Sup Ganker just bought the Nvidia RTX 4060 for cheap after so many years with an RX 570. What games do you guys recommend that I should enjoy now that I have a new GPU?

If you're gonna game, GO ALL OUT
>go all out
>amd ryzen 7
Ok
7800X3D mogs the i9 13900k in majority of games whilst being cheaper, cooler, draws less power and better 1% lows.
>Inb4 you reply with cope posts like "Muh work station blender, video editing etc."
We are on Ganker everyone here just plays games.
I have a i7 13700kf and it outperforms the ryzen 7 in every metric
Lol
Lmao
The 7800X3D wipes the floor with the i7 13700kf
I think you would find it’s the other way round
You want to keep going?
the difference even bigger with 4080/4090. even the 5800X3D is extremely fast in some games, the 3d cache is great
Honestly the best gaming cpu's on the market are the 7800X3D (If willing to shell out.) or the 5800X3D (Budget). There isn't any reason to get anything else if all you do really is game.
>lying on the internet
I see the i7 completely obliterating the ryzen, what are you trying to prove here
>intcels literally having schizophrenic delusions itt
GOLD
It’s ok to get fomo because you made the wrong CPU choice it happens to the best of us
> Got rekt so hard he started having visions of alternate realities.
Damn, that was a savage beating. I kinda feel sorry for you.
>why would you get the strongest gaming CPU?!?!!
I actually almost did go the 13900k just because I assumed it would be the best.
Till I saw benchmarks and how a fricking AIO is mandatory on it. Fook that, i'm not some console tier cuck with brand loyalty and I sure as shit am not someone who pretends that they "Do a bunch of work and stuff" on their PC to justify inferior Intel CPUs. I game, I jerk off and I shitpost on Ganker. Simple as
Just say you can’t spend an extra 100 dollars for a aio
Not him but kys homosexual
Also not him, KYS intcel.
I wouldn’t expect you to get one, it’s for patricians after all
also not any of the above mentioned but you should kys, nobody in their right mind puts liquid into their rig
I put my liquid man cream in your mom’s rig. Doesn’t that count?
It seems my superior opinion has led to some controversy
If your CPU needs more than a $40 aircooler like Peerless Assassin, then you're doing it wrong. Enjoy swapping out the AIO every few years when the pump assplodes

>AMD CPU With Nvidia GPU
Ooof.
>8 cores in 2023
Why is the 7800X3D being shilled so much when it has 8 cores lmfao.
That'll be obsolete in 2 years
Black person, games will literally never use more than 8 cores
Most games still don't even use more than 4 cores.
What the frick are you smoking lol
It's funny how Intel has to slap Celerons onto their core series chips to compete with AMD 8 core CPUs.
a fricking 4590 is still capable of running the latest AAA slop, you running neuron simulations or something?
moron
>two different branded SSDs with the exact same specifications
why?
also why skimp out on the case and case fans if you're going all out?
Who the frick spends a lot of cash on case fans and a case. A solid $100-150 case is all you need and fans can be whatever the frick you want assuming they're quiet. I swear poorgays focus on the most irrelevant shit.
>why would you want a quiet case and fans with good airflow
you tell me. Your case seems like dogshit, next time get a fractal design r7 or something it's not that much more expensive. Arctic fans are okay but they are no match for Noctua.
>x2 SSDs
I get two, so whichever one dies first, i'll know never to buy the brand again. I'm based that way
>Case and fans
What's wrong with the case and fans? It fits my 4090 and looks good enough. Why would I give a frick about a case as long as it has good airflow and if the fans aren't too loud?
It could always have a better airflow and be even more quiet, and an extra $100 or $200 to that end would not hurt if you're going all out.
Bro going all out with a gigabyte GPU kekleon
maybe he likes the sound of airplanes a lot?

