but the gameplay loop is fun enough for me to keep playing
Instead of buying new games, why don't you finish the games you bought but haven't played yet, hmm Ganker?
how about i do both instead of "instead"?
I'm waiting for my Steam Deck oled to come into the mail. It hasn't arrived yet so there you go!
Thoughts?
>Demon's Souls
How did you end up in our timeline anon?
Want to keep around 10€ worth of stuff, what to remove?
Gothic 3 sucks ass.
You can do a lot better when it comes to J-Action than fricking Taleslop
>Gothic 3 sucks ass.
i heard that if you run enchanced edition with a couple of content packs it reaches an ok status
It doesn't, no amount of mods will ever fix that pile of shit.
It does, don't listen to anon, he's still salty 20 years later.
Any game suggestions that give the feeling of pic related?
Cyberpunk 2077
Sorry anon. Just skyrim.
ghost of tsushima
The greatest walking sim ever made
Act 1 in Baldur's Gate 3
rate
++--+--+
Any citybuilders/colonysims etc? I liked Banished but looking for something with a bit more content.
Cities: Skylines + creamapi
>Doom Eternal
>Noita
Got those too. And Death's Door. Uncharted Collection is still a bit too expensive for my taste.
Any opinions on those?
Looks a bit like Bloodstained but with better environments
War of Rights is $15 right now.
But I'm at least somewhat interested in everything on this list.
mooncrash and grimrock, rest is all garbage
Starfield is actual fricking garbage don't do this to yourself, I was super hype for it but it's a crushing disappointment, morons will cry muh loading screens but those aren't a real issue at all, every other fricking element of the game is a real issue instead, from a technical perspective it's an improvement over their past games though, Regardless of your feelings about him the SsethTzeentach review is a pretty good look at just some of the many flaws if you are doubting me.
i dont watch homosexual youtubers but i love bethesda and todd, can i get a quick rundown of whats wrong with starfield? i was planning to buy it soon
What do you love about bethesdas games?
Waiting to see if a steam key for Nova Drift comes back in stock before the 28th. If not I'll just buy it off Steam.
light cart this time i already have 70+ bought and ready to play from other sales
any games similar to these that might be good ? i got my eyes on ghostrunner 2, talos principle 2 and ksp 2 if they release their exploration mode for december
There's the obvious Mirror's Edge, which you have probably already played. Maybe take a look at Cloudbuilt for more "3D going fast and running on walls"core games.
cloudbuilt looks really fun, thanks!
Is there something like Civilisation or Europa Universalis, but in S P A C E?
Which One should I go with? Each option comes out to around $5
1.Pulsar colony and prey
2.Kerbal space program
3.fallout 2 with super hot
>pick up 40k Dawn of War to relive my childhood
>all the text is made for ants
I hate PC gaming
set lower resolution
but 4K meme, SIR!
i prefer locked upscaled shit on console, SIR!
Changing resolution was the first thing I tried, it makes it go from ant sized to slightly bigger ant sized. Then I tried the font fix for Soulstorm, but it didn't seem to work for base game Dawn of War. Might have made a mistake, so I'll try again I guess.
Would that Soulstorm mod work for default DoW and Dark Crusade?
uniredux UI
Is Warhammer III worth it? CA being shit and that controversy aside, I plan to also pirate all DLCs, so Im talking about the base game.
50% off looking kinda good
Sort of, I would say at 50% it's not a bad choice
>happy because steam sale
>Final fantasy games are not discounted
>I already played 7R and Crisis Core
Why the frick aren't they discounted?
because no one wants fecal fantasy slop
If it's pre-7th gen just emulate it. If it's post-6th gen you're better off not touching that garbage.
I like steam cause it backs up my saves.
heroes 3 is pretty good
what massively multiplayer games are good?
Has anyone given these a try?
I've had Chained Echoes saved on my wishlist for a while since it's rated pretty highly for an indi jrpg but then I saw Astlibra bundled with it and it looks crazy.
I've never heard of it before now and it's overwhelmingly positive on Steam.
Both are kino. Chained Echoes is better than Sea of Stars but unfortunately the latter being prettier gave it the spotlight.
chained echoes is great
why would I buy games on steam when I can download them for free?
lmao
What are some must buy or your favorite games to play on an oled steam deck
Algeria bros we have insane regional pricings and our country isn't even showing up on steamdb so we're not gonna get cucked like argentina or turkey!!
