Surprisingly good. Good story, interesting characters, good gunplay. Probably my favorite game out of all the mediocre over the shoulder snoy third person action games.
What did you guys think?

Platinum'd it. Very good.
Boring story though but fundamentally pretty fun
It's a bit too long for its own good but I had fun with it. I'm a simple man, I get to go fast on my motorcycle and blow up zombies I'm happy, I laughed whenever I rammed into a tree and ate shit or Deacon went on one of his schizo rants to no one.
What exactly did Copeland do wrong?
>parts out the bike at the start forcing you to work for him scraping a particular item that has sentimental value to Deek
>nearly chops up Boozeman's bike before you get it back
>spends 3/4 of the game telling absolute fibs on the radio to suit his half baked narrative
Hes nowhere near as bad as that old c**t at the hotsprings or the larping general but hes no saint either. As a consolation he does teach you how to properly field dress a carcass when hunting.
literally one of the best games ever created, it was torpedo'd by sony because it came out around tlou2.
They couldn't have a story about a cis white man looking for his cis white wife in the zombie apoc. They also killed the chances for sequels and bankrupted the company.
I thought it was pretty good, like the other anon said it was a bit too long. I regret playing on hardcore mode though, 3/4 the way through the game I really started regret not being able to fast travel. Lots of times you have to go across the entire map just to get a quest. Fuel isnt a problem and there is no risk of dying it just got kind of tedious.
Still though its one of the better zombie games. I would rank it above dead island and dying light.
VERY FUN with cool characters that didnt do much plot wise
maybe for the best considering how all the sony story driven games suck ass
They really fricking missed the mark about the two things they hyped up: the motorcycle and hoardes.
The motorcycle upgrades are boring as frick and there is zero customization. And the hoardes are small with only one actually big one, which was of course the one they showed in the gameplay videos. The rest of the hoardes you just level with a few grenades.
>it was torpedo'd by sony because it came out around tlou2.
DG came out at least a year before tlou2, a sequel was put on hold simply because it missed the internal time goals that almost all of their AAA games have (i.e., 10mil). It still sold 9mil anyway and is probably one of the most requested snoy sequels
>the hoardes are small with only one actually big one
Not true, at least 3 hoardes have 1-2k+ infected and 5 of them have 700-800 zombies
>Not true, at least 3 hoardes have 1-2k+ infected and 5 of them have 700-800 zombies
Where are you getting these numbers from? Largest in the game is at the Sawmill with 500
I hope you aren't playing on rèddit difficulties (the ones where the radar and all the on-screen shit is still visible) because that affects the size of the hordes, also explore more because towards the end of the game there are traveling, non-plot related, huge (1-2k) hordes. The sawmill is the first medium-sized horde that the average player cannot miss
The Sawmill isnt a medium-sized horde. Its the largest horde in the game and has around 500 zombies. There are 2 seperate horde groups at the sawmill that can both be aggroed at the same time so it can end up around 1k. No other hordes in the game come close. The rest average from 100-300 zombies.
false, and no wonder since on pc there's a mod for increasing the number of zombies in the hordes when just raising the difficulty would have sufficed. Even snoys on reddit had a good laugh about it, so much for the masta race
You're just straight up lying or your head canon has overtaken your sanity. I played on hardest difficulty and the hoardes range from like 70-500, and sawmill is the largest. Have you even played the game? The game was also scrutinised because it advertised MASSIVE HOARDES WOW REVOLUTIONARY GAMEPLAY but most of them ended up being sub-100. The game was fine but so many aspects felt half-cooked.
The one at the sawmill is the largest, the most fun, and actually challenging.
There might be two other larger ones, but still not the size of sawmill.
The rest 700-800 are small compared and are dead in 2 minutes.
>motorcycle customization
tf were you even expecting
More than one upgrade per type. It's so linear. It doesn't even have to be fancy, but when you spent 98% of the game on that bike I'd expect it to be actually fun to drive and upgrade/customize.
RDR2 did I better with horses.
Days Gone? More like Gays Done! Damn, i'm right bros?