You homies I bought the 4060 cause it's a low power GPU and I don't want the extra heat of some higher power beast. I game at 1080p and 1080p numbers looked good. So homies tell me what games you recommend to play.
Stick to flash games lil bro
4080super Soon
>That price
AHAHAHAHAHAHA DOA
I’d rather get a 4090 at that point
>Sup Ganker just bought the Nvidia RTX 4060
Except you didn’t.
This is another paid nShitia marketing shill thread. nVidia is getting to be as bad as Blizzard worth their marketing here
homie I ordered that shit and it's coming tomorrow. I'm looking for some games to be amaze about the 5 year development in games homie. I bought this shit at a good price bellow MSRP so I'm happy. Also AMD Drivers suck ass and I'm looking forward to see some improvements there as well.
>AMD Drivers suck ass
Haven't been true since 6XXX I guess you haven't been keeping up with the news this past 5 years either lmao.
You tell yourself that, homie.
How much do you make per post? Are you working through a third party or do you work directly for nVidia marketing? How did you get the gig? I would love to get for shitposting all day.
homie I ain't getting paid. I just got the 4060 at below MSRP and I think it was a good choice. At 115w tdp it runs better than AMD cards and even 3060 as well. I get good mid-range performance plus low power bill.
>Types like a shill bot
homie I ain't no shill. You think a fricking shill be saying homie? Damn b***h you one stupid homie.
Maybe you can run gta San Andreas, anything above that and you'll see 6 fps especially at 1080p
>i5 6600k

finally out of broke college mode after 4 years and want to upgrade, what's a good build for around 2000 burger coins?
Something with a 3080 if on a budget
You could probably get a good 7800X3D, 32GB DDR5, 7900XTX build for about 2200 if you are willing to save up a little more.
Ddr5 is a bit of a meme imo you can do fine with d4, any bottlenecking will be negligible
You could go for something like this perhaps.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/YdjBPF
If you're willing to spend like $150 more you can get the XFX 7900XTX.
I also had a 1060 for a while and also went with a 2k budget. Did the 7700x microcenter bundle + the 7900xt for a great AMD build.
>just gets out of debt
>thirsty to spend all he can ASAP
You will always be poor… let me tell you why.
OP you can enjoy Yuzu and Ryujinx even using OpenGL on games that crash km Ryujinx. You also have the option to use DLSS 3.0 if you want to get even more frames but use higher presets or even run games at 4k if you ever get a 4k monitor.
Why are you serious responding to fricking marketing thread? Lmao
Lmao
I feel like the two homosexuals arguing about cpus are pr reps from their respective companies
100% they are. Companies have been Ganker’s anonymity to free market post for years. nVidia and Blizzard are the most obvious and worst offenders.
homie why would someone be shilling so late?
Money does not have a curfew homie
I mean I'm giving OP some examples where Nvidia might be worth it. Although the 3060 12GB is a better choice due to larger VRAM.
>Although the 3060 12GB is a better choice due to larger VRAM.
It subjective on what is a better choice is for some people, sure the RAM might be better for some peoples needs as can the power efficiency etc of the 4060, given the little price differnce between the two, some could argue the 4060 is the better choice due to it being a faster and more efficient card with a better resell value to the median gamer
>only 8GB VRAM
AHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
>4060
lol, it's already outdated. If you upgrade once in 10 years you had better make it count instead of going for the bargain bin option.
Battlebit: Remastered
go play a wabbajack modlist
I just built my first PC today. After upgrading pieces of my old PC over the years I decided to do it all outright. Holy shit at last I see.
It's truly a good feeling when you do your first full build.
It’s a better feeling when I buy a perfectly good console that plays all the games I want and invest the rest of the money to make more.
PC is a dead platform.
>consoleBlack person

how does it feel anon? Describe the newfound feeling of POWER and CONTROL you now command.