That's factorio I'm a moron, here's another game
what subhuman african shithole uses fr*nch
My windows is french and I need it that way for work purposes.
Go back
Ganker is an egs board now
Just letting everyone know. If you like DMC and do not mind a AA experience similar to Senran Kagura Get Oneechanbara ORIGIN Deluxe edition.
Glad i checked GMG. This plus Fate/EXTELLA Link.
Always use IsThereAnyDeal or gg.deals to check elsewhere.
I do, but i forgot about my gold membership on GMG and the extra discounts. I stick to official resellers. Won't buy from instand gaming or g2a to save 1$ and the risk that the keys get revoked. Had that happen to keys from both sites.
Will I regret this? Yes.
Everhood, FAITH, and Hi-Fi Rush are very based games. Carrion is okay but didn't really do much for me personally.
Carrion just should have been better than it is
I played the shadows of doubt demo is was pretty cool
Played only Faith and Carrion out of these. Carrion is ok, typical small indie game. Faith is fantastic though, get it.
>rdr 2 already $20
>only 90% positive
normalgays ultimately didn't give much of a shit huh? either way, has there been any hint at all of a zombie DLC? the only reason I'd play this is if some crazy mod or game changing DLC comes out
r8
Potion Craft is mega repetitive. And becomes too grindy rather sooner, than later. I recommend re-thinking buying that game.
thanks for the warning bro
are there any decent games about alchemy and potion making?
Worth it for 14 bucks?
no
I had fun but it does get repetitive. for this price worth tbh
Deus Ex is fantastic, it would be worth the $44 on it's own
What's the point of Steam these days?
I can call people Black folk without losing access to my entire library.
https://www.fanatical.com/en/game/persona-5-royal
Should I? Never redeemed anything on steam before.
DO NOT REDEEM SIR
Non meme answers please?
fanatical is official key seller so if you want to go for it.
Thanks for the heads up. I will do it then.
Fanatical is official same with GMG so you wont have problems with keys from there. I got shit ton of games from ENEBA too and never had a problem. Worst are some random sites like kinguin,hk or g2a so avoid those in future.
I have used kinguin with no problems. Got 1 broken key from ENEBA.
havent had problem with fanatical (nor any other site to be fair)
CONSUME
CONSUME
CONSUME
I WILL CONSUME
EVERYTHING
Yay or nay?
I had fun with Darkwood. Haven't played Signalis, but watched some gameplay. Looks like it is fun. I may grab it for myself.
>Dokapon Kingdom only 25% off
They went crazy with that base price, game's too niche
>buying more than 1 game at a time
why are you guys so morons
If you could only pick two, which would you pick?
Which games are worth it Gankerro's?
Ion Fury is a pretty good retro FPS. Get the Aftershock DLC too while you're at it.
Noita is fun if a bit obtuse
Noita and Subnautica are great, but I've heard bad things about Subnautica Below Zero so you might as well just grab only the first game. Haven't played the others.
Sitting on the fence getting AoE4 or picking up the Dynasties of India and Mountain Royals dlc. I did get Boltgun, pretty fun and maybe getting the dlcs for Rimworld, even if theyre not as discounted as Id hope for
torn between getting dead space remake or just get goy pass for 10 bucks and play it there.
If you never bought EA Play before its literally 1 bucks for first month. I played it through that lol.
oh shit for real?, nice, you saved me money, thanks mate.
what do I cut to get my cart under $25? I've already dropped Project Warlock, Resident Evil 5, Fear 2, Need for Speed: Heat, Assassin's Creed, Dead Space 2, Force Reboot, and The Evil Within
You can get the entire Gothic trilogy for 4$
https://store.steampowered.com/sub/6375
pretty bad. you could've pirated all those games for free. do people buy singleplayer games just for achievements and to have it on their steam account?
I just noticed a bunch of games had their base price removed for me. Was this an universal thing or was I somehow benefited by Argentina's recent fricking over?
For example, La Pucelle and Soul Nomad used to be $20 before discounts, now they're $10.49, $5.24 after discount. Blaster Master 2 is now $6.29 before discounts. Jagged Alliance 3 is $20.99 before discount as well, and this game's less than a year old.
I'm specially weirded out by the odd prices, so I'd like to know if it is some sort of screw up to be taken advantage of or what.
Reduced* not removed.