More like Gays Gone because i don't remember any homosexualry
not only that, the one alleged dyke is treated by Deacon because she wants to frick him only to end up with a "no way gay" from him. No wonder it drove the rèsetera mob crazy
I had more fun with it than I thought I would. Goddamn shame the sequel got snubbed.
Boring story, homosexual main character (Whine, whine, whine, why me, wah wah wah) for a biker one piss poor whiny b***h, but all in all the best of the snoy crap. Last of Ass was way worse.
>for a biker
Bikers have always been 0/shit worst counterculture
t. Copeland
There is no cope here, I'm just telling it how it is. Seethe more homosexual, no one cares.
Copeland is a character you meet near the beginning of the game who is a complete lunatic who Deacon berates. Of course you'd know that if you had actually played the game.
Whatever you say Cope
moron
>guy called Copeland
>spends most of his time seething on the radio about all kinds of shit
Lul
ARRRGGHHHHH
It's weird how there was a lot of woke shit because the guy running the development turned out to be a chud
Leftist millennials can't write, have no logical thinking, and have no self awareness. Shocker I know.
Watching this silly old fart go blue in the face from the hemlock was great. Getting to finally ditch that shitty conscript jacket was a breath of fresh air.
>hormone drug industry trend
>poor life choices
>out of your control
>ordained by god
do the zombies dilate in this game too?
He is the villian that you are supposed to kill late game though
Best game sony ported on PC
I am annoyed. This game had a lot of Syphon Filter references and they were teasing a sequel that crossed over with Syphon Filter.
Game just kinda fizzled out for me at the southern lake. I stopped when deacon had his idea how to take on hordes. Fully upgraded crossbow made the gameplay too easy and I wish the game had more zombie variety.
The locations were very cool though.
>hapa leaves nig dyke for a white man
how is this possible i thought this was israelited out
This game musta had the worst ESG score, it was cancelled practically pre-release
Extremely good. Writing was hit or miss, but the game is top tier.
This is the most average game that I've ever played, it's amazing honestly, there's nothing memorable about it, but at the same time everything is enjoyable enough for a singular playthrough
i thought this guy was the comic relief
Felt a bit out of left field that hes the one to murk the doctor. Seemed more like his segmant was cut for time with how sudden it was.
>good story
stopped reading there. all the characters were cringe and stupid beyond belief. all forgettable aside from that homosexual who was helping you then turned out to be hybrid in that final reveal
It was good. I would have liked a sequel. Really enjoy just driving around on my bike. The next game should have moved towards Portland or Seattle for a bigger urban setting. Cyberpunk 2077 is scratching this itch for me cause you can drive around on a bike everywhere and the badlands surrounding areas are just enough for the sense of wilderness. Mad Max 2015 was enjoyable too by letting you upgrade and maintain your vehicle.
If you weren't such a vehicle gay I would highly recommend you The Division games.
First game for a winter setting in the middle of collapse and the second for post collapse. Don't mind the fact they're marketed as online multiplayer games. I've played both solo or in coop at best and have close to 1000 hours in both of them combined. The 3rd person shooting is the best 3rd person cover based shooting on the market. Highly tactical, high difficulty, but fair. Story is barebones thin, but urban exploring the locations and environmental story telling are 10/10 top tier.
2nd game is a bit pozzed during story though, but it doesn't matter for the regular gameplay.
Sounds worth a try
>the division
I hecking love emptying 2 mags to kill a low tier grunt. Fun gameplay.
Game is balanced around endgame. You can go different builds, either engineer with turrets, combat drones, remote drones and chemical warfare or you go blue build tank with a shield and armor repair or glass cannon red build.
It's easily possible to make a sniper that kills everything with 1 headshot and if you have all red cores it'll take no more than 1 magazine to kill even yellow enemies. Tanky minibosses notwithstanding.
On lower difficulties everything dies really quick regardless.
The best walking dead game i've ever played where you play dale. Story was great too, especially after you beat the game and that dude in the helicopter shows up again for one more scare. still pissed those troony homosexuals killed it. Really wanted a sequel.
>Surprisingly good
Somebody post the webm of that scavenger enemy patrol tripping over the dead body of his comrade and continue walking
It wasn't bad.
>Probably my favorite game out of all the mediocre over the shoulder snoy third person action games
Second best if you count Death Stranding
