Street Fighter 6

How do I get over my anxiety playing online? Even in Battle Hub when there's no points on the line I still feel myself getting nervous and when I play my mind blanks out and I forget all the stuff I grinded.

I've been trying to quit the genre for quite a while. It's harder than the games themselves.

Just play sets in battle hub. nothing to lose and you have an opportunity to learn your opponents.

What's funny is when I do this and someone is up 3 or 5 games straight and I figure them out and win once 90% of the time they quit.

        >prease buy gamu
No. Simple inputs matching complex inputs is an insult. The other balance changes seem moronic as well. Remove complex inputs, then you have my permission to die.

        >t. Never played the first one

Just play and play and you get used to it. This will be an issue for like a week max as long as you just play.

If you're embarrassed about being a beginner then just play people who are the same rank as you. Even people better than you were once beginners too and if they have a problem with that than they're the idiots not you.

How the absolute frick do I do his level 3 without jumping as well as grabbing someone midair and not going for a regular kick?

it's 100x easier to buffer the level 3. common times to start spinning like a moron are during wakeup if you predict your foe is going to try to hit you with something, during a jump, during drive rush, if you're blocking something big and slow, and of course after a DI punish. if you're fast you can also buffer if they block another button of yours close range, but if you're too plus and too fast it will whiff.

as for doing a midair SPD it's easiest if the last input of a 360 is up. also if you're brand new keep in mind a 360 means you only have to hit each cardinal direction once. you don't have to actually loop back and hit the first input again.

You don't, if you ever gave a single shit about this stuff your brain is wired wrong and you should just wait patiently for death.

Just play in ranked and focus on one thing at a time that isn't either victory or points. For example, work on specific combos, shimmies, your guard or your parry. It'll be less stressful that way.

Practice makes perfect, plus it's a video game, nobody gives a shit how good you are. Accept that it doesn't really matter, and enjoy yourself.
    Let go, and have fun.

That's completely normal when you play online. You just focus on one thing at a time. You don't learn to play an instrument with an entire song you start with simple notes. At low ranks people like to do random stuff and jump all the time, so focus on swatting people out of the air and trying to punish stuff you know is unsafe. Accept that you will lose, you don't really lose anything from losing.

I have a similar problem. I had covid real bad early on and since then my nervous system has been fogged. I can only play a couple matches at a time before the stress is way too much and I have to quit. I wanna grind out matches all day but I can't.