RE Revelations 2 complete is currently 83% off the lowest I're ever seen, the Raid mode is a pretty good time waster
I'm not gonna install a 3rd party le ebin store launcher on my Steam Deck, frick off
Brand loyalty is cringe af bro
Does your brand got dedicated handheld that I can play on the go?? No I'm not gonna install windows on the deck like other morons
You are wasting your money cause of blind bland loyalty. Epic is a lot cheaper
Tim looks like a pedophile, also I hate ebin for what they did to unreal tournament and everything else they've murdered
I dont give a frick about unreal tournament. I care about cheap games. Epic is the way to go this sale
Id rather use instant-gaming or cdkeys
frick off chink shill
Just use heroic launcher like anyone else. The games are cheap
or 1337x.to or piratebay
frick ebin and frick Tim
Piracy is illegal
So should be being Tim Sweeny or selling out to Tencent
You are stuck in the past, fossil
Epic is overtaking steam and it will be time to let go of your library
yeah two more weeks or whatever sis
I just use the Legendary integration for Playnite so I don't even have to use an additional launcher: https://playnite.link/addons.html#LegendaryLibrary
This store will never get anywhere near steam
>epic is a lot cheaper
it isnt
u can use Heroic launcher
frick off
Red Dead Redemption 2 is more expensive on Epic than Steam and Playstation store, this is not epic
Nobody asked.
I'll buy games on Epic if they revert back Saga to the blonde mommy
Shill-dono, you're a moron.
None of these
games are even on the epic store.
Nobeta is too short for that price unless you're the kind that speedruns. The porn is free and you can just go for the standard version instead
Stop buying more and more games when you haven't even finished the ones you already own!
>144 in my backlog, 116 finished.
Well...Maybe I'll leave it at one or two new games only...
I will get one, and only one. But which one? You be the judge.
How about getting a good game instead?
Frick off I like building things
Hey so we're voting Wanted: Dead for GotY, right?
>HE WAKES UP AND HE HAS FOUR BALLS
Best Story Rich Game for sure.
are any of these worth their current price?
Bone raiser is great regardless of the discount. No idea about the rest.
Well, in my opinion all games in that list range from good to great tbh and have decent discounts so I think it will depend in what you are in the mood of collecting (Because I bet you won't play them).
Nobody replied to me, but I guess this confirms I'm getting a regional price thing now. Thanks Argentina.
Ganker and Ganker always promote piracy yet Ganker is always shilling products to buy, why?
Ganker has regular buygay threads too
You can't pirate an anime figure.
its just achievement gays and people who treat their steam account like social media and want to display all that game related shit.
well i like my chinese cartoons, emulated vidya and movies for free
I just think that having a big library that just werks, with all the feature of an ecosystem, across several devices, without terabytes of storage, is comfy
I bought all half life games, except alyx 5 minutes before the autumn sale start. Nothing from the actual sale so far
What did steam mean by this?
Zatria is short as frick do not buy it
means you are a perv, so am I
BF1 $4 thought I already had it but guess not
Recommend me good Steam Deck "verified" games on sale now.
Recommend me good Steam Deck "playable" games that aren't actually fricking broken to play on the deck that are on sale now.
Portia, yes or not
what do I add/remove?
yourself
Definitely keep mary skelter
remove all neptunia, mad father can be played for free, nobeta is not worth more than $20
Girl here
Any good otome or game full of good husbands?
https://store.steampowered.com/bundle/22722/The_Yakuza_Collection/
breasts or gtfo
Monster Hunter World or Monster Hunter Rise? Which one is better and which one is more likely to have randoms in it I can finish quests with?
World for both questions.
World has more players, Rise is more game-y and fun.
The first, then the second because release order.
This is an awful question that riles up schizos, by the way.
Decisions. I haven't played since Monster Hunter 3U. Which one is closest to that?
Rise is closer to older games, especially the portable ones.
Personally, I enjoyed rise a bit more, I hated tracking monster poop for hunts and didnt like the ancient forest. Maybe I just dont like complex maps
I9LMW-I706X-Y70VX
10$
Grabbed, thanks anon.
What was it?
10$
>been thinking of getting talos principle 2
>check it out over at egs
>33% discount let's fricking go
>problem at checkout because i got a new credit card
>abort and try again
>now the discount is gone
can't be fricked to solve that
i'll buy it on a steam sale next year
claim another coupon on the main page ?
