Not really, it's common to let reviewers keep review articles, but it wouldn't be unexpected for them to ask for it back. Especially with a prototype or any other non mass produced product.
That being said, since it's from a brand new startup and it was their first time sending a review sample, I wouldn't be surprised if they made a mistake and didn't clarify that they wanted it back.

Years down the line the kid kills himself and the mother does the same just before the next Christmas because she couldn't handle a Christmas without her son. Holy crap. When I started watching this video had 40k views. Then I refreshed it about 20 minutes ago and it had 77k. Now over 160k views (which is pretty much average lifetime views of a modern GN video)
This "labs" thing was dead on arrival when Linus decided to hire a guy who make his career in "technical marketing" apparently because he knew him from sponsorship deals. Literally would have been cheaper to get a random guy with a PhD in statistics, maths, or engineering.

LTT doesn't do rehearsals, they think it's more entertaining if errors get fixed in post production. It makes them appear like they're doing it off the cuff and sounds more natural.
Fixing that would just take a 5 second reshoot though, or just replacing the voiceline in that case. They did neither.

yeah i can even recall some videos where the cameraman corrects something, they put subtitles in for what he said, and the host says yeah ok whatever. the attitude when presenting products is all wrong. the cameraman, who i assume is or works closely with he editor, should know to call for a redo of that line. it would safe face since the error wouldnt haven even made it to the public.
It's completely half-assed. Like people who completely checked out and are going through the motions.
Honestly I'd do the same if I was paid like 60k and renting a cuckshed, shooting videos frantically while my boss uses company funds and gifted sponsor products to re-do his multimillion dollar gigamansion every 3 months.

That's valid, and I know other YouTube channels also don't do any rehearsal. The difference is that they're smaller and write the content they perform, so they're already familiar with it, and they do retakes to make sure they still get it right.
Right, that's the sort of error that's immediately obvious and so you correct it in the next take. Makes it seem like they don't retake any shots.