ROFLMFAO
This post rings kinda hollow because it comes from someone that has to pay a subscription fee for the privilege of playing online games and rebuys their games every generation.
of course it rings hollow, it's bait. You made it whole by replying to it. Expect another hollow response from that anon
I know the feeling. I just built my 2nd computer all from scratch.
Was shaking pressing the button for the first time as this time I used really expensive parts.
Gonna build my first one soon, the only part that worries me is installing the cpu
Just watch how they do it in the videos, don't put too much and not too little paste. It's not that hard you'll do great. You can always take it out and reapply the paste anyway
>Was shaking pressing the button for the first time
I've been building PCs since the late 90's and that anxiety and powering on for the first time never really goes away when you've bought the components with your own money.. Not so much the fear of you've done something wrong, but the fear that you'll have to start fault finding, pullin gyour build apart and RMA'ing component/s
>8700k
>2070s
>16GB DDR4
I have no reason to upgrade, it just works.
what are you doing with it?
you know anything lower than 70 series is not for gaming
wow he really is going all out with the poor bait. I guess the lack of games in his $500 blu-ray player is causing him to grow desperate
>1080p
>144hz
>R9 380
>Ryzen 5 2600
>16 gb RAM
I don't feel the need to upgrade.
>watch benchmark vids
>4060 beats 3060 and has lower power draw to do it
Don't fall for buttcoin miners trying to sell their old cards, the 4060chad is better overall except for price-wise
except for vramlets too
Pretty much, the 4060 is a great card for 1080, upscaling performs nice too. Yes it's overpriced, but i'm happy with mine and i'll likely sell it on in a couple of years or so and get a good chunk of the money back and buy an equally efficient 16gb card or whatever
the cope is real
>the cope is real
Cope for what, the fact that I bought an RTX 4060 and 2 AMD RX's in the last three months for my three PCs?
PCchads, how do we cope with being the best at everything all the time? Like I cannot think of one thing consoles do better!
Well they do sell better for uneducated people
people whining about "MUH VRAM" need to realize that not everyone is playing at 4k with maximum raytracing settings
Modern games are using up to 10GB of VRAM on 1080p High.
You're fricked if you go for 8GB VRAM.
>You're fricked if you go for 8GB VRAM.
mountains and molehills
in games such as...?
VRAM scaling doesn't work like that...it's not like 4k uses double the VRAM
>4060
You fricked up bad. There are no recent games worth playing either.
The same shit you've always been playing, old classic games, indie games, and mods for stuff you've played a lot already like GZDoom.
>t. RTX 3090 owner
Try CS Source, I hear that's hard to run.
Oh and Marathon: Infinity.
>4060
Ratchet and clanks rift apart. looks like a playable pixar movie on my 4090 with everything cranked to ultra in 4k
>for cheap
how cheap, be honest
How exactly is a 4060 Ti 16GB "bad value" for someone who is several generations behind? I'm looking for an AI card for voice cloning and it doesn't seem like a bad deal ($500 in my c**t, no it won't get any cheaper) since I already know there is no 4000 Series card that will be bad for video games, at least not if you stay in 1080p. Or none of them will be worse than the 2018 AMD shit I have already at least.
I wanted a 4070 Ti because it's like $300 more but it only has 12GB.
I found several 3060's 12GB online but they were all mined to shit.
I looked at the 4080 but it's way out of my budget
I considered a 3090 for the 24GB but I would have to buy a new PSU
Why should I stay away from the 4060 Ti 16GB in my circumstances?
4070 is great value but it's about $1k over where I live
Non-Ti 4070 is $700 for me but again, only 12GB.
3080ti objectively the best value/performance card right now. don't ever buy under __80, just get the previous gens higher end card if you can't afford the current gen.
But 3080 Ti only has 12GB too. I could get the 3090 but that + the new PSU comes out at the same price as 4070 Ti (where I can reuse my current PSU) but that would have less vram again, and then other options start looking attractive too.
It's a fricking mess to pick a GPU.
5700xt still good?