Anyone knows, with a turkish account do I need to keep using a turkish credit card or can i use my own? its probably too obvious to use a card from a different country but the conversation rate is annoying now that they switched to usd
doa5 or 6? for some reason I find doa6 graphics ugly
What's a good 2 player co-op game with a decent discount?
re5, re6, dead space 3, revelations 1 and 2 raid mode, Trine games
Halo MCC, 6 campaigns for 10€
It takes two
i've seen people swear for Bonding Ambivalence but personally i've never tried it
We Were Here is a series of puzzle games, the first one is free
Streets of rogue is a weird mix of Deus ex and roguelite, tons of fun
For ideas i follow "co-op cowboys"
https://store.steampowered.com/curator/11247776-Co-op-Cowboys/
Checkem
I also grabbed every single hitman
any good stuff for absolute dogshit PCs?
No. Upgrade your PC
How about Dungeon Munchies? Heard it was good.
Bad Rats
Underrail
Grim Dawn
Hollow Knight
Darkwood
Risk of Rain
Hades
Binding of Isaac
Disgaea (not 7)
Moonlighter
Shantae
C&C Remastered
Sacred
Terraria
Core Keeper
Stoneshard
If you were Argentinian you would be set for life
If only. But this still will get me a nice indie game and a half.
Scooped: Deus Ex, Bioshock 1, Dishonored 1 & 2
Should I buy Dark Souls again? Already beaten it twice on PlayStation, but it's my favorite game.
No get something new, Lies of P or whatever that is.
There are no good Soulslikes not made by FromSoftware.
thoughts?
I want them for Deck
https://store.steampowered.com/app/843810/A_Perfect_Day/
I pirated it but bought it anyway since it's insanely good.
looks like a Social Credit point game
Is this good?
https://store.steampowered.com/app/1216710/Cyber_Manhunt/
the 2nd game is coming soon
Is Outward worth buying?
Getting Pathfinder WOTR and Wartales so far
If you have someone to co-op with in Outward sure. It has split-screen co-op so one copy is enough
If you solo you might find it boring 10-20 hours in
>If you solo you might find it boring 10-20 hours in
I found it boring about 5 hours in. I cant imagine it being much better co-op, probably having to wait on them to do inventory juggling and so on, feels like it would be a lot of dead time
That's the magic of having someone else to play with. You will never understand this and that's fine
I dont mind it in other games, but Outward had a lot of backtracking and weight limits and hunger and so on. The things that made it bothersome solo I cant imagine them being funner with someone else compounding that problem. Theres better things to co-op.
alright, thanks. ill toss it and grab dredge then
frick. i thought it would be like battle brothers, just graphically different with some extra stuff thrown in
>frick. i thought it would be like battle brothers
Not close at all, you have 5 or 6 maps (can't remember), each map feature main quest and few side quests, everything is very linear. Combat is repetitive, once you get it, you will repeat the same over and over again, well, they have boss battle where bosses act after each of your actions which is fun but that's it.
well, that's a big bummer. thanks for saving me some money
>Wartales
Shit end up boring so fast, it's ridiculous and dev only put effort into 1st map.
I got God of War and Pizza Tower for the same money.
Ayo, Yo homies Thingk This a Good Purcahse?
Why cant I find Yumekoa?
Huh, it shows up as YumeCore for me.
core is ko-a in japanese, i dont know why its showing yumekoa heres the link anyway, It looks Whatever... https://store.steampowered.com/app/771240/YumeCore/ might buy it though
Interesting. It looks kind of soulful if you like beat em ups
Drop Alice and Postal 2. Madness returns is boring af Chinese made slop , if you want to play a good Alice pirate the first one as it's unavailable to buy anywhere. Postal 2 is just a bad game that was kinda fun 20 years ago but aged horribly. Again the first one is better and available for free.
i hear that the steam version comes witha remaster of the first one, plus its like a dollar each
Any recommendations for fans of automation games like factorio or satisfactory?
Dyson Sphere Program
Need to remove one of these. Thoughts?
don't remove symphony of war
garbage story but the gameplay is superb
remove symphony of war
garbage story and broken boring gameplay
Kenshi
give me some good games with cute anime girls and good gameplay
Rabi-Ribi
already own it
Does the Splinter Cell + Prince of Persia bundles worth $24
is this worth $7.49? I've never really played any JRPGs
yes,
dont play the 2nd game THOUGH. horrible.
just 1 more year and maybe judgment and lost judgment will be $40 for both games and dlc
Pirate judgment and get lost judgment. Lost judgment is the Best game... Ever
>Pirate
i rather not. i have enough games anyways, just want to CONSOOM
Maybe yakuza 8 release in january will help with that
No one is getting The Bloodline? sad
