It's a pretty lazy design but it's also fairly inoffensive. Would've been better without the 'arms', a less 🙂 face and maybe a second type, either psychic, ghost or fairy.
In some years it will probably end up as a pokemon people always bring up in "the most forgettable pokemon" thread. It's a bad design, but in a kinda bland way, like when you look at it you think "meh, what a shit design" and then quickly forget about it unlike a mon like Calyrex who looks like shit but in a memorable way.
People only defend Stonjourner because it was real.
